Ordered shoes in April. Credit card was charged immediately. Product was promised to be shipped early to mid June and promised interim emails with status. It's now September and still no shoes and they do not respond to any forms of communication! SCAM!

One pair of shoes ordered in April 2015. The company has refused to respond, or refund my monies after still not receiving shoes to this date. This company has hidden behind an excuse of shoes being held by customs for too long now and needs to be forced from trading until an investigation is performed and old customers receive their product.

I ordered a pair of over $100 shoes after watching Shark Tank in April 2015, I waited and waited, got one email saying they were expecting a shipment of shoes from somewhere over seas, maybe Korea, I forget where. I have left messages on their voicemail system and emailed them wanting to know where the heck my shoes, no one has returned my calls or emails, I think they took my money and ran.
Do not do business with FORUS Shoes, they have terrible business practices, in fact they do not have any business practices.
All I want are my shoes, is that too much to ask??

Forus Athletics is writing in response to the complaint received regarding the ID number above.  The customer mentioned in the complaint placed an order with us on 5/22/2015 for one Membrane...

Crypt athletic shoes for $75. We understand that the interval between the time of order and time of delivery has been unusual and long, part of the reason for this is because Forus Athletics was given a mere 10-day notice prior to airing on Shark Tank, from which we received majority of the placed orders. As a result of the short notice, we did not have enough time to fully prepare for the number of orders that we received as the show aired. As a small, emerging company, we do not yet have all the resources to help expedite processing, so we have been working around the clock to get this completed. It is difficult even for the larger brand companies to produce abroad, ship via transatlantic to the warehouses, and then ship to their customers in matter of days. 
 
Based on the fact that our shoes are not made in the United States (they are made in South Korea and China), we could not get them manufactured and shipped within that 10-day notice time frame given to us by Shark Tank. To date, we have delivered nearly 6,000 pairs of shoes, which led to the current backorder, and we have another 10,000 pairs of shoes now waiting for clearance from customs. We have continued to contact customers suggesting alternatives to them, or refunds. 
 
Forus Athletics went from selling 1,000 to 2,000 pairs of shoes a year with about 2,000 customers to over 10,000 customers within 10 days of airing on Shark Tank. In this overnight growth, we quickly hired, and contracted even faster, and in that process we have made mistakes. We understand that the inefficiency of communication is unacceptable from our end, but we are working as fast as possible. We are small and we have been swamped when we re-aired in August. In an effort to resolve this dispute, Forus Athletics has shipped the order to the customer.

I placed an order with forus in April and never received my order. I didn't get a refund until August. Do not order anything from forus, it is a scam.

Forus Shoewear appeared on Shark Tank earlier this year. After viewing the show and their website/reviews I purchased and paid in full for 2 pair of shoes. Since that time I have inquired at least 4 times to find out when the shoes would be delivered. I have received the run-around over and over to the limit one can tolerate **. I have asked for a refund only to be assured my shoes were coming; more **. I have asked for updates; no response. This company has not done business in good faith and seems to be a scam operation.

I ordered and paid for a pair of sneakers ONE YEAR ago. I heard excuses for the first three months. I have heard nothing, nor can I reach them, in the past nine months. I would love to know how to make this public.
