In January 2015, my husband and I had finally had it! We have always made such good financial decisions, but found ourselves owning two timeshares that we never used! We just recently received the closing documents that transferred our timeshare property out of our names. We are greatly relieved that this burden is behind us. Like many others, our timeshare situation was no longer meeting either our needs or our lifestyle now that we are both retired and have different interests including vacation travel. We were looking for a way to sell our timeshare points and quickly realized that there was very little value associated with our particular vacation club. And we were getting concerned about who would be left with this obligation if/when we couldn't afford it anymore or were no longer able to utilize it.
After consulting a local branch of a time share exit team and researching other options online, we stumbled across the Clyde [redacted] YouTube video. So I sent an email to you and was surprised to get a reply almost immediately. A brief phone conversation followed where you explained your program and, most importantly, the cost associated with the transfer process. We were quite concerned that it could be a scam so I sent emails to some of your prior testimonial clients and received positive feedback. Still, it was a little disconcerting to start the process without a face to face meeting or local onsite contact for reassurance. We took a chance.
The documentation necessary to get the process started was easy to complete. And Jennifer, along with the rest of the SumDay personnel, were most helpful with answering the few questions that we had. Since we didn't have a mortgage commitment, the process went very smoothly and quickly. It was all over within 3 months. And at less than half the cost quoted by the local timeshare exit office. We received our closing documents and no longer have the timeshare commitment, dues and maintenance fees.
