[redacted] I was lured to use Nexus as long distance mover for cheaper rate it offered initially,[redacted]. After my shipment arrived, they intentionally held for over a week without giving a specific reason. I was so anxious to call them, but was threatened to wait otherwise they would never ship it. My stuff is weighted much more than the actual weight. The actual weight is less than 1000 pbs, but was charged for 1800 pbs. They couldn't give the weight report when I asked. This makes me actually pay much more. When truck finally arrived, they had my stuff mixed with others. Some items are missing and damaged. [redacted] Also be alert that they could have other company name.

I hired this company to do full service moving - including wrapping and packaging service from Vancouver to Ottawa. Jennifer was very professional when I booked the service. However, our ordeal started on the day of the move.

- Mover came very late with a smaller vehicle. Apparently they were under the impression our items would be under 2000 lbs; whereas, our quote was based on 4000 lbs. Movers were about to leave, but changed their mind and wanted to take whatever they can take and would come back the next day. Next day they were late again. They came at 6 PM having my wife wait all day. Their attitude was extremely unprofessional.

- They used my personal tools to dismantle my furniture. Apparently that's what they do per the owner, Patrick. I was not aware of it at all. I thought I was getting full service by paying extra $0.20/lb. At least that's what I was told. I will check with other moving company.

- They used my $1,000 carpet to wrap my table top. They were supposed to have their own padding to do so. Some of the furniture were not even wrap. My wife took a picture of that. Their advertisement and the quote I got have clear mention of wrapping with padding.

- Movers were smoking in my non-smoking complex. The owner would not say anything to it when I asked.

- They were to mark the boxed, but they didn't until my wife point it out to them. Finally they marked a few boxes that were not legible at all. However, the movers denied making them any clearer.

I emailed Jennifer mentioning all of the above about a month ago, I got no response. So I called today, October 21, 2016 and talked to the owner, Patrick, who was extremely curt and was yelling at me about using my tools (my 2nd point above). When finally got to tell him the full story, he was still arguing with me as to why we did not tell the movers to do things properly. As I was already in Ottawa, my wife had to deal with the move in Vancouver. She wasn't comfortable telling them any of this. As I mentioned, movers were not very friendly either. However, I emailed Jennifer on that day and got no response. Patrick's phone etiquette was out this world, [redacted]. He would not rectify any of my complaints above. I wonder how much he is going to charge me for the awful service we got. Hopefully I will get the weight report before they charge my credit card.
