Novellus Naturals Reviews (%countItem)

I returned the product using the return information given for a POX in Orlando, FL but 8 months after returning it thru the USPS, it arrived back at my door, with an "unable to deliver" sticker from the post office. I tried contacting the company, but could only find a website for Novellus skincare in Australia. They responded quickly saying they were not the same company and they had no offices in Florida. This feels like a scam.

Under a name of JCBeautyproduct, I was scammed into purchasing a trial product of cream.
In August under the name of JCBeauty Product,I ordered a trial product for $4.95.
I dd not sign up for autoshipment of any sort and the next month I was billed $84.95. This was disputed through my cc card company and talked to company stop this. No orders were ever received. They then continued to charge my account in September not only once but twice under another name which was 8009864178Cream. Once again no orders were ever received. Out of the blue, they sent a cream today and charged my card again! I have been on hold for 45 min and no one even answers the customer service phone number they sent for me to return this unwanted product that never was ordered in the first place.

Desired Outcome

To refund all the charges and send me a return receipt to mail back this product they just sent me.

After reviewing Ms. complaint, we want to apologize for any confusion. The package you received is a full thirty day supply, we do not offer sample sizes. In addition,Ms ***'s account with us is inactive; therefore, she will not receive any further shipments. We hope she is satisfied with the credits she has received and we apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused.

The phone numbers on the internet and customer service numbers provided do not even work. Some just ring and no one answers. Check the number of complaints on this company and product. It is a total scam The product is called Novellus and people need t be warned.

What a scam
I bought the trial size and no where did it say to cancel or you will be charged over 170 a month

My Mom passed away and they would not allow us to return products. Please do not do business with this company.

Not only did they send me two boxes of the serum and skin cream I didn't order. Charging me 197.00 per box (twice) but it hit my bank account and caused $416.00 in over drafts I sent one box back and called them and bhed they refunded me, the second box the returned to me by the usps because it didnt have a address other then the po box. So I call them for a return address. Get this they said they wont take it back because its been over 30 days, we'll see because it's going back The invoice didnt have a address name address or anything I got the phone number from my bank. And now I have the name and address or the warehouse that sends things for them in st. petersberg, fl. They dont have a warehouse of their own. It's getting sent back the 30 my *** I didn't know how much they soaked me for how would I have known about the 30 days? I wouldn't. I worked in retail for many years and never have I been treated like this nor would I treat a customer like this these. people are crooks. My bank will take over if the $ isnt returned in full to me. And I'm also contacting Revdex.com here in Iowa about this and the 416.00 I'm out. Oh and when I told the woman told me to go ahead and contact Revdex.com so I'm going to do that plus the Attorney general in Iowa.
They didnt want to refund the first box, she offered me 75% I told her no. Today I called for their address to see if they would give it to me and they hung up on me. Don't let they rip you off, fight back!

Very misleading advertising. Listing endorsements not received, trial offer then charged very high price for the sample size, auto reorder set up.
Order date 7/16/18. Debit card purchase.
I wanted to compare this product to other high end products so opted for the samples of $4.99 - I was surprised to see additional charges hit my account.

After more research I see how unscrupulous the company has been! Buyer beware! Lesson learned!

I called customer service 8/1/18 - Agent kept offering reduced rate for future orders but I kept insisting I did not want the products and they finally offered a 75% refund and would cancel future orders. I accepted as I thought that was better than nothing.

The two refunds - for cream and eye serum were both posted today, 8/2/18.

Desired Outcome

Company offered 75% refund after much discussion- I took that but also said I would notify my bank and fraud department for their practices. They did reissue the credit but would like full credit for these unapproved charges.

Both final credits showing in my account to post effective Monday, 8/6/18. Success! Thank You!

I was lured into a monthly subscription of face cream by a deceptive Ad.
On June 3, 2018, I replied to an Ad that I saw on one of the sites that I regularly visit. It said Free Trial - Novellus Naturals face cream for only a $4.99 shipping charge. I bought into it, and gave them my charge card number. I did receive my trail container of cream shortly after. However, I was shocked and dismayed to find that the same company charged me $89.92 in July. I called the company and found out that by sending for my free trial, that I was automatically signed up for a monthly subscription of face cream for the rest of my life. I found the Ad again on the Internet, and spent several minutes looking all through it, and no where was this clause to be found. It is not there! When I talked to the representative from Novellus, she canceled my subscription on July 13, 2018 which is what I wanted. However, they did not credit my Visa bill the $89.92 nor did I receive the cream which they charged me such an horrendous price for. Any help that you can give me will be much appreciated!

Desired Outcome

I want my $89.92. I was charged for something that I did not want, nor did I receive it.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

Thank you very much for resolving this issue. I appreciate your kind & quick response to my complaint.

Novellus Naturals is a total scam. I saw the ad on the internet, supposedly endorsed by Dr. Oz.
Paid $4.99 for a sample of skin cream and $4.95 for a sample of eye serum. At the time I asked if this put me on some kind of auto ship and was told it definitively did not. Lo and behold there appeared unauthorized charges on my credit card, one for $89.92 and the other for $84.95 for the cream and serum. Needless to say I immediately called the company to cancel the account. We shall see if they actually did. Beware!

Another Complaint
Was Scammed! Fell for the "trial offer" and was bill for full product amounts. Same complaint as all the others I have just read. Should have check here first!!!

Desired Outcome

FULL Refund

I've been charged again for the so-called free trial serum and eye cream.
I was sent eye cream and serum. It stated that I would only be charged for postal delivery. I got charged twice for the delivery. Now today I look at my bank records and was charged 89.00 for one of the creams and 84.00 for the other! That's another 173.00 that I cant afford! I should have never ordered anything to be getting ripped off from this company. I would like a full refund for my troubles. And send me a box to return their product. I want nothing to do with this company.

Desired Outcome

Refund for extra charges. Take my info off their billing. no contact.

I purchased a $5 "trial lotion". I did not agree to purchase anything beyond a sample. I was sent 2 additional orders at $89 without consent.
Product was advertised as a "Shark" approved item. I bought 2 small "trial" lotions for about $5. I later received another shipping which I did not order or "knowingly order". The shipping label in the box shows NO PRICE. I planned on contacting company to cancel, but did not "get around to it" Today, I receive another shipping so I call immediately. When I ask about price, sales person # 424 says the price is $89. I tell her I am returning the product and I want a full refund. Initially, I am told she can't as she has cancelled the account. Then she will refund 35% of price to my card now. I say I want 100% refund. Then she tells me she will give me 75% refund. I ask for manager; I am told no manager. I ask for American sales office; no American sales office availed. Again, I say I want 100% refund. She says she will give me the full refund. I am concerned with my credit card account number with such a company. I want the refund for both shipments which I did not authorize or "knowingly authorize" of $89 each. I want this company stopped from ripping off the general consumer! I want to know what this company will do with my personal information and my credit card number. My packing slip shows that I am customer # ***. Thank you for your help!

Desired Outcome

Refund of 2 charges of $89. I was told that I would receive one refund, but I want 2 refunds. Products will gladly be returned unopened. I also want the ad to state that first "trial" product is $5 and future products are $89. Full disclosure of price is expected for customers

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

Novellus skin cream is certainly a scam. I ordered (I thought) free sample bottle. What I got is automatic charges, yes more than one charge, to my bank account. One for $84.95 and one for $89.95. Yet other than the original sample and other creams I did not ask for, nothing else was shipped that corrolates to the bank charges. When I called, they will not refund the charges. I hate it when I am this stupid.

I feel I was scammed. I thought I was ordering a "FREE" sample and only responsible for shipping. Also they false advertising (shark tank, Ellen D.)
The extremely high price is only listed in fine print which I did not even see. The price is no where on the packing slip, no bill included at all. They won't take back unopened merchandise. They don't make it clear at all what you are signing up for. Just appears at face value to be free samples. They claim to be affiliated with Shark Tank and that Ellen DeGeneres promotes the products and I don't believe either is true after further research.

Desired Outcome

I think this company should be forced to change the way they do business and be clear and upfront about what you are signing up for and exactly what it will cost. They should also offer full refunds, this merchandise can be purchased thru Amazon for 1/3 of the price, it is practically stealing. The company offered me a small refund, and Credit card company did the same but I feel I am still going to be out hundreds of dollars (unfortunately I didn't realize what was happening until I got the 3rd delivery). I thought the 2nd was just an error and I was only paying for shipping so wasn't a big problem until I called and found out what I was paying..$$$

To Whom This May Concern,

We have reviewed Ms. complaint regarding her account with us. She ordered a full 30 day supply of Novellus Skin Cream and Eye Serum on January 29th, 2018. We do not offer sample sizes. We sent her a full size bottle to try for the 14 day trial period to see if she liked it, for just the cost of shipping and handling on a subscription basis. Our records indicate Ms *** initially contacted our customer service on April 20th, 2018. At this time our customer service agent explained the terms and conditions that were agreed to when the products were purchased. Our records show that a refund of $89.90 and $94.91 was successfully refunded to Ms *** on that date.
Our records also show that Ms. received refunds for charges from her financial institution. Once charges are disputed, we are no longer able to issue refunds in avoidance of double reimbursement that result in fraudulent activities. In addition, Ms. account with us is inactive; therefore, she will not receive any further shipments. Novellus Naturals is selling samples of skin cream for a trial basis and once they have a credit card are billing consumers for exorbitant prices.
Novellus Naturals is selling samples of skin cream that was supposedly endorsed by the TV show "Shark Tank", a show which promotes revolutionary new products. Besides the endorsement, Novellus Naturals advertising was very convincing. I found out later that the Shark tank endorsement was completely false.

I ordered two small bottles of skin cream with my credit card. The total cost was $9.94 (reasonable). The package arrived several days later and I thought no more about it. I tried it and found it did nothing more than any skin lotion I've tried before.

Then about a month later an identical package came in. It had the same two small sample bottles of skin cream. Since there was no invoice and I did not order it I figured they sent the second package by mistake. Again, I thought nothing more about it. There was not anything in this promotion that I saw (and I read it carefully) of any commitment to buy any more of their product.

Then when I looked at my credit card I noticed I had two charges in February totaling $174.87, and two more charges in March totaling $184.11. A total of $359.08, and all I received (besides the two original samples) were the two same small bottles of skin cream. Again, I did not order these. Who would ever pay this much for skin cream? These exact same products can be purchased on Amazon for a fraction of the cost I was charged.

I have no idea how they get away with this. I called my credit card company and they were familiar with this scheme. Then I went on line and saw all the negative remarks about this company. I was not the only one that was fooled by their false advertising and charged a fortune for something that was never ordered. See the attached web page for others that were scammed. http://skinproductsreviews.com/free-trial-scam/novellus/#submit

On the packing slip that accompanied the shipment was the following information. Customer # *** Order # XXXXXXXX, Cust PO # *** SKU NS001 Novellus Naturals Skin Cream 1.00 Each and SKU NS004 Novellus Naturals Eye Serum 1.00 Each

BTW, this is the first time that I have ever written a negative comment about a company.

Desired Outcome

Get my money back and get them out of business. They are a SCAM. Their advertising is very persuasive. But once they get a credit card they charge for items not ordered and the prices are outrageous. There is a web site from others that were scammed http://skinproductsreviews.com/free-trial-scam/novellus/#submit Also their exact same products can be found on Amazon for a fraction of the cost. I do not understand why Amazon would do business with such a company.

This company uses the highest dishonest sales procedures, it is the posture for "best crooks."
On January 6, 2018 I have made the big mistake to try the free Novellus cream, shipping $ 4.99. Suddenly on the page was added another serum shipping $ 4.95, then another serum $ 24.95. Could not go back to cancel so I proceeded to pay. Did not notice any warnings. Received the package around January 12.
Upon receiving my Visa statement (01/30) I noticed on the 01/20 charges of $ 89.92 and $ 84.95 from JBL 800-991-1509. Called 1 888-207-1750 and was told that the creams were on a trial basis for 14 days and since I didn't cancel I got charged. I was in complete disbelief as there were not any indications/warnings on the package about replying in 14 days (which were counted from the order date, not from the date received.) I inquired about the usage of my card 14 days later, who gave them the permission. The reply was that by placing the order 01/06 I gave the company the permission to use my Visa. I told agent 383, that I didn't even open the trial creams (size about 1/2 oz.) and that I would like to return them and get a refund. I also asked him to cancelled any order/account that was established without my approval. The agent gave me RMA and the address for return with the warning that if the two creams are not received by 02/06 I will not be entitled to a refund. I mentioned that I will write to the Revdex.com, the agent couldn't care less. Mailed the unopened jars 01/30.
I also called Visa and disputed the $ 89.92 and later this amount was credited to my account. On the 04/02 called again 800-991-1509 since the other $ 84.95 were not credited. Agent *** told me they didn't received the creams. I called the next day and I gave agent 248 the tracking number from UPS, his answer was that number was not good. Later he mentioned that the package was received late 02/12. Again I was in disbelief as this company seems to have every con artist practice perfected. 14 days from the order, order was received at my house around 01/12 as by the 01/20 when they charged my Visa, there were not 14 days left of "free trial." His answer I should have called to request another 7 days. Why give 6 days for return, if they know that the item might not get there in this amount of time. Dishonesty and con artistry perfected, these employees are the enablers for the highest level of extortion. They seem to write their own rules for charging customers' credit cards and use every form of crooks' procedures in existence.

Desired Outcome

Total refund of $ 326.05 I have paid shipping $ 4.99 plus $ 4.95 initially and then $ $ 6.25 for the return of the unopened jars, total $ 16.19. Prepaid return receipt for the return of the HBVITAMINCSERUM $ 24.95 (866-436-2160) unopened, $ 84.95, $ 200 for over a month the amount of time and aggravation spent on this matter. Grand total $ 326.09 plus Prepaid return receipt.

The order for the trial only for $4.95 was charged and then within a two week period there were two charges for 85.95 each. I
I was charged additional amounts of 85.95 twice after only wanting to try the product for the trial price of $4.95. I did not indicate that I wanted to continue this product after the trial. I phoned the company and was told that it was cancelled however, to date, I have not received the $179 they owe me. I am currently fighting breast cancer and have not worked in 2 years. I need to get back this money.

Desired Outcome

I want the company to refund my money in full immediately please. Cancer is bad enough I don't need any additional problems and right now money is a problem. I need a full refund. Please. I will submit any medical information this company needs to realize the predicament I am in right now.

I did not agree to be charged for any product except for the S&H fee for sample. Charged me 84.00 and are refusing to give me my money back.
I was not aware that this was a skin "club" and that I would be charged monthly. In fact, when I sent for the "sample" all I was supposed to pay was S&H. Yet, when I went to the check-out, they charged me 24.00. I could not go back and change this, they had already charged my credit card. I was going to just let it go, until, they charged my credit card 84.00. I was livid. I tried calling and they are not going to reimburse me. I really need that money back. I would have never send away for the product if I knew this was going to happen. I do not know how to get this rectified. I am also afraid they are going to try to charge me every month. To make matters worse, the actual product that I did pay for, I can't even use, because it is a pump product, that did not come with a pump.

Desired Outcome

I want a full refund, and for the company never to try to charge my credit card again.

Would like full refund!
Order free product but later funds were taken out of my account total$180.00 ask for refund got 35 percent only

Desired Outcome

Refund for all funds

When I ordered my "free" sample I assumed my total charge would be $4.99 shipping. No where was there any indication of this product costing &89.92.
I contacted my credit card co. of the bogus charges on my bill. I then contacted the company to complain and was informed that nothing could be done because I didn't return the product. After explaining that it was advertised as a "free" trial I was then told that I had until the 6th of March to return the cream. Since I didn't think it was a fair practice to charge for a product that was advertised as a sample, I said I would not pay for it and wanted to return it as I haven't used it. The person I spoke with, George, offered to reduce my next order by 60% and I informed him that I did not want any future products and was not going to pay for the "free" sample but would gladly return it. He refused this offer and hung up on me when I told him that I was going to contact the Revdex.com.

Desired Outcome

I would like this company to refund/adjust my credit card the $89.92 it has billed me. Also, I would hope that the way they advertise this product is changed so they cannot collect monies from products they send without properly telling consumers ahead of time. Again, I would gladly send back their product.

This product was not the product I was trying to purchase. Website was hijacked- after buying $24 product they siphon money from my credit card.
On 2/26/18 I was trying to purchase a skin cream. The website I was ordering from redirected me to this company (unbeknownst to me at the time). I order $24 in products they enrolled me in multiple subscrptions. Original receipt for the authorized purchase is below. At no time does it provide a receipt or notice of multiple automatic subscriptions for approximately $89 per month per product. I contacted the company on 3/13/18 and they offered 75% refund for the subscriptions. Unacceptable.
