[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: like I said before the same week I bought the car I brought it back to nicks and mentioned that there are a lot of problems with the car including a gas smellThey mentioned they did not smell it(of course) I mentioned my kids smell it and other people do as well which is dangerousI never took my car to another mechanic until after I bought the car to nicks for over after they kept pushing me away saying come back tomorrow I would come back tomorrow they would say they are busyThis car was loud , vibrating and the windows was broke way before I took it to my mechanicOf course they are going to say my mechanic caused these issues they don't want to take the blameEvery mechanic I went to told me I got ripped off and I was paying too much money for a car that was not goodYes my mechanic did my tune up but like all my other cars I never had problems after he done itAs far as the caliber my mechanic did do my brakes but he noticed the cracked caliber before doing any workLike nick said these cars are used and will have wear and tear, this is an year old car so no telling how old this issues is, it is up to the selling company to inspect this cars before they sell them not just sell them and put families in danger when they put their trust in them and ask for a reliable carLike I said in my past letters I only took my car back to nicks to get fixed is because other shops did not want to work on it because they said that the warranty company was giving them a hard way to goWhich I believe them because there are affiliated with nicksI dropped my car off like they said I was aware of my $deductibleAt nicks what they do is tell you to make a list of your problems and leave your car, there was times where I wanted to personally show them the problems to make things easier because they kept saying they don't see itI mentioned the windows being stuck since the first week I bought the car, I mentioned the car being shaky, I mentioned the gas smellI mentioned the same problems every time I bought the car to themFinally when I left the car they told me they will call me when it is donedays went by so I called them as the problems I stated should not take that long to fixNick said again he did not smell a odor and he did not see a crack in the caliberI said well I don't know how you don't smell the odor I smell it every time I drive the carHe said he fixed things on the car that was not covered under the warranty( I don;t know why because I did not ask him to do that) He told me I can com pick up the carAs I came to pick it up I asked him was everything fixed and he stated yesI had my children with me so I have witnesses, he did not show me a invoice of anything he fixed so how would I know it is fixedHe then asked for my $so I gave it to him, like I mentioned before he did not give me an receipt which is very unprofessional because if I had to show proof of my payment I can't but like I said before I have witnessesLike I said before, before I left the shop I checked everything and the windows still was broke and the car felt worstI mentioned this to nick and he said he fixed everything and to bring my car back to get another switch for the windows, as I don't know why as a mechanic he kept thinking it's a switch I need if the window kept being broke after he so called changed the switchI then bought my car back to nicks as the same problems was happeningI mentioned to the sales rep Joe that I wanted my car fixed properly and I was a very unhappy customer and I will not be paying another deductible for something that never was fixed in the first placeHe was fast talking saying just bring the car fixed I will take care of you ( that's what they said when I first purchased the car) so I left the car, I called the same day to mention to nick the same thing I said to Joe about me not paying another deductible he stated I had to pay, I told him I am not paying again for something you never fixed, he stated he fixed other things that was not on the warranty so I asked him what did he fixed he said he did not know, I am so sick of this place so I told them I will be there to pick up my carThey are lying when they say they have happy customer if you read their reviews they are horrible I wish I would have read them before I went thereEveryone that ask me where I purchased my car and I tell them they tell me I should have not went there as now I can see thatSomething need to be done, I need to be compensated for not having good service, a car that is a lemon that they are selling for a outstanding priceI sated I don't want them fixing my car because as you can see they are taking my money and not fixing itThey need to give me another car that is more reliable or my refund or if I take my car to another shop and they look at everything that is wrong with the car and type up an invoice with the price of everything then nicks should pay for itI will not be giving up on this I would not be wasting my time going back and forth if I did not feel like I been treated unfairly and unprofessionally Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I had the car towed to them on 3/17/It cost me $They said that they were going to fix it then and they did notThey put cheap spark plugs in, poured stop leak in and turned off the check engine light by putting a code inThey charged me and that did not solve the problemThey guaranteed inspection! The car continued to run rough and the check engine light came right back onI took the car straight to the mechanic and was shown the spark plugs that were put in that were covered in oilI took the car to another mechanic who told me that the engine is virtually shotIt has oil and antifreeze pooling in the engine and the radiator is crackedNick Jr's cheated me out of my money and sold me a car that they never took the time to check and make sure was safe for drivingIn regards to the brakes they told me that the reason they were charging me for the brakes was because I could have worn the brakes down driving from PA to NJ, which was a complete lie but at the time I had no choice because the car was not safe for me and my familyHe completely left out the fact that they fixed the tierod as wellThey are the equivalent to a slum lord! They should think of their own children when selling cars, how would they feel if someone did this to their child.? I'm stuck with a car that I can not drive and I still owe $9,on itMy next course of action is to take them to court! Regards [redacted]

The vehicle was purchased on March 17th (not 19th) for the amount of $4,(not $5,085.00)We do not give any refunds back as we have a No Refund PolicyThis is clearly stated in bold print on the paper work she signed That said, We are sorry that [redacted] had a problem with her used vehicleWe have no control when a used vehicle is going to break [redacted] brought her vehicle in on Tuesday March 20th at 4:pmWe told her we would take care of the problem but could not do it so late in the day because we close at 7:and there were customers in front of herShe left the vehicle but because of the nor'easter snow storm we could not get to it until ThursdayWe fixed her vehicle at no cost to her and she picked it up on Friday March 23rd.If you need any other information, please give us a call at # [redacted] or emailSincerely, Nick F*

MAY 23, Dear [redacted] ***,As I stated in my first response, *** [redacted] is making weekly payments to us since March 1st and never mentioned once she was having an issue with her vehicleIf she had a problem with her radiator? All she had to do was tell us or call the warranty company prior to repair and the warranty would have paid for it.As far as her paying for many repairsAll she mentioned was a radiator which is covered under her warranty (copy attached & marked)You can not unplug oil & engine lightsIf these lights were unplugged or tampered with it would not have gone through PA State or Emission InspectionThis is a fact.I am not going to address her slanderous comments but to say: We have been in business for many years because we take care of our customersWe have thousands of happy repeated customersWe can not control when a used vehicle is going to break downWhat we can do is try to take care of the customer if a problem occursIf the customer never mentions a problem then we would assume their vehicle is driving as it shouldIf *** [redacted] is truly having an issue with her vehicle? We would like to help herAll *** [redacted] has to do is call and make an appointment and then bring her vehicle in for serviceWe can take care of any valid issue she has with her vehicle.*** [redacted] mentions in her letter that she can not keep up with her paymentsThe is most likely her real issue not the vehicleI have tried to reach out to her but her phone number is not accepting calls. We would still like to help *** [redacted] out so please have her call us immediately so we can try to resolve her issuesSincerely,Nick Jr’s Auto Sales

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response for a number of reasonsOne being that I made a complaint on April 26th when I came to make a paymentWhether or not the company took heed to it was another storyThe car was in bad condition from day one, when I pulled off the lot and entered onto the express the car cut off (which was extremely dangerous might I add)Also they sold me the worst warranty possibleAt the time I hadn't have had the car for two months and had to pay for a new radiator out of pocket. They failed to tell me about pieces missing from the car, unplugged the engine light and also the oil light so I wouldn't know that there were issues with the vehicleMy main problem with this vehicle is I can't even keep up with payments because of this piece of crap always needs repairingI have hired a lawyer and I plan on taking further actionI should have read reviews on this company first because I now see that they have been doing unsatisfactory business for a long time and are known as scammersThey have placards in the office from the Revdex.com which I can only think are fake because this is a horrible business

FEBRUARY 16,2017Dear *** ***,I am going to try end address each of his concerns IndividuallyI stated that he put 12,miles at time of purchase showing that the vehicle was driving okAt that point he experienced a problem with his oilInstead of stopping the vehicle he continued to drive it with no oilHis negligence of not stopping the vehicle caused his engine problemAny used vehicle at any given time can occur a mechanical problemIt’s up to the driver to stop driving it if a problem occurs.*** *** was not rushed into purchasing a vehicleHe checked out a few vehicles we had for saleHe then chose to take the *** for a test rideAfter his test ride, he then chose to purchase it, He states that his vehicle was overpriced at $17,We sold him the vehicle for $12,not $17,(copy of purchased order attached)We never discussed gas mileage after he test drove the vehicle so I wouldn’t know what he expected. We met with *** *** on Monday, February 13th to go over his options as to the warranty companyAs I stated in my previous response that the warranty company got paid to warranty his vehicle and denied his claim not us.I explained to him that he is paying a finance company not us, And that he has to continue to pay the finance company while we try to help him with his warranty issue. If you have any questions or concerns, please call.Sincerely,Nick Jr’s Auto Sales

September 23, 2016Dear *** ***,*** *** did purchase *** *** an 05/10/with over 122,milesI will try and answer each of her concerns individually*** *** brought her vehicle back in after purchase with a starter issueWe did fix
her starter and gave it back to her at no charge even though her warranty only covered half the cost of parts and labor, (copy of warranty attached)We did this at no charge because we wanted to take care of *** *** We did this under our good business practice. We did not handle *** *** tax, title and tag transactionShe wanted to do this on her ownI cannot comment on why some other business took so long to process her titleThat said, her temporary registration was valid for days so there was no issueIt clearly states our “NO REFUND POLICY” on her paper work she agreed to and signed at time of purchase.Under State and Emissions guidelines some vehicles have to go thru a drive cycleThis is where a vehicle is driven to show that there are no bad codes, no check engine light, no bad transmission codes, etcHer inspection was completed and Passed on 06/20/a month after she purchased it and 1,additional miles since purchaseThis shows that there were no transmission issuesThe only way to inspect a vehicle is to plug the emission machine adapter into her vehicles OBDII Port.I attached a copy of the report showing everything was ok on her vehicleWe also did the inspection at no cost to *** ***We did not owe her free inspection stickers but we did this also under our good business practice, (copy of Passed Inspection Report attached).Up until last week (months later) we have not heard back from *** ***She called about her vehicle having an issue and we asked her to bring it in for us to check outWe told her we would be more than happy to service her vehicleShe only purchased a 3-month warranty which had expired (She could have chosen a much longer warranty- which unfortunately did not)We explained to her that there would be a charge for any maintenance or repairs needed but would give her a deal as we do all our customers. We realize the inconvenience of being without a vehicle but this is out of our controlWe cannot predict when a 11-year-old vehicle Is going to breakWe have many customers and can only work on one vehicle at a timeWe would be more than happy to help her out if she wants us to work on her vehicleWe only ask that they make an appointment and leave it like any other repair shop.If you have any questions or concerns, please call.Sincerely,Nick Jr’s Auto Sales
