a rough idle because of a bad fuel injector and a bad coil. After we replaced the fuel injectors, coils and spark plugs the issue went away. After the work was finished we went ahead and smoged the vehicle to make sure the vehicle had no issues. We called [redacted] after everything was done and also emailed all of the invoices as a garuntee the work was done. From there he decided to purchase the vehicle 4/20/2016. A week after, [redacted] called saying there is a problem with his vehicle and it was park outside his home. We located a near by shop that works on [redacted]’s called “Total German Auto Works”, phone number [redacted]. Recommened to take the vehicle there and he agreed, did a diagnostic and found that the vehicle needs a new water pump. We agreed on parts and labor; Nick Fargo paid for the repairs after the work was done, it checked out perfect. After the water pump issue was resolved, we didn’t hear back from the customer. Tell us why here... [redacted] purchased his vehicle on 5/10/2015. From day one I had let the customer know that since the car is manual, the clutch should be handled with care and if not, you will burn it. Within a week or so he called to tell me there is smoke coming from his vehicle, I...

immediately addressed the issue and asked him if he can tow the vehicle to Sacramento but didn't want to have it delivered because of the distance being to far. I went online while on the phone to search for a Certified [redacted] Mechanic in San Francisco, [redacted]S was the company's name. We got the vehicle towed there, when inspected the vehicle had a burnt clutch. The smoking came from the coolant cap not being tightened so the coolant in the resorvar tank which spilled over the hot engine causing smoke. The customer decided to cancel the warranty and pay for the repairs 50/50. The vehicle was fixed and inspected after again with result being 100% maintained. After the release of the vehicle to the customer, Vahe, within in the next few hours burnt the clutch for the second time. We had to tow the vehicle back to [redacted]'s mechanic shop and had it inspected again, same issue, burnt clutch.  Customer then started a conflict with [redacted]'s shop and then from there Vahe decided to have the vehicle towed to his own mechanic in San Francisco. After a couple days, he called NICK FARGO AUTO PLAZA, stated that he needed help with the repairs. NICK FARGO decided to help him again with the cost of the repair and paid to have the vehicle towed to Sacramento at SACRAMENTO GARAGE. When SACRAMENTO GARAGE did  there inspection, they metioned that the vehicle has had the clutch burnt again and someone has been driving recklessly  because the front and rear bumper has been hit and broken.  As of today 06/14/2016, the vehicle is at SACRAMENTO GARAGE being repaired. Now the vehicle has been repossed due to the bounce check that the customer wrote on 05/24/2016 and all the certified mail that we had sent to his address on file has been sent back to us.  Nick Fargo is now asking for the full pay off balance before we release the vehicle back to the customer.

Review: I purchased a warranty policy from Nick Fargo Auto Sales in Sacramento, when I purchased a used car on 1/31/15. The purchase price for the warranty was $3,000. I had numerous problems with the car which the warranty didn't cover. After 14 months and one claim for approximately $550, I no longer have the vehicle. I contacted the warranty organization to cancel the warranty and request a refund. They pointed me to the car salesman, [redacted], and [redacted] pointed me back to the warranty company. I called at least 2-3 times weekly for over 6 weeks, to see if they could resolve the problem between them. Today, 5/12/16, I received a call from the warranty company saying that they had resolved the issue with the car dealer and I was to call them to arrange a time to pick up the refund. When I called the dealer, he was emphatic in telling me that I was not getting a refund. He tried to tell me I had no paperwork that said I paid $3,000. I do. If I didn't the warranty company would not have been able to cancel it. He has not been up front and has skirted trying to refund me. He isn't an honest businessman. I would have worked with him for the refund, had he not been so arrogant and foul mouthed Additionally, he hung up on me twice. He does not deserve a good rating from your company.Desired Settlement: I paid $3,000 and had the car for 14 months. I would like a refund as soon as possible. The stress has caused me undue stress. Thank you for your help in taking care and resolving this issue.

Review: Purchased a used 2006 [redacted] 760LI from Nick Fargo Auto Plaza in Sacramento, CA and had it shipped by a car carry to AZ. Unloaded the car and drove it to the gas station about 4 miles down the road. Didn't even make it. Car towed to a [redacted] garage and we have not seen it since. It will be 4 weeks since it was delivered and it has spent all this time in the garage being repaired because it does not run!!!! We have had it back twice but never made it home from the repair shop with it!!!! Broke down 2 more times three in total!!!! To make matters worse Nick Fargo has been of no help. Can you believe this - not even 10 miles on the car and they won't take any responsibility for the lemon they sold us for $18,000. To make it hurt even more we have called Nick Fargo Auto Plaza for weeks because they didn't send us our warranty and Nick Fargo has not sent us the proper paper work to have the car registered so we can't do a title transfer either!!!!!! So the car is still in the shop and we still can't register it and still no warranty paper work!!!! But they cashed the check!!!!!! I warn anyone and everyone not to do business with Nick Fargo Auto Plaza. Please, please listen do not be fooled!Desired Settlement: Pay for all out of pocket repairs plus send the warranty package that we paid for along with the proper paper work to register and change the title so the car can be legal!!!!!! or take the car back and reimburse us the sale price along with the shipping fees and all out of pocket repair work to date. We have been asking for the paper work for 3 weeks. This is not good business and is totally unfair that we must spend our time doing this!!!!

Review: I purchased a 2000 [redacted] 911 with +56K miles from [redacted] of this dealership. I was informed it was a [redacted] vehicle and therefore, had undergone a 155 point inspection. The dealer test drove the car with me and confirmed that I was a competent drive of manual automobiles. The purchase was made on Wednesday 5/11/16. I drove the vehicle 2 hours home from the dealership from Sacramento to San Francisco. The dealer assured me that he would be mailing me the [redacted] report. He also promised to replace the visors and provide the automobile manual, which the car did not have. I drove the car again on Thur 5/12/16. I did not drive it again until Mon May 16, 2016 as I was busy all weekend with taking care of my patients. On the evening of Mon May 16, 2016, however, the car started smoking horribly to the point of carbon monoxide poisoning. I was pulled over by SF Police and issued a citation. The car could also no longer shift as the clutch was completely burnt out./ The next morning, the car was towed to the dealer's chosen mechanic [redacted]'s located at [redacted]. As feared the mechanic said that the clutch was completely burnt and required replaceme3nt. Interestingly, the coolant had been tinkered with and coolant was spilling all over the engine. The mechanic, quoted the repair at $3600. I contacted the dealer and informed him of the matter. The mechanic told me and a friend that it "was impossible" for me to have fried the clutch to that extent in only 2 days of use. The dealer refused to pay for the repairs instead making me pay $1300 of the cost. Moreover, the dealer even asked me to lie to the finance company - who were threatening to withdraw financing if the car was not in good condition - prior to the car being fixed. I refused.Ultimately, last Sat May 21, 2016 only 2 hours after picking up the car from [redacted]'s, the exact same thing happened: The car caught fire and the clutch was burned again in only 2 hours! Only, this time I was on the highway and it was extremely dangerouDesired Settlement: I don't believe the car passed a genuine 155point inspection. As a physician, I can't risk being held up if answering to an emergency patient matter. This car places my patients, my passengers, and myself at great risk. This car was no good and never will be and even the dealer's own mechanic stated I could not have caused the damage the first time. But now after 2 hours out of the shop?!! I paid $6000 down + $1900 for a warranty that does not begin for 90 days + $1300 for worthless repairs.

Review: Misrepresented the vehicle and did not provide the vehicle history report that my husband asked for until after he signed paperwork.

My husband purchased a 2004 Escalade ESV 2 days ago from Nick Fargo Auto Plaza. They assured him the vehicle was "clean" and in great shape. Today the check engine light and airbag light came on. I took the vehicle to be diagnosed and it has several problems. My mechanic assured me that these problems should not occur within two days of purchasing a vehicle. When we inquired about returning the vehicle we were told no because my husband declined paying them more money at the time of purchase to have this option. Mind you, when signing the paperwork for this purchase my husband had just witnessed his mother get into an accident in his truck. He was in a state of shock and very shaken up from this. When he told the salesman this he said he didn't care. Also, Nick Fargo Auto Plaza failed to produce a vehicle report requested by my husband until after he signed. This report disclosed that the vehicle had been in 3 accidents. Due to witnessing his Mother's accident, my husband again was in a state of shock and didn't notice this until he returned home. We simply want to return the vehicle and have our money refunded (we paid cash). Thank you.Desired Settlement: Return of vehicle for refund. We are willing to give Nick Fargo Auto Plaza $500 as a good faith gesture. We are hoping to settle this matter without involving the judicial system. Thank you.

Review: Recently we purchased a 2003 Mercedes Benz from Nick Fargo Auto Plaza. Prior to the purchase, we had the vehicle diagnosed by Mercedes Benz of Sacramento on (10/01/213) there were three items of which were serious. Please see (attachment #1, page 1-4):

1. Vale cover gaskets leaking oil, right worse

2. Brakes system was recommended to be flushed and front pads & rotors to be replaced

3. Battery needed to be replaced

On 10/02/2013, per due bill promised to perform repair on items listed below would be repaired by Nick Fargo Auto Plaza... we purchased the vehicle. Please see (attachment #2 of 4):

1. Front brakes to be replaced

2. Valve Cover gaskets is leaking, need to be replaced

3. Owner's manual

I dropped the car off on or about 10/10/2013 for the repairs. On 10/17/2013, I returned to pick-up my vehicle from Nick Fargo Auto Plaza, the check engine light is on and car is running rough and could not easily shift from park to drive. (Please see photo, attachment #3, page 1)

I asked the sales representative [redacted] who picked up the car from Import Specialist, to come out of the office and check the car. [redacted] looked at the check engine light and said, it was not there when he drove the vehicle from the repair shop back to dealership.

I explained to him, this was not the condition of the auto when I bought it in for repairs. [redacted] asked me what do you wanted me to do! I again explained... this was not the condition of the vehicle when I bought it in for the repairs.

Adam recommended that I take the vehicle back to his repair shop, where the repairs allegedly done by [redacted] at [redacted] Blvd., Sacramento, CA XXXXX. I went back and talked to [redacted] the owner, per [redacted] the vehicle has a leak in the vacuum gasket; this was causing the check engine light to be on and the motor to run rough! With that information, I returned to the dealership to explain to [redacted] the problems with the car check engine light, rough running and could not easily shift from park into drive after the repairs.

Again, [redacted] asked me "what do you want me to do?" I said, "fix the car", he became very anxious. Again, I explained there are problems with the car and I did not live in Sacramento, I was stranded. Again, he asked me what do you wanted me to do, I again replied, fix the car and I needed a car to get home. He then said, we do not have a vehicle to lend and made it clear that he felt he was no longer obligated to me.

I removed the car from Nick Fargo Auto Plaza and it went to [redacted] of Sacramento. After the car arrived at [redacted] of Sacramento, mechanic attempted to move vehicle but is would not shift from park to drive! [redacted] keep the car for dynastic testing, and as a courtesy, given a loaner vehicle while evaluating.

On 10/17/2013 dynastic report found:

1. FOUND HARD LINE INTO SUPERCHARGER FROM PURGE VALE THAT RUNS RIGHT OVER THE VALE COVER OUT... i.e. was removed and not replace

2. Vacuum leak caused by vacuum line not being connected and resulted in check engine light to come on and engine to run rough

3. Transmission floor shifter in need of repair/replacement (see invoice# RO# XXXXXX)

Gentleman; per attached documentation described in detail above show that the repairs done at Import Specialist was faulty, shift gear was tamper with, supercharge was tamper with and not reinstalled, missing valve cover partly replaced and some repair not done at all. Per documentation this issue did not existed prior to the vehicle returning to your dealership for the "Due Bill repairs" it only occurred after it was sent to [redacted] at [redacted] Blvd for the repair. I have incurred a $1,419.00 cost to repair the above faulty repair.Desired Settlement: Your swift attention to this matter is imperative. I request reimbursement for the needed repairs in the amount of $1,419.00 within 10 days from postmark date of this letter.

[redacted] and [redacted] purchased the vehicle in question from Nick Fargo Auto Plaza on 10/02/2013. Before purchasing the vehicle, the customers asked to have the car inspected by [redacted] of Sacramento. Nick Fargo Auto Plaza kindly allowed their requested and had the vehicle dropped off to [redacted] of Sacramento. The inspection results were sent to the customers and the customers returned to Nick Fargo Auto Plaza. the customers agreed to purchase the vehicle on the conditions that Nick Fargo Auto Plaza replace the front brakes, drivers side valve cover gasket, and provide an owners manual. A due bill was written up with these repairs and requests by Nick Fargo Auto Plaza and they purchased the vehicle. After purchasing the vehicle, the customer called to set up an appointment. Our sales representative [redacted] asked the customers to drop the car off at [redacted] for repair. The customers requested that Nick Fargo Auto Plaza transport the vehicle to the repair shop, [redacted] because of their unfamiliarity with the Sacramento area. So, the vehicle was dropped off at Nick Fargo Auto Plaza and the car was delivered to [redacted] replaced the front brakes and drivers side valve cover gasket while Nick Fargo Auto Plaza purchased the owners manual as requested. While picking up the vehicle, [redacted] mentioned to [redacted] that the check engine light was on and it was not on prior to them working on the vehicle. The repair shop then proceeded to find the cause of the check engine light and found it was a vacuum leak and stated it was not related to the repairs they done on the vehicle. After finding the cause, the car was brought back to the dealership and the customer was called to pick up their vehicle. When the customer arrived to pick up their vehicle, the check engine light was seen and the customer asked [redacted] why it was on. [redacted] told the customer the check engine light was not a result of the repairs done on the vehicle. [redacted] had then prompted the customer to take the car back to [redacted] to determine if the check engine light was a result of the repairs done by [redacted] After the customers picked up their vehicle, and this conversation took place, there was no further verbal conversation about the vehicle. Some weeks later, Nick Fargo Auto Plaza received a letter from the customers asking for reimbursement for repairs done by [redacted] after the last conversation between Nick Fargo Auto Plaza and the customer.

Review: Automobile sales contract was forged by the dealership.

On June 10, 2013 my son went to buy a car from Mick Fargo Auto Plaza. They informed him he would need a co-signer for the 2005 Cadillac (CTS VIN #1G6DPXXXXXXXXXXXX LIC PLATE # [redacted] he wanted to purchase. At that time my son called me and asked if I would be willing to co-sign for him, at which time I agreed to be a possible co-signer. AT NO TIME WAS I PRESENT NOR DID I SPEAK TO ANYONE AT THE DEALERSHIP DURING THIS TRANSACTION!!! My son called me later that afternoon to ask for a copy of my ID which I provided via cell phone. I told my son he would have to come to my job in Oakland in order for me to look at the terms of the contract, he informed me him and someone from the dealership was going to come. On June 11,2013 I recieved a call from the dealership stating they needed pay stubs and references to proceed with the application process, which I provided via text. I never heard anything else from them. Several days later when my son returned home I noticed he had the vehicle in his possesion, so at that time I assumed he didn't need a co-signer or I didn't qualify because I never heard anything else from them and I NEVER signed a contract. On June 18, 2013 I recieved a letter from Lobel Financial congratulating me on the purchase of the vehicle. I immediately asked my son to see the contract and he showed it to me. I noticed my name had been signed on all documents as the co-signer to this vehicle, I asked my son if he had signed this and he told me NO. He informed me that Adam( the manager)tried to get him to sign it. My son informed me that [redacted] had another man come in and sign my name. [redacted] proceeded to tell my son they wouldn't need to come to Oakland that it had all been taken care of. On June 19, I contacted [redacted] and I asked him who signed this contract and he said" You did, that I came into the office!" I let him know that he was lying and then he called me back and told me I could return the vehicle. I told him I would be down there the next day. On June 20,2013 I went to the dealership and met with [redacted] Once again I asked him about this contract and who signed it and once again he claimed I signed it but this time stating my son brought it to my job. At that point I demanded to speak to the owner. He said he was in the other room but he never came forward. I told him I would follow up with a lawsuit and report him. He told me "go ahead"!!!about a half hour later I got a call from [redacted] (the owner) he proceeded to tell I could bring the car back but was not willing to give me my down payment back of $1900 that my son had put down. I told him I would be contacting an attorney. On June 22, 2013 I recieved another call from [redacted] ( the owner) stating he would agree to give me my deposit back if I would return the vehicle. I agreed and told him I would be down there and he must have a contract stating that I and my son are not financially responsible nor liable for this car due to the fact the contract was fraudulent. On June 23 I arrived at the dealership with a witness I met [redacted] (the owner)he told me his friend was bringing over the contract,

when the contract finally arrived which was written up by another dealership stated once again that " I signed the contract and I was returning the vehicle because I didn't want it and my family can't afford the maintenance and that I was not going to bring any legal action against him" I told him I would not be signing this contract and that this would be my last attempt to clear this matter before seeking legal action. He tried to snatch the contract out of my hand. At that point I let him know I would be leaving with the car and he could contact my attorney from this point forward. I have all documents and photos related to this case.

Desired Settlement: I am seeking a complete refund of my down payment and storage fees for this vehicle and also a contract stating we are not liable or financially responsible for this vehicle due to a fraudulent contract.

couple days before Jun-10 I had [redacted] kept coming to the dealership several times looking for a car I had told him from the beginning that he needs a co-signer.

On Jun 10th he came to dealer and stating that his mom is going to co-sign for him I talk to his mom over the phone and ask her if she wants to co-sign for her son verified all her information then she had verified all the info the same day ,she forward all the documents to us and I got them approved for the vehicle [redacted] said her mom is at work and she is going to be here by 8:30pm and I said is ok, just come back with her and sign all the paper work then take delivery of the vehicle. they came in and sign all the documents and took delivery of the vehicle. since then they had couple problems with the vehicle and they towed the vehicle to the lot and I had it fix for them

couple days after [redacted] called me saying the car has a same problem and I had ask him to bring it in so I can take a look at it couple days after [redacted] called me and ask me if she can meet me I ask her to come to the dealer, after she came here she ask me if they can return the vehicle and I ask her why she said that is to expensive on

maintenance for him and he cant keep up with he repair I said I cant take it back I have to ask [redacted] (the owner) then she accused me of forging her signature on the contract and she's going to pursue legal action against the dealer which I told her go head we have done nothing wrong she ask me if I did see her signing the documents

and I said yes the lady who sign the documents it was look like you then she ask for the owner, he was in the other office in a meeting she start talking loud and cussing laud and saying you in the black world which I didn't know what is she talking about then I ask her to leave the office and then I had the owner call her and talk to her, he told her the same thing couple days after [redacted] called me saying hey [redacted] you know the lady who came to office wasn't my mom

why aren't you tilling the truth and the car you have sold me is a lemon , it has the same problem, I ask him to bring the car in for inspection then I talk to [redacted]

and did let him know about what [redacted] stated over the phone and then [redacted] had called [redacted] and talk to her again, [redacted] ask her to meet with him on Sunday but she doesn't want [redacted] to be there in the office witch it was my day off anyways

from: [redacted] (the owner) side of story

I called [redacted] on June 22 ,2013 , I told her [redacted] I heard you guys are having problems with the car and not satisfied. I told her

you can bring the car back with a FULL refund of her down payment. [redacted] told me that's fine, ;lets meet at the dealer on Sunday , we arranged for 10 am. we met on Sunday the 23rd of June, 2013, I had one of my friends who works at a another dealership to write up a return policy agreement. for [redacted] , when [redacted] read the agreement she said she doesn't agree with the return policy because it doesn't state [redacted] Fargo auto plaza admitting fraud.

I told [redacted] ,why would I write that on a agreement when it did not happen. she said that's the only way. She also said if I don't change the agreement she will hide the car and

me and the financial company will never find it. so we parted ways . as a business owner. The very next day to verify the transaction more. I personally called the financial company and spoke to the LOAN OFFICER who interviewed LISA SYLVIA. And she said I had a phone live interview with [redacted] , that she agreed to the LOAN TERMS AND CONDITIONS. and she verified her job , income , and landlord information.
