Tell us why here... we brought the car to her mechanic.the mechanic said the car was PERFECT in every way. we presented her with all the facts and the way we do business. we told her if shes not happy or comfortable we will refund her money no problem. she wanted the car because she got a great...

price and she loves the car. we did nothing that we did not explain to her. as she said, the fees are listed on our website and we are still the most competitive when it comes to price. [redacted]

 The fact that I had to sign the agreement to hold the loan for 7 months was not brought up until we sat to do the financing. That was also not written anywhere in the ad. The rate should be the rate regardless of what else I purchase. Full disclosure would be stating that you have to sign something agreeing to hold a loan at the interest rate of our choosing, for 7 months and that regardless of the rate you are eligible for at the bank, we determine the rate based on whether you buy a warranty or not. That conversation would be before I spent my time for three days and went to my mechanic with the car. By then I had invested so much time on the deal that walking away meant starting over not that they had the best price in the end. They had the best price in the beginning before everything added up at the end. Their sale tactics are deceptive which is why they are not Revdex.com accredited. I wish I would have researched them initially because I would never have gone to their dealership. Tell us why here...we explained everything to you before you signed the papers and before you took delivery. we discount the rate with a warranty. has nothing to do with the bank. same with prepayment penalty. has nothing to do with the bank. again we went over these facts before you signed anything. we had no problem refunding your deposit if you had any trepidations with this deal. you knew you were getting a great car at a great price and wanted to proceed. I have nothing more to say. if you would like to discuss this in person I will be more than happy to go over the deal with you in person. thank you [redacted]

The siding issues have been resolved - we very much appreciate that being taken care of by Rick.
There are still problems with the gutters in the back of the house that need to be addressed. Rick indicated that one of the issues is that 2 sections of the gutters installed at valleys are too short - they need to extend beyond the overlapping gutter above.
We would like the gutter problems to be resolved. Someone should call Terry [redacted] before coming out: XXX-XXX-XXXX.

Per customer request Rick called Mr. [redacted] and left him a voice mail to call him back to set up a time for us to come out and take care of the gutter issues, so far we have not heard back. So we decided to stop by customers residence on September 23rd and were hoping to talk to Mr. [redacted] in person which was also unsuccessful. We will keep trying until we can get hold of the homeowner and set up the time for us to go out there

Review: I purchased a certified pre-owned 2010 Honda Accord from North Shore Honda last August. I saw the advertisement on the internet after comparing all other vehicles & decided that the price was good. The day before I picked up the vehicle, I asked them for the complete & final price which they provided & I signed. The next day when I was talking to the finance guy, all these other charges started coming up, including a vehicle service contract amounting to $1938.96. All this time, I thought that being certified pre-owned comes with its own 1-yr warranty so I declined the said vehicle service contract. They said its not possible, that they gave me the pitch that I would need it & gave me all the pressure not to walk out of there without it. Since I came all the way up from Westchester county, psyched myself into going home with the car, having my credit score checked multiple times, I decided to go along with it since I was already in too deep. When I got the vehicle service contract, there was a statement there that said that I could return it within 60 days to get my full money back. So I did that of course & after a while, North Shore Honda charged my credit card with $985. I contacted them & they said that its a penalty for returning my vehicle service contract.Desired Settlement: To credit back the $985 charge they made on my card.

I didn't get my $985 back. If what they mean by 'aggressive' is jacking up the total price of a 3-year old car by more than 50% from the advertised amount on the internet, with an interest rate of almost 10% for someone with a credit score of more than 750, then they must have really meant 'hostile'. I don't see any reason why the return of the 5-year Vehicle Service Contract or warranty from Honda would accrue a penalty from the car dealer. I'm not the first one to complain about this, just try looking at the [redacted] & [redacted] reviews of this dealer & you'll know what I'm talking about.

On a separate note, I'm not sure where to complain about this but me & my companion received an offensive, racist comment from one of the workers that we weren't even directly dealing with. I couldn't find which category to file this under so I just appended it here.

Review: I purchased a 2012 Honda accord from North Shore Honda. The vehicle I purchased was because of an advertisement that they had thru [redacted] The vehicle price on line was in the amount of $13,399, however that priced was not honored. The price on the contract that they sold me the vehicle is for $15,565. I went to North Shore Honda for a specific vehicle and specific price and I was mislead. I intend to keep the vehicle, if you can please help me with North Shore Honda honoring their listed price. I have pictures of the advertisement that shows the vehicle and the vin#. I have attempted to resolve the matter and North Shore has told me that the difference on the price is to advertising fees. Had I know that they were not giving me the price that was listed online, I would have gone some where else to purchase a vehicle.Desired Settlement: I wish for them to honor the price that was online, they can credit the total balance of $2166 on the outstanding balance.

Review: Most dishonest Honda dealer (Sells defective Cars)

I have bought many cars from many dealers but have never ever seen such blatant disregard of honesty, when the dealership sells you a "Defective New Car" (Honda Accord) (I bought for all cash) , admits it in writing (When I took it to them 2 times to fix it, within couple of days of buying, and tells to just live with the repairs or bring the car for "Speculative repairs" . And when you request them to refund your money or give you another car or give it in writing that it will be fixed for sure, Their [redacted] says "Live with it, do whatever you want to do, we are fixed with the system from top to bottom and nothing will happen to us". All this when they admit in writing that the new Honda Accord they sold was factory defect. here is a letter I wrote today after all the phone calls and pleas for help fell on deaf ears of [redacted] of North Shore Honda:

Through this letter, I would like to narrate a nightmarish experience of buying a defective Honda Car from North Shore Honda Dealer located at [redacted] ([redacted]) & their continuous refusal to address my request to take back the defective car.

I was looking for a reliable car for my daily commute and after looking at some options on www.cars.com, On Dec. *, 2014, I went North Shore Honda to purchase a Honda Accord 2015 Model I saw online.

After talks with a Salesperson named [redacted], I purchased the Car for Cash Twenty five Thousand fifty two Dollars & twenty two Cents ($25052.22) (Bill of Sale attached). I was given possession of the car on Dec. *, 2014.

Immediately after buying the Car driving it home, I realized that there is not one but many things wrong with the Car. But just to be sure that it’s not just my suspicion and something is definitely wrong, I drove home and tried for 2 more days.

But unfortunately I was right and there were many problems with the Honda Accord Car that was supposed to be brand new. There are following problems with the Car from the 1st day of purchase to till today:

Check engine sign, Traction Assist Light, Steering warning indicator, Tire pressure light

come on and stay on, Misfire Cylinder, Strong rattling noise from right front wheel most of the times that increases over bumps.

Then I called the dealership and told them that there are many things wrong with the car and they need to replace the car or refund the purchased price. Their Customer Service department reps and [redacted] kept on making excuses that everything is right and that it is a brand new car and I should it drive it a bit and everything will be OK.

But as the problems remain same, finally I was asked to bring the car to dealership on Jan *. They gave me the car back same day after 1 hour and told that everything is fine now.

But same signs were on and problem with steering wheel was same. I called the dealership again and was told to bring the car again. It was in the dealership for 2 days and I was given the rental. After 2 days on Jan **, I was called and told to take the car back and told that everything has been fixed.

It's really been a nightmare experience trying to buy car from North Shore Honda.
