For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The point I was trying to make is that products normally far out weigh their warranty. I do not feel fortunate that our unit lasted 5 years; A unit that cost 10x more than a store unit should last MUCH longer than 5 years. We are out $1600 and the only option is to spend another $1400 and risk the same issue again. I would like a name or number for a contact from the Sani-Dry to try and resolve this myself.

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I'm not accepting the response from the business for the following reason: When speaking with the business about our dehumidifier, they told us we were fortunate it lasted 5 years and they switched to a unit that has a 5 year warranty. I do not feel that the customer (we) should not be responsible for taking a loss because the business chose a poor product. If the salesperson knew that these units do not last more than 2 -3 years, they need to disclose this to their customers before they purchase the unit. The business should be responsible for working with the manufacturer for partial reimbursement for the customer, considering the high price of the unit. If someone purchased a vehicle for $30K with a 3 year, 36,000 warranty and it stopped running, I would expect there would be a law to protect the consumer for taking a loss.

The customer purchased wall stabilization using our Powerbraces and a Supersump. He was also quoted Waterguard which is used to address leaking water issues. He opted not to pay to have the Waterguard installed. Our warranty clearly states we can only warranty against water leakage when an interior...
system is installed. Exterior draintile cannot be warrantied because once it is covered up with gravel and soil, any number of things can plug it up. Tree roots, dirt, iron ochre etc. can plug up an exterior system that is not accessible and therefor why we do not warranty any exterior work.
