Management is a disaster.
Managers are not professional and do not know how to treat people. They are blind and deaf. I give NRP no ⭐ zero.

Platform lofts apartments resident
I was one of the first residents to move into this complex November 2020. While going through the application process I was told this was not income based and they did not accept vouchers. That was a lie people with vouchers do live here. People who are homeless or have little to no means live here because I recognize the program and service providers that come to assist them move. Based on the income requires I know two families that do not qualify to live here! The entire office staff was white and they moved in nothing but black residents who have destroyed this area. There’s is absolutely no diversity! There is no security, no cameras, nothing set in place to maintain the cleanliness nor safety of our complex. I’m aware of two deaths. My first months here there was a shooting right in front of my apartment window and the car parked right in front of my window was shot at and the person responsible was not put out immediately. The office stayed locked for over a year. At one point the door was even broken and no one would come to assist. There is no real manager but when asking the office staff questions they lie and say they will speak with a manager. I’ve personally stood in a office persons face as they said they were text a manner and the office person they were actually texting came out and responded to the text she sent them. The maintenance is not able to do any real fixtures or repairs. They hardly ever make necessary repairs. If they do it does not last. I’ve been without air during the summer for over a week before. I’ve now been without a functional bathtub for over two months and instead of getting fixes made in a reasonable time frame or having my rent abated as my lease agreement states I am given excuse after excuse. They do not like to respond via email because they do not want a paper trail of consistent complaints so instead they call make excuses and excessively apologize! The amenities in the office area are never open and functional for residents. They send notices for certain things such as inspections and no one shows up. I’ve been here nearly two years and the address is not updated in any gps system so it’s hard to be found. Even getting city code enforcement here was difficult because they couldn’t find the address. I miss over half of my package due to not being able to be found out local thief’s that come and steal packages with the office said they were aware of but couldn’t do anything about! This is a breeding ground for run away children and the office says they have no control of that. It’s the parents responsibility. I’ve personally had my apartment broken into three times through my window. I have Ring security cameras showing children sleeping in the hallways that don’t live here. Recordings of runaway girls I’ve tried to help because creepy old men lingered around waiting to prey on them. Children walking around begging for money. Children outside smoking with adult residents. The doors to access our buildings are supposed to be lock with key fobs and all it takes is a quick jerk and anyone can get inside. No complaints are taken seriously in the office. I almost feel bed for the few workers that are expected to make this a safe habitable place but I know that responsibility does not fall on them. I’ve sent in suggestions for security companies they said they would check into and they never did. When you make maintenance request they do not come at time requested but when they fell and I’ve had two come in my home without permission while I was home. Once while I was showing and another while I was sleep. They can never schedule spent for things to be fixed you just have to wait for someone to show and be able to accommodate what they ask or nothing gets done that day! After the long list of complaints you can guarantee they are more than prompt to slap notices in the door for rent payments and late payments. They do not go through the eviction process legally and put evacuation letters on the door without filing evictions in court. This is literally the worse place I’ve live in Charlotte and I’ve been homeless living in a hotel for 7 months and had a better experience! I am currently waiting on two people to respond to emails I’ve sent concerning my maintenance issues. When I asked for e-mail correspondence over phone calls I stop getting responses. I have also contacted legal aid and city code enforcement for further assistance. I have not yet paid my rent and will not be paying until my issues are resolved. I would recommend anyone desperate to move to not move here. It isn’t worth the long wait, Never ending redundant paper work and poor living conditions they have placed us in!

Moved me into HELL
I'm a resident of platform loft..in 2021 we were accepted into these apartments I asked several times about the ratio..if it was a mixed community and was told it was...I also asked about section 8 they told me they did not accept vouchers
Within 3 weeks of me moving in I noticed things ..people moving in with lots of kids no moving boxes they were loud un ruley and they had vouchers. Now when I say that I mean. They came from complete trash the building has been ruined in less than a
Year.we are not safe because management is letting anybody and everyone move here already been 3 murders we have no cameras but oddly enough the office is well secure and stays locked at all times...we need help!

Dishonest and disrespectful management
They hire dishonest and disrespectful individuals for management. The current manger at Crestshire Village is a total liar. I don't feel comfortable living where someone is dishonest when asking for my housing coordinator information she refused to provide it to me

I just want the stuff done right.

I’m always getting the runaround instead of being given to someone direct I haven’t spoke to the actual lady does the head of the group Natasha because every time I call she’s never a salad off is this been going on for over a year and a half now if someone could please help me in this matter I would really appreciate it my bathroom toliet won’t work and since I have another toliet it’s not Priority to them but it’s been over a week now and I still haven’t been done regarding just that one matter of the toilet but these other matters is this the uncle mine is still haven’t been handle but they website say a turn around of 48 hours which is not true. I pay my rent on time don’t have any problems with anyone I just want the stuff done right. I have 4 kids that live here it’s un fair to them about these condition

Failure to return deposit.I moved out of [redacted] (owned by NCR Group) over 8 months ago and still have not had my deposit returned. I have since moved into and out of another apartment and had my deposit returned from that landlord, but not [redacted] I have attached a series of emails outlining the delays and promise of returning my deposit. I'm sending this complaint so that any potential tenant may consider the cost of not having their deposit returned before engaging in business with this company. I also hope this will result in the return of my deposit. I have tried contacting Ms.[redacted] however the information we currently have on file is no longer valid therefore the check has been mailed out as of today to the forwarding address provided. It's been a month, and the check in question never arrived. Can we reopen this case? Perhaps they mailed it to wrong address. They need to use the address listed in the complaint or the last email I sent them informing them of my new address before I made the complaint. Just to make sure they know the address is [redacted]. In their reply they said they have tried to contact me, I'm at the same email address I've have used to correspond with them 30+ times. I dont' have the same phone number as I live in England now. I'm happy to forward my number or they can get the number from the complaint.

More than 3 months ago, my wife and I departed our apartment at [redacted] leaving the condition spotless. We have been again and again assured both from the raleigh regional hq and from [redacted] herself the paid landlady in charge of the properties that our deposit would be refunded. No funds have been received, and now our phone calls are not returned, and we are considering legal actionProduct_Or_Service: Deposit on apartment leaseDesired SettlementSince the deposit we surrendered consisted of more than $300, we would appreciate at least that amount at their earliest convenience. We are not bankers, so we are not requesting any interest. Should there be future litigation, I make no promises or threatsBusiness Response The deposit listed was refunded in the amount of $172 but sent back as undeliverable. No attempts to contact the Raleigh Regional Office have been attempted to my knowledge. The refund will be issued again at the address listed on the complaint.
