Review: the week before I talked to a salesman [redacted]. about purchasing a car. he asked me to come back and gave me a list of documents to bring. 8/1/14 9am I purchased a vehicle from this business. I did not have enough income, so my sister was asked to be the owner, and me co-owner. our salesman was [redacted]. as we began the contract procedure, he chose the car that he said could get me a approval l. it is a 2009 impala 4door sedan. we test drove the vehicle. he refused to ride along . the car seemed to be in good condition. my sister had purchased other cars from him, so she trusted him. when we returned he began the contract procedure. I am disabled so it takes a lot of effort for me to understand., he looked at our documents then took them to his manager, he came back and said we needed other documents. I told him I had a PA licence. he said that would not be a problem. he took my documents @ssi income verification. and my sisters documentas. he again took them to his manager. he told me I had to change all my documents to a Delaware address. I told him that my plans were to return back to PA. he said that was ok. at that time he demanded that I got to ssi office to change my address to my sisters Delaware address. at that time I realized that all my government documents addresses were PA. he ask me to change those as well. I did that . I did not understand that he was doing this to process my purchase to reflect a Delaware tags,registration. he told me , don't worry he gave me Delaware tags. then he . asked for another document from me , a bank statement, I told him that my income debit card is from USDirect, which is attached to ssi. everything is paperless, I must pay for a paper statement. I tried to get it online. I became very confused. he asked me to leave my bank information and my ssi information , and that he would get into my accounts later that day. I told him no. I printed my bank statement, took it to him, he told me I had to change my address to DE, so I did that. when I went to ssi building, and got copy of my income, I did not realize it was still a PA address, when I went back to him, he asked me to change my ssi income verification online....the same day I picked up the letter from ssi building. I called ssi and they said it was not good to change my address in the same day. so [redacted] again asked me to leave my ssi info, passwords, ect with him and he would change it , I said no. at this point I was very confused. I finally got all the documentation to him. during all this time my sister let me handle all this because the papers she gave him were ok, until he asked her for another bank statement. at this point something was wrong. so my next question was that I needed all my payments to be on the 3rd of each month, is when my ssi deposit is, the income award and statement reflected that. he said that is why he need all that documentation from me so my payments would be on the 3rd of each month. he then call an insurance agent, then gave me the phone, the quote was very high, $308 per month. I told the agent I could not afford that, after a long conversation he got me AAA which lowered my ins.payment to $155. he then prepared all contract , gave us a lot of papers to sign. he gave us an envelope with ins, and other papers. after a day, I asked my sister is she had the contract, she said no. I did not either, I called [redacted] and he said sorry, that I could come get them. I demanded two copies for me and my sister, he refused and became agitated , he came back with the contracts, after I got home I reviewd them, all my payment were set up for the first of every month, he told me and my sister that it would be on the 3rd and that is why he needed all that documentation. I became very angry and confused and I let him know it. 10 days later the car began to stall in traffic, which was dangerous and as I turned the sterringwheel it had a clicking noise. in called [redacted], he told me to come in. he was not very business like. he asked what was wrong with the car, I told him.he got in and drove the car and said, well the car was not doing this when I bought it. I was angry, and ask him what to do. he said he would call his man or rather homeboy and get me appointment. but he gave me the card and toldme to call this guy name mike at American something..a mechanic on DuPont highway. I called as I still was in my car at NC motors, I spoke to mike, he sazid he was going out of town that I needed to bring the car asap, and ask me who was paying for the service, I told him that [redacted] told me I did not have to pay. then the mechanic said for [redacted] to call him. so I went to [redacted] and told him to call the mechanic asap. he said he would, at this time [redacted] was outside arrainging the bark that is in front of the door, I said couldn you call him now. he threw the tool down, stormed off as I sat in the car. then I asked him if he could follow me down to the mechanic, which is a few miles, and drop me at home which is a few miles. he told me no that they were shorthanded that day, yet he was outside fluffing bark ????. I was so angry I drove home. I called my car loan business and they said that the car was only 10days nold, and NC motors should have helped me, because if I chose to go through my car loan business, I would have a $100 deductible. I called [redacted] again he refused to help me. I called AAA to tow my car to a AAA mechanic. when he arrived he looked over the car and both front tires were loose, the lugs, so the tire was dangerous, also the sterring wheel noise, he was not sure and said the dealership should check it. at that point I gave up. I have not driven the car because it is dangerous and stalls in traffic. then on top of that all my payments are due on the 1st of each month and [redacted] guareenteed that. when I got my payment books, I had to call the insurance and car loan to change my date. I can not !!! because they were set up for auto pay. so they cancelled the auto pay, and I have to pay a fee to process my payments online or automated phone. I am exhausted. I have cried for days, my sister works a lot, but she tried to get him to help. and yes I was very angry when each time I spoke to him because all this was wrong, and was done probably to increase his commission quickly. I ask that NC motors repair my car at no cost to me, I will have my AAA tow it to a place that is AAA and not some mechanic who demanded payment from me after [redacted] told me I did not have to pay for the repair. after all this misery I want them to pay for the repair , of whatever it is, and not take my car to a shady mechanic like the one he had me call. thank you so much please help me. I gave over $1000 plus insurance on 8/1/14 to purchase this car . I love the car, I just think they should fix nit, and my car loan business Credit Acceptance agreeded NC motors should pay for repairs. please help me. by the way SSI said that it could appear fraud by him changing my documents in the same day, and all my government help is one address so they can all match up, because they are connected. I had to change all of them, and I did not realize I will need a DE driver lic. and De registration. I told him I was moving back to PA but he processed DE information for my car. help!!!!a lot of these transactions could have been perceived as fraud the way he had me changing documents. in a conversation with ssi, they said that for me to try to change addresses in the ssi office and online can seem like fraud. also [redacted] asked to keep my personal information to process it himself . I said no. now I have to change my addresses back to PA because that is where I will reside, I told him that I was only in Delaware to visit with my sister for few months. My Car Loan company said that I could have used to PA adresss and pay taxes on the process of buying the car, he never gave me that option. and I did not know. I presented him with a valid PA liscenceDesired Settlement: pay for the repair of my sterringwheel clicking and find why the car is stalling when I stop the nproceed, traffic behind me could hit me if my car is not moving. I asked for the owner, they would not give me his name or phone number

This letter is a little hard to follow for New Castle Motors,but we will try and address the most talked about points in [redacted]s letter.

[redacted] purchased a vehicle in doing so she filled out a credit application. On this credit application [redacted] states that she lives in New Castle, Delaware. If [redacted] did not live in New Castle, then she should have used the address to where she lives and not to where she is visiting. In purchasing the vehicle [redacted] also signed a supplement buyers agreement which states she would need to provide proof of residency. This proof would need be to th address [redacted] used on her credit application. [redacted] asked that [redacted] leave a copy of her SSI award letter this is to prove her income that she has stated she receives on her credit application, as we ask all customers to provide. The bank statement is the only document that [redacted] could provide that the finance company will accept as proof of residency. If [redacted] would have used the address that she is now stating she lives on the credit application,then the inconvenience of changing any documents would have been avoided. -

Several days later [redacted] came into the office stating she's having problems with the vehicle. [redacted] was explained that New Castle Motors repair schedule was full for week but she could call the shop directly and get an appointment. In doing so the shop told [redacted] to bring the vehicle down, unfortunately she did not have a ride home from the shop. She asked [redacted] to follow to the shop and take her home. The manager told [redacted] that [redacted] would have to call for a ride due to being short handed. In her letter [redacted] states she had a tow company come to her home,yet I do not believe she had the vehicle towed.

As stated to [redacted] before, she just needs to get the vehicle to one of the shops we use in order for us to assist her in any repairs.
