Great pricing and excellent service.
We are super happy with the service we received. Overall great job, super thankful for the creative thinking on getting the box springs in and for hooking up our washer/dryer. We didn't know much about getting the washer/dryer broken down to move or getting them set back up which crew did for us. I hope the crew is around the next time we move since they provided great pricing and excellent service on this move we will certainly be repeat customers!

Thank you so much for choosing Nationwide Relocation Group, it was certainly a pleasure working with you and your family and if you need anything in the future don't hesitate to reach out to us at XXX-XXX-XXXX. We hope you enjoy your new home!

After contacting several companies about our move, we were contacted to Nationwide Relocation Group. The first thing we appreciated was his upfront fee information; most other companies left a wide margin where their fees were involved. Adam and his team were professional but personable, they worked hard and as quickly as they could to get us moved and went the extra mile to ensure we were satisfied with the move. I would definitely recommend this moving company to anyone needing this service and when the time comes for my family to move again, we will certainly contact Nationwide Relocation Group!!

I contracted Nationwide to move me from El Paso, Texas to the greater Seattle area in Washington in July 2020. I was given a cost estimate for the move without any physical inspection of how much I needed to be loaded and moved. I provided a rough weight estimate and informed the moving counselor on the phone how much space my last move had taken as well as a breakdown of the large items that needed to be moved. I paid 1/3 of the total estimate before the movers showed up, with the understanding that on moving day the second 1/3 of the cost would be due, and the final amount would be due upon delivery. I stated clearly that I needed an empty weight for the moving truck, as well as a loaded weight upon delivery, as well as wanting a direct delivery, no storage was wanted. When the movers showed up (around 3pm for a 9am start time), they did another estimate for how much it would cost for the move after seeing the actual amount that I needed to be moved. This estimate was above the initial estimate, but still was within my budget. I signed the contract to move all my items for the agreed upon increased price. This is where everything went downhill. I was assured that I could pay via credit card for the second of the three installments when I initially contacted Nationwide, which was true. The subcontracted company that actually showed up to move my stuff said they charged a 20% credit card fee, yes twenty percent!! After balking at this, I was done a "favor" and the credit card fee was reduced to only 10%. which still amounted to several hundred dollars over what was agreed upon. I had little choice, as I would forfit the initial down payment if I cancelled at this point, thereby losing nearly $3k. Movers started loading items into the truck at 5pm. Next the job foreman told me there was a bulk item charge for several of my items that were already listed on the original list that I provided to the company before even making my initial downpayment to secure thier services. He wanted $250 dollars per bulk item, those bulk items were 1. Washing machine 2. Clothes dryer 3. motorcycle, and 4. a push lawnmower. Yes, a push lawnmower!! I refused. Futhermore, the foreman now said that we were over the agreed upon space requirements for my move, and that more money was needed to finish the job. After some very fuzzy math, he stated that an additional $10,000 is what it would cost to finish. That $10k is slightly more than double what I had contracted him to do the job for. I refused. I told him to close the truck and start driving to Washington, to which he replied that he wasn't headed to Washignton, but to Chicago to put my stuff in storage until he had another delievery on the west coast to add to the truck as the truck wasn't full and in order to keep costs down, he had to fill it before delivery. If I wanted an "express" delivery, that would be an additional $600. I told him to take it to Chicago then, even though I had already contracted Nationwide for a direct delivery, as I would not pay another dime. I ended up having to rent my own moving truck and move the remaining 25% of my household goods that he had been contracted to move. When I tried to contact Nationwide about the huge increase in price, it was after 10 pm on the East coast, and they were closed. I never received a single phone call back from them, no apologies, no attempts were made on their behalf to try to justify the attempted extortion of money from me to finish a job they were hired to do. The subcontractor tried to get more money from me after before delivery, and it wasn't until I threatened legal action that they stopped actively pursuing more money to deliver. If you are considering using this company for your moving needs, be prepared to finish the job yourself, or be willing to pay exorbitant additional fees not included in the contract that you will sign if you expect them to do the entire job. In 18 years of moving around the world in the military, this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. Next move will be Army procured instead of personally procured as this one was. If the company the Army hires to do the job is Nationwide, I will flat out run the other way.

I paid this relocation broker a deposit and they did not come through with a mover under the agreement we made to move us.

I strongly dispute this charge! It was agreed-upon that they were going to move us from Montana to Colorado. They were supposed to arrive at our home in Montana on Tuesday or Wednesday, November 12-13, 2019. Nationwide is a broker who subcontracted the job out to a carrier called Black Bear out of Newport Beach California. I was in contact with their representative *** and *** and it sounded like the move was going to go smoothly. They did not arrive on Tuesday or Wednesday. I waited until Friday and still no one came. I did speak with *** from Black Bear and he said they were going to come with an 18 wheeler. I told him all we needed was a 26 foot truck and he said they were coming with an 18 wheeler and it was not going to be a direct move. I said that's not what we contracted for. We definitely were supposed to have a direct move from Montana to Colorado and the specific dates were Wednesday the 13th to arrive Sunday, 17 November to Colorado. When *** told me that they were going to unload our possessions in California and then load them back up without a specified date and take them to Colorado, I said that is not what we contracted for and I was told by *** that this is how they do business and if I don't like it find someone else. I called Nationwide and they tried to find another carrier and they said Guardian Movers out of Denver could do it. I talked to someone from Guardian Movers and it sounded like they were going to come but then it was l was not able to get in touch with him again. Nationwide was also not able to get in touch with Guardian Movers.

They did not keep their part of the agreement in coming on a specific day delivering on a specific day or a direct move. Also they said they could use a smaller truck instead of an 18 wheeler that would involve having to have all our possessions shuttled to another location if they were not able to get into our cul-de-sac.

They did not show up at all so there were no services at all rendered.
I can prove that we had to rent a U-Haul truck 26 foot and a U-Haul trailer to pull behind our jeep. We had friends help pack and load the truck and trailer. Also we hired a student from the college in Havre to drive the truck to Colorado. I have the receipts from U-Haul. My buyer for the home in Montana needed to
move into that home that he had purchased.

Please return this charge of $1500.

Desired Outcome

I paid $1500 that I would like refunded please.

I called nationwide relocation and spoke with ***. She told me at that time that the three main players that I have complaints against are no longer working for the company. She said that says a lot right there. She said would talk to billing and get back to me at 1 o'clock on Friday, July 3. She did not call me so I called back on July 6. I spoke with *** again and she said she did talk to billing. She said she would need to talk to the owner of the company and she would get back to me. I've been told that many times in the past I never hear back.

At this time I am still waiting to hear back from *** at Nationwide Relocation Services.

I had the pleasure of working with this company because I moved from Las Vegas to Phoenix recently. They managed the move like true experts and had my best interest in mind when conducting the pick, up drop off and overall communication. Their commitment to a quality move is reassuring. My things just arrived today, on time.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a positive review, and to share the experience you had with us here at Nationwide Relocation Group! It's is greatly appreciated. It was a pleasure working with you and your family and we hope you guys enjoy the new place.

The value I received through this long distance move was fantastic. I was given a fair price from my relocation to Seattle from Texas. My project manager kept me informed about the status of my belongings and maintained professionalism throughout all correspondence. Considering I've heard countless horror stories about long distance moves, this one went exceedingly well! Boy, am I glad it did!

The estimate for our move was $2K less than what it actually cost and were assessed a credit card payment fee after being told there wouldn't be one.
Estimate reference number: XXXXXXX

Desired Outcome

At a minimum, we would like the $90+ credit card fee we were told would be waived that we had to pay to be refunded. Given the estimate was off by over 30% and their customer service keeps telling me they will call back to address this and give some refunds but have not for over two weeks, we would like a reasonable refund for the overall cost of the move to make this right.

I called the number provided and left a message and nobody returned my call. This has been indicative of my experience when I have called their number for the last two months. They will often says they will call me back or simply not return voicemails.

This moving company was much more attentive and accommodating than I was anticipating. They answered all of my questions prior to the move, left nothing out, were transparent and maintained the same price point. Thank you again for everything you provided during this relocation from Dallas to Alpharetta. I have already recommended this service to all of my friends, family and associates.

I used Nationwide Relocation Group.
We really had a great experience with their Services.
The crew that picked us up in this situation! Excellent team!
On the other end, David and Alex were dynamic! Unpacked the truck and our belongings, we couldn't have asked for better service. They were on time and worked hard, the hired crew from Sandpoint did an awesome job as well. They put everything that needed to be back together and there are no noticeable damages!
We can't thank you enough.
We would give you more stars if we could!

Thanks for the review Amanda! It was a pleasure working with and moving your family. We hope you enjoy the new place ;)

Only move I've had that the price was exactly as told to me by the employee at Nationwide Relocation Group. All the movers were very courteous and clean. They loaded everything for me. Disassembled all the large furniture items and me being an elderly man with my wife that was amazing. I told the gentleman from nationwide that I was a veteran and found out he was too. All the movers thanked me for my service very good bunch of movers. I would recommend them to anyone. They put all my belongings in my new home exactly where they needed to go. I would trust them with my belongings in the future. Nationwide Relocation Group works with very professional moving teams. They were very reassuring took a great inventory and have amazing accountability. Easiest move I have ever conducted. I've moved dozens of time and wish I could have used them every time.

Barry, Were very happy to hear about your great experience with us at Nationwide and we genuinely appreciate you taking the time to express your experience with us. All I heard was good things about this particular move. We hope you enjoy the new apartment in New Jersey, and if you need help with any other services please feel to reach out to us. We can help you get your electric bill discounted, help you find a good cable company, and even recommend contractors in your area. Good luck with the new job, it was a pleasure working with you Barry!

This was the best long distance moving experience I've come across. It was my third time going through something like this, although the other two times I was indirectly involved since it was my parents transitioning from one state to another when this time it was my own family. Based on this experience, I noticed a lot of things Nationwide Relocation Group did better than the other moving companies I experienced.

They are professional and extremely knowledgeable about long distance moves and it shows in their demeanor and overall approach during the moving process. They keep you informed and understand the importance of maintaining an accurate pickup and drop off schedule. Highly, highly recommend them to anyone seeking a credible long distance moving company.

Nationwide Relocation Group brokered a move for me from Oregon to New Mexico. When I asked about the mover they selected, they told me "Platinum Moving and Storage" was someone they worked with a lot - they were a preferred mover. I looked them up online - and good reviews gave me reassurance. In fact - the reviews I was reading were for Platinum Moving and Storage in California - NOT the one hired by NWRG. In fact, the one they hired is in in Illinois and is using the same logo as Platinum Moving in California! Really! It is right there on my Bill of Lading.
In the end, my move was awful. Old furniture was broken or damaged and a number of items were missing from the first delivery. An inventory was NEVER taken of my belongings when they were moved into and out of storage. When the (surprise!) $800 shuttle truck arrived my items were mixed someone else's items. I soon realized some large things (8) were missing - but no one knew where they were for certain as the inventory sheets were not used to check. A few weeks the rest of my belongings were delivered from their storage locker in Denver. Once again, my items were mixed with another person's and I had to help figure out what was mine. We opened a few boxes to be sure as the other person's belongings had no inventory tags. Thankfully, everything was delivered in the end.
I began the claims process in earnest - recalling the initial assurance I received from Nationwide Relocation that although 60cents/pound was on the contract, it was in their and the mover's interest to repair what they break. That good reviews and happy customers were important. I sent the requested photos and descriptions. I was told the process was started. Then I was asked to fill out additional information online with movingclaims.net. The site is exasperating and makes its money through pop-up ads (it is free for movers). A few hours into it, I phoned "Platinum Moving" with my concerns and I was told in no uncertain terms that I would only receive (at most) 60 cents/pound and that I would receive nothing without going through the online site. I opted for sanity, so am no sharing my tale so others can avoid Nationwide Relocation Group (who happily work with "Platinum Moving") and "Platinum Moving Group in Illinois (*** is contact) - whoever they really are.

The pickup and drop off times were coordinated perfectly with what was promised to us. Our belongings were transported successfully to our new residence in Tampa, Florida from Dallas, Texas. The project manager was easily accessible and willing to keep me updated regarding the fulfillment of the transportation process. This was a well orchestrated move!

At last, I found the best moving company. Brilliant from start to finish. Customer service was amazing, very fairly priced and all of my belongings arrived safely. I highly recommend them.

Nationwide Relocation Group Response • Jan 29, 2020

Thanks ***! It was very nice getting to know you and your family, and I'm happy you chose and trusted Nationwide Relocation Group with all your belongings. This is exactly the reaction we're looking for and try to maintain here. We hope you enjoy the new place! Thanks again!

Nationwide Relocation sub contracted our house move from Portland, OR to Nashville, Tn. We agreed a price of $1615.71 for 7 items and 21 pieces (15 boxes were part of the pieces). Nationwide sub contracted our move to *** (CA). When the movers showed up Oct. 29th (XXXX), they had an old/original contract with 5 items and 9 pieces. *** movers wanted to charge an extra $1200. I spoke with *** (head of customer service) from Nationwide (as my contact Dave would not return my phone calls) and he couldn't understand why they had an old contract. I waited in the living room for 2 hours with movers without a resolution as *** was unable to give me any answers. Kept saying he would sort out with ***, but there was no progress or proof of effort from his end. The movers eventually threatened to leave. My hands were tied, and I agreed to pay an extra $684.83.
As well,Nationwide was to have our items taken to a storage unit 10 miles from our home address in Nashville. Instead, was taken to a storage unit in California. This is important, as when our house was ready to move in, *** told us our items were still in California and it would take 2/3 weeks. We desperately needed our stuff quicker and would had received them had they been at the agreed storage in Nashville. *** reduced the cost by $250 to apologize although they said they were not informed of this from Nationwide.
For 2.5 months *** has promised to resolve the extra cost. I have filed two written complaints/emails to Nationwide, Neither of which have I received a reply.
I chatted to *** several times on the phone and he ensured me he would resolve the issue. Admitting the discrepancy in contract was a fault on their end.
Recent phone calls are no longer returned and sent straight to voicemail. I have a record of emails, txt messages without a response.
We feel that we have been scammed and mistreated by Nationwide.
I have the emails & can forward on with our cont
Order_Number: BXXXXXXX
Account_Number: BXXXXXXX

Desired Outcome

Refund We understand that Nationwide Relocation Groups portion of the payment was $500. We would like the full amount refunded as we have had to pay unexpectedly more money at no fault of our own, and Nationwide Relocation Group LLC has in no way help solve our issues. There was a violation with our contract and absolutely no effort to correct the problem. I have requested from Black Bear their copy of the contract.

Nationwide Relocation Group Response • Jan 30, 2020

Mr., I apologize for the misstate that may have been made on behalf of Nationwide Relocation Group. Unfortunately if you have more items at the time of pick up, you will pay more to ship those items. So whether we had those items on the estimate or not, you still planned on taking those items with you. Its very common for our customers to have more belongings at pick up. The reason there wasn't a refund or some sort of reimbursement was because services were rendered completely by Nationwide Relocation Group and *** and there is nothing we can do if you have more items, once the movers arrive at the pick up location. I apologize for the inconvenience, and the miscommunication but we worked very hard to have you picked up in OR on the dates you preferred. If we were to reimburse every customer that had more items at pick up, we would not be in business. Being that this is the first time you moved with us, you will received 20% off your next move for a returning customer discount. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and potential miscommunication.

Customer Response • Feb 04, 2020

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)

Your response shows a complete disregard to the details of my complaint. Yet again the misunderstanding falls on your end.

The issue again:
I had the exact amount of items upon pick up from ***, as was agreed upon with Nationwide.

When *** showed up, they had an old copy of a contract which allowed for items (see attached contract - notice the date of email being Oct. 8th):
*1 Bed king with Mattress
*5 Medium Boxes
*1 Dresser, Double
*1 Mattress Double
*1 Sofa - 3 seat bed

The updated contract allowed as follows (please see attached - notice the date of email being on Oct. 11th) :
*1 Bed Frame
*1 Bed Headboard
*1 Bed King with Mattress
15 Medium boxes
*1 Dresser Double
*1 Mattress Double/Queen
*1 Sofa - 3 seat bed
I was told even with this update, there would still be plenty of room, even if I went over this amount, it would not change the cost. I did not go over on this amount and had this exact number of items.

Please also notice that *** have confirmed via email (attached) that the original contract with less items was the one sent to them. I am happy to forward on the full thread so you can open up the contract that I sent to *** for verification.

So, you have failed to answer these question for 3 months:

Why did *** have a different contract than the one agreed upon with Nationwide? (Note the discrepancy with the attached contracts). To which *** Moving Company wanted to charge me an extra $1200 for.

Why did your customer service representative, ***, fail to rectify the situation on the day of my move, and since that day, even though admitting fault over the phone at the breakdown of communication between *** and Nationwide Relocation?

Your attempt at an apology while trying to cast blame on my end to save public image, is an insult. Along with your 20% discount offer on a future move is a disgrace, as though that would make up for what has been a lack of professionalism, customer care and accountability .

You have taken up enough of my time, the last thing I want to be doing is issuing a formal complaint. However, I have given you multiple opportunities to make up for your mistakes, and I am stunned that you have now tried to take up a position of placing the blame on my end. Obviously failing to recognize that I have documented and now show proof of your mishandling.

You have done nothing to earn the $500 I have paid Nationwide Relocation for with this move and have caused numerous problems. I strongly request a $500 refund for poor service and added costs incurred on our end, at no fault of ours, as my attached documents have proven.

Customer Response • Feb 07, 2020

The response yet again from Nationwide Relocation pays no attention whatsoever to my complaint. Has failed to answer any of my questions, and worst off they have now tried to put the blame on ***.

We were more than pleased. The crew arrived early at 7:30 and worked until 5:00 pm. Every thing was packed wrapped and moved perfectly. Nothing was broken or damaged. The three men were courteous and professional. Very reasonable price. If we ever move again we will use them.

I had a great experience with this company. Had 2 guys show up on time, clean, friendly, strong. They were very efficient and fast in moving everything from the third floor of my apartment down to the truck. They brought plenty of tools and extra supplies, at no cost to me, and helped me maximize the time I had set aside for the move. I learned some new stuff from them, too. They were very professional and courteous, and at a good price point for me, and I would recommend this company to my friends and family.

Outstanding movers. I was very happy with the service I received. The movers wrapped everything up and additionally took apart the furniture. Then they put back the piece of furniture at the new location. I think the price was less than other moving companies, they created it very easy for me. Thanks, Nationwide Relocation Group.

Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. That was very kind of you, we try to do our best on every job. Happy Holidays!

Where do I start with this horrible company. I will try to keep this review short and to the point but there were so many things that went wrong I hope it doesn't get to long winded.
Incompetent, unprofessional and downright liars are the words to describe these guys. I partially blame myself for hiring them because I did not check the reviews first, in which I mostly always do, so lesson learned.
I was helping my son move from MN to CA and I received several estimates, but *** from Nationwide came in a couple of hundred $ lower and said the move would be between 7-10 days when everyone else said 3 weeks. I consider myself to be a smart consumer, but I did not see the bait and switch. BTW I supplied *** with a written list of ALL the items and sizes to be shipped. Moving estimate #XXX
The crew picked up the contents up and AFTER it was loaded in the truck, they said it would be an additional $800 more! The destination fee, fuel sur-charge and contents were all more. After arguing for 20 minutes they said to call *** the next day and it would all be straightened out.
Long story short I called *** and talked to him 8x in the next 3 weeks asking him what happened and why it was 35% more. I asked him several times to talk with his manager and owner. Ya know what I got? NOTHING. Not 1 call back or emailed explanation.
Well 3 weeks later the contents arrived in CA and I hoped everything was there and not damaged. Guess what? Out of 39 items, (1) box was missing (still have not received it), (1) TV was shattered and 21 other items were either broke or deeply scratched and yes I have pictures.
I called *** once again and told him I wanted to file a claim. He gave me the # of the claim department and I have called them 10+ times with no answer and no call back. Them I find out that the # was someones private #. He still refuses to give me the claim phone number!!
At this point my only choice is hope people read this review and not hire them. I will also file a complaint with the FMCSA and AMSA. Save yourself a lot a stress and hire someone else.
