Review: I ordered a Nikon D750 camera from Nice Electronics on 3/**/15, received confirmation of my order but the camera has not been shipped yet. They did contact me two days after ordering the camera trying to sell me a different camera for an additional $600 but I asked them to send me what I ordered. I contacted them on 4/*/15 and was told it was on back order and would ship in 5 days. Today the website still shows it has not shipped. In spite of their failure to ship me the camera their website still shows this camera advertised for $1310 and that the item is in stock.Desired Settlement: At this point I would be happy if they would simply send me what I ordered since their website states it is in stock.

Response:

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Nice Electronics regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I was told they do not have the camera in stock and can not ship it. I pointed out that their website advertises the camera as being in stock. I was told they are in the process of changing the website. They offered to sell me a more expensive camera and when I refused they encouraged me to cancel the order and look elsewhere. I told them I would wait to see if more cameras come in. I have not heard from them since.

I purchased the product somewhere else after not getting responses from them.

Sincerely,

I tried ordering a LG 84 inch TV and I found the price to be $4700 online. I then called to place an order and they tried to tell me that I was looking at the South American Model which differed in electrical components. This was completely false as the plug and power is the same. They then tried charging me a $1500 shipping fee even though they advertise free shipping. They are a complete scam and please steer clear from them. Also when they make a mistake in their "[redacted] tactic" they will hang up in your face. STAY AWAY!

Review: On 4/**/15, I ordered a [redacted] UN65HU8550F Series 65" Class 4K Smart 3D LED TV from Nice Electronics. Their website said that this TV was in stock. A few days later I received an email asking me to call their "[redacted] Division". I contacted them and they tried the "bait and switch" on me, saying that I had ordered last year's model and that I could get this years model for more than $1000 more than I had agreed to pay. I told them that I wanted the model that I had ordered and was then told that the TV was not in stock and would be drop shipped from the mfr. I have called numerous times and sent multiple emails inquiring about the status of this order and am being told nothing. I last sent them an email on 6/*/15, telling them that I absolutely had to have this TV by 6/** or I would cancel the order and asked them to respond as to whether they could meet this date. No response whatsoever. I wish I had checked with the Revdex.com before placing the order.Desired Settlement: I either want my TV or I want confirmation that they have cancelled the order. Can't the ** Attorney General do something about this outfit?

Review: I ordered a TV from Nice Electronics, worked with a sales rep [redacted] on the phone, I ordered the TV with white glove service in December of 2014, which is why I paid a little more, and also 2 4K HDMI cables. [redacted] states the white glove service was free, but based on total cost of the tv, it's added cost, and I only got 1 4K HDMI cable. I've asked [redacted] for a refund for the cable and white glove service, which I didn't receive either. He states he refunded me, but I never got credit back on my [redacted] account. Now the company sales email or [redacted] refuse to respond to my requests for the refund.Desired Settlement: Would like my refund for my 4K HDMI cable and white glove service costs.

This merchant is engaged in fraudulent advertising--classic bait 'n switch.. I purchased online and have a sales receipt for a Samsung television advertised at a price below other retailers, including [redacted]. A salesperson called two days later to tell me that the television model I ordered is not one I would want but that he does sell a better one for a higher price. He explained that the particular model was from previous year such that it has an older encryption system that may become obsolete when streaming services go to 4K technology. He followed up with an email containing links for more information on this topic. I repsonded and told him I still wanted the TV I ordered. I then checked on the progress of the order over the course of the next four weeks. I was told that it was "being drop shipped" but they would not disclose the name of the dropshipper. I was later told that it was in "verification." When I complained on a consumer reporting website for online retailers, they tried to have the complaint removed by arguing that the sale was never consummated. I provided my sales receipt and the review was published by the host. These are some bad eggs. Next stop: AG's office.

Review: We have been shopping for the Samsung UN55F8000 for quite a while. We purchased the "Samsung UN55F8000 55" LED Smart TV - FULLY INSURED DELIVERY CASA HDMI 1.4" from Internet retailer Nice Electronics [redacted] in which the description clearly stated "YOU ARE VIEWING A SAMSUNG USA MODEL, THIS PRODUCT HAS THE SAMSUNG STANDARD 1 YEAR IN-HOME WARRANTY AND ALL THE STANDARD ACCESSORIES ARE INCLUDED". We were contacted by Nice Electronics 2 days later and they informed us it was a South American model with NO USA WARRANTY and that the APPS CANNOT BE UPDATED and that the VOLTAGE WAS LESS THAN USA and that they don't even carry the USA model (which is a lie as it shows it on their website). Then [redacted] tried to up sell us and give us a "screaming deal" on the 4k or locate the USA model (at a higher price). We stated NO THANKS!! We will not be purchasing this Non USA TV from them. We told him we will ABSOLUTELY be contacting Samsung directly, Revdex.com & their local news station. In addition we have Contacted the Attorney General of New York. This is out and out fraud and complaints about them are all over the internet yet it appears nothing is being done. Our thought is that an AGENCY SUCH AS YOURS SHOULD CARE and stop this company and their fraudulent advertising/marketing and protect consumers across the nation who are being taken advantage of every day. Our original order: [redacted] was never processed or charged to our account. We have a pdf copy of the Actual Sales Page of the TV we were purchasing which clearly states their misrepresentation (which they have since changed after our telling them that we were reporting them). Seems to be an ongoing tactic with them (bait & switch) and yet they are still getting away with it.Desired Settlement: We want what we ordered.....a Brand New USA Model Samsung UN55F8000 with all USA Features, Apps, Accessories, Etc. and the 1 Year In-Home USA Warranty for the price advertised to us. In addition our hope is that this company will at the very least be fined and/or penalized in such a manner as to hopefully protect American Consumers.

Review: I purchased a UN55HU8550 TV from them for $1144.59. They sent me a receipt. The receipt stated that they could charge me an additional charge for the shipping size of the TV. I called them immediately to question the shipping fee for this TV and was told that there would not be a overcharge for the shipping charge for this TV. Today I had a phone message from [redacted] from this company telling me to call ###-###-#### about this purchase. He told me that this version of the TV was questionable that I should upgrade to a different quality. In-fact he sent me an email showing websites that talked about TV from this company. After studding the websites that he sent me I called him back and told him to go ahead with the purchase. I was then informed that there would be a $200 extra fee for the shipping costs. I was also informed by [redacted] that if I did upgrade to the different quality there would not be an additional shipping cost. I then told him to cancel my order.Desired Settlement: I want them to honor the original order that was placed with no additional shipping charges.

This company runs a classic bait and switch program - they advertise a product at extremely low prices and have no intention of ever selling you the product at the offered price. If they can't upsell you, or sell you useless junk, they tell you that they don't have the item in stock, even though if you call them the next day and ask them to check their inventory, they claim it is in stock. They even go so far as to tell you that they sell certain products that were never manufactured (I checked with the manufacturer about certain details (Samsung), and these guys are clearly lying to the consumer about what they are selling to discourage certain purchases and get you to spend more money). This is a highly unethical business with no moral compass or sense of decency. Stay away from them at all cost, as they will ultimately try to drive the price up to as high, or higher, than major authorized distributors, the issue is that these guys aren't authorized dealers for any manufacturer...go buy at a reputable place. Nice Electronics is the definition of a retailer that should be out of business - they will try to scam/bait and switch and one of their main guys (Nick), will tell you whatever lie is necessary to effectively steal as much money as he can from you. Stay away at all cost...

Do not use this company for your purchase.

These are Grey Market products, only buy if you are made aware of that and that is what you want, if you return it you will be charged a hefty fee.

Current phone number of company is [redacted] ([redacted])
