I am rejecting this response because:I returned calls to the same people on the 800 numbers they have listed on their emails, so it was not someone pretending to be this company. Either they are not a legitimate business or some of their employees are running their own scam. The refer to me as a "customer" but the "service" they provided the first time was a scam. My computer had not been hacked and there was nothing wrong with the computer as they claimed during my first contact with the company. I had this verified by two different IT experts.

I am rejecting this response because:While using Safari on my personal computer, a warning popped up saying that...

I had Adware/Spyware virus and needed to contact support immediately. I could not click out of this advertisement and it froze all of my Safari windows. The phone number provided brought me to NTS Global Services. I provided them with remote access to my computer. He brought up various aspects of my computer and said that my computer's hard drive was at risk. He said that 166 processes were way too many, he said I couldn't turn my Firewall on on my own, he said that my computer was going to die in within 30-60 minutes. I asked him to clarify because it sounded as if he was saying my computer would completely die within an hour. He said that was true. His solution was a two years of technical support for $300. When I said I couldn't afford it, he asked questions like "How are you going to make it then?" and "What are you going to think about this and how are you going to fix it?". I called Apple Support. They told me that it was a scam and that I could turn my firewall on my own and 166 processes were completely normal. If you feel that the above is the appropriate way to conduct business, thats your opinion.   But, I'm a customer who experienced your method of advertising. My opinion is that it is unfair and unethical.

Review: I am a victim of a computer service scam. NTS Global Service posted a pop-up alert on my computer on August 13, 2015 saying my computer had been hacked and needed immediate service and listed their number [redacted] to call. When I called, they said they were an authorized [redacted] service provider and proceeded to sell me a $699.99 service (with senior discount) to repair my network cross-platform system and provide security software to protect my computer from future hacking. I asked them two times if they were [redacted] authorized service and they repeatedly said they were. [redacted] has since confirmed they are not now or have ever been an [redacted] service agent. They provide no substantial service and the only software provided was a browser ad blocking extension which is available as a free download. I paid with [redacted] and I have since notified [redacted] to stop all payment to NTS Global Service because I believe it is a fraudulent service.Desired Settlement: Zero payment to NTS Global Service

I am satisfied with the services provided

Review: I bought a service contract in June for my laptop for 399.00 for 3 years.

I was not happy with their service because after their technicians worked on my laptop I had major issues that needed someone to physically fix the damage. I had been in contact with the company for 4-5 months trying to get a refund, they finally just told me no they will not. They did work on my computer only once and will not reimburse me for the remainder of the service agreement. I feel that this is fraud.

I would like a refund of the 399 minus the one time work they performed despite it costing me extra 600 to fix properly.Desired Settlement: Refund of 399 minus the cost of the one time work done on my computer

Review: NTS Global Services contacted me in August 2014 and claimed my PC had been hacked. They used remote control to show me on the computer what was "bad" and needed to be fixed. They men I talked with x509 ([redacted]) said they were in India. I paid $399.99 for their services for a year. Last night they called again and told me the same thing and went through the same routine. I now know more and consulted with my son, an IT engineer. They asked for more money, saying what I had paid before did not cover this problem, although it was exactly the same. [redacted] was one of the men I spoke with. After I refused to pay, they called back about 6 times. Once they said my computer was compromised. Then they called using a different number with the name [redacted]. They said they were sending a college girl to my home and $800 had been charged to my credit card. They called every few minutes until we unplugged the phone.Desired Settlement: Refund of $399.99 that was paid on August 4, 2014 under false pretenses. They lied to me, misled me, and are running a scam.

Review: While using Safari on my personal computer, a warning popped up saying that I had Adware/Spyware virus and needed to contact support immediately. I'm thankful I called Apple to verify. My complaint is that their advertisements froze all of my other Safari windows. Thats not appropriate. My complaint is that they used fear based tactics and lies. They lied about the functioning of my computer and tried to take advantage of my lack of knowledge of computers. They should not be able to provide false information, saying an expensive product is going to die unless it's fixed within a certain amount of minutes. I have pictures of the conversation with the tech and the screens they used to induce fear.Desired Settlement: NTS Global Services should not be allowed to advertise their services this way. They should be held accountable to honest business practices. They should not be lying to induce fear to gain business.

Review: Feb 27 2015 I recieved a notice my computer was bugged. I called the number on the screen which was supposed to be supported by [redacted] and after giving my Debit Card I found out they were not. I quickly cancelled all services and was told my card would not be charged. It is now February 5 and my card still has a hold of $299.99 on it. They keep giving me the run around its going to be credited on the 2, 3 ,4 5 and nothing. The bank can't do anything about it until they release it which it was supposed to have been done 5 days ago. These people are a joke and their service is a croc. When you ask for the billing manager they transfer you to the same guy who gives a different name. I don't know what scam they are running but know that [redacted] support will take care of [redacted] products NEVER go to a t2nd or 3rd party for a fix.Desired Settlement: I am waiting for my refund. If its not there by February 6, 2015 I told them I will take legal action

Review: I paid $300 for my computer to be fixed. After dealing with the company for awhile it was discovered that it was a hardware issue and therefore they could not resolve this.( they can only fix software problems) I was told I would receive a full refund because of this. It has been 2 and a half months and they still have not refunded my $. I have spoken to at least 15 people who all give me the run around when I call. I always ask to speak to [redacted], the manager who said I would receive the refund and he is either in a meeting, not there and the latest is he is on leave for a personal matter. I have sent [redacted] several emails with no response. I have all the emails of our correspondence in the beginning when he confirmed the refund. I am always told that they will call me back to resolve this and they never do.Desired Settlement: To receive a $300 refund as promised because their services couldn't fix my computer.

Response:

Below is the refund note from NTS Senior Project Manager Mr. [redacted] for the customer [redacted];“We had promised [redacted] a refund (email attached below), seems it did not reach the customer and they filed a complaint with Revdex.com.”Refer attached email.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: it ended up being a hardware issue which they were unable to resolve. They only deal with software problems and it took many phone calls and time to discover that this was the actual problem. I have email attachments confirming my refund from [redacted] to follow.

This woman was very helpful in fixing my computer. She also installed [redacted] for me too. Thank you
