August 11, 2015Revdex.com 7007 Jefferson St NE Ste A Albuquerque, NM 87109Re: Management response to Revdex.com Claim #[redacted]       Nusenda Credit UnionDear Sir or Madame,The concerns from the Revdex.com Claim #[redacted] have been...

investigated and completed. Our review included interviewing Credit Union staff, reviewing system notes and this individual's account history. Based on our research, the Credit Union acted in accordance with all applicable regulations, law and policy.A member of the credit union, other than Mr, [redacted], issued a check to [redacted] where the signature endorsement goes through the account line. [redacted] converted the check to an Automated Clearing House (ACH) item, but due to the ink covering the account line, the item was designated with Mr. [redacted]' member number and processed through his account. Mr. [redacted] placed an ACH stop and the item was returned without withdrawing the funds from his account. [redacted] then sent the item through for payment by depositing the physical check through their financial institution. The financial institution cleared the check through the Federal Reserve system. The Federal Reserve system made the same error due to the signature endorsement problem described above. The Federal Reserve clears checks through a different channel, causing the Automated Clearing House stop payment to be ineffective.Nusenda Credit Union corrected the Federal Reserve's error and refunded all charges, including fees, on August 6, 2015.If you have any questions regarding this response, please write to me at the above address.Sincerely, David W[redacted]SVP, Service DeliveryNusenda Credit Union
