We bought a camera from amcrest that was labeled as having remote viewing from phone and from computerThere was remote viewing from the phone except only locally (not specified on the purchasing website.)However the remote viewing using their P2P server has been down for over two years with no plans of fixing itThey can't advertise having remote computer viewing while they know for a fact they haven't for over two years

Bad customer service - place charges - never ship product - or confirm that they have shipped - induce you buy from them at discount - better off buying from *** with free shipping and availability of Square Trade Warranty

We have two camera systems and the problems started back in DEC One of the cameras keep flickering and cam masking, and two other cameras view are grainy / fuzzy We have provided data to support the issues with the cameras and system The DVR of the other camera system drive is making a loud noise like the drive is bad We have reached out to Amcrest support starting DEC through MAY to resolves these issues As of date, no resolutions and / or response Reoccurring and constant issues has been and is a very inconvenience since the purchase of both units We tried to set the time from a computer monitor and error message states Failed to connect to COM information Also failed to connect to any other options Additionally, we are having issues with receiving push notifications on time with an Android SmartphoneThe push notifications are coming in hours late The list of issues goes on and on, in which no resolution and / or response to our emai

I feel that Support at Amcrest prolonged the help I needed to get the camera replaced past days so that they could charge me an extra $dollars or in hopes that they would not have to replace the camera at allTheir support took over months in order to issue an RMA where they refuse to listen to why I should not have to pay their $to get a replacement

I purchased a certified refurbished POE Security camera on *** listing:
https:***
The item stopped working after days, I tried contacting Technical support but the automated message would keep you on a queue system that tell you that you're number is then change to for an hourThis would give yo the impression that this is a scam number
I placed a review on both *** where I purchased my system from originally and *** where I purchased a replacement camera, then I was finally contacted by there technical support which validated that the item was defectiveI asked for a refund and was told that I needed to go through their warranty process and I would need to cover for return shippingthe item was protected by *** Money-back Guarantee which states that seller must cover return shippingI

I ordered a security camera made by this company in February the camera has a year warranty the camera suddenly stopped working a couple months ago I have been in contact with the company multiple times over the last several weeks and still have no resolution they have an online form to fill out for a replacement product the service person said I would get a replacement productpart of the form I need to fill out requires me to upload my original receipt the receipt is apparently too big I have tried multiple ways of resizing and tried pictures as well as screenshots I have contacted service people by phone they assure that it will work I assure them it is not working and they say "try again" I am feeling like they do not want to deal with the issue and are not solving the problemI starting this contacting the company in may it is now july and there is no resolution most recently I have asked for an address so I can just mail the form to them se

The company sells an wireless *** *** camera that I purchased from *** on January 2, The original camera stopped working after two weeksI requested a warranty replacement, and they sent a refurbished replacement that, when used, only worked for about three hoursI again contacted the company that again sent a refurbished camera that stopped working after about a weekI e-mailed their support department about a week ago, and they did not replyI tried to request a refund and the automatic reply on their *** says that I'm not eligible for a refundSo I spent about $for a camera the (1) has a one-year warranty, (2) doesn't work, and (3) the company hasn't ever bothered to respond to my e-mails

Been dealing with this company for months they seem helpful until they find out that the product is faulty then they ignore your calls and emailsI paid good money for the system but customer service and return policy is garbage Do not deal with this company of you are researching them to buy something from themTerrible

I am a big fan of Amcrest products, but their customer service was terribleThe recording device I was sent would only connect to the network sometimesAfter wasting my time with awful tech support, I requested a replacement under warrantyThey made me pay for the privilege of sending back their broken device and getting what I already paid for sent to me

I purchased security cameras with model number *** The package clearly states that the camera has POE(power over ***) capabilitiesIt wasn't until I purchased them and had them installed that I found out that this was not trueThe packaging falsely advertises a feature that is not part that of this specific camera modelI attempted to resolve this issue with customer serviceI was asked to provide them with receipts and other information which I no longer hadI was then told that there was nothing that they could doI do not see how my receipt has anything to do with what this *** printed and falsely advertised on the package

Worst company everPlease do yourselves a favor and avoid buying any product from this company at all costsI have never written a review, but I felt compelled to write one to avoid anyone else from making the same mistake I madeI purchased an Amcrest security camera system on January 12th of I paid $for the systemSince day one I have had nothing but issues with the product and the companyPicture quality is not good (there are lines on the images)The DVR is loud (fan makes noise)The system is not user friendly and is extremely difficult to operateFurthermore, to make things worse, their own techs don't know how to make the thing workDuring the installation process I was referred back and forth to multiple techniciansWhen the system was finally up and running it wasn't long before the mobile app to view the cameras stopped workingThis system can only be seen remotely through an App called Amcrest Pro View and it never worksTheir customer support is horribleFirst, they place you on hold for a long period of time hopping that you get tired of waiting and hang upThen, they make you go through a painstakingly difficult trouble shooting process that takes literally hours just to tell you that they are unable to solve the issueAnd finally, the costumer is promised a call back from a senior technician which is never receivedI called the company back and asked to speak to a supervisor or manager to file a formal complaint and was told that they were to busy to attend to meThey advertising and sell a security system that is supposed to allow consumers remote viewing capabilities, but that service does not workThis to me is advertisingThis company should not be allowed to stay in business

On September 29, I visited Amcrest.com to research surveillance camerasSubsequently, I checked their list of Authorized Dealers (https://amcrest.com/authorized-retailers) and found that *** was listed I located the item on *** and purchased the Amcrest ProHD Outdoor Megapixel POE Bullet IP Security CameraOrder # ***I received it early OctoberFast forward to February 2017, the camera stopped workingTried various troubleshooting methods per Tech Support to no availThey confirmed that it was a faulty camera which was still under a year warrantyI was referred to the RMA Dept to start the return processUpon contacting the RMA Dept, I was told to send them the invoiceReceipt confirmed and reviewedUpon speaking to an agent at the RMA Dept, I was told that the seller on *** was not an authorized dealerThis detail was not disclosed and they clearly listed *** as an authorized retailerI asked to speak to a manager and was transferred

On 11/24/I called Amcrest and ordered a replacement ch DVR for my security system (order *** A charge of $was made to my credit card that day I was told, and it stated on my emailed invoice that shipping was 2-business days On 11/27/17, I received an email that stated my order had been shipped with a *** ** tracking number of *** I checked that tracking number on the *** ** website, and it showed that a label had been created, with an anticipated delivery date of 12/1/ When I did not receive the DVR on 12/1/17, I again checked the tracking number on the *** ** website, and it still only showed that a label had been created, but now the anticipated delivery date showed as 'PENDING' On 12/6/after still not receiving the DVR, and with the tracking number still showing that only a label had been created, I called Amcrest After **plaining the situation to the first person I spoke with, I was told that shipping was really 5-days, and that

Topic; Amcrest TechSurveillance Camera Support I purchased cameras ** *** and support is necessary to get cameras up and running I called techsupport a few times with no issue The last call made to them ended with the support worker initiating, what I perceived to be a scam In order for them to install all software and get cameras online they need to use an *** *** *** *** *** ***  At the end of the last session the support worker, who is located in *** asked to install a link on my computer I said "no" and he proceeded to open my *** and asked me to " please sign in to your *** *** I immediately told him I was not comfortable with what he was doing and proceeded to terminate the connection to my computer He hung up before I could question him
I tried every avenue I could think of to talk to someone in charge but every phone number I could find went to the same destination in *** I'm not confident an

This has been an utter and complete nightmare since the money changed handsFirst, they sent me an exposed box labelled as a security system without any outer boxDue to this, the system box took some heavy damages and was punctured enough to see the system with the box closedI called and demanded it be replacedThey took there sweet time getting a replacement out but recorded the purchase date as the original delivery date so they could avoid honoring warrantyMore on that laterSo the second system arrives, no outer box, looking like it had a rough ride hereI called Amcrest to complain again and they managed to convince me that I should test it, check to see if its workingNEVER let anyone control your logicBy getting me to agree to open the box, I am then liable for accepting the system AS IS, which wasn't discussed till much laterOnce I get the system installed and set its parameters, I start noticing odd thingsFor one, the clips aren't separating with the correct time stampsMost of the motion activated clips are half over before the recording actually switches from regular recording, labelled "R", to a motion sensor clip labelled "M"For example, something triggers the motion sensor, it stops the regular recording and starts a motion sensor clipWhen you are looking at the system, it alerts to motion and shows a little blue and white symbolWhen you go into the system to review or pull that clip, the motion sensor clip is cut to seconds after the motion occursWhich means, in order to see everything or pull the event, you have to manually rewind the system and pull the last few seconds of the regular recording previous to the motion clipSo you end up hunting down two clips, with the action happening right in the transition areaCOPS hate thisThey want to see one clip of an event, not three clips that were poorly edited by what they must assume is the customerSo within the first few months I had called tech support a dozen times trying to rectify this issueThey seemed just as lost as me and couldn't offer aid but asked a lot of questions, that I answered over and over againThey are definitely reading off scripts and have some difficulty communicating outside of the script itself, English was not their first languageI have nothing against accents or other ethnicities, it just gets to be a little odd when I'm patiently repeating a process three and four times after having originally describing the method I used as identical, and they still want you to try their way, againSo around October of I noticed the system was giving motion sensor alertsI spent dozens of hours on the phone trying to explain this and get a resolutionI have sent several dozen emails asking to speak to a supervisor about this issue, about replacing the system if its determined defectiveWell, they determine the system is defective and decide I do qualify for a replacementFirst they want me to just send them the system first and leave the cameras unconnected and uselessI demand we find another solution through several emails and they authorize a credit holdThey want to hold $on my CC and send me the "new" unit, and I have two weeks to get the old one to themSo they send me a "refurbished" empty shell of an NVR with no information about needing to switch out the hard drive to the new shellUnderstandably pissed, I call them about the "refurbished" unit and they are claiming that I am outside of the one year warranty and as a special consideration they sent the "not broken anymore" unit to replace the one I bought brand newI've been requesting a supervisor since October and it is now nearly ChristmasThe tech support staff is minimally educated on how to properly conduct customer service callsFriendly, but completely lost and useless in comparison to what the internet and some research will revealI would avoid this company and its partners *** Security and *** TechnologiesThey have sub par programming and hardwareThe cameras do not display the clarity one would expect as this system is described as 1080p resolutionI mean, what good is a motion sensor system within the camera system if it doesn't activate correctly and constantly provides positivesDo some more research, and check Revdex.com accreditation and reviews

Item was purchased and returned through *** Seller refused to refund monies until after weeks when *** was contacted Three email requests were submitted requesting to have reoccurring billing/subscription canceled, the request was acknowledged, but company refuses to cancel subscription

I submitted a *** *** on May 6th, with Amcrest *** *** *** *** * *** * for replacement of my *** *** *** which stopped working but still covered under the warranty I've been trying to find a resolution by sending emails and calling the support department, but all I keep getting is the run around and I'm not seeing any resolution in sight

I purchased a video security camera from this companyIt stopped working after about months, and after about two weeks the company sent me a refurbished camera that didn't work eitherWhen I contacted them about the failure of the replacement camera, they sent me an e-mail asking if I wanted them to take some actionI replied that I would like to have a camera that workedThey haven't responded after several days

On multiple occasions attempted to configure my security systemThe system randomly gave an error of "invalid password" despite setting up the password with technical support on the phone at the timeTechnical support did not have a consistent way in handling the issue and was told multiple times to hold while they attempted to give me a new password to "try" and if that didn't work, I'd get another password to "try" until they gave me a password that workedAfter doing that, the system would randomly give the error againEasy to spend well over an hour attempting to resolve issue with the ultimate answer being "someone will call you back"
No way to talk to corporate, no address/phone numberAlways get a response of "the supervisor is busy assisting a customer" and when you finally do get to talk to a supervisor (only on one occasion of the countless times called) they say that they will push the issue forward with corporate, but they have no number to give you to speak with th

I have bought several Security Camera systems that have been defecitve and I can't get anyone from the support/Rma Department to respond to my warranty requestPlease help
