I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. Their response of using my complaint of pressuring customers as a training guide to ensure that it does not happen in the future is a good response. When I am in for vehicle cheI will be observing their sales personnel with potential customers. Thank you
Regards,
*** ***

I am rejecting this response because: Permits were only pulled AFTER I called the city to have an inspection. I was informed by the building inspector that no permits were pulled and Neil Heating and Air Conditioning was NOT licensed to operate in MaplewoodThe building inspector called Mr*** and told him to acquire the proper permits and licenseMr*** then tried to tell me I was interfering with city permitsHe was double fined for not pulling proper permits at time of install and he tried to charge me for that fine! He is adolescent in his name calling and libelI will not take down my forthright reviewsMr.*** still does not take accountability in his unethical business practicesI am satisfied with the warranty company's decision to terminate Mr.***'s contract and taking responsibility for any charges that Mr*** has tried to bill me for

Our Sales Manager, Terry F*, spoke to Mr*** this am and here is what he relayed to me He did want to buy an extended warranty at time of purchase. AI spoke with Maddy and when I mentioned Mr *** name he remembered much of the transactionHe
explained to the customer that the bank had conditioned the approval to a limited amountWhich would require cash down in order to purchase and extended warrantyMr *** apparently understood this and was advised he had some balance of factory warranty left BMr *** came in approximately weeks later with a battery concern, per his comments he was told his warranty expired days prior and he would have to pay 185.00 for a replacementHe chose not to purchase the batteryMy conversation with Maddy has him recalling Mr *** coming back to him and asking about an extended warranty againMaddy explained he reminded Mr *** that it would require cash to qualify and he again declined and acknowledged their previous conversation requiring cash down. CMr *** replaced the battery at a later date for approximately the same price we quoted him in serviceI asked him to email the receipt and I would seek reimbursement for the cost of the batteryI also explained the even with an extended warranty most if not all companies do not cover batteriesHowever as a good will gesture we would refund the replacement cost. Mr *** did not express any other mechanical concerns during our conversation regards, Terry F* Sands Chevrolet Glendale

Our Sales Manager, Ernest H***, spoke with Mrand Mrs*** this morningSands has agreed to issue a check in the amount of $to *** *** as customer goodwillCheck # *** was issued today and Mrand/or Mrs*** will be picking it up this

Mr*** brought his Pontiac Grand Am in on December 26, (164,miles) requesting to have the crankshaft relearn procedure performedThis procedure is required anytime a crankshaft sensor is replacedThe price was quoted to Mr*** and he agreed to move forwardUpon attempting the relearn procedure the engine control module did not recognize the crankshaft position sensor as being plugged inThe technician inspected the sensor and noted that the wiring had been repaired however not done so in accordance with General Motors required wiring repair procedures (solder wires and heat shrink)The crankshaft position sensor was unplugged and the resistance of the sensor was checked to verify no open or short was presentUpon receiving authorization from Mr*** the technician properly repaired the crankshaft position sensor wiresOnce the wiring was repaired at the crankshaft position sensor it was now showing plugged in on the engine control module display screenThe sensor was successfully learned and the vehicle was released back to Mr*** on December 27,Mr*** returned to Sands Chevrolet service on January 23, (164,miles) indicating that the crankshaft was no longer learned in the engine control moduleUpon inspection the crankshaft position sensor was present in the engine control module display however again would not learnUpon inspecting the wiring at the engine control module it appeared that the signal wires from the sensor to the engine control module were brittle and may be causing an intermittent erratic signalThe technician recommended replacing the entire circuit from the engine control module to the crankshaft sensor in order to prevent future erratic signal and loss of communication from the sensor to the engine control moduleMr*** approved the repairs and once again the sensor was successfully learnedUpon test driving the vehicle the technician detected a trouble code set for loss of signal from the crankshaft sensorThe technician inspected the harness that he just replaced to confirm all connections were validatedAll connections were valid so the technician cleared the code and attempted a second test driveThe code set once again for loss of signal from the crankshaft sensorThe technician narrowed down that the crankshaft sensor was now failing under higher RPM (revolutions per minute, higher engine revving) which was causing this codeThe technician replaced the sensor with a new OEM GM crankshaft sensorThe new sensor quickly learned and upon test driving the vehicle did not set any fault codesUnfortunately the repairs performed were all justified based on separate specific failures foundThe vehicle was driven for miles after the first repair and the second repair was needed based on two separate failuresI understand Mr***’s concern however this is not unusual for an year old vehicle with 164,milesAs a gesture of goodwill we will offer Mr*** a $credit to be used at either Sands Chevrolet location for parts, service, collision, or the purchase of a vehicleWe hope to retain Mr*** as a customer and that is the only reason we offered this creditBased on the facts provided nothing more is owed to Mr*** at this timePlease feel free to contact me if you need any further information about this matter. February As previously stated this person has nothing better to do than to try and harass and cause trouble !!!! # the City of Maplewood inspected the installation and the installation passes ALL STATE AND LOCAL CODES!!! The fact that she STATES Neil Heating & A.CInc, is NOT licensed and does Not have a permit just proves beyond doubt that is not only a trouble maker but she is also LYING !!!!!! Also the warranty Company did NOT pay us the FULL AMOUNT THAT SHE OWES-THEY WILL PAY A PORTION OF THE FULL AMOUNT --SHE OWES! she still has an outstanding balance of $125.16.. THE LICENSE- IS ***PERMIT # 18-***PASSED INSPECTION ON FEBRUARY COPY OD "PASSED" PERMIT ATTACHED . NEIL HEATING & A.C.INCwe HAVE NEVER "MDDE ANY THREATS OF ANY KIND TO THIS MANICAL WOMAN ! WE HAVE STRONGLY ADVISED HER TO CONTACT AN ATTORNEY SO THAST SHE WILL UNDRSTAND OUR LEGAL RIGHTS.. WE ARE PURSUING LEGAL ACTION AGAINST HER FOR HARRASSMENT AND MAKING SLANDEROUS REMARKS ABOUT MY SELF AND NEIL HEATING & A.CINC

An extensive amount of time was invested to replace wiring that was improperly installed by Mr***Non automotive wires were used by him to replace the factory wiring when attempting to repair the vehicle himselfThere were also non automotive wire connectors used in certain portions of the harness which create excessive resistance in the circuitsThe vehicle was brought back and forth a few times in attempt for Mr*** to repair his own vehicle (replacing his own parts and making inferior wiring repairs)All charges billed to Mr*** were justified (less than what should have been billed based on clock time, see clock time record below) and his vehicle was repaired for the concern he brought it in forThe store credit offer to be used in sales, parts, service or collision center was only offered as a gesture of goodwill and not for any wrong doing by Sands ChevroletNo other offer or refund will be made at this time by Sands ChevroletPlease see the attached repair order sign in with the specific disclaimer of diagnosis and the invoice signed understanding and agreeing the charges billed. Derek H***

On four occasions we were forced to come there immediately interfering with our day and jobs scheduledWe only charged trip charges and think there is more than fair since Sands is the one ingratiating this whole processWe also never received a second set of keys which we had to have made and no book that you usually get when you buy a new vehicleFor 54k for the vehicle I think we should get more than one set of keysAfter several requests for such, the answer we got was they would order itNothing but an inconvenience to usWe feel a check for the sum of $made out to Crystal Clear Plumbing is fair and adequate..*** * *** (owner of Crystal clear plumbing)

Ms*** purchased her vehicle at Van ChevroletThis vehicle was a evidently a previous GM Service Loaner vehicleOnce the vehicle was placed into loaner service program, the "In-Service" date would start the term of the warranty. Ms*** did not understand that the factory
warranty timeline had alrready started on the vehicle when it went into the service loaner programMs*** agreed to have the work done with a deductible and upon picking the vehicle up her daughter became upset and said that they should not have to pay based on their contracted dateSands has done nothing wrong and we just cannot cover the repairs at 100% as it's out of warranty by five months. Sincerely, Derek H***Sands Motor CompanyService Director

Our Service Director, *** ***, has spoke with Mr***Sands and Mr*** have come to an agreement of doing the fan repairs at employee costUnfortunately, with the age of the vehicle and a discontinued product (Pontiac) there is no assistance available through GMMr*** will contact Mr*** for a appointment to complete the repair.Thank you for choosing Sands!Have a great day!

*** *** negotiated for three days on a Chevy Spark which had a 20% Customer Cash incentive availableMr*** stated he had his own financing and refused to give credit information and qualify for financing to take deliveryDue to the large rebate and short inventory, Sands policy is
not to hold the inventory without a cashable contractWe offered that option to Mr*** upfrontUnfortunately, Mr*** chose not to take delivery or sign a contract and the vehicle was sold by the New Car department before Mr*** returned with his funds Sincerely, Jerry M***Sands Motor CompanyDealer Operator
