New Castle Motors is unaware of any major issues with Ms. [redacted] vehicle. The only issue that is currently outstanding known by New Castle Motors is tire replacement: New castle Motors tried to schedule several app•ointments with Ms.[redacted] to drop the vehicle off so the tires could be replaced...

but each time was refused to make the appointment. Attemptingto accommodate the customer's needs, New Castle Motors was able to authorize Ms. [redacted] to take the vehicle to the tire shop herself.Ms. [redacted] called in asking about her tires several months later. [redacted] again told Ms. [redacted] that she was ok to take the vehicle to Earle's nre herself, and infact New Castle Motors thought that Ms.[redacted] had the tires replaced in March when it was first authorized. At time of Ms. [redacted] call to New Castle Motors she still did not mention any major issues with the vehicle to [redacted].New Castle Motors pridesit's self on customer service and will assist any customer that brings it to our attention of any questions/problems regarding warranty or repair of vehicle.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Regards,

This letter is a little hard to follow for New Castle Motors, but we will try and address the most talked about points in [redacted]s letter.
[redacted] purchased a vehicle in doing so she filled out a credit application.  On this credit application [redacted] states...

that she lives in New Castle, Delaware. If [redacted] did not live in New Castle, then she should have used the address to where she lives and not to where she is visiting. In purchasing the vehicle [redacted] also signed a supplement buyers agreement which states she would need to provide proof of residency. This proof would need be to th address [redacted] used on her credit application. [redacted] asked that [redacted] leave a copy of her SSI award letter this is to prove her income that she has stated she receives on her credit application, as we ask all customers to provide. The bank statement  is the only document that [redacted] could provide that the finance company will accept as proof of residency.  If [redacted] would have used the address that she is now stating she lives on the credit application, then the inconvenience of changing any documents would have been avoided. -
Several days later [redacted] came into the office stating she's having problems with the vehicle. [redacted] was explained that New Castle Motors repair schedule was full for week but she could call the shop directly and get an appointment.   In doing so the shop told [redacted] to bring the vehicle down, unfortunately she did not have a ride home from the shop. She asked [redacted] to follow to the shop and take her home. The manager told [redacted] that [redacted] would have to call for a ride due to being short handed.  In her letter [redacted] states she had a tow company come to her home, yet I do not believe she had the vehicle towed.
As stated to [redacted] before, she just needs to get the vehicle to one of the shops we use in order for us to assist her in any repairs.

I have brought a car previously from them BUT my experience when I traded a car in was horrible. Their system kept crashing. I was finally handed the key to drive off the lot. The car has an alarm system the remote they provided did not go with the car. When I complained about it the sales person that I was working with all day al of a sudden didn't know anything about cars. I would not be going back to them and I do not recommend anyone to go to them.

[redacted] was shown several vehicles that would fit the finance program she was approved. Ms. [redacted] said that she had $400.00 and a broke down trade. In order to help Ms.[redacted] purchase a vehicle without having to put more money down New Castle Motors gave her a $1500.00 trade in value for...

the 1997 Ford Escort that did not run. Later we found that the vehicle was still in her late husband's name, we explained to Ms. [redacted] that we would need her to transfer title into her name or we would need the executor of estate letter showing that she has the right to trade in the vehicle. Because we did not have a clear title at the time of sale New Castle Motors put Ms. [redacted] on a one note contract. This would allow Ms. [redacted] to drive off with the vehicle that night but would need to return and sign the finance company's contract once title was in office. The one note contract does not contain an APR, for she was not being financed through New Castle Motors. Ms. [redacted] came back to sign finance contract the APR was then disclosed. Ms. [redacted] was told the monthly payment amount and term prior to the signing of the one note contract and this monthly payment amount and term never changed.
The salesman explained to Ms. [redacted] on the date of purchase that the vehicle did not go through Delaware State Inspection and that she could take it through herself or bring back and we willtake through. Ms. [redacted] agreed that she would do herself, after calling to check if the vehicle was taken through Ms.[redacted] then became upset and said we should have done this for her. Ms. [redacted] had her son come in with the vehicle and New Castle Motors took the vehicle to DMV where it passed Delaware State Inspection. Ms. [redacted] then stated that the star came back on the windshield, the vehicle was then re-inspected by Superglass Windshield Repair whom fixed the star the first time. The repair man stated to Ms. [redacted] that the star was filled in fine and that it had not opened back up.  Ms. [redacted] vehicle had just passed Delaware State Inspection which includes checking the windshield, wipers and tires which all passed.

DO NOT ENTERTAIN THIS "CAR DEALERSHIP"!!! PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE. I decDO NOT ENTERTAIN THIS "CAR DEALERSHIP"!!! PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE. I decided to take the time out to warn everyone about New Castle Motors. I have no clue what so ever how these crooks are still in business. First and foremost, this "dealership" does not give the customer the right to pick out their own vehicle that they were initially interested in. They pick the vehicles for their customers (not knowing what you like or dislike nor do they care) which is an absolute turn-off upfront. They're all about fast talking to get money, which will get them nowhere and has gotten them absolutely nowhere in MY case, except for owing me my a full down payment back as well as court cost. My daughter is a college student and received a good amount of money that she wanted to use as a down payment for a car. I decided to reward her with a new car with me as the buyer. We went to New Castle Motors and I was going to trade a car (that is in my Husband and Daughter's name). Their salesman [redacted] and "Manager" (who is doing a terrible job managing) [redacted] told me they ran my credit and could not sell me a vehicle because my trade-in is already in my name. FIRST LIE! My trade-in is in my Husband & Daughter's name. Obviously someone just did not want to sell me a vehicle from the beginning.
I caught them in their lie and [redacted] told me to come back the next day and he will see what he could do. (I should have used that as a warning to go look elsewhere). He called me the next day and all of a sudden I was approved. My daughter and I went back to the lot (biggest mistake) and test drove a 2010 Dodge Caliber. She had her eye on another vehicle and he didn't even attempt to discuss or work with her on that particular vehicle. She was satisfied with the Dodge Caliber so we decided to go ahead and move forward with the paperwork. New Castle Motors vehicles are overpriced and have extremely high mileage. (They even use the vehicles on the lot for their personal use) AS WELL AS DRIVING THEM TO COURT & TO DO ILLEGAL REPOSSESSIONS. LOL!!! No wonder they all have high mileage.
[redacted] and his manager [redacted] did not display the cost of the vehicle and other details properly on their contract. Once we signed one contract for a $13,000 vehicle. We agreed to give [redacted] a $1,500 down payment and come back in two weeks with $500, making a total of $2,000 as a down payment. Once [redacted] managed to get our $2,000 everyones attitudes completely changed at New Castle Motors. He then tried to trick me into signing a new contract with a total price of $20,000 and a 22% APR. I did not agree with the new contract, therefore I have the right to not to sign it. The manager hides in the back the entire time and uses her salesmen to do the dirty work. As soon as I caught on to what they were doing the salesman became upset and the manager decided to then come and speak with me. She was EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL and kept trying to cut me off while explaining why I refused to sign the contract because she did not want to hear the truth. It is not legal for a car dealership of any kind to sign one agreement with someone, then turn around and expect the customer (unless their desperate) to sign a whole new contract that is double the original price. [redacted] then wanted to argue in front of other customers and even refused to let me have the new contract unless I "promised to sign it" (In her exact words). She refused to return my down payment and threatened me with a voluntary repossession if I did not sign the $20,000 contract. The salesman next to us [redacted] even decided to chime into our conversation while handling a customer of her own at the time and argued with my daughter stating "You're the one who just lost your money." [redacted] gave in and gave me a copy of the new contract and I decided to go and file a counter claim to get my down payment back.
Two days after New Castle Motors received my petition [redacted] decided to go to another county and file for a replevin. The replevin was thrown out of court because her malicious ways were clearly bought to the light of others. [redacted] has harassed me and called my place of employment several times, even to the point where my co-worker who I shared the story with became annoyed with her and told her she was wrong and to stop calling. Two weeks after calling me non stop [redacted] and [redacted] realized I that I was not going to sign the $20,000 contract so they disabled the vehicle from starting. (I did not owe them any money and the contract we did sign did not state that they were allowed to disable the vehicle.) They have sent several repo men to my home to repossess the car. Even the first repo man listened to the story and said that he did not agree with them and did not want to be involved. [redacted] has tried everything she could to make things personal instead of keeping it business and properly resolving the issue.
To sum it up, New Castle Motors has lost in court twice and was ordered to return my down payment of $2,000 after trying to ask for unnecessary fee's to be deducted. The court seen how malicious New Castle Motors "Manager" is and did not side with her. They repossessed the vehicle two days before we went to court and filed a counter claim that same day which was also dismissed in it's entirety.
I will now be extremely careful of the businesses that I trust. This is what happens when you try do business with unprofessional and untrustworthy people. I would have never entertained New Castle Motors had I read their online reviews before taking my daughter there to look for a car. I have yet to see one good review for them and I see why. I am ready to move on from this situation and I am now waiting for a return of my $2,000 down payment as well as court filing fee's (as order by the court) to get my daughter the car that she wants and deserves.
I really hope no one else falls into the trap of New Castle Motor's, glad I caught on before it went any further. ided to take the time out to warn everyone about New Castle Motors. DO NOT GO TO THESE CROOKS
They tried to cheat my daughter and sell her a car with 104000miles on it for 9900.
At 22% she only works 18 hours a week. I went up there talked to some [redacted] manager told her she I wasn't signing her trade over to her that was in my name. making my Airhead daughter mad. So the [redacted] crook managed to work it out where the down payment was added to monthly note and my Airhead daughter will pay over 18000 dollars for a piece of crapp sold to her by crooks.

Review: New castle motors. Has Took my car when the contract was fulfilled. I paid them $2500 on 2/11/2014 signed the contract on 2/7/14 I was approved by Carvant Banking. Carvant did a welcome call on 3/5/14 to welcome we to their company and to verify my information. They also asked me was I happy with the Mazda3 05. I stated I was but the car is having a little problems. [redacted] from Carvant called [redacted] from New castle motors to inform her what I was saying about the car issues. and [redacted] told Carvant that she wants the loan back and shes no longer wants to do business with me. Also telling them to disable my car which shuts the car starter off. Making it unable to drive. I Walked to NCM at 5:30pm on 3/5/14. Crying the whole way because they never stated that day when I was there that they didn't want to do business with nor did they call and state they didn't. I called the state police, When I was there he did a report, but couldn't do anything. Now on 3/7/14 I called them to ask why would they do this to be. Tenasha which is [redacted]s Sister stated I did something to the dash in the car and maybe some wires. I have no clue what shes talking about but they towed my car away on 3/5/14 @ about 8:30pm. Now they are trying to find anyways to not give me my money, Im overwhelmed. I cant take the pain of loosing $2,500 and also a car. When I did nothing wrong. Im missing work and class. The place is unprofessional. They wrongly took my money when I was approved and signed a contract. Almost 30days after Purchasing the car.

Please help me fight this. Ive always been nice to them. Ive never treated them wrong. Also the Owner of the Company is [redacted] is the Manger.Desired Settlement: I would Like the full amount of $2,500 that I gave them for the down payment Because The contract they did they did not follow. I did everything I was suppose to. [redacted] got upset im assuming because I stated the car was having issues to Carvant. I told NC that I was coming on 3/7/14 @9am to get my car looked at. This has caused me loss wages as well my kids missing school and my sons doctors appt.

[redacted] purchased a O5' Mazda 3 on February 7, 2014 and came back to finalize paperwork on February 12, 2014 On February 11 [redacted] stated that the vehicle needed tires, we told [redacted] that we would •oak into getting her tires. At that time we scheduled an appointment to nave her GPS unit installed on that Friday, February 13, 2014 in which we would have had her tires done on that same date, but the appointment was a no show.

Since 13th of February several appointments has been scheduled that she either missed or was late.

[redacted] called to inform \Jew Castle Motors that she thought there to be a transmission problem. [redacted] stated sne would take the vehicle to a dealer to have diagnosed. She was advised by [redacted] we would do this free of charge though she would have to drop the vehicle off to us. [redacted] investigated to what the problem was with the vehicle, [redacted] stated the vehicle was jumping when placing in gear, we then believed it to be a motor mount and not the transmission. At that time [redacted]

scnedu1ed another appoint with [redacted]. New Castle Motors does not own a repair facility, all work is out sourced to loca shops. We require all vehicles to be dropped off by 9am the morning of appointment and tne customer will be contacted when vehicle repairs are complete. Which [redacted] is well aware smce she nas purcnased 3 prior vehicles from New Castle Motors.

Finally on February 21, 2014 the GPS unit was installed at that time she was still unable to leave the vehicle for service. At this point we are now 10 days past the finalization of paperwork from the 11th of Feoruary. Since the 21st of cebruary more appoi'ltments were made and each appointment she arr.ved late and each time we were told she was unable to leave the vehicle for service.

On March 5, 2014 [redacted] had another appointment that she was once again late for and we were told once again she was unable to leave the vehicle for service. In this time [redacted] was due to give references and a welcome call to Carvant Fmancial. After sometime realizing that [redacted] had left [redacted] called Carvant Financial to make sure everything was clear and ready for funding. At that point [redacted] was told that the vehicle would not be paid until [redacted] is happy with the vehicle even

though New Castle Motors has tried to address all issues several times. [redacted] then asked the representative of Carvant Financial as to how do we address this problem 1f the customer does not allow

the opportunity to correct it. We have been trying to look at [redacted]'s vehicle for several weeks with resistance from her on every occasion. This could go on for another three weeks or three months and New Castle Motors would still not be paid? At that time the representative stated that she understands but she cannot go forward until the customer states she is happy. Since New Castle Motors is still the Security Interest holder of the O5' Mazda 3 [redacted] told the representative to send the contract back

Review: I was sold a car with a bad motor / engine.Desired Settlement: I would like the money I put in to the car back so that I may go elsewhere and get an alternate vehicle.

Review: Me and my husband purchased this car from New Castle Motors, we live in Maryland and purchased the car in Delaware. The salesman told us he would call us when the plates came in, after a month I called and was told we had to get them. They charges us $137 so I asked wasn't that the cost for the plates and was told not just to get the title. Well we then had to take it to get it inspected and it failed because all 4 brakes are rusted. This is not wear and tear that we did to the car, they would have been rusted before we bought it, they dont rust in 30 days. I called them and told them I would not pay for this and I need a new temp tag since the other one expired. They told me they would assist in the repairs and I told them I will not pay anything for the repairs because you sold me a car that needs complete brakes, pads and rotors. I was also told I could not get a new temp tag. IDesired Settlement: I would like to take this car back and get my deposit back and never have any dealings with them again or recommend anyone to go there.

Just suck it up and save your money. Go to a dealership. In their contract it says that you cant drive your car outside a 100 mile radius from their office. They have disrespectful people in there that only care about MONEY, MONEY AND MORE MONEY! I've had nothing but troubles with my car and them. Once you get close to paying your car off, if it hasn't broken down by then, they will find ways to get you to pay more. I have only a few hundred left to pay and I will do everything in my power to pay them off this month so I can finally get away from them. THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY I EVER DEALT WITH IN LIFE. Do not sign into anything with this company. Even if you are desperate, DO NOT DO IT!!!!

Review: I financed a car from them February 2015 and been having problems with vehicle since purchased it. Major issues. Shop has been in shop many times from February till now. My vehicle is there now and can't afford the repair. Every time something goes wrong warranty doesn't cover. Things that complained about from beginning was promised to be fixed and wasnt. I shouldn't have to keep putting my car in shop and renting cars cause my car is out of commission. They knew this car was defective and sold me a lemon. Horrible .Desired Settlement: To replace vehicle with another vehicle that is in good working order and free from major issues. Or refund.

Response:

New Castle Motors is unaware of any major issues with Ms. [redacted] vehicle. The only issue that is currently outstanding known by New Castle Motors is tire replacement: New castle Motors tried to schedule several app•ointments with Ms.[redacted] to drop the vehicle off so the tires could be replaced but each time was refused to make the appointment.

Review: on august 29th 2014 I went to new castle motors to buy a new car because my car that I got from my deceased husband broke down. Barry showed me only 2 cars and wouldn't show me any others. Because he knew I needed a car then he made me believe that was the only car I could get. It was dark and at night, he gave me 1500 for trade in plus I put 400 cash down he didn't even tell me the asking price of the car. He kept us preoccupied as he was filling out paper work, when I looked at the paperwork,he had gone over it so fast, that when I looked at it before I signed it the intrest rate was zero percent. He kept me so preoccupied had me sign the papers so I could take the car home then told me I had to come back next week to finish signing the papers, he was going over them with me I noticed he changed the interest rate to 23 percent I tried to question him and he told me that everything was the same as the papers I signed on the august 29, 2014. When I got the car home on the 29th of August the next day during the day we noticed 2 cracks in the windshield, scratches all over the car wiper blades were rusted, I brought it to his attention he said he could only help me with the cracks in the windshield and asked me to take car through inspection I said no tats your job it should of been done prior to me taking the car. Then after driving the car with windows up there was a whinding sound in the front tire area, and the crack came back in the windshield. We took the car back with no resolution. They also had a Revdex.com sign framed saying it was good till 2015Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of the cash and trade in amount and be released of the contract that I signed.

Response:

[redacted] was shown several vehicles that would fit the finance program she was approved. Ms. [redacted] said that she had $400.00 and a broke down trade. In order to help Ms.[redacted] purchase a vehicle without having to put more money down New Castle Motors gave her a $1500.00 trade in value for the 1997 Ford Escort that did not run.
