Every interaction I have had with Oakpoint, from the office manager Stacy to the technician Eric has been top notch! They are completely knowledgeable and do excellent work. We bought our house a year ago and inherited the current HVAC system. Both Stacy and Eric did lots of extra legwork to figure out where the broken part on our unit (which is expensive) came from so it could be replaced under warranty. I couldn?t be more thrilled with their service and there is no one else I will be calling for our heating and air needs!

About 3 weeks ago our upstairs AC unit went out and we called around to several companies and the earliest someone could get out was 3 or 4 days out. We got a hotel and figured we would be there a few days. I called Oak Point Heating & Air and Eric was able to come out the very next day and had the air working the same day. He was at our home until 9pm that evening replaced the entire upstairs unit. Once he was done, I called around to price the repairs he made to see if he took advantage of our situation and THE PRICE WAS CHEAPER THEN ALL BUT ONE, and I would not have used them because there was no warranty. Needless to say we are customers for LIFE.

Our AC went out on a Friday morning and our home warranty gave me 4 contractors to contact. Eric from OakPoint was at out house with 4 hours and AC was back up and running. That evening the compressor goes out Eric and Staci helped me with the warranty company and the next Friday he was back installing a Compressor. Still didn?t fix the issue put in for a whole new unit on Monday by Thursday was out installing and we have AC again!! Eric and Staci helped explain everything, helped with the warranty company and was always there to answer my calls in the evenings or the weekends! OakPoint is my number 1 AC company and I will be telling all my family and Friends!!

Called My warranty Company Total Home and they came out within a couple hours and fixed my air problem. Eric is the Man. This is the second time in couple years I've used them. I specifically requested them because of how timely professional and courteous they are. Def 5 star experience.

Eric was sent out to fix a issue that had been going on for months due to another companies mistake. He had to completely rewrite the previous installation to meet code. No my family is safe and my AC can operate properly. Highly recommend this company!!!

I found out about this company through the Home Warranty....I had no idea who they were sending, I had no reference what so ever, I gave them a call and the lady that answered the phone was nice and courteous, she made the appointment for the next day. They called me in advances to make sure we were at home. Eric showed up exactly in one hour like she told me and he greeted nicely, felt our pain since it was over 85 degrees in the house and immediately went to work, few minutes took him to fix out unit and he explained to me what was going on. I will recommend this company!! Thanks!!

Oak Point Heating and Air, LLC deserves much more than a 5 star rating! Our A/C went out on Thursday 5/30/19 late in the evening, we gave them a call yesterday 5/31/19 Eric came with in 2 hours to evaluate our failed System and came to determine that our 20 yr old system was done. 6/1/19 @ 7:30am Eric & his crew showed up & by 1pm we have a cold house again!! Staci was able to get us great financing & easy affordable payments. Thank you so much Oak Point Heating and Air, LLC for the fast & great service!!

I have used Eric and his company for the last eight years for my A/C & Heating. I have always had outstanding service & experience from him and his company. This included a new installation and bi-annual maintenance. I had had very few issues and when I have needed assistance they have been very responsive and have resolved everything. I appreciate the ease at which I am able to communicate with them & enjoy supporting a family owned business.

Eric was great! We had another company to come out that was horrible. They did not fix the issues I was having with my air conditioner and when I called back on several occasions they would not answer my calls. Eric was very professional and explained what he was doing and why. He had to turn off my unit for some time for trouble shooting and came back the same day to evaluate it. I would recommend them to anyone having issues with their unit!

Oak Point is responsible for damages incurred due to negligence on their part with submitting documents needed to Home Warranty of America.
On June 25, 2018, a claim was made to HWA for AC Repairs on a 19-year-old *** Conditioning system.
The home warranty company sent the same HVAC company who previously serviced our unit in the summer of 2017, after we purchased the home January 2018.
June 26, 2018, Oak Point Heating & Air came out to add Freon to the unit, which lasted 1 hour. The AC company came back to the property 2 days later 6/28 and added more Freon and cleaned the condenser coils. Unit cooled for another hour until the Freon ran out once again. ***, the technician came back out on Sunday 6/30 and stated the unit is not operating and would submit the information/claim to replace the unit, due to its age and unrepairable.
As the days, then weeks went by without any resolution and many phone calls to both HWA and Oak Point HVAC and triple digit heat in Texas, we eventually had to purchase a whole new HVAC system from Sears.
During the dates of 06/25 through 07/18, we have documented (via cell phone records) over 30 calls and texts were made to Oak Point & HWA to address the issue. Home Warranty of America had informed us that they had never received the documentation from Oak Point HVAC to review the response. Oak Point had stated to myself and my spouse that they had uploaded the necessary documents through the vendor portal. After sending *** a 2nd request for documents, she informed me that she would send me the documents that were uploaded. I never received the documents nor an email or phone call to help resolve this issue.
Home Warranty reached out to me via email stating that since they had never received the documents from Oak Point HVAC, they offered a settlement to us. I communicated back to the home warranty that I had requested the documents from Oak Point and would be in touch once I had them in my possession.
Oak Point has ignored our communication efforts and refused to respond.
We were forced to purchase a new unit after 4 weeks of unbearable heat, which cost us $ 9,162.21 (invoice/estimates attached).
We would like to see accountability on the company's behalf and restitution for the full amount of $9,161.21 for the expense of the new AC unit since they are negligent in reporting the necessary documents to the home warranty company as stated in our contract as homeowners.

This is a response to the complaint that I believe was mistakenly filed against my company Oak Point Heating and Air LLC.
In this instance, the customer had a home service contract with Home Warranty of America. We perform services for HWA to their customers. When Home Warranty of America rejected the claim that we submitted on behalf of the customer ***, the customer felt that this was somehow Oak Point Heating and Air LLC's decision. The reason for the rejection was due to HWA stating they did not receive documentation from our company. We submitted documentation to them via their online contractor portal several times and via phone call. They still claimed it was never received. While we have empathy for the customer and the situation they encountered with HWA, the claim was not rejected by us or due to any lack of communication on our part.

My experience with Eric was excellent!!! He came on time and was very straightforward and trustworthy. The HVAC system in our home had been performing poorly for about 15 years, we purchased this home about 20 years ago. Some rooms were either too cold during the Winter or too hot during the Summer. The old system was operating, but very poorly in my opinion.
I received 3 other quotes from very reputable contractors to bid on this job which I knew would be expensive. I do not expect to move anytime soon and the house is equipped with solar panels that cannot be expanded further due to rules with our HOA. I wanted the absolute most energy efficient system to take full advantage of the available solar and accepting the long payback as I expect to own the home for a long time.
Arriving on time and ready to go was a crew headed by ERIC ***. They promptly and skillfully performed the tasks of removing and installing the equipment like a high-performance world class sports team. I observed the team each working diligently and effectively removing and installing the equipment working in our yard, garage, attic, and in the crawl space in the house. They were very careful to install the new larger system, it was very impressive team work!
The total installation took two days to complete. The cleaned and swept and was very clean in performing all their work and removing my old equipment. Part of the replacement was a duct leakage test. The crew was attentive to fixing leaks in the old supply system and repairing any damaged duct insulation. I put the system into operation and immediately I saw that the warm rooms were now cold uniformly with the rest of the house. I HIGHLY recommend the Oak Point Heating and Air Service Experts team.
