Customer Treatment
Somehow, I missed a payment. I haven't figured out how that happened yet. I have been a customer with NJM for over 30 years and never missed a payment before. So what is NJMs response? A cancellation letter and a threat. I have never been more insulted. I was shocked to see a cancellation letter since I didn't even know I missed a payment. How about a phone call or a letter that the payment is overdue? No, I get a threat from a company that I've been a customer for over thirty years. Maybe it's time to change that!

Fell From Grace
NJM went from being one of the best insurance companies out there to being the very worst insurance company out there in less than one year. I canceled their policies and I never want to go back. having had one 2 pt ticket 30 years ago and one minor accident 8 years ago I was a little surprised when I moved from a low rent district to a lovely suburb and my insurance rates increased. I was also surprised (given that I am an underwriter and know my credit well) just how long they can hold questionable credit decision that occurred nine years ago against me. my fico is in the high 700's but NJM seems to think I am a credit risk. however what is really annoying me and what makes this insurance company so much worse than any other insurance company I have ever dealt with is the non-stop barrage of wasteful paper mailings asking me to come back. I mean it is inundating, it is every day. I don't want their insurance, their rates are terrible, their policies are terrible, I pay $700 less a year now. I would never come back. their claim division was useless, their agents are useless and they contact me on a daily basis. I have called, I have written, I have threatened to make complaints and still they send me this junk every single day. I need it stopped.

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: NJM has been dragging there feet for the last months with this claimThe public needs to be aware of what NJM puts the consumer thru They send people to my home who low ball the work that needs to be done or want to put bandaids on things just to close this claimI was even told if the cabinets do not exactly fit properly against my existing backsplash that the contractor ( [redacted] would use more grout to meet countertopThis to me is shorty work At one point they had a gentleman come to my home give a estimate and then he sent me letter saying my adjuster agreed at quote that I was to sign "proof of loss"When contacting my adjuster he received no estimate and did not agree to anything NJM adjuster had stated This to me is underhandedI am very upset by this whole situation and by the way it has been handledSuch as the incident with my mold issue in my attic, I will not be taken advantage of againIt has taken months and a monepercentage of what I am suppose to receive from NJM, because I had to hire a adjuster to make sure I do not get played the fool again Regards, [redacted]

I am at my wits endI have been cooperative, and have submitted all documentation that was asked of meI need to get my house restored, as the cold weather approaches there is holes in wall leading to my unheated garage, my gas and electric bill was over and this is not even winter yet, I have an year old aunt who is in failing health, her husband, my uncle has passed and she has been living in Florida for the past something yearsAs she ages and requires assistance with her activities of daily living, she has asked if she can come stay with meI am a RN, and have taken care of all of my elderly aunts and unclesI am extremely close to my family, and although this is not the problem of njm insurance I am very concerned for her staying in my home in the condition it is inI feel like I am being bullied by this company and forced to wait patiently as I jump through hoops to do as they request, and then wait againThis is completely unfair Any help from the Revdex.com is so very appreciated Were you able to open the document? I am rejecting this response because: I have already been waiting to resolve this issue for 2 months and do not want to wait 10 more days them to respond me. My car is totaled by their insurer and I still haven't received any payments even though they accepted the liability. After waiting two more months, I take their response as a time gaining tactic to not pay. I only request them to do their job and pay the value of my car and towing expenses ASAP!

I am rejecting this response because:My Name is [redacted], my case number is in the subject line. I was just made aware that I prematurely closed my case against New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance company by responding to the first email I received from your office. I believed that by selecting accept, I was accepting the waiting period of 10 days for NJM to review my complaint and come back with a solution. The case is not resolved and I have not received satisfaction or remediation from NJM. Again this case is based on the fact that NJM has charged me for services not rendered after I closed my account with their company. This case is not closed and I am willing to do what I must to make that fact known and have it resolved.
