I was going to write a negative review, originally I needed to return the computer that I purchased, but I needed a box to make the returnThe first representative said that I had no recourse without the box and its UPC, but after a second effort the representative was able to bring my issue to a complete resolution If you buy a computer from Newegg, I would highly recommend reading in full their purchase agreement for full disclosure of return policiesThey do not reiterate these policies in the packageKeep your box for return

Great service, always delivers to me in a timely manner and have never had anything broken on arrivalOnly problem I have ever had is when another company sells something through Newegg

I purchased a computer from Newegg Feb 15th weeks later it arrived and did not workI contacted Newegg and asked for a replacement Almost weeks after that I received the replacement, which also didn't work I contacted Newegg again and asked for a refund The same night I was called by a Newegg representative and after a lengthy conversation was told that if I changed my refund to a return they could ship me a working computer within daysI agreed to this and shipped the computer back Today I received an email from Newegg saying that they received my return ad were processing it for a refund I called them yet again to explain that that should have been changed to a replacement I was then told that they have no record of the person that called meThat they did not work for NeweggThat someone just randomly got my phone number and all of the information about my order apparently I was further told that if they send me a replacement and if that one does not work then I will lose my money and be stuck with a defective computerI was told that Newegg was doing me a favor by replacing the defective products I received and that they are under no obligation to guarantee me a working computer when I ordered one I am now awaiting a refund This has been the worst shopping experience of my lifeThe time and stress this has taken is ridiculous And to be told that they are doing me a favor and that they don't have to replace a defective product is beyond insane to me I will never shop at Newegg ever again and I will tell as many people as I can to steer clear of them and their awful products and customer service

I recently placed an order with Newegg, received all the notifications, checked my credit card to see the two transactions pending and felt comfortable with the whole process Today, I checked the status and both orders were voided No explanation, just orders cancelled and call or resubmit the order if you want to Now I have missed the window for delivery prior to Christmas I can only surmise that these products are not available as there is no issue with the Credit Card or the verified delivery addresses Very poor performance, I wound not use Newegg again

I order a 300$ graphics card late Monday nightI called Newegg first thing Tuesday morning to add the RUSH serviceThe person I talked to on the phone told me that my order has already been picked and will be processed shortlyThat there was no need to add RUSH serviceThe next day my order was not processed so I contacted Newegg through their chat serviceThey told me that I was unable to to add RUSH service now but my order should ship that dayThey cut off for their carrier pickup is at 4PM PSTI contacted Newegg through there chat service again at 2:30PST and told them my order was still not processed and I need it to be shipped not just processedThey told me there was order was on track to be processed and make carrier pickupAt no surprise my order was not processed until after their carrier pickup timeThey tried telling me that me order was processed on time but billing me and not shipping my order is not the same as shipping as my orderHow would the bank like it if I told them I wrote a check for rent on the day rent was do but did not drop the check off until later that weekIt is unexceptionalMy order did not leave their warehouse until the next day until 4PMSince they processed my order on Wednesday their web-site stated I would receive my order on FridaySince it shipped on Wednesday and not Tuesday my order would not arrive until next MondayI am a two day shipment from the warehouse since I am the next state overI order my product on Monday and should have received it on Thursday or FridaySince they were late on my shipment that I called times and wasted hours my package arrived days later then it should haveI cannot explain how upset I am at NeweggAny other company in America would have helped a customer who called in three timesOrder # [redacted] Tip for consumers: Do your self a favor if you need anything delivered on time use a different eCommerce web-site that puts customers firstNewegg is not the same company it was a few years ago

I was a victim of a bait and switch routine from NewEgg.com A vendor in their marketplace, OneDeal Outlet, for whom they supposedly market and sell products, sold me a printer, and then later advised me that they had made a mistake After I waited hours for the order to process, I inquired as to why the item had not been shipped I was informed that the item had been priced incorrectly, and that the shipping amount would be increased from $to $ Otherwise, the order would be cancelled The total purchase price for the item with the $shipping amount was within $of competitive online vendors at several other reputable vendors in the Google Shopping department The changing of the shipping amount by $from the originally listed price at the time I committed to purchase the item made the price non-competitive, and more importantly caused me great inconvenience, where I was forced out of an agreed upon deal because a vendor would not honor a published price on their website I ended up purchasing the item from a different vendor at a slightly higher price than the original price from NewEgg NewEgg's marketplace is dangerous They do not stand behind the resolution of bait and switch offers from vendors in their marketplace I recommend using Amazon.com and their A-Z guarantee because after many purchases in their marketplace, I have never seen anything like this horrible experience at NewEgg

During a week long "sale event" an item was tagged as being on sale for a certain amount that entire weekDuring that same event, a day after my order, the price dropped significantlyThis is just sketchy in my opinion and have never dealt with this beforeI contacted them about the issue and was told they could not credit me the differenceWhy do they have out of stars here when 79% of the reviews are negative?

I purchased three TV sets for a projectI paid extra money for day delivery service since it was a rush projectIt was Sunday night On Wednesday(The third day of my order), they notified that the delivery would be changed to standard delivery and I did not need to pay any extra for delivery I got three questions after I read that email 1) This was day shipping and the day sent mail to me were third day of my orderWhy they did not ship the product yet 2) Why they change the day shipping to standard shipping without my permission? 3) Why do they think I had to pay more for changing to slower shipping option from day shipping? I read the email multiple timesThat was right, they changed that day delivery to standard delivery for their convenience and KINDLY said that there was no extra charge for me to get the slower serviceI thought it was joke, but it was not a jokeThey said it would delivered after days of my orderMy project would have an issue now I told them I would like to cancel that order and would buy the TV sets at local retailerGuess what - no answerI was concerned about this issues and sent them email again and againfive timesNO ANSWER After 5+ canceling request, I got an emailThey already sent those TVs but they would recall the deliveryIn a few hours, I got an email saying my surveillance camera order was cancelingThe camera was sold/shipped by a market place seller who did their job correctly (unlike NewEgg)The surveillance camera would be arrived by Friday but NewEgg canceled this order Wednesday eveningI had to contact the Marketplace seller on Thursday morning to correct this mistake and I got that by Friday NewEgg sent TVs anyway and they are coming I will get that this Wednesday if I would lucky enoughI tried to cancel that order but I am not canceling this order nowI just don't have confidence to refund this TVs and talk with NewEgg anymoreI decided to take that TVs - I do not want to have more problemIf I ask something to NewEgg, they will make an excellent problem with very creative methods I told them, I just wanted to get the extra cost back for that I paid for day shipping which they obviously failed the serviceThey said they didof course, they did notNow, I do not care about that day shipping costKeep it NewEggI am OKI need to get my blood pressure downI am really OKI just want to get out of the NewEgg Hell

I ordered a cell phone skin from New EggI paid $+$s/hThe postman comes to deliver the product and asks me to pay $for shipping because the shipper didn't correctly affix the shipping label and pay enough shippingI refused the packageThis was February 14thI am due a refundI haven't gotten one and am told that I have to wait for this to be received by the shipperSo if USPS has lost it or is unable to return it due to the messed up shipping label, I don't get a refundI've emailed back and forth and they take zero responsibility for this and I get no refund

If you buy from newegg, just know that you wont be able top return or exchange anything you buyThey sell name brands but offer ZERO exchange or refundsTheir staff intentionally misleads to drag out the return/exchange policyNewegg is a complete JOKEIf I had read a review like this I would have paid 1.5X to support local and to avoid these complete douche bagsNEW EGG is order only, not returnScam

I purchased a refurbished laptop for student in SeptemberAfter several attempts to get the device to work, I resolved to return it and get a refundThe device was returned in November 15, I received an email on December 15, acknowledging the return received and my refund would be issued within 5-business daysTo this date, I have not received a refundI have spoken with several persons but no resolution on 2-day promisesI would not recommend this company based on my experience

I found at item I could not not find anywhere else, so I was very excited to order from Newegg After waiting days for the item to even be processed as shipped-I contacted the seller through the newegg marketplace website They told me a defect was found and could not ship the item, but would ship a new one out in 1-weeks At that point I requested a refund rather than wait two more weeks for the item to be shipped I did not hear from the seller again At this point I appealed to the Newegg customer service I shared all my email conversations between the seller and I Newegg contacted the seller, but told them I wanted to return the item It was clear from my emails I never recieved the item and wanted a refund Finally newegg said they issued a refund I have waited five days, and still have not recieved the refund and Newegg has not returned my emails

After numerous calls, on-line chats, and an email, I guess I am giving up on NeweggI have had two accounts suspended and four orders canceled with no clear way to fix the problemI don't know if it is an issue with their ordering or their verification systemNo one I have talked with seems to have an answer to the problem that actually worksIt is very frustrating because it seems once their system wrongly decides there might be fraudulent activity on your account, there is no way to correct itI was unable to log in even after talking with a customer rep on the phone who verified my legitimacy and said I would have access againThis means that Newegg already lost one sales opportunity because I had to order an item from Best Buy insteadI do not normally take the time to do reviews, but something is not working correctly in their processes, and it needs to be addressed

So I purchased a refurbished Raspberry Pi on eBay from NewEgg, comes in defective, nothing coming out of the HDMI CableReturn the thing but no refundI contacted the company weeks later not seeing the refund in my account, they claimed I had filed a chargeback with my credit card company, which is ridiculous since I had paid with paypalAnyhow spent hours emailing back and fourth, I had to file a claim with Paypal to get my money back which I did but just a whole lot of trouble!
