We spoke to the office manager and sent her a order confirmation telling her what price she would pay if she needed any supplies and who we are....

We did not speak to [redacted] until he called in and said she didn't take care of ordering. We did not ship any supplies. We are going to say a prayer for this person

Our company does not pay for toner as it is built into our hardware lease agreement. Network Imaging solicited our company until they found an employee that was sucked into their trap. We received an invoice for $269.00 for toner that we could get for $85.00 anywhere else. Fortunately, the box wasn't opened and we shipped it back. I spoke with Terry and he was very sarcastic and difficult to deal with. After 45 minutes, he agreed to accept the toner back with no restocking fee. I've dealt with plenty of scammers before but he was one of the nastiest to say the least.

[redacted]SCAM These guys call your office and offer to save you over $100 by ordering before a price hike. It makes me sick that these guys would be willing to let me lose my job by having me sign the order form and send it back authorizing a sell. I am so glad that I figured out that they were scamming me prior to signing this. Disgusting.

He neverstated that had been receiving any supply from any other Company. We verified his order with him and then sent him an order confirmation via fax to show him who we are and what price he would be paying, he read it and signed it and faxed to us. We disclose who we are to every customer. [redacted] was confused on his order, so we told him we would waive his restocking fee on his return, since he was going to send it back on his own. We are going to say a prayer for this person

We spoke to [redacted], she said someone made a order by mistake. We told her once the supplies were returned we would zero out her invoice and put her on a DO NOT CALL LIST.

Deceptive soliciting. Almost fell into their trap when I answered their call. Kept telling me we should have received a letter that there was a price change that had gone up. Kept saying "they" not referring to any company specifically. David C said "they should have sent you a letter of the price change but I can fax it to you instead. Just sign that you received it and fax it back as this is just a notification of the price change." They are so crooked I felt the deception when I hung up. Sure enough the fax came in and it was for me to sign their agreement to send me toner. Last I checked I didn't ask for toner - they called to solicit and hook people in that don't know any better. David said "The price changed from $2.49 to $3.38" so I thought. The fax that came in was actually for $249!!!! and extremely hard to distinguish between $2.49 unless you pay close attention to it. Not only that - it wasn't to "inform" us of the price change. It was to hook us into their trap and sign their confirmation letter. Extremely misleading.
We have called and faxed over requests to remove us from their soliciting lists and can only hope people read how crooked these people are and how they prey on unexpecting people to fall into their trap. We shall see if they continue to solicit after our requests.

Complaint sent to FTC [redacted] Network Imaging contacted me over the phone at our office offering to provide us with a new toner for our Ricoh printer. Our company currently has a contract with Ricoh in which toner is included. Over the phone, the representative from Network Imaging said she was calling to check on our toner levels and asked asked how much toner we have remaining in our printer. Once I said we are down to our last toner, she said would send us a new one and she would send me a fax that I needed to sign and send back for confirmation. She said she would also make sure we get the order at "last years pricing". This person falsely acts as an employee of the printing company we are under contract with by implying she is keeping us on our previous cost and taking care of our refill. The representative did not conspicuously explain she was not an affiliate of Ricoh, she did not clearly explain we were to be billed for this toner (especially an outrageous amount much above market value), or that she was an employee of Network Imaging. She was very misleading and inconspicuous and completely relies on the confirmation fax to clarify. The misleading aspect with this practice is we don't know that Network Imaging is not affiliated with Ricoh.... Once receiving a bill for $268.97, I did a little research and found out there are hundreds of online complaints about this company and their deceiving practices, scam-like methods, and extreme price gauging. Many very similar complaints are evident. This company purposely contacts other companies who have arrangements with legitimate printing companies in order to send them toners, then bill them with the hope nobody will notice. Instead of clearly explaining their intentions and who they are, they rely on the confirmation fax & signature. [redacted]

To make matters worse, I called in to discuss this with someone from their "help desk". They were willing to accept the package if I returned and $0 out our invoice. I explained I wanted them to pay for shipping and his answers were probably the same as everyone else who has been in this situation.. "you signed the confirmation" "that's why we send the confirmation" etc, etc. etc.. When it became evident they weren't willing to help, I said I was going to excercise my right as a consumer to share reviews online and his response was "if you want to play that game, we'll do the same about your business." Are you serious?!?! That goes to show who we're dealing with here!

Review: Network Imaging regularly calls our company and, without identifying themselves or their relationship to us, says that they are shipping the toner that we ordered. We do not order toner from them (ever), since we have a contract with a separate company that handles our ink and toner. They then ship the toner that we did not order to our offices and invoice us for well over the going price.

This happened to us regularly for about a year, and we paid this company nearly $7000 for toner that we neither needed nor ordered. We finally realized we were being scammed and asked to have our account closed. However, every year since then in August they call our company and tell us that they are shipping toner to us that we explicitly did not order -- then bill us exorbitantly.

When we call their help desk, they deny wrongdoing and insist that we placed an order with them, which is completely false.Desired Settlement: We would like for this company to EITHER reimburse us the $7000+ they owe us from over a year of fraudulent charges OR at the very least cancel the invoice they recently sent to us AND remove us permanently from their contact list.

Review: the company called a secretary and deceived her into thinking that our large organization was a customer. The company faxed her an order form and instructed her to sigh and they would send toner that was needed. Toner came an the charge was nearly 10 x the normal price. We do not do business with the company, we do not honor any invoices that are not signed by a purchasing agent.Desired Settlement: send a return tag for the toner that we did not order. send a zero invoice to offset the charges. Also send me a signed copy of the company's W9. We are a non profit hospital that receives its funding from the CMS. this is also being investigated by the FCC, CMS, and FDA.

ID# [redacted]We spoke to [redacted] on 3-27-15 to see if she needed any supplies, and sent her a orderconfirmation to show her and her company, who she would be getting the supplies from, and what pricethey would pay. She acknowledged her order confirmation and sent to us on 3-30-15. A different ladycalled in on 4-3-15 and said they get their supplies a different way, so we sent them a UPS pick-up label.for the supplies, so we close out this order which was placed by mistake. Invoice# [redacted] Is for $249,not $349

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Regards,[redacted] the company uses misleading practices to trick people into buying supplies that are marked up over 1000%

Review: These people called me and lied to me by telling me they were part of the company that provides maintenance for the copier machines, they told me they were having me signs some page with a price but that I didn't have to pay because I was already under contract, then they sent a bill to my boss, when he called they told him that I had said I was authorized to make purchases, now my job is deducting money from my salary for buying stuff I am not authorized to buy. They lied to me!

They lied and said they were from [redacted] and tricked staff into receiving toner for copier that we do not need and never pay for.Desired Settlement: Company need to arrange for the unneeded merchandise to be picked up (Providing box and return shipping label) at no charge and agree to never contact any of our company offices in the future.

10 # [redacted]We spoke to a lady who needed supplies for their machines, we sent them a confirmation, via faxstating the price and showing where it would be coming from ,we never said we were with anothercompany, this is why we always send a confirmation, so problems like this do not occur. A gentlemancalled in and said they didn't need the order and we faxed the lady a return label ( twice ) so she couldsend it back and we could zero out her invoice

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

This company is what the printing industry calls "toner pirates"...they called us up, making it sound like they were somehow connected to our current printer provider and knew our toner was running low. They said their prices just went up to $490 (something about oil...which didn't make sense to me because price of oil is down right now...), but they didn't call us within 30 days like they're supposed to, so the guy's boss told him to call us and give us the "old" price of $398 (WAYYY higher than our current provider which, come to find out, toner is actually part of our contract and we don't pay for directly). He said they would fax us an order form, to sign it and send it back. The guy was mumbling and very hard to understand. When I got the fax, I decided to call our provider and they advised me against doing "business" with Network Imaging, and that it's pretty much a scam. Also told me it's pretty hard to get rid of these guys once you engage with them. I will be verifying EXACTLY who these people are that call me from now on, and if they aren't familiar to me, they're getting the hang up. Do not fall prey to scams!

Review: Review: I fell victim to a scam by a company called Network Imaging. After doing research online about the company, I found that several businesses have been affected by the same scam. I received a call today from a company stating that they were our companies printer/toner supplier and the prices of our toner will be increasing by a $100 and they had a computer glitch which prevented them from letting us know about the increase ahead of time. He said he would give us one more order for the discounted price, though. He was to fax me an acknowledgement to sign and then he would ship. After hanging up, I remembered that we don't have to pay for our copier supplies. I did some research and found out it is a scam. When he called me back to see if I received the acknowledgement, I told him I faxed it back with a note not to send item to us and I was aware it was a scam. He was upset when I told him I knew it was a scam and he said, "Well, that's what you say". I asked him to take our name off his call list and he said he would.Desired Settlement: This company to stop calling and falsely advertising themselves as a toner supplier to other companies and non-profit agencies. It's complete false advertisement & fraud. We are a non-profit 501-C-3 agency and it's a shame someone would try to take advantage of an agency that helps others.

ID # [redacted]I'm sorry that this lady did not understand her conversation, wewould not represent or advertise our company as any other. We sent hera confirmation, so she would know what she would get and who it iscoming from if she placed a order, she DID NOT place a order and ifshe would have let us know she is on a service and supply contract, wehave told her she does not have to order anything. She asked to be takenoff our call list, we do not have a call list, but put her on a do not calllist

If you will look at all the other complaints, they are similar in nature and the companies response is, as well. They do represent themselves as your agencies contract toner supplier. I don't want other agencies falling victim to their scheme.

Review: Network Imaging sent a fax to our fax machine indicating that the prices for our toner were increasing that we agreed to price increase.

1. The law firm they sent fax to is no longer in business

2. The law firm (past and present) have never done business with this company - even though they listed all the personal/private information on said fax

3. The merchandise that they are now billing us for was never received nor wanted - noting again that we never did business with this company and the fax was not to initiate new business

4. When one calls their indicated phone number the man who answers simply plays games - turns each questions and complaint into another question or remark and nothing is ever resolved.

5. The copy machine they indicate on their invoice no longer is owned by this law firm and again this law firm is no longer in businessDesired Settlement: Stop billing us for merchandise that was never ordered nor received. To stop sending faxes. To stop sending out fraudulant faxes to all business. To simply leave us alone and every other business owner out there.

ID # [redacted] We sent a order confirmation showing her address and name of her firm, which she indicated wascorrect, by signing the confirmation and faxing it back us, acknowledging her order. We sent her theconfirmation because we had not done business with her before and wanted to make sure everythingwas correct. There was nothing personal or private on the order confirmation, we don't know anythingpersonal about her or her firm. We have a proof of delivery from UPS, that they did receive the product. When she called in to ask about her order, she also said she had 3 other invoices, I asked her what werethe other invoice numbers and she screamed for me to get off her back and stop calling her, but shehad just called us, and never gave me the other invoice's since we have only sent her one. Sheindicated that she had numerous collection calls from us, but we had not made one call to her abouther invoice, she kept telling me to get off her back and stop calling her, I was trying to tell her if she hada problem with her order she could return it and that it would not be a problem and she screamed[redacted] YOU as loud as she could, then hung up on me. We do not want to do business with this firm

Review: This company has been calling my office for the past year and a half, letting me know that they're shipping boxes of toner that were never ordered by anyone in our office. There have been 8 boxes shipped in the last 18 months. Again, none of them were ordered by anyone on our staff. Every box comes with a bill, and the prices generally tend to be 3 - 4 times the actual price of what Xerox is charging for this particular brand of toner. On December 12, 2013, they charged $417.97 for one box of toner. On September 22, 2014, they charged $698.00 for two boxes of toner. On May 7, 2014, they charged $729.41 for two boxes of toner. Most recently, on March 5, 2015, they sent one box of toner -- even after I asked them to stop -- and charged $349.00. FOR ONE BOX OF TONER. According to the Xerox website, the price of one box of toner for our machine, which is a Xerox Phaser 3300, is $129.99. Again, Network Imaging has been charging us over 3 times this amount AND when asked to put a stop on shipments, they claim that the order was placed in recurring installments, and thus they claim they cannot stop the shipments until the order is complete. This is simply not true. I have never ordered toner in quantities of more than one individual box and I've never placed an order directly from this company. I have only ever placed orders for toner from the official Xerox website. My guess is that this company has somehow been able to hack into Xerox's customer database to see who has placed recent orders, and take advantage of people in administrative support roles who may not be aware that they're not an official Xerox supplier. This company doesn't even have a website. When I ask them on the phone to STOP, they simply say they'll "make a note" to stop orders but NOT until the installments have been finished shipping. I am up to my knees in toner at this point, and we've paid this company over $2000 for 8 boxes of unnecessary toner.Desired Settlement: Stop contacting me. A refund would be nice, too.

We spoke to [redacted] on December 11,2013,and asked if she needed supplies for her copy machine. We then sent her a order confirmation (see attached) so could see her price and where it was coming from , which stated who we are and what price she would be paying. She had called in on 9-22-14 to see if the shipments were automatic, which we stated they are not, a5 we ALWAYS call be before we ship to any customer. We will not send anymore shipments to this office, we put them on our do notcall list

Review: I was hoping to get some advice on how to handle a scam. Unfortunately, I fell victim to a scam by a company called Network Imaging. After doing research online about the company, I found that several businesses have been affected by the same scam.

About two week ago, I received a call from a company stating that they were our companies printer/toner supplier and the prices of our toner will be increasing by a $100 but they were going to give us one more order for the discounted price. They sent me and order form to sign for the toner (it is important to note that I am not authorized to sign such forms but as my supervisor was out of town, I took the initiative). I sent the form back to them and we received toner the following week with an invoice for almost $400.

After discussing this with my supervisor, he informed me our toner is included in our contract with our printer vendor. At this point, we did some research on Network Imaging and the scams they have pulled over the last several years.Desired Settlement: We have not paid the invoice nor have we used the toner they mailed us. After reviewing some of the complaints about this company, they seem unwilling to accept returns. Do have any suggestions where we should go from here?

If you need any further clarification or have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Thank you for your time,

(Please see attached document).

ID# [redacted]This lady is the exact reason we use a order confirmation for every order that Is placed, so we can showwhat the customer is going to receive and where it is coming from. We always make sure that theperson who is making the order is authorized to do so , and ask of r a purchase order # so that there willbe no future problems, such as a new employee making a decision when they don't know their companypolicy.Problems can occur when someone just takes initiative not knowing what they are doing, we havenever not accepted a returned item. This customer has never called to say that they made an order in error , or that they needed to return.
