This letter is in response to the complaint received by the Revdex.com from Ms*** *** regarding billing for service located at *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** ***? NYSEG’s records show the invoice for $was based off a company read which fell in line
with previous reads the bill was accurateNYSEG has access to the electric meter outside; NYSEG gets read regularly every other monthThe account is electric only with electric heatNYSEG Supply Service consists of variable electricity supply and transition charges and a fixed delivery chargeCustomers may choose to purchase their electricity supply from a supplier other than NYSEG (also known as an energy services company or ESCO)If customer purchases their supply from an ESCO what they pay for their electricity supply will depend upon the agreement with their ESCOTheir NYSEG delivery and transition charges will remain the same with any choice they make.? NYSEG and RG&E customers who are part of the day/night rate options may see an increase in their billing-? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? The bill increase is a direct result to the wholesale price increase due to an increase in demand and the frigid and historic low temperatures including for example those experienced during the month of January.? ? -? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? NYSEG and RG&E do not make any profit on the supply charges that appear on their bill NYSEG has enrolled Ms*** in the meter reading program to avoid estimates on the months NYSEG does not come out? Ms*** is on an installment plan, where she pays monthly to reduce the larger balance in addition to her current month’s chargesThe cost of electricity for the month of January was a direct result of the historic frigid temperatures.? I have reviewed Mrs***'s concerns and offer the following response to the above mentioned complaint.? Company records show that in the June 26, issued invoice Mrs***'s ESCO (EiigoEnergy NY LLC) double billed herThey billed her kwh ($115.50) and Kwh? ($125.12)
The correct amount was the latter of the two.? NYSEG has been in touch with Eligo and they confirmed they will be sending a refund check to? NYSEG for $They stated that the check would be cut on Thursday 2/1/When the? company receives the check it will be credited to her NYSEG account. It should be noted as a quicker way to correct the issue the company canceled the invoice that? was issued to her on 1/23/with the hopes they would credit the $in that processWhen the invoice generated the credit was not on it so they will be sending a refund check to NYSEG insteadFurther, both the invoice from 1/23/and the rebilled one on 1/26/only had NYSEG delivery charges on themShe will be billed by Eligo next month for two? months of supply costs.? If you would like to discuss the matter, please contact me at the phone number listed belowI can be reached Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:a.mand 4:p.mat ***? Sincerely,? I have reviewed Mr***’s concerns and offer the following response:? Due to the heavy workload in the NYSEG district that services Mr***’s electric needs the schedule for field work is full until mid-February.? At that point any jobs/work not on the schedule will be placed on it
in the order in which they were received.? There is no definitive date as to when this will be completed other than to note it will not be done before mid-February.If you would like to discuss the matter, please contact me at the phone number listed below.? I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.? For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Customer sevices rep was belligerent continued to lie about the accountalso service left my meter a messI'm not sure how I can provide doctuments as they can manipulate the website and told me they would delete all my banking info (which as of that day they hadn't) and I can no longer log intoIf they delete and pentaly charges from them billing the wrong account turn power back on at no charge and pay for any water damage that my have occurred I'd be satisfiedmind you that doesn't? cover my refrigerator or freezer items, my refrigerator items and and $of water damage from them when I asked for the location service to be turned on and they turned off the location thinking it was the commercial water pump meter about years ago.? ? I have attempted to reach Mr*** *** several times since
the company received the complaint from the Revdex.com.? Each attempt resulted in no answer and a
message stating “the person you are trying to reach has a
mailbox that is not
set up”.? I also attempted to reach the
customer of record (Mr*** *** is not the customer of record or an
authorized party to discuss this account) which had the same result.? I have sent him an “unable to reach letter”
and held the account until 9/4/for him to respond to the letter.? Should Mr*** *** contact the Revdex.com again

I have reviewed Mr***'s concerns and offer the following response to the above mentioned? complaintUpon receipt of this concern from the Revdex.com I reached out to the company's line department that services MrSprague's areaThe street light in question has been repaired and is working
properlyIf you or Mr*** would like to discuss the matter , please contact me at the phone number listed belowI can be reached Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:a.mand 4:p.mat 1.*** Yours sincerely, Mark L*** Appeals Department NYSEG Executive Office

I have reviewed Ms***’s concerns and offer the following response: Company records show that on the cycle read of Ms***’s electric meter on 8/2/there was an access issue (blocked by bushes) which prevented the company from reading the meter.? The company makes every
effort to read a meter on the scheduled months.? It should be noted that Ms***’s neighbor’s meters were read on 8/2/without issuePlease keep in mind the company’s meter read cycle is every other month.? If a read is missed for any reason there will be estimates until the company next reads the meter.? The company offers the customer the option of reading the meter as well.? A customer can call in a read any time they receive and estimated invoice or can be set up on the company’s Read Card Program where the customer could request to either read the meter every other month (when company would normally estimate) or can choose to read the meter monthly.? The fact that Ms*** paid ahead had no relevance on the missed readIf you would like to discuss the matter, please contact me at the phone number listed below.? I can be reached Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:a.mand 4:p.mat Yours Sincerely, Mark ***Appeals Department? NYSEG Executive Office? ? ? ? ?

She had agreed at the time of our conversation to call me today (4/1/2016) to make said payment.? Ms*** was satisfied at the time.? I had send her an "unable to reach letter that clearly stated her name/address/account number as well as the Revdex.com case #.? I am not sure of the letter she is referencing.? I have reviewed Mr***’s concerns and offer the following response to the above mentioned complaint.? There are many steps to obtain newly constructed service at any location.? The company just received the U/L inspection on 6/1/(nothing can continue until that is received).?
At this point the job is with our real estate department as easements are required.? Once those are received the job will progress.? Once all steps are completed the job will be sent to the line department and will be assigned in the order it was received.? Mr*** should be aware of this information as he spoke with the installation department at NYSEG on 6/5/If you would like to discuss the matter, please contact me at the phone number listed below.?
