Review: This is same loan with two different account numbers. One account number from Dept of Ed / Sallie Mae and another from US Dept of ED.

Sallie Mae or other words Navient, refuses to acknowledge that the guarantor being Dept of ED removed this loan due to FRAUD and that I owe nothing and Dept of ED removed it from my credit report. However, Navient still insists the loan is in default, won’t remove their duplication from my credit report nor contact National Student Loan Data Base to remove their info on their as well. From email I received from NSLDB it stated” We cannot make any corrections to your NSLDS record. The loan servicer or school is responsible for reporting accurate information to NSLDS. You should contact the loan servicer or school for information and assistance. To obtain contact information for the loan servicer or school, click on the number in the blue box next to the loan or grant type.” Sallie Mae/Navient is the servicer for a loan that the guarantor being Dept of ED has already agreed was Fraud and removed me from their system, I owe nothing and removed their info from my credit report. I started this process several years ago, hired an attorney etc. It was proven to be Fraud and the actual guarantor of the loan agreed it was Fraud and cleared their info from my name or any connection to it. Because of Sallie MAE, NAVIENT refusing to acknowledge this is the exact same loan that had two account numbers because of it being sold back to the guarantor, I have had to also already deal with another collection agency in which I again had to use CFPB to address. Which resulted in that collection agency closing their case and Dept of ED verifying I owed nothing due to it was already resolved as FRAUD. CFPB Case number: 150131-000120 “Explanation of closure

West received a letter from Mr. [redacted]'s attorney on January 12, 2015 and sent it to its client, ED for review. ED recalled the account from West on 01/27/15 and there was no correspondence sent to Mr. [redacted] after that date.”

Until Sallie Mae / Navient removes their info on something I already proven legally thru an attorney and already filed Fraud papers years ago I will continue to deal with collection agencies and a damaged credit report. (Sallie Mae/Navient has been provided the certified Fraud papers several years ago that they signed for by certified mail, and several copies of the proof that Dept of ED agreed and removed the case by my attorney providing them with the AFFIDAVIT they requested to remove me from the FRAUD.)

I have been dealing with this since year 2013, in which I initially started working with Sallie Mae prior to it going to Navient. Navient was provided a copy of the letter I have from Sallie Mae that says in short once proved Fraud just sent the info to our Fraud Section. Which I already did that. I have had to file CFPB cases in regards to the credit reporting, have had file FSAombudsmans office case, had contact NSLDB, had contact drghelp and Navient advocate as well. It is just amazing how many individuals and companies I have had to deal with to deal with what someone else did and after finally hiring an attorney to work with the company which is the guarantor of the loan which was DEPT OF ED and resolved the issue proving fraud and Dept of ED removed their items from my name and my credit report. That a company being Sallie Mae / Navient which is merely a servicer of the Fraud loan whom actually sold it back to Dept of ED, is refusing to remove their info on their website that has my name attached to it and refusing to remove their info from my credit report and from the NSLDB. Bottom line is I owe nothing to anyone which was proven and settled with Dept of ED who is the guarantor of that fraud loan. Every item, letter, proof of documentation has been sent either via email in which I have copies they have recieved the info, or by certified mail in which I have the returned SIGNED receipt they received the information.Desired Settlement: Not really sure how much clearer I can get to Sallie Mae/Navient that the guarantor being DEPT of ED issue of this loan being FRAUD has already been solved by working with attornies and Dept of ED already removed everything on their side that was or had any connection to me. That it is same loan, with two different numbers only because Sallie Mae/Navient sold it back to Dept of ED. I already proved it was Fraud to guarantor and can not understand WHY Sallie Mae/Navient can not seem to understand I owe nothing, nothing is in default and they need remove their info from National Student Loan Data Base and from my credit report.

I was only having the issue of them removing their info from my credit report, but as of their recent letter and rechecking into it, now their letter says not only I am dealing with issue of it being on credit report but them claiming it is in Default.

Loan is fraud been proven, they been provided proof several times.

Navient needs remove me from their system, REMOVE THEIR ITEM FROM MY CREDIT REPORT WHICH IS AT EQUIFAX and remove their info from National Student loan Data Base.

Review: I used to have Sallie Mae and paid off all the loans when I attended UOP in 2010 for associates degree. I did not claim any student loan for BS at University of North Georgia. Navient said, I owe them money through e-mail and phone calls, which I received 4 times already. One time I told one of the lady I do not owe them any money. I told her what year did get a loan for and she said for fall 2014. I told her I paid my tuition out of my own pocket that year. Then she said, "Did you create Navient account before and got a loan from us." I said, "No." She said she will call someone to do an investigation on a scam. Then 4 days later, I got a call from Navient asking for a #SSN by a man. All of the calls were from Pennsylvania.Desired Settlement: How do resolve this issue?

Review: I attended college at Everest College in their North Aurora location. I started in late summer of 2013. I attended this college because I was promised a hands on education, getting help from our case worker to find an externship for mandatory job training, and my certification exam paid for as long as it was before a year after graduation. Instead my last 4 or 5 months of school my class and I only had a teacher 2 out of the 5 days of class during the week, sometimes less depending on the month. (They were always laying teachers off so sometimes the teacher we had was not always a certified teacher in my program. I had to constantly check in on my case manager because they were not finding an externship for me. I had to send out a lot of applications on my own to get an externship. I also tried several times to have a meeting or get a phone call to the programs department chair to set up a date for my certification test. They were never able to set up a time for me to have a meeting with her, nor did I ever receive a phone call back after the many messages I left. I still have not gotten to take my test because they never helped me set up a date. I have been trying so hard to get in contact with Navient to get help with my loans and I am constantly getting an answering service.Desired Settlement: Many people in my class have gotten a letter in the mail stating that their loan is being reduced due to the Court charges against them. I hope because all I had not received from contract that my loan will be reduced or completely taken care of by Navient.

Review: I have been having difficulty finding a job since I graduated college with my MBA degree. Last year, I applied for an unemployment deferment which was approved until August 2015. In November, this company called Navient began contacting me stating my student loans were due in January 2015. I let them know that my deferment request was approved, and my payments are not due until August 2015. Navient began asking me to re-apply for other deferment options, and I refused as my deferment period was still active. I began researching this company because I thought maybe it was a scam at first. In March, I began receiving emails from Navient stating that my student loan payments are past due. I called Navient, and also uploaded the document showing that my deferment was approved and my student loans are deferred until August 2015. Navient completely ignored my document, and refused to adjust my payment due dates. Not to mention, the customer service representative was treating me like I was a piece of trash over the phone. She began requesting that my school send them a statment showing that I am enrolled at least part-time. This is not applicable! I graduated in 2013 with a Master's Degree, and the last thing I want to do is go back to school for a PhD when I can't even find employment where I can use my Master's Degree.Desired Settlement: Adjust my payment due dates to reflect the dates showing on the "deferment approval form". Stop contacting me until my student loan payments are due! I would prefer my student loans be sold to a different lender as I do NOT want to deal with a company who seems to have no idea what they are doing.

Review: I was contacted by Navient about limiting my personal information. But when I contacted them they stated I did not have an account with them and had to contact the original information supply, who they did not know, about limiting information sharing. I then asked them Not to share my information and was told they could not limit it but I had to contact the original information provider. How am I to contact some company I don't know??Desired Settlement: Since I have no account with Navient I want them to delete all of my information from their database!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: I spoke with a Navient customer service agent on Friday, January 2nd, 2015. I was informed that if I did not make a minimum payment of $885, by January 11th, 2015, my loans would be reported to the collections agency. I then proceeded to set up a payment for that exact amount on that exact date. Today, Thursday, January 8th, 2015, I proceeded to call Navient to move my payment to the 9th. I was then told two of my four loans were reported to the collections agency. I asked to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor proceeds to tell me the same thing the customer service agent told me. My loans were defaulted and sent to collections because I was late on my payment.

This is not the first problem I have had with this company. It is bad enough they offer no relief or payment plans when it comes to private student loans. The things this company does should be illegal. Because of the error of this customer service agent, my cosigners and my credit will be effected. THIS IS UNFAIR! SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE!Desired Settlement: Something needs to be done. Every time you call, you speak with a different representative. None of them are on the same page, and apparently none of them know what they are talking about. I am a college graduate with student loan debt I will be paying back for the rest of my life. They barely offer any help and are not helpful when you call. I am tired of getting false information. It is bad enough I am struggling to make the payments. Now I have to deal with incompetent people.

Review: I have school loans that are now serviced through Navient from Sallie Mae. I have spoken with Navient on numerous occasions in regards to my all my loans being deferred as paperwork has been submitted to the Army to pay my loans off. This does not happen over night! I have also asked for the department that handles this since I am in the military and the military is paying off my loans and no one can give me the department or department telephone number. I get numerous calls on my home phone from various telephone numbers everyday (as my wife states) and they are calling my phone everyday, all day. In this past week, I have received over 70 calls from Navient. If this isn't a form of harassment, I don't know what is.Desired Settlement: I want no further contact listed like the above extremity and my credit corrected as these loans should be deferred through the correct department.

Review: Navient (formerly sallie mae ) has been harassing me for years, I chose to ignore them because I received a loan from them to attend cosmetology school in 2008. After completing school I made many payments to salie mae and noticed none of these payments were being applied towards my debt.(I have proof of payments at home) I then called and they set up a new agreement which was fine with me until they started changing the "fixed" payment amount each month and then would charge a late fee after because the "full payment" was not received because they would change the amount even by a few dollars or cents therefore making it "late" because the monthly payment was not paid in "full." I was not happy with this and stopped paying since every time I called I got a different story. Now it has been almost 8 years since I received this $10,000 loan and it shows I have not made any dent in my debt with them. They have been non stop harassing me with phone calls and letters, which I understand but they will not deal with me and demand a large payment which I do not have. Now about a month ago they are calling my place of business and asking for me after I told them not to do this. One representative actually called and spoke to one of my co workers and exposed all of my financial situation to her and how much I owed them. Some have pretended to be customers, just to get me on the phone. They are non stop with threats of suing me and I am willing to pay but I can not give them what they ask for. If this is something you can help me with please do because I do not where to go from here. I know what they are doing has to be illegal and there is no way you can change payment agreements and take what you please from my account or call my workplace and talk to a co worker about my financial situation. I am not the only person this is happening to either there are thousands of complaints online and it just isn't right or legal.Desired Settlement: to set up a real payment agreement with a fixed rate, and only for my remaining debt .

Review: I recently became unemployed in December of 2014, I continued to pay my student loan bill on time in full each month. When I began to struggle with repayment of my student loan, I called and my only relief was to lower my payment by $100 a month. I recently called again to have it lowered or suspended for 3 months as I have still been unable to find a job and have no income. Navient refuses to offer any further assistance in my situation. They will not suspend my payment for 3 months while I continue to look for work and they will not lower them by any amount. I have no income whatsoever at this time. I am unable to make any payments at this time and their refusal to work with me not only puts me into further financial hardship, but will ruin my credit.Desired Settlement: I would like a 3 month deferment of my student loans and then a re-evaulation after the 3 month window has passed.

Review: Grettings,

NAVIENT (formerly SALLIE MAE) is calling at my workplace after BEING TOLD NOT TO DO SO.

- I CALLED NAVIENT BACK AND THEY DO NOT IDENTIFY THEMSELVES PROFESSIONALLY WHEN ANSWERING THE PHONE. THE RESPONSE I GET IS "HELLO, HELLO...!"

- THEY REFUSE TO WORK OUT REASONABLE TERMS WHEN ADDRESSING THE STUDENT LOANS THEY HANDLE.

- THEY CALL FROM PHONE NUMBERS THAT DO NOT SPECIFY THEY BELONG TO NAVIENT COMPANY.Desired Settlement: I want NAVIENT to conduct their business IN WRITING ONLY, professionally and settle the negotiating of the Student Loans I do have with them according to minimal acceptable professional standards.

Review: In 2004 I rolled my student loans over into my mortgage. Now after 10 years a totally different company is harassing me for money saying I owe 953.65. But elsewhere on the bill it says outstanding principal is 473.25 and 171.24. I feel this makes no sense and I just cant understand why after 11 years now I owe money I felt was taken care in 2004. I have no way to prove this as the bank I did it with has closed and my mortgage has been sold.Desired Settlement: They told me this will look bad on my credit. I don't need this grief. Are they even a legimate company ?

I would like for my loans to be transferred from this company. They do not have access to the National School Clearing house. I submitted a document, which is certified from my school that shows I am a current student. I faxed the document in and received a letter indicating that they could not accept my certified doc which is the standard that my school gives out that shows current enrollment certification. Also they sent an application that I have to fill out and my school that shows I am a current full time student. I told the rep I spoke with that my school is located in another city and is not close. I take classes at the campus in my same city I live in. It will be an inconvenience to drive to the main campus! The rep advise that he will put my account on some hold? He offered to email, he ended up saying he emailed the paper work to my school email. Checked my school email and did not receive email!!! I am not comfortable with a company that has my student loans that does not have access to Clearing house!!!

Review: Some of my student loans have recently moved to Navient(Sallie Mae), and I have been trying to contact them to set up a method of payment. The machine at the only phone number I have for them takes my Social Security number three times, then hangs up on me. I was also unsuccessful trying to set up a login account at their website. Upon that failure, the website directed me to call the same broken phone number for assistance. I've been faxing letters to them since December 18, requesting that they call me. Today is January 8, and my first payment is due, and I still have no way to make that payment. I don't even have an address to send a check to.Desired Settlement: I still need to make my payments, that's all. I'd prefer to set up an Automatic Debit arrangement. I also need assistance establishing a login for myself on their website so that I can manage my loans more directly.

Review: I took out student loans with the company Sallie Mae. I had no issues or problems with Sallie Mae and my loans were deferred due to being in school. Now that Navient took them over, I have had nothing but problems, harassing phone calls and demanding on payments. How can I make my payments when I only work 10 hours a week? Navient is demanding over a thousand dollars a month as my monthly payment. I am in school to get a better job so I can make my payments. When I asked for paperwork explaining all of the details of my loans, they refused to send it to me. They also refused to send me the paperwork that I signed stating that I understood there is a time limit on the in school deferrment. Since when is there a time limit? I asked them to work with me on the payments since I don't make enough to cover. I offered to make payments of $20 a month until I am able to make the payment amount that Navient is demanding.Desired Settlement: I want Navient to stop with the harassing phone calls, and send me detailed invoices about the loans I have with Sallie Mae. I also want them to officially defer my student loans until six months after graduation as stated with all of the lenders for student loans. I want them to understand that I am still in school and I will have no problem paying my loan when the time is stated when I signed the papers with Sallie Mae. I want Navient to leave me alone and once I graduate from school, I will be more than happy to start paying the loans as I would be doing if the properly deferred them in the first place. I also want Navient to be taken off of my credit report and my credit fixed to where it was before Navient screwed it and told the credit companies that I defaulted on my loans due to refusing to pay. I never refused to pay. Navient is the one who is refusing payment. I offered to pay something as opposed to nothing. I want my credit report fixed so it can be back where it was before Navient screwed it up.

Review: Sallie May was my student loan provider until sometime in the fall of 2014, then Sallie May became Navient. I had called Sallie May around 8/4/14 and spoke to a service person named [redacted]. She told me at that time that my loan had at least a 6-month grace period from 8/4/14, which would make the loan due sometime after 2/4/15. I received a call from Navient in mid-January, 2015 informing me that they had made my loan due in November and that they had sent an email informing me of this to [redacted] my old school email account that is no longer in existence since I graduated in May, 2013. I never received this email, nor did they send a letter to my mailing address informing me that my loan will be due in November. I called Navient on 1/20/15, paid the principle on my loan as I had planned to do before it ever came due, and filed a report with them asking for the interest that has accumulated to be waived considering they did not make a reasonable attempt to inform me that my loan would be due in November. They said that they will respond to the report in 7-10 business days via US mail. They did not respond to the report. I called them today, and they informed me that they chose to not waive the interest that has accumulated and have continued to add interest since 1/20/15. I request that all the interest be waived (now $434.59) on account of not having been notified that my loan will be due in 11/14 and having been told in 8/14 that my loan would become due in 2/15. Sending notification of loans becoming due to outdated school email addresses only is a poor business practice that may often allow this company to take advantage of new graduates. Also, Sallie May (now Navient) customer service misinformed me in 8/14 about when my loan would become due, which did not allow me to be proactive and call Navient in 11/14 because I did not expect notification until 1/15 that my loan would be due in 2/15. I was proactive by calling in 8/14 and was misinformed at that time.Desired Settlement: Waiver of interest that has accumulated on my student loan ($434.59) due to misinformation and lack of reasonable notification of loan becoming due

Review: Navient sent a notice that they were a part of Sallie-Mae and that they had made repeated attempts to contact me. The only contact I received from them was on the 29th of December it was dated the 9th of December that said I had to contact them by 30 which I did. They asked me and I quote" can you handle a payment of 400 and something" I told them I could not, then they asked "how about half that 200 and something"? I said what is the exact amount and was told they could not tell me that until it was processed, they didn't even send me a bill with any details. What I want is a detailed bill with exact amounts on it that I have a legal right to before I send some company money that I never herd of before. Also when I asked them if they could process it and call me back with the details they said they could not. Also they sent me emails, if they are a part of Sallie-Mae they should know I do not have and email I had to set the one up I gave you at a friends house because I do not have internet.Desired Settlement: I want them to send me and itemized bill and an exact amount for monthly payments to my house., no emails or phone calls.

Review: The amount due is from an old school loan with Sallie Mae. They changed the name of the company to Navient. At that time I requested an itemized statement-which I never received. I was also under a deferment. I then started working part time and make payments. I received one check back fro $125 from the U.S. Government. I have requested a statement several times during this process and have not received one. I then get a letter saying I am past due. I have also received correspondence from a company called ECMC - St. Paul, MN. I have written them several times also. My part time job ended approximately one month ago. The only income I have is my social security of about $1,160 a month. I have written and explained this also to them. I would like an itemized statement. I am also questioning the interest rate. I have received one letter with the balance and a rate of 8 per cent. The balance does not seem to go down.

Thank you for your help in this matter.Desired Settlement: I would like the itemized statement and as I am not working a deferment.
