Ms*** states Northland has contacted her several times by phone requesting her address and social security number without explanation as to the nature of our callShe is requesting we cease from any further attempted phone contact and provide documentation by mail concerning our business with her
Based on the information provided within Ms***’s complaint, Northland can confirm TD Bank, NA placed an overdraft account balance of $with our office for collection on or about October 30, A letter to advise Ms*** of such and of her right to dispute the debt was mailed to *** *** *** *** ** Bronx, NY 10467-on or about November 2,
As to phone calls, Northland made its first attempt to reach Ms*** at the telephone number provided in her complaint on March 7, We were successful in reaching Ms***; however, she declined to confirm the required verification items in order for our agent to proceed with the callOn March 23, 2016, Northland made its second attempt to communicate with Ms*** by phone to discuss the accountOur phone call was answered by an unidentified female who simply stated she wanted her phone number to be removedOur file was updated accordingly
Shortly thereafter, Ms*** called our office questioning the purpose of our earlier phone callAs required, the agent assisting Ms*** proceeded in attempting to confirm her identity to include her current address, birthdate and last four digits of her social security numberMs*** expressed her discomfort in providing this information by phone (specifically the last four of her social security number)She was again advised that we would be unable to continue with the conversation and or divulge any information related to our call

Dear Mr***,
Northland Group, Inc
("Northland") has obtained and reviewed the complaint filed through the Revdex.com by Mr*** *** regarding the above referenced accountPlease accept this letter as our response to his complaintThe information contained in this response is personal and confidential
In his complaint, Mr*** states to have received a collection notice from Northland regarding a balance he has no knowledge of owingHe further states to have contacted the creditor *** directly and confirmed with them he has no current balance owing
A review of our file indicates the account in question was placed with Northland by *** Corporation ("***") on or about November 5, Northland did issue a notice to Mr*** to advise him of such and of his right to dispute the debt on or about November 6, To date Northland has had no direct communication from or with Mr*** and therefore we were unaware of his dispute until your notification of his complaint
The information provided to Northland by *** indicates the $balance owing is a result of a fee incurred due to insufficient funds from a REDcard debit transaction totaling $on July 15, The items purchased included "Flonase 120", nail polish, and count of "Zantac"These items were purchased at approximately 4:54pm in a Tucson, Arizona store locationAll fees owed incurred from problems with processing any and all payments are agreed to upon initiation and application of the account
In consideration of Mr***'s dispute, Northland has ceased all efforts to collect on the accountIf additional information is required, Mr*** may contact *** Corporation directly at***, AttAgency Research, Minneapolis, MN We do hope Mr*** found this information helpful

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/12/16) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
My bank and *** do not confirm this eventAlthough the purchase amount is correct, it takes place on an entirely different day 08/03/Additionally, there was never an issue that this amount could not be paidNothing in my bank statements or ***s representatives verify this statement provided by Northland with regards to the issue of failure to pay or there is a balance owed
Again, Northland is running a scam!
Bottom line, somehow Northland is collecting data from various vendors, or *** is leaking information to collections on pretensesEither way, if I had paid Northland like so many others had, I can only imagine how many collections have lined the pockets of these scam artists over the years!

Dear Mr***,
Thank you for affording Northland Group, Inc("Northland") the opportunity to receive Mr***'s feedback and respond to his additional concernsThe information contained in this response is personal and confidential
Mr***'s most recent communication refers to issues identical to those addressed in his earlier complaint received by our office on December 2, Northland responded to the complaint with the information provided to our agency by the creditor on December 11, The only additional information we can provide at this time is that the purchase in question which originally took place on July 15, was presented to Mr***'s bank a second time on July 30, This may explain why the transaction is showing to have cleared on his end on or about August 3, The $fee would have incurred due to the funds not having been available upon purchase of the merchandise on July 15,
Unless provided with new information, this matter will not be reinvestigatedWe hope that this response provides Mr*** with an understanding of our position
