Review: the salesman misrepresented the car I bought. he said audi care program came with. he lied to me it did not come with. my wife was there and heard it 2.

I was told I would receive free scheduled maintenance with the car I purchased b-cause previous owner had it and it comes with car. I even had him confirm the audi care program was still active. I even got reminders in mail to come down 4 complimentary service. when I went in for service they tried to charge me $649.00. this is a classic case of bait and switch. they should be fined for this.Desired Settlement: refund purchase price of car in full.

First of all, please let me apologize for our delayed response. I am responsible to complete the reply and had a personal emergency that delayed my action. Thank you in advance to Mr. [redacted] for his understanding.

I've gathered the information with regard to Mr. [redacted] concerns. We do not believe that we misrepresented the vehicle as having Audi Care included at the time of sale. However, because we want our customers to have positive experiences with us and as a goodwill gesture, we already paid for the cost of the 35k service, which retails for $639.84. We also paid for a repair that would not have been covered by Audi Care maintenance plan. The repair was due to rodent damage to an A/C compressor harness. We paid $127.70 for that repair as another goodwill gesture. As a final goodwill gesture, we will pay for the current service due on his vehicle which is a 45,000 mile service. We have made arrangements for Mr. [redacted] to have this service completed at the Audi dealership in Reno because we understand that location is the most convenient for him. If he would like to have this as a full remedy for his concerns, please let me know. I will provide details to ensure the process is smooth. Thank you.

what about all the other people who don't fight back. I guess it's o.k. to change the terms of a sale months later! I still feel it gives dealers a chance to bait and switch consumers legally! this is the only state this is allowed.WHY! I know what I was told and my wife heard it too. this legal loophole needs to be fixed. sure they took care of me but I know other consumers are being robbed!

Review: 7 Hard inquiries on Credit the same day, and did not give an offer though most of them were approved.

I visited Niello Audi on August 10, 2013 in regards to purchase a BMW 530i. I had called the dealership before my visit, and a delaer named [redacted] invited me to the dealership. I had reached the dealership at 11 am and quickly went for a test drive. I did like the car and so wanted to go ahead with financing to own. At first, I asked [redacted] what were the interest rates and what would my monthly payment be if my score was good. He gave me a rough figure and said he could confirm the exact figures once they run my credit. So I went ahead and filled out the Credit check form. [redacted] asked me to wait for a few moments until the finance department checks my credit score and gets an offer. An hour passed and there was no reply from the finance department. I asked what was taking so long but was replied that since it was sunday the systems were a little slow? I waited for another hour and finally when it was 3.30pm, [redacted] came back and said that it would take longer for them to get an offer, so I could leave and he would call me back when they have the offer. I did not hear anything from the dealership that day. I called [redacted] the next day to ask about what was going on. He said they were still working on it as they did not have an offer. I asked him what was my credit score when they did my Credit check so he sent me a text with my score and said "We only submitted the deal and did not pull a full credit report so i'm not sure which credit bureau reported that score". I again called him the next day and he said I had an approval but the interest rate wasn't good. I did not bother to contact them again, but later when I check my Credit report from all 3 bureaus, I was shocked to see that my Credit was Run for 7 times ( all hard inquiries which would stay on my credit history for 2 years). I had plans to get a house loan and a personal loan soon after, but I have been advised that with so many inquiries on my credit, a loan will be denied since it looks like I am desperate for loan/money?

I called the Credit bureaus to see if they were incorrect, but they said that it was the dealership which had it authorized and they only could do anything about it.

I did contact [redacted] and his manager [redacted], and provided them with copies of my credit report that show the 7 hard inquiries. They said they would see what they could do, but never contacted me again.

I am surprised that Niello Audi would do such things for a Business! I am now actually afraid to go to a dealer to buy a car.

I was advised that since it is the dealer's mistake they can and should have all these inquiries be removed from my credit history.Desired Settlement: I want Niello Audi to have all the 7 Hard inquiries be removed from my Credit history at the earliest, so that I can go ahead with my plans of buying a car and house.

To whom it may concern, I have identified the 7 credit checks conducted by 7 prospective lenders. When a customer requests that we shop for credit, we do the best we can to see all viable options. As we shared with Mr. [redacted], shopping for an auto loan may cause multiple lenders to request your credit report. As long as the requests are within a 14 day period, which they are, it is counted as one inquiry. I am sorry, but we do not have any authority to change credit inquiry records.
