I have done business with Joe C[redacted] from Nationwide for 7 years. I unfortunately was ripped off by one of their former employees who started their own business called [redacted]. They are NOT the same company. Mr. C[redacted] has always done right by me and their fast shipping has been everything I could ask for. I highly recommend them.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

My name is [redacted] for the Town of [redacted], and as my name was mentioned in the previous correspondence by Nationwide Environmental Services, I believe it necessary to respond personally, as authorized to do so by [redacted], with whom all previous correspondence was addressed. I vehemently deny any and all "purchase" of the products, currently totaling 3 shipments, sent by Nationwide Environmental Services. It is not our practice here, nor has it ever been, to make purchases from unsolicited phone calls.  I only agreed to accept any "free samples" of a Floating Lift Station Degreaser after the sales persons sales pitch was turned down. As I stated to him, and any other sales persons that call our plant, we are a very small facility and do not use products of that nature often enough to warrant the purchase of such. We quickly dismiss the general sales pitches of the variety of companies looking to sell their products to us, as we just do not have the need for most of these products, nor do we have to time to entertain every sales pitch that rings our phones. The first shipments arrival was believed to be the aforementioned "free sample" and it has not been used still to this date.  Our office got a bill for this shipment that I, nor anyone at this facility had any knowledge of, and it was paid. Another shipment of a larger quantity arrived here within a month or so, and with it a much larger bill. Once again, this was paid by our office, assuming that the product had again been "purchased" or even "ordered", which of course, it was NOT!  Shortly thereafter, yet another, the third shipment of this same product arrived, we however caught this one before it was paid for. We simply wish to return each of these products, all of which are unopened and unused, as we had no need for them! We would like to return these, at the expense of Nationwide Environmental Services, as we dispute this "purchase". We would like reimbursement for the products returned, all 3 of them, as they are still in "new" condition, and would like to have no further contact, association, or correspondence with this company, Nationwide Environmental Services, in the future. Our purchases have, and will continue, to go through reputable companies that we have dealt with locally and personally. I am extremely displeased that Nationwide Environmental Services chose to pass this off as a legitimate business deal. This claim may be further discussed with myself, and/or my [redacted], Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm daily.  Thank you for your assistance in getting this matter resolved.

Review: I had ordered a sample of a product (Free Flow) to try out in our sewer system. After the original order was made the business kept automatically sending shipments of this product.Desired Settlement: We want shipments stopped and the last shipment of product returned without being invoiced.

Review: An unsolicited attempt was made to sell flotation degreaser to our [redacted]. We refused the "free trial" and they sent it anyway. When Nationwide Environmental Services was contacted they acknowledged that we hadn't ordered it but stated that they couldn't take it back. Instead, they offered a "significant discount." We again refused. They have turned us over to collections and continue to bill us - adding late fees - for a product we never ordered nor used. This is harassment.Desired Settlement: A letter retracting false charges. Would also expect the business to cease and desist harassment and refrain from any further contact.

Review: On May 30, 2013 we received a package addressed to our former maintenance manager from Nationwide Environmental Services. Upon opening the package it was discovered to be a type of sewer clean out material which we have no use for. A purchase order had not been issued for the product and April Weathersby our inventory clerk immediately contacted Nationwide Environmental Services to arrange a pick up of the product. [redacted] was the first person she spoke to. He transferred her to a woman who said the computers were down and they would call back. The next morning (May 31, 2013)[redacted] called and said the [redacted] (our previous maintenance manager who retired in May) had ordered the material. April explained that [redacted] no longer works here and would not have ordered the product without a Purchase order. At that point I got on the phone and asked who supposedly took the order [redacted] said that a man named [redacted] but he was out until Monday but would call us then. On June 7, 2013, April called and spoke to [redacted] at Nationwide Environmental regarding a pickup of the product. [redacted] transferred the call to [redacted] who said that he would have someone look into it. On June 11, 2013 April called again and spoke to [redacted] and then [redacted] came on the phone again. After explaining the situation yet again, [redacted] put [redacted] on the phone. [redacted] said that he spoke with [redacted] in April and received a verbal Purchase order. After going back and forth with him, April turned the call over to me and I explained that I am the Executive Director, I did not authorize this purchase and they needed to pick the product up. [redacted] said he needed to speak to [redacted] (our retired employee). At that point, I said fine and hung up. On June 12, 2013, I received an invoice from Nationwide Environmental in the amount of $130.26, which includes $31.36 for shipping.Desired Settlement: I would like Nationwide Environmental Services to arrange to have the product picked up and returned to them at their expense and to receive a credit memo in the amount of $130.26. I would also request that we never receive another phone call or material from Nationwide Environmental Services.

Sincerely,

Review: The Maintenance Supervisor of our property was contacted by Nationwide Environmental Services sales rep on or about 8/**/2013. The sales rep advised that they would ship a free sample of their product to the property. Our Maintenance Supervisor agreed to the terms and reiterated they could send any free sample for us to try but we would not be purchasing anything at the time. We received a bucket of product and an invoice followed in the amount of $130.26. I contacted the company to let them know that we did not order any product and they needed to have the product (which was never opened) picked up and returned to their company as we are not going to pay an unauthorized invoice, nor return shipping fees. [redacted] stated to me that they have no free samples on the sales floor and that he wished our Maintenance Supervisor had told "[redacted]" ([redacted]) that he was not authorized to purchase this particular product before he ordered it. I advised that we will not be paying the $31.36 shipping fee that is listed on the invoice to ship the product back to which he stated that there is a powdered substance in the bucket shipped to us and that since 9/11 shipping these products back and forth would be a problem. [redacted] advised that just as the invoice states "All Sales Are Final". We will not be paying this invoice and all information has been forwarded to our company's legal department for further action.Desired Settlement: This company should not be allowed to advise companies that they will provide free samples and then charge us for them. They can have the product back, but we will not be paying for shipping and our invoice should be deleted.

Review: Nationwide Environmental Services has sent many bills to city hall with an invoice number of #[redacted]. I have never received an invoice to this product nor have we ever ordered anything from this company. Upon speaking with this company multiple times and trying to resolve this issue. they agree with my findings and agree to drop the charges because we did not order this product. How I know this is that the person that ordered this product on the invoice passed away two months before their product was invoiced. There was no product ever received.Desired Settlement: I want the bill to go away and to be dropped from their mailing and call lists.

Review: I spoke with a [redacted] a few different times via phone. He described the materials they sell and I told him I was not interested. Then he offered me a "trial" pack to see if I like it. No price was mentioned. I assumed "trial" was free since no price was mentioned. We got the item in the mail along with invoice a couple days later. I called [redacted] back and asked what this bill was about since I was getting a "trial" pack. He said he told me the price and I agreed to it. Which I did NOT. I don't clear buying things unless I clear it with the Village Hall offices first. I said we would pay it anyways but we didn't want any more to do with them. It was probably only a week later and their collections department was contacting the Village of Ramsey village hall office and harassing [redacted] for payment. Which I was told it was told by [redacted] it was a "Net 60 day" payment. On invoice it said "Net 30 Day" [redacted] told them we could not pay the bill until a Village Board meeting so they would have to wait until then anyways. Plus, we have a month and a half before was supposed to be due anyways. We paid that invoice off.

Then last week we received another package from Nationwide Environmental Services. I did not open the package. I knew we did not order anything from them. I called again and spoke with the manager [redacted]. He said I "ordered" this. I told him I did not order anything. I told him about the "trial" package from [redacted] and he said that wouldn't happen again. He also said there was no balance left there. He also faxed over a paper saying we are clear and don't owe anything. I also told them to quit calling us.

Today 6-**-13 we got a call in the office from a [redacted] from Nationwide Environmental Services. I told them they are not to contact us anymore and he said he would try not to do so. Then a couple hours later we got an invoice in the mail for $500+. This is for the package we received last week. I did NOT order this. They PO# they provided is not a PO# that I typically use.

I tried to call today but there was no manager in the office today they say. -- By looking online on [redacted], [redacted], and other pages it is a growing trend that they are some sort of scam it appears.Desired Settlement: I would like to get a refund for the invoice we already paid $130+ for the first invoice. I want us to be clear from paying invoice #[redacted] for $500+. I would love to see this company to quit calling Village of Ramsey and EJ Water Cooperative, Inc..

I would really like to see this company get shut down to where they can't continue these poor business practices.

Although, I received last week another package just like they sent before. The company name on this package was Cavaletto LLC. I tried to call but no one answered at the number. I did research online and it looks like this is a branch off of Nationwide Environmental which we had the initial problem with. I rejected the package for this. I would still like to get refunded for what we paid them already for something I did not even order.

Sincerely,

Review: On June **, 2013 maintenance on our property received a phone call on his emergency maintenance cell phone from Nationwide Environmental Services. The representative that spoke with maintenance asked maintenance if he was interested in a drain cleaning product. Maintenance explained to him that he was not authorized to purchase anything without management approval. The representative then proceeded to tell maintenance that this was a free sample they were sending out and no charges or fee's would be billed to the property. Shortly after, this product arrived to the leasing office and was signed for by management. As the box was opened maintenance told management that this was a free sample and is well aware he is not authorized to make purchases without approval. About 2 weeks later management received an invoice for this product. We immediately called to inquire why and they explained maintenance called them and requested the product. After going back and forth and stating maintenance did not request this product the company let us know all sales are final and they do not reach out to customers unless they are contacted. We then told them this product had not been opened and we would gladly send this back. They exclaimed they did not do returns and all sales were final. When called back from Nationwide in regards to an open invoice they then stated maintenance requested information and their product online. When asked if they had paper proof of this they stated all requests are deleted after contact is made. When we asked the company to explain why maintenance's name was spelled incorrectly on the shipping label especially if maintenance himself requested this product online they stated it must have been a clerical error. We are shipping the product back in hopes to be done with this company as it has brought unwanted stress.Desired Settlement: All that we are wanting from Nationwide Environmental Services is to accept the product that we are sending back as it has not been used and disregard any invoice sent to us as we never requested this any product from them. Also, we want all contact from this company to ours to cease.

Review: This business keeps sending us unsolicited products, then invoices for products. They refuse to accept returns. We have expressed repeatedly that we did not order, nor do we want their product. If we return the order, they refuse and send multiple collection emails. They credit former employees with being responsible for the order. We have had to have our City attorney send them letters in the past to cease shipping us unsolicited items.Desired Settlement: For Nationwide Environmental Services to never ship us another unsolicited or ordered item. To pay for return shipping.
