Review: Ordered a bottle of face cream for S&H $4.95. Then I was charged $89.76 for them sending an automatic shipment of the product, I called for a RMA # and full refund and they refused to give it.Desired Settlement: Give the full refund

Review: At the very least, this company engages in false, deceptive, misleading and unfair advertising - and that's without knowing anything else about their other business practices, which are also likely to be very questionable going by the experience I had with them. I was directed to their website (I do not remember from where) for a "free trial" of their face cream, which included a $4.95 shipping and handling charge. No problems so far... the trial product arrived in a few days. However, while free trial is prominently slapped all over their website, what is NOT disclosed or revealed anywhere on their website was the fact that this is not really a free trial - it really is an automatic enrollment in their auto-shipment program, whereby they ship you the same product every month and charge you $90. In addition, in order to cancel, you must not only call them at the provided number, but also have to physically return to them (at your own cost, of course) any unused portion of product from the "free trial" that was shipped to you at the cost of $4.95. Failing this, you will still be charged $90 for the product that was shipped to you, regardless of whether you cancel the auto-enrollment. It actually even gets better than that - if you do call them up to cancel or complain, they offer that you can keep anything that was already shipped to you for "only" $40. If this is not a scam, I don't know what is. In fact, after going through this experience, I checked on the internet, and there is a plethora of exactly the same complaint from a LOT of other people. As consumers, we would all really appreciate some very strong action being taken against this company, so that they are not able to put any more of us through the same aggravation.Desired Settlement: Obviously, I would like the refund of $90 that was posted to my credit card (and I will be disputing that charge as well), but in addition, I would also like the company's false and deceptive advertising to be discontinued immediately.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and am now able to confirm the refund that I had requested as part of the complaint.

Sincerely,

Review: I recentley saw an add online about the BioGenist product. I click on the button for a "RISK FREE TRIAL"! Nowhere in the add did it say anything about 14 days to cancel or the price of the item at all. It led you believe that the product was free for the "RISK FREE TRIAL"....said absolutely nothing about payment or price.

I just saw my credit card statement and found a charge for$89.67 and called them. I young girl answered and saw that I was upset and was very disrespectful to me. She argured that I must have clicked on the terms and conditions, because I got the product. I told her that I did not see anywhere, a box to check for terms and conditions and that nothing in that add stated the price of the produce, nor that I had 14 days to cancel. I demanded a refund and she gave me a$20 and some odd cents and cancelled my future orders.

This, in my opinion, is false advertising and I want a full refund for this product.

The add also stated that you had to use a companion product in order for this product to work, so I opted for it also. Thus, another $89 and some odd cents on my bill. I have contacted these people at Newbi and they refer me to a number for cancellations. This number cuts off after a few rings.

I will file a separate complaint for them, if I can find the company. I went to [redacted] and did not find them.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund for this product that was supposed to be a FREE TRIAL!!! Any future automatic orders (which I knew nothing about) has been cancelled. I would like the companion product that was in the add, to be refunded and cancelled, also.

Review: Web site disguises it's 14 day only 100% satisfaction guarantee by hiding the details in the "Terms and Services" while they have a prominent picture on the front guaranteeing your satisfaction without showing the time limit. Also, they do not place the information that when you purchase the "free trial" product that it is actually a subscription plan that kicks in in 14 days. You have to specifically read all the "terms and services" to find out that you aren't getting a free trial but a delayed payment.

While this company might meet legal requirements to allow them to do this, it is close to scamming people out of their money as you can get. When I called to cancel the "salesman" kept trying to "give" me "free trial" memberships to other programs requiring me to call in and cancel. That seems to be their business model. Feeding off those who may not know or might not call in to cancel in the limited 14 day "trial" and be charged for a membership or trial at least once before they realize they have been taken.Desired Settlement: I want them to prominently display that the "free trial" is limited to 14 days AND that they are signing up for a membership that must be cancelled within that time. By "prominently" I mean on their main site neat the "100% Satisfaction Guarantee"

Review: The marketing practices this company has take unfair advantage of consumers. I signed up for a trail of their NO2Maximus product. I received the product and then cancelled my subscription online as I did not wish to receive any more. I paid for the product I received. The following month, the company charged my account and sent me more product. This time I called them. They offered to refund me for the product if I return it, minus their shipping costs.... I don't think this is necessarily fair as it creates an extra burden on me for my time to return a product I previously cancelled and then money out of my pocket for shipping expenses I shouldn't have to pay. But what really bothers me is that the phone representative, [redacted] - employee #[redacted], continued to try and offer me free trials for other items despite me telling her I wasn't interested and that I don't want my account charged for anything more. She did this twice and I finally had to hang up the phone because she wouldn't take "no" for an answer.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is as follows: 1. I paid for the first month of product but I want the full $95.86 charged to my account (after I already cancelled online) for the second month of product to be refunded to my account. 2. I will gladly return the second month of product erroneously shipped to me if the company pays the shipping for its return. 3. I want the high pressured, misleading, "free trial" offers to stop taking advantage of consumers either because they don't know better or don't want the hassle of having to argue about returning or cancelling something.

Review: My bank account was charged prematurely for the full price of the product that I was supposed to be able to try for 14 days and cancel if I was not happy with the results.Desired Settlement: I called to cancel the product before the 14 days were up, but they had already charged my account. I feel this was an extremely deceptive practice.

Review: In October 2015, I took a survey online. ( I don't remember the name of the company I did the survey for). At the end of the survey I was told to select a product as a gift for doing the survey. There was about 20 different items to choose from, anywhere from toys, to flashlight to winkle cream etc. I choose the winkle cream. I did have to pay $4.95 for shipping. At no time was I told it was for a trail period. Just was my free gift. My [redacted] was charges on October **, 2015 $4.95 for the shipping cost.

On November *, 2015 My [redacted] was charges again for $89.76. And again on December *, 2015 for $95.71.

On October **, 2015 I had a total knee replacement and didn't look at my charge card or call the company about the November charge. On December *, 2015 my card was charges again and on December [redacted] I received another bottle of the product. On December [redacted] I returned the product and they credited my card back $89.76 on December **, 2015. My dispute is over what I was told was a free gift and charged for on November *, 2015. I have called the company once in December to cancel this ongoing charge and twice today January * 2016 to try to get this problem fixed. Today was told there was nothing they could do because I didn't return the gift with in 7 to 14 days. (Why would I return a free gift.?) She said they don't give out free gifts only trial periods. I called again tonight to ask how they got my name and number, address etc. and she told me I ordered it online on there website. I told her I have never been on the website. Then she said sometimes they do work with other companies give out small bottles for people to try but that I would be charges for not returning the bottle. Told her I could return it no problem, she said it was too late. And that there was nothing she could do for me and she hung up on me. .

Please let me know what else I can do and what you will be able to do for me.

I really appreciate you taking the time to read this.

Sincerely

Review: Signed up for a trial offer for this product. They advertised this as a [redacted] approved product which is not true. I called to see if they would automatically mail me monthly products and Bob at this ####-###-#### said yes for $99.00 per product. I said I did not want the product and he then offered me the product for 1/2 price. I said not interested. He said then I would have to pay for the trial product which I received. I called again today and Kenda said I could mail the product back to them with in 7 days to avoid the $45.00 per product charge on my credit card. I feel this advertised product was misleading because it never said I would be obligated to a monthly refill at this $95.00 per product charge nor did it say I would have to mail this trial offer back in order to avoid a full monthly charge. They have my credit card information so I called my credit card company and I had to cancel my card in order to avoid addition charges for this product. Also, when I went online to order this "trial offer" it stated shipping would be $2.99 for each product. My credit card was charged $5.39 from Biogeniste and $8.66 from HydravellaDesired Settlement: The credit for shipping charges plus discontinue any additional contact or billing.

it was a scam and I was reporting them to the Revdex.com. I sent the product back, having to pay for the shipping costs, and I want to make sure they refund my $95.71.Desired Settlement: Take the $95.71 off my credit card and do not send anything else to me

Dear Revdex.com,We refunded this customer's $95.71 purchase today, as requested.Best regards,NetMarkets LLC

Review: I saw a promotional ad online in mid-August 2015 about the Bio Geniste product” Anti-Wrinkle Serum with Matrixl” together with a cream made by Hydravella. I clicked on the button for a "RISK FREE TRIAL" of these two products advertised at the price of $4.95 and $7.95 respectively. This ad did not include anything about a 14-day period during which I would have to cancel any future shipments of the same products. Hence, I was unaware that they would be billing me for the same products over and over until I contacted them to complain about my credit card being charged by this company on the dates and in the amounts of as follows:

August **, 2015: $4.95;

August **, 2015: $7.95;

August **, 2015: $89.76;

Sept. *, 2015: $89.96;

Sept *, 2015: $81.50;

October *, 2015: $95.71, and

October *, 2015: $99.63.

For a total of $469.46

I discovered these charges today because I received another tube of the BioGeniste product and began searching closely for other similar charges, which all differ thus making them harder to track as a scam that has same amount recurring unauthorized charges. I called the BioGeniste Customer Service today. Their telephone representative who took my call (ID given was #[redacted]) stated that I had agreed to these numerous credit card charges (I only mentioned the two charges of $95.71 and $89.76 since those were the only two I had discovered as of this morning). She purported that I clicked something about “terms and conditions” when ordering online. I always read anything entitled “terms and conditions” when shopping online; I copy it off the web and paste into a Word document in case something might occur like this incident with Bio Geniste. I found no such terms and conditions on the online page where I ordered this promotional deal and therefore do not believe that I knowingly agreed to anything.

I firmly requested a refund for the charges mentioned above of $87.96 and $95.71. She offered me a refund of 25% (or $45.36) of the two additional charges for which I told her my credit card had been debited ($185.47).

She stated that she had cancelled any future automatic orders of both Bio Geniste and Hydravella. I received emails today confirming those cancellations, as follows in quotes:

1) “This email is to inform you that we have refunded the amount of $22.44 back to your payment method originally used on order number [redacted], which was originally purchased on 10/**/2015 04:40am for the total amount of $99.63”.

2) “This email is to inform you that we have refunded the amount of $22.44 back to your payment method originally used on order number [redacted], which was originally purchased on 09/**/2015 03:41am for the total amount of $95.71.”

Their refund concerning 1) above tipped me off to a credit debit I had yet to find so I re-reviewed my statements and found all of the items charged as seen at the end of paragraph one above.

In my opinion this is a case of false advertising as well as “hidden” or “fraudulent” placement of some kind of terms and conditions that I was completely unaware that I may have been accepting.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of the charges made to my credit card that went beyond the advertised costs of $4.95 + $7.95. Since mid-August, I have incurred for these products: $469.46 -- only $12.90 in charges are valid -- hence I would like a refund of $456.56.

These products costing $12.90 were supposed to be FREE TRIALs-- for the simple cost of shipping – no terms or conditions visible to the consumer. Should either Bio Geniste or Hyravella ever charge my credit card again after I have received emails from them today that they will cease and desist such practices, then I will appeal again to the Revdex.com. Should I receive a refund from them in the amount of $45.36 as promised in today's emails I received then I will return their check(s) in full.

If I ever do receive their promised $45.36, I would happily return their check.

Review: I recieved an unrequested subscription to an antiwrinkle product. I tried to call for a return number. It was 18:30 on a tuesday. The automated response was they were closed and I should go online. I went online and recieved an email reply they could not process my request. I just called again and was told they had processed my request and cancelled my subscription and could no longer accept the return. Online I was only given the option to cancel the subscription and there was nothing about being unable to return the product. I feel like there was a very unclear sign up for this monthly product and then unwillingness to accept the product back. When I told them I'd cancel the credit card payment and contact the Revdex.com I was told then I would get no refund whatsoever. At this point I'm getting a 50% credit. I want 100% credit and to return the product. I have not even opened the shipping package. I would appreciate whatever help you can give me and I think an alert should be issued on this company. Thank you.Desired Settlement: 100% refund with the return of the unopened merchandise. The company is BioGeniste, [redacted]

Review: The company offers 14 day trial with only $4.95 shipping fee to be charged to the consumers.

It was not disclosed when I placed an order that I also signed-up for the subscriptions.

I realized a day later, I emailed and contacted the company to cancel my order, but my phone call was not answered.

They informed me later via email that the product has been shipped. This is questionable to me if they really shipped the product the same day that the order was placed.

The company misleads the consumers by not disclosing the terms and conditions of the 14 day trial of their product, Biogeniste wrinkler remover.Desired Settlement: I contacted my credit card company and disputed the charges.

Review: Back in May (if I'm not mistaken), I was sucked in by an advertisement for Biogeniste. As I was completing the form to order a free trial of it, I thought better of it and did not finish completing the form and exited out of the ad. Sometime in mid June I received a phone call from one of their representatives. He was very nice and told me how wonderful the product was and assured me there was no hidden fees. He even told me that there was only a $4.95 shipping fee and that If I was not happy with it then I did not need to order any more of the product. He told me there was a 89% success rate and that he was sure I would want to order more of it. I even asked him if I had to call and cancel it if I wasn't happy, or if I would be charged any more fees. He assured me that I would not. I was not on the internet at this time, nor did I have access to it while I was talking to him driving on charter bus down the road. It had been so long since my original contact with the website filling out the form that I couldn't remember why I decided originally not to complete the form. I received the bottle at our house while I was still on our field study. I was not able to open it until I arrived home about a week later. When I originally opened the box it was about 11pm and I didn't take time to read the enclosed sheet. I honestly didn't think it was necessary, because their representative assured me that there was no hidden gimmicks and I did not need to cancel anything. I layed it to the side in my bathroom though, in case I fell in love with the stuff and decided to reorder. I went out of town about a week later for another extended period of time. When I returned, I started spring cleaning. (Since I'm a teacher, I do not get this opportunity until the summer.) As I was going through our Master Bath, I came across the paper that had been enclosed in the bottom of the box. I happened to notice at the bottom that it said something about a phone number to call to cancel. I immediately called the number to cancel. I even called the number back to double check to see if I truly had canceled it, since it was automated. As soon as the phone picked up on their end, their was an automated response that my account had been cancelled. No one told me that I would be charged. I never received another shipment. The product itself made absolutely no difference in the amount of wrinkles that I have, which it assured would happen within just a few days. It is called Bio Geniste Daily Use Anti-wrinkle Serum with Matrixyl. I did not get the second product for the eyes, because my eyes are extremely sensitive. We just received new credit cards, so I got my June bill out to start calling all of our accounts that are automatically deducted each month and I noticed a charge from Biogeniste for $89.76. I was in shock, because I thought it had been cancelled. When I called, the lady was rude and said there would be absolutely no refund. When I told her I would be contacting the Revdex.com, she said they were backed by the FDA and it would do me no good whatsoever. I'm not sure if this will do be any good or not, but I think other consumers need to be aware of this SCAM. This is a $89 bottle that is only 1 oz. big and I honestly do not remember seeing anywhere on the site that it was a $89 product, because there is no way I would ever consider buying anything that is that expensive for my face. I looked at the site again today and did not notice that price. In extremely fine print at the bottom, it says something in a very large paragraph about canceling in 14 days, but when I was originally on this site I was I my cell phone on [redacted] and there is no way I would have been able to read the entire paragraph on my phone. I truly hope you can stop this company and help other consumers from getting sucked into this scam.Desired Settlement: I would greatly appreciate a refund of $89.76. I would also like other consumers to be alerted to this scam.

Thanks for your time.

Review: This company's product was advertised as a reward for answering a survey about my internet service provider. It was presented that my ISP was providing this as a free gift for completing the survey (for which I would only pay $4.95 shipping). There was NO indication this was the beginning of an ongoing automatic shipping arrangement with [redacted]. There was NO indication that if I did not contact [redacted] to cancel this arrangement within 14 days I would be charged full price ($89.76) for the "free" gift I received. This is fraudulent marketing and skimming $89.76 apiece from the tons of people to whom this scam has been misrepresented. This company lacks integrity and should be prosecuted for this scam.Desired Settlement: I want the $89.76 refunded. I have already canceled the ongoing shipments and spoke with a [redacted] customer service rep who gave me no help at all. I have also filed a dispute with my credit card company as well but have heard nothing back about that to this point.

Review: This company claims that this anti-wrinkle serum actually works and that you could try it by just paying the $4.95 shipping ,making it sound as if you are getting a trial sized product to sample when in fact you are getting a very small amount of the product indeed BUT they are claiming to be sending it as a full order of this product. The product does not arrive for 5 days (01/**/14) after ordered (12/**/13) and then you have less than 10 days to try the product. No OTC product on this planet that is to reduce wrinkles or have any affect on you skin can be determined in a less than 10 day trial....that is ridiculous. They charged my credit card for the full 89.76 and when I called to cancel,send the product back and asked for a refund ,even a partial refund they refused. This is no way to be doing business and I want this to be known by the Revdex.com as SCAM. That is exactly what it is because the product DOES NOTHING that any $10 bottle of facial cream could do for you. Their claims are false. I would be willing to bet so are the photos that they post "showing" results, as in much advertising ,people are compensated to say just what a company WANTS/NEEDS them to say.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of no less than half the product charge. This product does NOT work and I feel I should be compensated for their lack of honesty with this product. And no way is it possible to allow anything to work ,with visible results, in a 10 day or less trial.

Review: I have tried to return two separate orders to this business (I still have both orders in the [redacted] packaging) in accordance with their "30 day money back guarantee", and I have been told both times that I could not return the packages. The first time, I was told it would take too long for the product to get back to them to give me a refund. This time, I was told that since I canceled my subscription, that I could not return the most recent product. I am well inside the 30 day window. It became clear to me that this business is pretty shady when the operator told me that the automated system told me when I canceled that I could not return any orders. The only thing the automated system said when I canceled was thank you.Desired Settlement: I have both unopened packages to return for full refund
