Newport Lexus did not install the brakes, we offered to have our Certified Mechanic inspect the brakes for him to make sure his car was safeThe customer was extremely rude to our employees and wanted nothing but his money backNewport Lexus did nothing wrong, our offer to have his brakes inspected still stands but that is it

Newport Lexus talked with customer and decided to reimburse him the $1,Check was issued Friday November 10th, Newport Lexus did not lie about anything, there was some gray area on a few items so we decided to agree to our customer demandsNewport Lexus considers this matter closed

The Lexus that was traded in on another deal took a while to fund because the customer could not provide Lexus Financial services with the proper financial information needed for them to approve the dealOnce we were able to get the deal approved we immediately paid off the car in questionWe were funded by Lexus Financial services on September 23rd, We have provided the customer with her account # several times and can give it to her again upon her requestNewport Lexus has the title to the trade in vehicle which proves that we have definitely paid it off

The customer has contacted General Manager [redacted] and alleged the Lease Transaction agreement was forgedThis is untrue and the signature on the form matches all signatures on other documentsWe consider the matter closed

Newport Lexus sold this vehicle AS-IS We are not responsible to fix the hole in the center counsel, this vehicle was sold AS-IS Newport Lexus did not install aftermarket brakes, when we inspected the vehicle the brakes that were already on the vehicle measured at 11mm on both the front and rear which are like brand new brakes, all we did was inspect the brakes we did not installWe did agree to reimburse the customer for having the vehicle smogged, the cost was $and Newport Lexus did reimburse the customer We did not deliver the vehicle for a few days because we had to inspect the vehicle to make sure it was safe, and we had the vehicle detailed to make it look nice for the customer even though it was an carOnce the vehicle was ready we delivered it to their home all the way in San Diego which is about miles away from Newport Lexus As far as XM radio, the free trial period only applies on Certified vehiclesAgain we sold this car which means the customer did not qualify for their free trail and that’s why our associate did not mention it to them [redacted]

Customer authorized the work to be done, after the work was completed he wanted an even bigger discount than he agreed toAfter we denied the bigger discount he went on [redacted] and other sites giving us bad reviewsCustomer then sent a letter to Ownership saying if he received a check for $1,he would take down his negative postNewport Lexus did nothing wrong

To add salt to the issue I was never rude to anyone this is a bunch of bullLexus Of Newport is fully aware of the issue If Revdex.com *** break noise did ISand GS350 To me it smell like a know issue which they refuse to fixPer their technicians recommendation which I fully explained my issues before buying the breaks ma d recommend fluidsNow they area hiding behind the fact they didn’t install itMy Uncle who is a retired mechanic installed it. It’s odd that none of my Toyota cars or trucks replaced by the same person have any issues Per their recommendation I purchased their breaks and fluidsNow I’m out of money and insulting me saying I was rude That is such a BS!!!!’

Newport Lexus claims they did nothing wrongThe State of California Department of Consumer Affairs, Bureau of Automotive Repair (CalAutoBureau) came to a different conclusionI received a letter from the CalAutoBureau Irvine, California office dated November 8, in which they confirmed their audit/investigation at Newport Lexus in response to the complaint I filed and the investigator stated he is scheduled to do an additional hours of audit/investigation at Newport Lexus in the coming weeksHe stated that Newport Lexus needs to better job with disclosures, repair descriptions and to clean things upHe also stated Newport Lexus staff will receive extensive training and their software needs to be more fully utilized I received a sizeable check from Newport Lexus dated November 8, along with a letter signed by Service Director, Jason Johnson from Newport Lexus confirming the investigation/audit by the CalAutoBureauNewport Lexus described the audit/investigation as a “mediation” and that they received “assistance” from the CalAutoBureauI think anyone reading this wriwill come to the right conclusion, i.eNewport Lexus was investigated by the State of California for over charging a customer and then they magically provided a refund to the customer after the audit/investigationI spent a lot of time on making sure Newport Lexus would not get away with excessive charges and I will never be compensated for all that effortI do hope that other customers will not get taken advantage of/over-charged as a result of the State of California audit/investigation of Newport LexusThe CalAutoBureau stated they will preserve all my records in their file on Newport LexusThe abuse I took from Newport Lexus General Manager *** *** will not be forgotten or forgiven.

I should not have had to wait more than a year after leasing the car to get a response In addition the response was insincere I have subsequently gotten rid of the car and will not be buying another Lexus The customer service at this Lexus dealership is non existent and in fact quite laughable considering the promotions they advertise regarding customer relationships

Newport Lexus refunded the customer $because there was a little gray area on one aspect of the serviceThe Department of consumer Affairs Bureau of Automotive Repair looked into this case and sent Newport Lexus a certified letter stating that the case is closedNewport Lexus did not have to refund anything but we did what we felt was the right thing to do

Newport Lexus never agreed to fix any hole on the center counsel, please see copy of due billCustomer should have received check for $by now which was to cover their expense for having vehicle smoggedIf customer has not received the check we can stop payment and reissue anotherThank you

question. We were funded by Lexus Financial services on September 23rd, 2016. We have provided the customer with her account # several times and can give it to her again upon her request. Newport Lexus has the title to the trade in vehicle which proves that we have definitely paid it off.

When the vehicle was driven both headlights worked. When delivered 4 days after purchase one headlight did not work. The hole in the center counsel was a result of Newport Lexus not fulfilling the due bill (repairing back up camera). Customer fixed this at own expense. The brakes were not banging or grinding at test drive. This was noticed after delivery after the vehicle was with Newport Lexus for the 4 days between purchase and delivery. The customer has not received reimbursement for the smog check paid for at customer expense that Newport Lexus forgot to do.
