We were very thrilled to order desks and a chair for our office however, we had no idea that we would never actually get the items We ordered them [redacted] , it is now [redacted] and for the last days after hours with customer no service we are still being told that it should be delievered today...oh did I mention minus the chair because they can not locate that so it will be [redacted] or so before we get that From what I can tell, the furniture delievery is outsourced and NO ONE can talk to them so when and if it gets here is up to the "Special Truck" They do have nice furniture but it does no good if it is not in my office.....so beware if you do order something If I do not get the desks by today, filling a complaint is my next step

Wow Where do you start with this place? Great facility, showroom, and sales people After the cash register, the greatness stops and the nightmare begins We ordered a table and were given a delivery date That day came and went and no call no show by anyone from NFM We call the next day and they forgot to tell us there was a manufacturer delay and that they weren't going to show...even though we waited all day for them The next delivery date was approaching, and after no call to confirm the delivery, we called them Reply: "Sorry sir We forgot to call." Whatever They show up to deliver\setup the table and show up with no tools to put it together...but they made sure to charge the $delivery\setup charge After weeks, our table falls apart We schedule a pickup to return it Customer service ASSURES us they will refund the table and take it away They showed up today to do so, and wouldn't you guess it? No freaking tools to take it apart It gets better, they ask where we want the "replacement table" What replacement table? We asked it be returned, not exchanged Nice...someone has a steady diet of lead based paint chips for breakfast Then I get a call this evening asking why I returned the replacement table After beating my head against the wall for having to explain this a 3rd time, I asked to be transferred to customer service to verify I was going to actually be refunded I was assured yet again that it was being refunded We'll see I voiced my concerns to the customer service agent and asked her to go through all these issues "that are tracked on my order", and was told she couldn't give me those details I guess it is against policy to confirm with a customer, that has already verified their account information, that they provide ridiculous service I asked for a supervisor, and was assured they were aware of "the problems they've been having for months and they are working diligently to correct it." You'd think after months being open, it would be corrected In any case, my advise is to clear your house of all firearms\ropes\sharp objects before you buy anything there Your family will thank me for helping to keep you around Happy to take your money, reluctant to provide product

I have spent over***K on furniture over the past months My initial purchase was fine, it was competitive and they delivered in a somewhat timely fashionMy second purchase, the furniture that I wanted, had to be ordered, so I had to pay the price they quoted, as it was special ordered It took weeks to get here and when they delivered it and had scratched it all up, I had to wait an additional weeks to get it replaced They installed arms on chairs on the wrong side and didn't know how to install other items, even though I paid extra for white glove service The final purchase, was again, a special order, so I had to pay the retail price and I went back to them, because I thought , surely, they couldn't get worse They damaged *K worth of home office furniture, they scratched my offices doorways, the two guys they sent out, could not get my doors (that they removed) back on the hinges, so I had to step in and do it and finally, they punctured a hole in my stucco front entrance of my house, when they were trying to get the furniture in my house Now they want me to deal with an insurance adjuster for the trucking company, because they contracted the delivery out! Yet, I didn't contract it out, I paid NFM, I did everything on my end , including installing my doors back I would strongly recommend that you run not walk away from this store I will gladly talk to anyone about why not to do business with this company I gave them three chances and they are by far, the most unprofessionally run company, I have every dealt with They refuse to give me the name of the store manager, the executive team or the CEO of the company Please listen to my story and make your decisions based on your ability to handle someone destroying your home

We went to [redacted] and [redacted] assisted us and we had the best experience everNever felt so comfortable buying a complete furniture living room setHe went above and beyond being honest about everything, pricing out all our variations and styles we were looking at and through all this explained step by step what he was doing ensuring we were getting the best dealNever pressured us, gave us time to think everything overGreat friendly personality with amazing story and characterI'm in the customer service business and it's people like this that bring success around and the reason for great businessesAdditionally he sent a thank you card that was very touching! [redacted] is the best salesman!

My experience with Nebraska Furniture Mart was great! They have worked with me in ways no other company ever has There are still humans behind the business here I will be a loyal customer of theirs for the rest of my life I ran into a pretty big snag when my fiance lost his job, and many years later this snag was really haunting our credit Nebraska saved the day, by giving us another shot, and we are homeowners now because they careI am so impressed with this company!

I purchased a bedroom suit along with office furnitureThe floor model was marked sold but was assured there were more in the warehouseI was told what pieces would be available for delivery and the mirror and master chest was on back order, fine! Upon delivery they brought the master chest, but couldn't set it up because they needed a four-man crewThey brought be the scratched up floor model instead of the new oneThey didn't have the slats to my bed so my mattresses are just housed on the floorAfter complaints they attempted to fix the problem and they soon they would be able to deliver would be ThursdayWe took of work expecting our slats and received the call saying they can't make it until the following SaturdayWell today is that Saturday on no slats againI've spoke with customer svcAsked for management, and asked to email the store in Texas' Director which I've yet to receive anything other than automated cookie cutter responsesI can't get passed the "I dunno's/ All I can do is make notes" Had I known this was their way of business practice I'd have taken my $**K elsewhere

We ordered a bedroom suite on October 22, and paid payment in full Nebraska Furniture informed us that the entire order will be delivered to our home on November 1, On October Nebraska informed us that they only have the bed, box spring, mattress and the dresser with the mirror available and that they will ship the chest of Drawers and the two side tables on November I called Nebraska Furniture and spoke to customer service, and explained to them that it is not acceptable and that I am very disappointed and frustrated with Nebraska's customer service who keeps on apologizing as if they are going to do something about Nebraska Furniture's broken promises and lies On November 1st, 2016, we received a bed and an incorrect mattress and box spring The driver who delivered the furniture gave us the incorrect mattress and I mentioned it to him, he then checks the truck again and finds our Mattress The driver also tried to deliver a Dresser which had a huge hole at the back of the dresser and the driver asked me whether I will accept it, I told him that I will not accept broken furnitureNebraska Furniture called again to change the delivery date and they are not sure when they are going to deliver all of our furnitureWe contacted the Manager who gave us the runaround saying that the vendor who was delivering the furniture to Nebraska Furniture missed the delivery date since they did not have the furniture ready Now we have to wait more weeks to get the rest of the furniture This behavior is inacceptable I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN! They are liars and are very rude sales people and uninformed delivery personal and customer service who do not know what's going on and these people don't care! Strongly not recommend this store!

NFM truly deserves a negative rating! We recently moved to Dallas area from another state and chose NFM to furnish our entire houseThe Sales team promised high on delivery schedule and product quality, but none of them really is true!! Once they help you buy the furniture's, they totally disappear and are of no helpWe were required to contact the customer service for every little issue regarding our delivery and the call to customer service would last for a long time trying to explain regarding the delivery delay or damaged item The initial delivery took almost 7-weeks and most of the products that finally got delivered were damaged and had to be sent backThe dilemma was that the damaged products took another 7-weeks to be replaced and the delivery teams most of the time were rude and did a clumsy job assembling the furniture'sAlso, they are not considerate towards the house being new and also ruined few of our walls when trying to place the furniture One of our Bedroom side tables had to be replaced times; as every time they sent a damaged product and the replacement would take another few weeks to arrive!! We tried reaching one of the Sales Manager regarding the issues that we faced, but it was of no help Relocating to a new state and shopping at NFM was the worse experience and would not recommend this store to anyone

I love the store and the selection! I can honestly say that 95% of everything in my home and business if from NFM, but I have recently had horrible customer serviceThe flooring manager was extremely rude to me telling me I was going around her to get the best deal which is not the caseIf she would do her job I wouldn't have to go around herShame on her for disrespecting the paying customerMonths ago I was told I would have same day delivery which I thought was great as it would take me two trips with my truckThe delivery company called me at 2:am to let me know they were on the wayI told them to take it back to the store and I would handle the following dayI called the following day and spoke with the manager who guaranteed me that this wouldn't happen again and he was very apologeticI drove and picked up my items that dayHe also told me the next time I need to purchase anything they would give me the absolute best price they couldThis week we got a bid for flooring in the store, I then called and spoke with the flooring manager to have her get me the best deal she possibly could and her price was higher than the sales rep gave us the day beforeI questioned her on this and she put the blame on me the paying customer for trying to go around her and the store to get the best dealWell you are right I was trying to get the best deal just as your manager that called me to apologize and make things right guaranteed me would happenNot only did they try delivering items to me at almost in the morning, but they the flooring manager has the nerve to call me out and and blame me for expecting to get as the store manager promised meUnfortunately I will not be doing business with them and will do everything in my power to make sure everyone I know spends their money elsewhereWe have plenty of locally owned places that would gladly take our businessYou have lost a very loyal customer

NFM failed to help us when our [redacted] dryer failed for the second time in quick successionWe have been left without the appliance for potentially three weeks whilst the parts are on back orderNo compensation for laundry chargesNo possibility of replacementIn fact, despite the repair company stating that the dryer will likely continue to fail as a more fundamental defect may exist [redacted] (warranty sold from NFM) will not entertain replacement until the fourth repair is orderedNFM sold us this warranty as the gold standard to protect us from product failure and did not emphasise the small print that allows [redacted] to repair over and over and then only at their discretion replace, not necessarily with a new machine but if they so wish, with a reconditioned oneNFM have washed their hands of responsibility and we as a family recommend strongly that you check their warranty terms scrupulously, lest you fall into the same trap that we havePoor after salesLong wait times on the phoneNo interest unless selling you somethingPoor, NFMSo very poor

I purchased a *** microwave in September It quit working yesterdayI call NFM today and the customer service department told they will return the item within days and told me to call ***I sat on hold for minutes and *** told me I have to take it into Kansas City which is an hour and minutes one way to a repair shopI call the repair shop and they will have it up to weeksThis is so much BS I can't believe itFor all the time and trouble as well as being without a microwave for up to two weeks I would be better off to throw it in the dumpster and go by another oneNFM DOES NOT AND WILL NOT stand up to their product hoping you will throw it away and buy a new oneI WILL NOT EVER shop at this store againWorthless absolutely worthlessI am sure no management would screw around with a broken microwave under warranty so why should I I want to return my microwave to NFM and get something other than a *** I rely on my microwave everyday and will have to go purchase another one to get me by until mine gets fixed and THIS IS NOT GOING TO WORK! Unacceptable I will not ever shop at NFM AGAIN!

Your interest free is misinforming the customer! I bought a sectional couch November 19, and was told I'm getting it for months interest free and my payment should be around *** dollars a monthI get my statement today it said payment of ***, I call NFM as was told no that's your minimum payment! The sales person was wrong customer service didn't care and I told them to pick it up!! So there picking it up next Monday, January I'm very disappointed with this situation and will tell all friends and family to beware of there so call interest free financing!

I bought several appliances from a sales person at the store and after that I spent around 1-hours about a treadmill in clearance and able to get sales person go back and forth with his manager to reduce its price reasonablyI was almost ready to purchase it with NBR warrantyNote that treadmill was in clearance for atleast weeksI came out of clearance section to check other models & price & realized that this model already has years of manufature warrantySo went back to clearance to finalize the deal with same sales person without NBR warrantyAt that moment, another sales guy was trying to sell it over to another person over phone(realizing another customer may pay higher with NBR warranty useless with this item)The minute I refused NBR warrantly, he got on the phone to confirm somethingThen after a min he told me, 'Sorry this is already Sold'What a display of dishonesty and unethical behaviorThey care more about sales than customer relationsVery Dissatisfied!

I and my wife living in KC for over years now visited NFM recentlyWe were looking for Bedroom and a Living Room Furniture and were treated fairly poorly at the storeI would recommend my fellow Kansas Citizens to not consider NFM @ Kansas City as an option when buying furniture or electronicsThey clearly don't care enough about customer experience and it was an awful experience we hadAsked the sales rep about her manager and she got rude pretty fastShe resisted calling her supv, telling me all about their schedule and other commitments
She said someone by the name of *** will be there to help and no one showed upGot to wait for over half hour and finally left the store without shopping and wasting any more time
Seems like NFM does not care at all to be courteous enough to old age peopleThe only thing they are concerned is cheap tricks of selling their below par merchandize and selling warranty on top of itIts a Shame

I ordered boxes of flooring as we are doig a basement remodelRecieved a call that the product I ordered was in and that I set up deliveryDelivery was set for the following dayThey show up its degrees outside and dropped boxes in my driveway, which blocked in my car but I paid for driveway delievery so thats fineI bundle up and start moving heavy boxes of flooring inThe first two boxes I moved into the house did not look quite right so I opened a boxIt was not what I orderedI was given boxes of the wrong productI call and am told that what I ordered was ordered incorrectlyNo one would be able to pick up the flooring for 4-hoursSo I was stuck in my house wih the wrong flooring for hoursI spoke with customer service who offered me $ off the boxes and then with a manager who became snarky with meShe stated hat she could not give me the product for free or even 50% off, none of which I asked forShe then stated that the money offered to me was more then fair for my day being wastedSHE WAS INCREDIBLY RUDEI have since cancelles my order because of this manager, they lost a full basement remodel as I will take my business somewhere else

Purchased living room furniture on a month no interest sale weekend During checkout, in which we were still unsure if we were going to purchase because we were unsure of the monthly payment, we were told by the sales associate that it would be around $**/month, and this would not pay it off by the end of months, but we pay extra at our discretion, albeit still make a payment every month Reasonable...ok, we'll purchase Get first bill, $*** Call NFM and for the first time we're told about 4% of balance is due every month, as if this is common knowledge Call manager, am told there are two screens at checkout, one which gives quote of monthly payment, but they never use that screen because it's always wrong My question: why is that screen even there Even in the best case scenario in our case, with the associate accidentally looking at/using the wrong screen, the customer loses and doesn't have the right information to make good decisions for usWorst case scenario is that this is common practice, and they have buideniabilitySketchy, sketchy

I ordered an washer on 11/28/and when I was about to check out and pick a delivery day (since it came with free delivery) there were not dates to pickI even scrolled all the way to but nothing was availableI opted to go pick it myself and selected 12/08/as the pick up date, which was the soonest availableAfter filling out a review after the purchase, I was contacted by a customer support associate and she apologized for the issueShe set me up with a delivery date of 12/12/but that was going to bee too late since I was leaving the countryShe then told me that I should call on the 8th and find out if the washer was in the warehouse so I can pick it up myselfI was okay doing this but when the 8th got there, the washer was not thereCalled numerous times and finally was told that it would not be offloaded from the trucks till the next day which was the 9th and thee day I was supposed to be heading outThis seems to be a trend with NFMEverything that I have bought from them seems to have one issue or anotherThey claim that the delay is on the vendor side ( i.e *** in my case) but I really don't think soOn the same day I ordered the washer, I ordered a dryer from *** which was a *** as wellGot it delivered on the same day that they said it would be there plus *** gave me a call a week in advance to make sure I was expecting a dryerNo delays or anythingNow I might have to buy another washer past black Friday so I can avoid any inconvenience

I went to *** and picked up a kitchen table and chairs that we really liked after owning this for a few weeks I noticed the legs on the table and chairs were gettting looseAfter noticing I was told that they needed to order hardware and try that nefore exchanging the table it took weeks to get the hardware and another days to get someone out here to try and change it once changed a week later hardware came looseI was made to take a deduction in the amount credited since it was past days even though it took over a month to get new hardwareI went and choose a new table they sent it with a cracked leg and two of the chairs had bolts so tight the backs were splitThey then brought another one and now the backs on all the chairs are loose and it is going to take over a week for me to get my money back so I can take my business elsewereThat was just one issue with them the other one was I purchased a changing table and they brought it assembled and we took saran wrap off of it and the top drawer completely fell apart so I call and they bring me another one except in the box and tell me they dont assemble those anymore

My complaint is with the delivery deptfirst time they canceled my scheduled delivery because it took more time to them to deliver other items and it got to late to deliver mine, really..? Second time they wanted to deliver me a dented and scratched refrigerator,come on....two times had to emptied my old fridge for over hours of wait
plus I had to take time off from work to meet the delivery, today is Friday and now I have to wait until Tuesday and take time from work to meet them, I guess I won't be buying from them anymore

NOTE: NFM only will cover their sold product(s) for 30 days. Most retailers stand behind their products for a minimum of 90 days. Buyer beware, there are no checks and balances and the sales people do not always tell the truth
