New Holland Agricultural Business Reviews (25)

I have aT6030 fwa with 1700 hrs. and the bushing in the front hub seized on the axel and got hot and took the seal out plus wore on the hub. I have not found out yet if hub is ruined or not, but I also have a T6150 fwa same deal last year with 1560 hrs. Both hubs had to be replaced on it. New Holland dealers say never had a problem. Both tractors were purchased through Titan Machine,

Review: I have had on going mechanical proble** with my brand new [redacted] made by New holland. It has had transmission issues since I bought it. The dealer has tried repeatedly to repair it. The unit was purchased new with 13 hours on it and has been in the shop four times for the same problem. The dealer has had two on site visits to help correct the proble**. The unit now has 20 hours on it and is currently at the dealership and under repairs. I have filed a claim with New Holland about this unit and it's on going proble**. They have failed to resolve the problem and lost my claim for two weeks with no contact costing me over two thousand dollars in rentals to complete the task of snow removal. No offers of a loaner machine was made even with the full warranty in place. I cannot afford to pay out of my own pocket for a machine that cannot do its job with no help from New Holland.Desired Settlement: I would like for the company to buy back the unit from me for the original price. I will absorb the cost for the rentals and part ways with them

March 5, 2014Dear **. [redacted]:Upon receiving **. [redacted]’s call to New Holland's Customer relations hotline, a New Holland Field representative spoke extensively with the store manager at the independently owned dealership where **. [redacted] took his tractor for service. The service manager, and the technician that had completed the repair to the tractor, noted that the tractor diagnostic did reveal one error code which could have affected the performance. The dealer corrected that issue and a technician has driven the unit extensively since that time. The error code has not come back and the unit has performed as designed.New Holland is advised by the dealership that the unit is working properly. New Holland was also advised that the dealer is trying to assist the customer in selling the unit. New Holland’s position is that the necessary repairs were made, and the warranty was honored,Sincerely,

Consumer

Response:

No complaint has yet been filed with the attorney general. I am giving New Holland the option to resolve this situation before I continue. My company's losses are excess of $2000.00. This does not account for the loss in time finding a reputable contractor to complete the work that the tractor was to complete. The time to return the machine to the dealer also was not accounted for. I'm hoping to resolve this issue at this level before I am forced to continue with this complaint.

I have the same problem , New Holland equipment does not perform when you need it, but makes a great expensive boat anchor.

Review: I purchased a New Holland TN65 standard tractor from a dealer in NC sometime in 1999 or so. Recently I hit a stump while bush hogging. This punctured the fuel tank to the point that it can not be repaired. I have tried to find a replacement tank. I order one from a dealer, part number [redacted] (cost $483.79 + shipping) and to some warehouse problems I received the incorrect tank, twice. When I called the dealer and after several days it was determined that some changes had been made in the tank and the total for the new tank and the modification parts was going to be $1,300.00. I believe that this is a New Holland design problem in the first place and there probably should have been a recall on the item on that model of tractor.

Why was there not a recall on the fuel tank?

Really sounds like gouging in that the parts to make this modification cost more than the tank.Desired Settlement: The outcome should be that a tank like the original tank at a reasonable price as opposed to all the additional parts at double the cost of the fuel tank itself. There should be a recall on the design flaw of New Holland.

July 17, 2014Dear [redacted]:In response to the above Complaint, please be advised that the modifications to the fuel tank referenced by [redacted] allows for easier and faster filling of the fuel tank compared to the prior design. The tank sold before this modification/update is no longer available.Sincerely,Diane S

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: It did not improve the fueling of the tank and surely was not worth the additional $500 to 600 for the extra parts. My mechanic had to use the original fuel filler tube. Still had to fuel the "new tank" the same was as the old. Surely don't understand why the original tank was discontinued.

Review: My small company had to pay ($1718.15) for repairs of a New Holland farm tractor ([redacted]) that was found to contain an inadequately designed head gasket - original head gasket blew. The New Holland Farm tractor was purchased new from a New Holland dealer in [redacted], MD and had fewer than 463 hours of operation on it when the head gasket blew.

The original head gasket was ultra-thin and subsequently not able to handle the pressures of a diesel tractor. In fact, the factory replacement head gasket was over 3 times thicker than the original inadequately designed head gasket and almost all New Holland farm tractors of this model and year that was purchased from this same dealership had the same head gasket problem

I wrote a letter to New Holland asking for reimbursement (see attached) for the cost of head gasket repairs and they verbally refused to honor my (by telephone) after assigning it an internal case number (I say verbally refused because they refused to put the refusal in writing - said it was against their policy).Desired Settlement: All I want is for New Holland to reimburse my small company for the cost ($1718.15) of repairs since it was their design flaw that caused the head gasket problem.

[redacted]:CNH Industrial America LLC (which manufactures the New Holland brand) received your April 21 letter regarding the above-referenced complaint. This complaint concerns a 2006 New Holland [redacted] tractor, which the customer purchased on March 22, 2006. The warranty on this tractor expired on March 23, 2008. Accordingly, CNH denied the customer's request for reimbursement of repairs because the tractor is 6 years out of warranty. Moreover, CNH denies that the gasket is defective. Please advise if you need any additional information.Very truly yours,
