This has been my worst moving experienceI have moved over times in my life to different big cities and this has been a nightmare My moving was supposed to arrive at the end of DecemberThey were supposed to call hours ahead to announce that the moving is ready to deliverAs of today, the date has been changed two times and still I have no information about my belongings I call and there is a person called Patrick who is arrogant and instead of resvong things, he hang up the phone on peopleHe has done this over times now when I just call to obtain information about my goods He also leaves you in the phone for over minutes and when you try to call back, he doesn't answer the phone There is only one person who has rasponded decently, but he says to email him and never responds the emails I'm about to call the autorities to inform about my missing belongings, since they can't assist me [redacted] Instead of my move being something as it should be, pleasurable, happy, it has become terrible not even knowing when my belongings will be delivered [redacted]

They changed the delivery date two times without notice and I took day off waiting at home; also charged my credit card two weeks before delivery without any authorization so I went over my limit without knowingThey forced me to sign the paper that they delivered everything before bringing the stuff inMy stuff was so so dirty and they brought cockroaches to my home with their terrible blankets They destroyed my furniture and my house; I'm not talking about scratches, but gouge and cracks in almost every single itemThey also completely crashed two chairsThey have unprofessional and rude crew who damaged my doors, walls and floors and didn't listenWhen they knew I'm looking to file a claim they stopped answering mu phone or replying my emails

This is a terrible moving company Don't ever go with them Their specialist quoted me $for everything in my house plus my restaurant stuff However when the guy came to pick my stuff up he says my stuffs will cost way more than that It'll cost $base on the total weigh he estimated The specialist never mentioned anything about the charging by weight during our conversation and he sent a quoted email after requested us to pay $deposit Then the team that picked up my stuff says I should receive at the end of the week but ended up delayed for weeks after many call I made and they gave us wrong delivery date Now finally our stuff delivered then they charged us additional fee which was never disclosed to us So made us paid $ Such a terrible business Didn't give the proper disclosure during the quotation and the quotation is way off Also the expected delivery was wrong until the third time The specialist didn't pick up our calls after we tried to call them for confirmation of delivery and charges I will never go back to their service or recommend them to anybody

I hired this company to do full service moving - including wrapping and packaging service from Vancouver to Ottawa Jennifer was very professional when I booked the service However, our ordeal started on the day of the move - Mover came very late with a smaller vehicle Apparently they were under the impression our items would be under lbs; whereas, our quote was based on lbs Movers were about to leave, but changed their mind and wanted to take whatever they can take and would come back the next day Next day they were late again They came at PM having my wife wait all day Their attitude was extremely unprofessional - They used my personal tools to dismantle my furniture Apparently that's what they do per the owner, Patrick I was not aware of it at all I thought I was getting full service by paying extra $0.20/lb At least that's what I was told I will check with other moving company - They used my $1,carpet to wrap my table top They were supposed to have their own padding to do so Some of the furniture were not even wrap My wife took a picture of that Their advertisement and the quote I got have clear mention of wrapping with padding - Movers were smoking in my non-smoking complex The owner would not say anything to it when I asked - They were to mark the boxed, but they didn't until my wife point it out to them Finally they marked a few boxes that were not legible at all However, the movers denied making them any clearer I emailed Jennifer mentioning all of the above about a month ago, I got no response So I called today, October 21, and talked to the owner, Patrick, who was extremely curt and was yelling at me about using my tools (my 2nd point above) When finally got to tell him the full story, he was still arguing with me as to why we did not tell the movers to do things properly As I was already in Ottawa, my wife had to deal with the move in Vancouver She wasn't comfortable telling them any of this As I mentioned, movers were not very friendly either However, I emailed Jennifer on that day and got no response Patrick's phone etiquette was out this world, [redacted] *** He would not rectify any of my complaints above I wonder how much he is going to charge me for the awful service we got Hopefully I will get the weight report before they charge my credit card

I moved with Nexus from Montreal, QC to Toronto, ON , movers were friendly and professional they delivered the items following day , they had my laundry basket broken but I didn't care since it wasn't a valuable item I think their service is great when you compare based on the price Thank you Nexus

*** *** They picked my things up on October th and today is November 4th and I still have not received my things Overtime I would call they would give me a different pick up date, next tuesday, next saturday, next friday, next monday, next saturday, next tuesday and so on Turns out my things arrived in ontario and they accidentally shipped it back to vancouver! Then they played the same game with me again, giving me dates and saying they never guarantee a drop off date The original quote said 7-business days I called today friday because my shipment was supposed to arrive saturday and the they told me th again it would be here tuesday Then I told them they are driving me crazy with all these lies and the man on the phone from nexus called me a *** *** and hung up on me!! After everything they have done to me! I done mind that my stuff got held up, I understand that can happen, but to be mis lead over and over and be told something different every time and then called a *** *** by an associate over the phone when I express my disappointment and concern for where my things are is absolutely unacceptable! This is a warning do not use this company to move your things, there are so many moving companies out these and this one is run by a bunch of foreigners who don't know how anything about customer service and being honest about what is actually going on There is no head office, or customer support team, its a guy in his garage that will treat you like ***

I moved from Calgary to keswick, I was told my belongings would arrive 10 days after puck up by Steven, 9 days I called them and they said my belongings were in transit and would arrive September 9. I called them the 8th and was told the belongings were in transit and would arrive September 19th. The 19th I called them spoke to Jennifer as I did previously. They found me belongings were still in Calgary. After involving my pastor in the situation my belongings arrived 10 days later but they were not mine. They were delivered to the wrong people! So later in the day my belongings arrived. They wanted payment before the belonging were unloaded. The next day I discovered an end table was missing and some crates with were antiques as well as the end table. I called and talked to Jennifer and told her. She requested an email stating what was list which I did. Finally today I called and the table and crates can't be found and I was to relieve an email we planning re embursement. I did not receive the email. Through this experience never once did they call me. [redacted]

Once upon a time there was an old woman called Mariaclaudia, a fine lady of Italian descent, who loved to buy houses all over Canada and move every few years
She always did it with the help of professional movers, expensive,but safe
Recently she felt again the call of the wild and found a property in Northern Ontario big enough for her dog to run free and so full of big trees that she could get lost in them
Movers were called,price, time......
When would they come to the new place? Few days,we will call you one day ahead
They called: tomorrow 9 am............
At 5pm the lady, a little perturbed, left a note on the garage door" you are late call me when you get here"
She had tried to call the office during the day but only reached a recorded message saying the box was full and not accepting messages
The day after she got lucky and was able to talk to a person who didn't seem to know much because she kept putting her on hold to go and inquire
"We will call you one day ahead"........................this happened again more than once

She was overwelmed with happiness, until she heard that unloading would not happen until the bill was paid in full,without a chance to check for damaging or missing articles
THE BILL was double the agreed sum because apparently the furniture had gained a LOT of weight
The driver, almost in tears,assured the nice lady that were she not to comply the Company would exact horrific revenge on him and all his family
I told you: she was a kind woman, she paid
Everything was still packed and safe in the garage two days after ,when she received a call from a woman saying she had the lady filing cabinet, delivered to her with her furniture the day before
The Company, this time reachable by phone,assured delivery after two weeks
Mariaclaudia at this point was not a nice woman anymore and could not be trusting anymore so she jumped in her car to retrieve her missing files, feeling toward them like a mother might feel toward her missing children
The [redacted] lady was in Sault Ste Marie,her files in Thunder Bay
A round trip of 1500 k
Oh, and the file cabinet was damaged

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING
Made the mistake of not reading reviews before booking, and even after reading them thought "this will never happen to me"..... Contacted this company a week prior to an agreed moving date, which was also one day before we were moving out of our apartment. Was told the movers would contact a day prior to set up a time for the move. Did not call me. Called the day of the move, Jennifer gave me the drivers number. Driver says "I can't come now, I told Jennifer that". When confronted Jennifer acted very unprofessional, provided no help, and seemed to not care about our situation. Anyone can imagine the hassle this caused us. Please avoid this company at all costs. Security deposit still has not been refunded.

the employees at nexus moving company are unprofessional and [redacted]!! My belongings were promised to me 2 days after pick-up- I did not receive my belongings until 1 week later!! The company representatives would not answer my phone call inquiries- I would be kept on hold (telephone) for 15-20 mins. I was charged $250 more than what they quoted - things were broken/ damaged/ scratched- 1 large box of belongings missing - company would not answer calls about that either!! I had given them my credit card number for the original &100.00 deposit and they charged me without my approval for the rest of the move 3 days before I received my belongings! Do not use this company!!

they are honest and they are very affordable for people who dont mind waiting a bit longer but getting the same service for a lot cheaper
I know it because I called some other big van lines because I called them and they charge double or triple than what nexus charge
