Novellus Naturals Reviews (%countItem)

Misrepresentation in advertising, not clearly advised that ordering trail size product would also authorize company to enroll customers in subscriptio
Ordered 2 trail sized products for $4.99 ea. received products in unmarked box with no written information included with packaging. No contact information or any way to contact company and nothing concerning the subscription they signed me up for. Information concerning expiration of 14 day trail was not clearly visible on website when trail product was ordered, nothing directs you to a link on this stipulation, as a customer I believed the trail was only that and I would have the option to purchase more if I wanted at whatever time I chose. I realized I was enrolled in the subscription when my credit card was charged an additional $89.95 and was later told that the sample sized product I received was all I was getting that my subscription was canceled but I was due nothing additional.

Desired Outcome

Refund of the $89.95 charge

Thought I was buying a trial size skin product for S&H and actually got billed balance due in 2 weeks when I did not know I needed to return product
Bought product through website on my phone - thought I was buying trial size for S&H for $4.95 each for skin cream and eye serum. Was not able to read fine print (screen switched so fast) that stated that I needed to return the product in 2 weeks from order date or I would be balance billed approximately $90 each. I never checked a box saying that I agreed to the terms and I would never buy a product under those terms. I was told on 3/7/2018 by phone consultant Deana ID#*** that these terms were written on the bottom of the website when I gave them my credit card information. They refuse to refund my money after the two week period, even if I return the product unopened and unused.

Desired Outcome

I would like the $89.92 for the eye serum and the $89.92 for the beauty cream refunded if I return the product unopened and unused.

They shipped products I Did NOT Order, charged my account and then refused to refund the money. Very difficult to cancel account! Doesn't work at all
My letter to Novellus Naturls: Per my phone call of approximately 2/23/18 with Katy *** I am returning the Vitamin C serum for a $24.95 credit. The RMA # is *** I never ordered it. I also did not order the Face Cream. I actually refused both products when I placed the original order. I only ordered the Eye serum on a trial for $4.95.

I called 2/23/18 to cancel all 3 accounts for all three products. Katy was supposed to do that already. Please verify that all accounts are cancelled. I also sent an email with this information. I will not accept any more products. I expect an email confirming the cancellation of all accounts by 3/5/18
I will be reporting you to the FTC and the Revdex.com NOTE: Per Zach *** on 3/1/18, all accounts are cancelled. We shall see....

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THEIR 14-DAY TRIAL! It is one of the biggest scams I have ever seen and I think it might be illegal (at the very least it's extremely unethical). The product does not work but if you want to try it, save yourself the headache and just buy it here on ***
My wife signed up on 10/23/17. We were charged shipping and handling for the Eye Serum and Skin Cream (~$5 each) that same day. These products arrived on 11/6/17 - 14 days after signing up! That's some trial period - she didn't even get to really test the products before we were charged ~$90 for each product on 11/7. It gets worse...
We were charged a total of ~$180 again in December. We paid for the trial with a credit card that autmatically pays off the balance each month (regrettably we didn't monitor all the transactions). The products arrived in the mail and my wife began to think something was up but with Christmas and kids and both of us working, the package got put to the side and forgotten. On 1/9/18, I began to look back on our credit card transactions because I was doing an expense report for work and that's when I saw these weird $90 charges each month.
After realizing what it was, my wife called their "customer service" line in a fit of rage and questioned what could be done to remedy the situation. After getting thoroughly frustrated with the first rep and cooling down a bit, she called again to get the full story. She was told that all they could do is offer a 50% discount on January's "order", which has yet to arrive, and to cancel her account. After quite a bit of back and forth, she reluctantly agreed. She was told that the products could not be returned and that she should consider reselling them.
This is when I decided to call and hear what their "customer service" had to say because I just couldn't understand why we wouldn't be granted a full refund on products we had yet to receive. I placed my call not even 10 minutes after my wife got off the phone with them. I spoke to a supervisor (supposedly) and was told that the 50% discount was final given that the account had been canceled and that it wasn't his fault we didn't read the terms and conditions. Pressing him further, I finally found out that we could've returned the products for a full refund had we not canceled the account. I requested that he activate the account again so we could return the worthless products but he said that once an account was canceled his hands were tied (how convenient). He kept telling me that it wasn't his fault we didn't read the fine print, he wasn't going to keep going back and forth and that he had a lot of other customers to attend to. I told him I wanted the transcripts of my wife's calls because she was told that she could not return the products.
In the end, we were charged $460 (includes 50% discount) for products we could've purchased here for roughly $180. We will continue to fight.

Desired Outcome

Never send me another product or charge me any more money. Give me the refund of $24.95 for the products I AM RETURNING TODAY. rma #

After 5-6 more phone calls, I received a refund. However I had to pay shipping to return something I did not order. They are crooks!
Blessings

A free trial turned into a charge of almost $200 on my card and I'm afraid a recurring monthly charge for that amt since they don't take calls or e-ml
I saw their ad online. It mentioned that the product was successful on Shark Tank and was touted by Dr. Oz. I thought I was agreeing to a free trial with just a $4.95 shipping charge. I gave my credit card no., name, address and had another product suggested that I couldn't get off my screen, so I reluctantly agreed to try it too. This was right around the holidays and I did have some out of town guests come to stay and cleanup afterwards and clearing Christmas decor, so I'm not even sure when the box arrived, but I planned to give the products a try. I never even opened a jar. My credit card came and I got shocked with charges for $4.95 and $4.99 dated 12/31 and $89.92 on 01/14 and $$84.95 on 01/15. That's $184.81 and more than I would ever agree to. I vowed to never order online again and tried to contact their Customer Service Dept. to return my products which were never opened. I was surprised that their packaging had no name on it. It showed the zip code it was mailed from, 33705, and it showed a P.O. box 692208 in Orlando, FL. 32869. The packing slip was even less informative. It showed an
order # XXXXXXXX, an order date of 12/31/17, a Customer *** and a Ref.Number and a CustPO *** Both the Ref. # and CustPO # are the same. I was beginning to see a red flag. I went online and saw that others had labeled it a scam. I did find a phone number of (888)207-1750 and an email address of trynovellusskincream.com. The phone is busy morning to night and the email is blank with a simple sentence that "Silence is golden."

Desired Outcome

I would like some credit for the unopened jars which I will gladly return and total cancellation of any further product.

I did phone to say that I was able to contact the business after 5 days of constant calling. I was told that because the ten day trial period had expired, I could not get a refund. I asked that any and all future shipments and billings be stopped. That was agreed to by Agent *** Zac.. Unfortunately, another package arrived a couple days later. I phoned constantly and was able to reach a lady who, after my persistence, agreed to give me an RA # for the unopened second package. I sent it back per her instructions, but haven't seen a billing credit for it yet.

The ad says trial offer but they do not clearly disclose that you have 14 days to cancel.
Ad says trial offer and does not clearly state you are signing up for a subscription. Sample size trials came in the mail and a week later they charged by credit card $89.00. I called and complained and the lady sneered as she confidently told me my credit card dispute would not stop them. She then offered to allow me to return the products for a 50% discount. When I agreed to this and asked how to return it, she said you don't have to return it.

Desired Outcome

I want my money back and never to be contacted by the company again.

I never agreed to additional sales of additional products and they keep charging me and will not refund unapproved charges.
I purchased one product for $29.95. They charged me for three of them. When I called, they refunded 25% of ONE of the products. I told them to cancel my account. They said they would back on Jan 8th. My bank account was charged another $200 today 1/23/18. I called furious that they charged me more money. They said it was what I owed for the products I've already received. This is FRAUD. This is a SCAM.

Desired Outcome

I would like to the return of the charges they have billed me over and above the single product that I actually ordered for $29.95.

Document Attached***
I ordered 1 product on 1/8/2018. I was sent 3 but billed for 1 on the original email.

Then they back-billed me for the other two products, saying that I purchased them. NO I DID NOT.

In addition they charged my shipping separately on a separate day.

After ordering my single item, they have repeatedly charged and recharged my account for shipping and products that I neither ordered or received.

They should be shut down. They need to refund every penny to everyone they have scammed.

I have filed a fraud case with my bank. They have refunded part of the charges pending their investigation. I will happily provide you with their information if needed!

PLEASE let me know the outcome of this.

I am attaching a myriad of files.

Thank you for your help.

Was automatically signed up for an account and was charged over $180. No warning or notice for setup of new account and automatically being charged.
I ordered a skin care product thru Face Book all I was to pay was shipping and handling. That was NOT true by ordering "FREE" samples I was then signed up for an account and my card was charged over $180 for skin care products. I had NO idea I was having an account created for me and my card would then be charged $180 for a product I didn't like or use. I called customer service and was given MANY different options to get skin care products at a discount price in the future. I declined ALL offers for future products. Then was only given 3 options to get my money back and none of the options would get me more than half of my money back. I was given the option to get 35% back and when I said no to that I was offered a 50% refund, then I was offered the option to send the product unopened back to the manufacturer and then they would issue a refund if the product was unopened. The product is opened I thought I was getting something nice for ONLY shipping & handling so of course I opened it and used it. So I knew then I wouldn't get any refund if I sent it back to the manufacturer. So the ONLY option I could chose was a 50% refund... that would take 5-8 business days.
I know this is a scam (that I was dumb enough to fall for) I actually am an intelligent person and can't remember ever falling for something so stupid. But, this is how they get people and I am so upset with myself for being this stupid. BUT, if I would have been sent an email letting me know I now had an account and I was being set-up for skin care products automatically maybe I wouldn't have let it get this far and I would have sent the products back immediately. If there was something in the receipt email or even the shipping email with this information I could have been more responsible and sent the unused product back and cancelled the account. BUT, this is how they get you. You order something for shipping and handling ONLY and then you are automatically signed up to be charged over $180 I have checked the ONLY 2 emails I got from the company and there is NOTHING at all said about an account and being charged. Once they have your card number you have NO recourse. Sad that the only way these people can make money is by tricking someone into getting their product. Just shows that it really isn't what it says it is and it really isn't just shipping and & handling.

Desired Outcome

I would like a full refund of the charges to my debit card. Charges that I thought were only shipping and handling $9.94. Charges to my account without my authorization are $174.87. Grand total of $184.81. I just want my money back if this products is what they say it is then they should be able to make their money on the product instead of scamming people and stealing their money.

I feel so dumb for falling for this SCAM!
I feel like I pretty good at catching scams, but anyways I was on Pinterest and saw the Ad for the free trial that stated I only needed to pay for the shipping cost. It stated that Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan created a new skin care product...blah blah blah. I ordered the "Free Trial" and next thing you know there is another product added on to the bill. This "company" is very sneaky and this should be illegal and whoever is running this "company" should go to jail! I am contacting my bank first thing in the morning to see if there is anything I can do about this UNAUTHORIZED charge; I'll even pay a $30 Stop Payment Fee so that these crooks don't get a dime! I emailed this company as soon as I saw the receipt with the added on product, and of course I did not get any response.

Desired Outcome

Send me my refund immediately!

Website advertises Free Trial. Shipping only for $4.95. Product arrived and charges to my bank account for $89.00. Would like to enSure they do not continue to send any more product and charges

Tried to cancel order by calling number given on agreement to cancel. Only number given was incorrect.
I ordered a trial of a product skin cream from Novellus Naturals. After I received the product and was unable to use it, After reading their agreement, I tried to cancel my subscription; however, the phone number on the agreement was INCORRECT (866-540-1476). I made numerous attempts over days to get in touch with the company at that number. When I finally got in touch with them (Laquitta) on 11/24/17, She searched for my info and told me their company was not the company I had the agreement as Novellus Naturals was not one of their facilities. She then assisted me in finding a number on the internet I could call for Novellus Naturals (888-207-1750). She also told me she was reporting this error in phone number, on Novellus Naturals agreement, to her corporate office. Since, by this time, Novellus Naturals had already taken $92.92 out of my bank account, I called them to make sure no more would be taken out. I was told by Sarah, *** that my agreement was cancelled (conf *** as of 11/24/17.

Desired Outcome

Refund for the $92.92 taken out of my checking account and the company honoring the cancellation agreement. For their customers, they should correct their phone number on the agreement.

Called on 11/1/17 to cancel, get a refund of the unwanted 2nd month, and close the account. Was in the 30 day guarantee window, but was not refunded.
After being overcharged by $185 for a second month that I *did notask for, nor want, I called to cancel, get a refund and close the account on 11/1/17. The sales associate did close the account, but failed to offered that my 30 day money back guarantee expired on 11/10/17. If that was clear I most definitely would have sent this unwanted product back immediately to receive the $185 charged to my credit card.

Desired Outcome

Refund the 2nd month of unwanted produce worth $185. I am a senior on a fixed income and feel taken advantage of by this greedy company.

Sent me and charged for extra product I never heard of. Charged me 14 days later for the trial that apparently put me in that I new nothing about.
This is a very sneaky company, when I ordered my eye serum I figured it would be an auto-ship type of deal. I read every word I could find in the ad and didn't see anything about it. When I went directly to their website after I was charged, it was still very misleading and difficult to find the terms. When I called to ask why I was charged 89.92 and 84.95 I couldn't believe how rude the girl was and just said that's what I signed up for. There was no papers in the box, I was only sent the initial "claim your free bottle pay only shipping" deal and nothing else. I don't know if I was supposed to get more for that money each month, she would never answer me, she would just say I signed up for the trial when I would ask what I was being charged for. When I ask when I would get my refund she said "WHAT refund?" I just find it crazy that this company blatantly misleads people hoping they will not check their credit card or something. I learned from my mistake but I hope to alert people about this and make them more forthcoming about what you're getting into. I managed to get a credit for 63.71 & 67.44 but they still got me for 43.72. Total ripoff for dollar store quality product. There is not excuse for not giving me a full refund, it's ridiculous.

Desired Outcome

The rest of my refund and to get me out of their database.
