Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 8, 2014/09/03) */

We'd like to send someone out to assess the issue Does a certain time work best?

Mr [redacted] did not file the complaint, his son Mr [redacted] ***However, we are wiling to work with the concerns that Mr [redacted] has and are going to work resolve and address all the issues in the complaint

Complaint [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] Once again you cherry pick my complaint and respond in order to make NRC look as if they have been more than fair and that I'm unreasonable I have read your responses over and over and you have the same flaw in all of themYou ignore stated facts and you never admit to any wrong doingAlso had you read my response I never said it was on the contract to replace the awning, I said it its on the final payout the check stub and statement from the insuranceThe ONLY difference between the contract and the final paymentBut...according to you that's on the insurance, they got it wrongAll that aside facts still remain, which you continue to ignoreFact, [redacted] met with insurance rep, came to an agreement, and explained to my wife and myself the insurance payout would pay to tear off and replace the roof and flat rubber roofThe insurance rep agreed to cover replacement of siding on three sides but [redacted] said the payout was high enough to cover doing all sides including insulation board and vapor wrapIt would also cover replacement of all aluminum fascia and drip edge but not the window wrapWe could pay for that separately, but decided to paint insteadAlso we asked who would get the permits because we are unincorporated, and [redacted] said NRC would pull all necessary permits and it was included in the estimateHe also explained as I stated before that the supplement was to cover any damage not visible before the work started(decay/rotting wood or underlying water damage) you found none of these ergo no supplementsFact, I am not asking for more than I was told and NRC didn't do anymore than I was toldFact, I'm not asking for $the difference is $Jon as a person who I assumed understood the English language I'm baffledYou wrote to me: “As a man who's been in construction for years, I would assume that you would understand for us to install your siding, we would need to take down your awning, install the siding, and then reinstall your awningIn addition to that, you are asking us to reimburse you almost $for the awning, when all that's listed on the estimate is a little over $300.” Is this your attempt to settle with me? If so you're way too lowJust so you know I'm not angry I'm writing in CAPITALS because obviously you're not understanding what I'm sayingPay attention because here's the fact AGAINI TOOK DOWN AND REINSTALLED THE AWNING NO ONE AND I REPEAT NO ONE FROM NRC OR ANYONE WORKING AS THEIR AGENT DID THATEven if its true that you requested more money from the insurance for removal and replacement of the awning YOU DIDN'T DO THE WORK! YOU DONT DESERVE THE MONEY! How hard is that to understand? You wrote: “One of your initial gripes was that the final payout from the insurance company was higher than the contract you signedAlso that there was work that we never performedAll I stated was that in your initial contract, we stated that we would be owed any insurance supplements as part of your final balanceWe never hid thatAn insurance company will not just allow us to "pad" the total and stick in our pocket as you make it out to beThere are items that get billed after the initial estimate that are part of your home repair that we need to recoupieattach and reset of awning, cost of permits, and many othersGripes? Don't you mean concerns? and as far as padding the bill how would they know they don't come back to checkThey weren't here while the work was being done, but I wasSomething else to be aware of NRC sent the insurance the final bill with supplements before the job was completedYet you want me to believe you don't add anything to the bill that's not actually doneYou wrote:“You continue to call me names and make accusations against our company that are and without merit.” Seriously? Go back and READ not once have I called you a name or accused you or NRC of anything I can't proveYou on the other hand have continually questioned my ability to comprehend what you are saying by casually insulting my intelligenceThat and the fact that you keep saying that you did everything and more as if you are going out of your way to do your job the job you said you would doYou also wrote:“I do not take it the wrong way because you again have shown that you are an unreasonable person to deal with.” [redacted] I am beyond reasonableIf I were unreasonable you would have already been contacted by a lawyer or the media to deal with thisInstead I keep hoping you will see the error of you ways and just reimburse what is mineYou wrote:“We are always more than fair and if there is something we owe you for, we will absolutely make goodUnfortunately at this time, i'm unaware at what that is exactly.” Pay attention because here's the fact AGAINI TOOK DOWN AND REINSTALLED THE AWNING NO ONE AND I REPEAT NO ONE FROM NRC OR ANYONE WORKING AS THEIR AGENT DID THATEven if its true that you requested more money from the insurance for removal and replacement of the awning YOU DIDN'T DO THE WORK! YOU DONT DESERVE THE MONEY! How hard is that to understand? You found no rotted or decayed structure so no supplements neededNo additional money to NRC because no additional work was performed [redacted] you like to pat yourself on the back as to how good are “We have done everything we've stated we'd do per our contract with you and more.” yet weeks after completion the extra material Roberto said he would pick up that Friday is still setting on my side patioFinally, as I said in my last response send me a check to reimburse the over payment and we can put this to bedQuit telling me to call you to explain why I think there's an over paymentYou know whyI have explained it more than adequatelyI can't help it you don't understandSincerely [redacted] Sincerely, [redacted]

We have been in touch and are working diligently to address Mr***’s concerns I spoke with him on Friday and there is a crew out at his home this morning

Mr***I do not take it the wrong way because you again have shown that you are an unreasonable person to deal with Had you actually read my response, you would have seen that we never requested
any awning from your insurance company So I'm not understanding your response that it was not delivered with the initial delivery or we never communicated that it was back ordered?? Of course it wouldn't be because we never ordered it or asked for it All we asked was the cost to detach and reset your current awning so that we could install your siding As a man who's been in construction for years, I would assume that you would understand for us to install your siding, we would need to take down your awning, install the siding, and then reinstall your awning In addition to that, you are asking us to reimburse you almost $for the awning, when all that's listed on the estimate is a little over $ I then asked you to give me a call to discuss because it's obvious that we are not able to get on the same page through this conversation, yet once again, you continue to argue and make accusations through this chain rather than simply calling to discuss One of your initial gripes was that the final payout from the insurance company was higher than the contract you signed Also that there was work that we never performed All I stated was that in your initial contract, we stated that we would be owed any insurance supplements as part of your final balance We never hid that An insurance company will not just allow us to "pad" the total and stick in our pocket as you make it out to be There are items that get billed after the initial estimate that are part of your home repair that we need to recoup ieattach and reset of awning, cost of permits, and many others. You continue to call me names and make accusations against our company that are and without merit We have done everything we've stated we'd do per our contract with you and more At this point I will not be sending out any sort of check until we have a discussion on the phone and you explain to me what you feel we owe you for We are always more than fair and if there is something we owe you for, we will absolutely make good Unfortunately at this time, i'm unaware at what that is exactly You asked us to come out and complete the repair and we did that Now you're asking me to send you a check and I'll I ask is that you call me and explain what it is for Again our number is *** *** and i'll be available all day tomorrow I can also call you if you'd like to give me a time that works. Thanks,***

Complaint* ***
I am rejecting this response because: *** is lying, he only reached out and left a message once. My wife has made numerous attempts contact him.
Sincerely,
*** ***

I spoke with Ms*** this morningI sincerely apologize for the lack of communitcationAs of today, we will be releasing ourselves from this claim immediatlyThank you

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
The company still did not complete the inside rooms. The gutters...

were completed after 6 months, however the old gutters are still in my yard and there is a disposal fee on our bill. This is the second time they left a mess after a job and listed a disposal fee. We had to dispose of them ourself before being charged by our village. I'm still very unsatisfied with this company and they have been in touch with me as mentioned, but only because I've been calling them.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/09/10) */
The insureds claim was only approved by their insurance company for half of their roof. We did feel confident that we could get the other half of the roof approved but after a year of negotiating with the insurance company we were unsuccessful...

on getting the other half of the roof approved. Our original fee for adjusting the claim was $912.50 which is to be paid out of the insurance proceeds only. In attempt to be fair since we did not get the full roof but only half of the roof approved we proposed cover our costs incurred in adjusting the claim we originally $750.00but after negotiating with Ms McDuffie we reduced our fee to $500.00 and she has agreed to that amount.
In regards to validity of the contract just so that we are on the same page anyone that is on the policy or their spouse is able to sign a contract as they are covered on the policy the same as the person who is on the policy.
As of today 9-10-15 we have come to a resolution with Ms [redacted] and Ms [redacted] We have requested that the check from All State be reissued to the insured so that they can take the ACV money from their claim to do the repairs on their property.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2015/09/21) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I'm sorry it was my mistake..not the Vice President but your field Manager [redacted]and when they brought the 10 yard dumpster it was dropped in my driveway and it broke the bricks.. He tells me that they were already done and I'm making it up..ive spoken with him 2 different occasions and was told he would get back to me. I would like someone, NOT [redacted] to come here and look at this so it can be fixed..or take money off my bill..
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Thanks for your message.  I actually spoke to your wife yesterday and am currently looking into this issue.  I'm sorry for the delay but will follow up later today. Thanks,[redacted]

Hello,If there is an issue with a roof we installed we will happily fix the issue.  From your email it seems they came out to fix some but not all?  I don't understand why they wouldn't fix any issues while they were there but feel free to contact us at your convenience and we'll work to...

rectify any issues with the roof.  You mentioned that we broke your driveway with the dumpster?  I'm not exactly sure what that means but would be happy to discuss and get a better understanding to what you are referring to.  We do not have a vice president of sales so i'm not sure who you've been dealing with but I apologize if you have not received a call back.  My name is [redacted] and I'd be happy to discuss any of this further with you. Thanks

Mr. [redacted]I recommend talking to your wife before calling me names.  Not only did I leave a message last week, but when your wife called and left me a message late last week, I returned her call and left another message on Friday evening.  I again followed up with her yesterday and finally got her on the line.  I made an appointment to come to meet with her on Monday at 2.  I hope you have a good day.[redacted]

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2014/09/03) */

We'd like to send someone out to assess the issue.  Does a certain time work best?

We will send someone out to take a look at the driveway and be in touch soon. Thanks

Mr. [redacted] did not file the complaint, his son Mr. [redacted]. However, we are wiling to work with the concerns that Mr. [redacted] has and are going to work resolve and address all the issues in the complaint.

We’re a little surprised with the Revdex.com complaint we communicated with her as much as she could per her comments on the complaint. We tried to bring her up to speed and also explained the process since her insurance company only approved a small amount of damages on her property.  Mrs. [redacted] was...

explained the process and where the $965 (or $964.39) came in which is the public adjuster fee from the contract that she signed.  She cashed refund checks which is another acknowledgement that she understood the process.  At this point we can’t negotiate the public adjuster fee but we can address any concerns or questions she may have regarding the process. I will revisit her claim and follow up with her.

There is no excuse for the handling of her claim only that [redacted] is no longer with the company and Ms. [redacted] insurance company did not agree to an appraisal. At this time I have left a message for Mrs. [redacted] to call me back, we will gladly work with her to find a reasonable resolution to her claim....

The goal is to rectify and work with Mrs. [redacted] in any way we can.   Thank you. [redacted]
