Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Onsite at Elmira, New York during the week of July 25, 2016, MrRudy C [redacted] contacted me by phone about a Nissan Rogue AWD S automatic from TRUECAR car buying service referral pricing On three separate phone calls, MrRudy C [redacted] stated that he can meet the Consumer Reports TRUECAR PRICE $19,Car Buying Service Printout I asked him distinctly and, straight to the point, the price of the Nissan Rogue AWD S price $19,is the exact purchase price plus document fee $excluding taxes and motor vehicle registration fee I told him I am currently working on temporary assignment in Elmira, New York and I would have to drive miles round trip to the Route Nissan Dealership, Route East, Totowa, NJ MrRudy C [redacted] gave me an absolute assurance that he is a TrueCar Dealer and that is the absolute price excluding just taxes and DMV registration fee with a $document fee MrRudy C [redacted] was made aware on the three phone calls that I was driving from Elmira, New York to his dealership On July 28, at 2:pm, he called me by phone and insisted I come to his dealership from Elmira, New York to purchase the vehicle at the TRUECAR PRICE of $19,plus document fee of $excluding the DMV registration fee and taxes MrRudy C [redacted] insisted that this is a honest deal and there is no other hidden fees MrRudy C [redacted] also stressed that I just have to come into the dealership today, July 28, to sign the contract and put a deposit on the new red Nissan Rogue AWD S that is on the dealership parking lot MrRudy C [redacted] never mention about the $2,Dealer Loyalty Incentive in any of the phone conversations MrC [redacted] indicated that he would be at the Nissan Dealership waiting for me to take care of just signing the contract paperwork MrRudy C [redacted] works for Route Nissan and would have definitely known from Nissan computer customer listing database that I was not a previous customer at his dealership There was no way that he did not know that I was not a previous customer at his dealership When I got to the dealership on July at approximately 6:pm, MrRudy C [redacted] was nowhere to be found Instead, MrSchuyler M [redacted] and MrT [redacted] gave me phony excuses and pretended to contact MrC [redacted] I show MrSchuyler M [redacted] the TRUECAR PRICE $19,document and MrRudy C [redacted] email and MrSchuyler M [redacted] refuse to honor it They tried to persuade me to buy the Nissan Rogue AWD S red color at a price of $24,plus MrSchuyler M [redacted] tried to deceive me and insisted that the TRUECAR Car price Service printout is for a different package vehicle which they do not have They even have the nerve to mention that I was not willing to compromise.I stormed out of the dealership at pm driving miles back to Elmira, New York in my own personal vehicle and returned back to the hotel at approximately 2:am Regards, [redacted]

We had this customer come in and speak with a managerWe took back the vehicle and cancelled the deal

This customer has spoken with numerous people at our dealershipThey are in a rental vehicle while their [redacted] plates are completed by the [redacted] DMVWe have been at the mercy of the [redacted] DMV and have paid for the customer to be in a rental car; everyone has been working non-stop to get this customer their platesThe customer plates will be arriving today 12/from [redacted]

A manager will be contacting the customer to address their concerns and resolve the issue
