“Some of the points on customer's last response were addressed on our last response to herWith regard to the truck used for this move, equipment malfunction is our of our control, however, we DID SHOW UP on the scheduled date to perform customer's move with replacement vehicle.”

That is incorrect - the sales person we spoke with said we could pay for the entire move via credit card In addition the *** demanded payment before the move was completed As for the insurance option we chose, we should NOT HAVE to buy additional insurance, you should hire professional movers! The truck that was brought to our house was a budget rental truck = it was not a "moving truck" with necessary tools to ensure our items were secure Your movers were NOT professional movers either They ripped the drawers out of the dressers and DUMPED them in boxes, breaking dresser drawers as they went If they do not know how to properly stack and load a truck, you should not hire them! It should not be on the customer to assume responsibility by buying more insurance, because you hire random people off the street to do your moves If you had trained professionals it would have been done right.

On 07/**/14, we received *** ***'s initial complaint via email, in which *** ***'s email complaint was immediately addressed by his sales repand our office managerHe was advised that we would begin the search for his missing item immediately and also question the crew membersHowever, we
requested that he please allow us ample amount of time to do soAfter speaking to the crew, the foreman stated that he advised *** *** that the headboard was not secured because of some missing screws and our crew was not responsible for the lost of the screws because we were not the moving company who disassembled and loaded the bed into his storageWe were only the delivery company
*** *** was advised that if we were not able to locate the missing mirror, we would then instruct him to file a claimAfter days, we received notification from the Revdex.com indicating *** *** had filed a formal complaintWe immediately made contact with *** ***, he did not want to file a claim, he was only interested in discussing a settlement amountAlthough *** *** had elected not to purchase any additional insurance or coverage before his move date, we offered *** *** more than he was legally entitled too*** *** agreed and accepted the amount offered to himWe believe this claim to have been handled accordingly and within a reasonable time frame

We had offered the customer all that we can offerIf she is not willing to go through a legal procedure there is not much else we can doShe had covered herself for loss and damage on this move by a minimum insurance that covers items by their weight and not their value and we have no control over that

The paperwork provides a value, however, it also indicates that a level of liability will be selected on the bill of lading at a later time.NO ONE ever discussed obtaining additional insurance, NO ONE ever provided costs for additional insuranceBecause you are provided initial information, should not excuse the missing items.WHAT HAPPENED to our belongings? WHERE are they? We want them back and I don't think that is unreasonableThere were only (4) NA employees on site that day and they assured me they were the only ones loading our belongings in NJ.There are a "fixed" number of employees here, who should have or should be questionedA truck showed up with (4) deliveries on itDid anyone check with him? the other homes?They are always in a hurry, "sign here, sign there". I am extremely disappointed that a mover that I used several times successfully, is now "hiding" behind this excuse.I have opened the claim, as instructed, but that does not get the missing/stolen articles back to me. I was asked to give Jude a "few days" to locate my items and NEVER received any information one way or another.I can only assume, no effort was made.

On Long distance moves such as this one the customer was informed that Noah’s Ark policy is to receive 50% of the total cost at the completion of the pickup and the balance at the time of delivery (and the form of payment at the time of delivery is either certified check or cash)With regard
