came on time --did exactly what I wantedtrimmed front tree to my satisfaction, asked to take a look to see if I wanted anything else trimmed They did back yard trees to perfectioncleaned up everything!!! They came with four trucks and a good size crewwould highly recommend themthey made sure I was happy with what they did!!!!

Bob Alexander Landscaping finished a comprehensive landscape job at our Lake House in May of The job included demolition of a rotting year old cross tie retaining wall, rotting cross tie step systems and removal of many of our existing landscape plantsThey also removed additional trees, bushes and bramble to create new landscape areasThey replaced the cross tie retaining wall and step systems with stoneThey also created a parking area we needed with another stone wall, and created a fire pit area with additional stone workAaron A [redacted] , the man we dealt with from start to finish was very easy to work with, and was responsive to our wishes, but he also gave our ideas direction where neededAaron met with us to pick out our new landscape plants so that we got what we wanted, while helping us choose plants that would work well in the various bedding areasAaron and his employees were respectful of our wishes and our property, and kept the job site neat and clean at all timesWe are thrilled with our new landscaping, and would not hesitate to use Bob Alexander Landscaping on a future jobWe definitely would recommend this company to anyone who is interested in quality stone and landscape work

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowUnfortunately, the response from the owner of Oakes tree service is completely untrueI'm not sure why he came to the property since he obviously had no intention of finding a compromise to the issue that his company causedWhen I opened the door, he rolled his eyes....which indicated he was frustrated and he had already made up his mind and had an excuse for the poor job that was doneApparently Oakes does not even find a copy of the contractHe had asked me to fax him a copy the night before we metI don't have a fax machine and couldn't help himHe did not come to my house with a copy...indicating that his company does not keep accurate records Anyway, the contract does have the word "flush cut" on it [redacted] said many times that flush does not indicate the stump would be flush with the groundHis friend/employee was very clear in words that the stump would be flush...or possibly an inch above the ground...and I could cover it with the weed barrier that is next to the tree....and the mulch that is also near the treeIn fact he didn't even consider that the stump would need to be removedHe pretty much guaranteed that the ground would settle in "a few days"When I called a few days later, he said he would stop by and "take care of it"That never happened, and once the bill was paid, he did not return my phone calls Again, the contract says the tree stump would be "flush" and that the tree would be removed from my propertyThat did not happen either Now, I just want a refund so I can hire someone to do the job correctlyI no longer trust Oakes Tree Service...and I don't want people with disgruntled attitudes on my property Regards, [redacted]

Our workers have stopped by this customers residence multiple times to fix her fence, each time she was satisfied with the way it was fixed, until a few days later when she would call our office again to complain.It should be noted that each time we were at her residence she was belligerent and

I just left the customer's house, I have explained different times that we were going to make it flush to the root wall, which it isThe tree is on a mound in the backyard and it fell over and had
partially uprootedI had instructed the customer from the beginning that we would know what else would need to be done after the ground settled and that it would be an additional chargeTo grind up the stump is going to require extra equipment/machinery that is difficult to get back thereI explained that we can do it but it will cost approximately $more

I consider the Oakes Tree Service response inaccurate and defamatory.? ? I personally have had NO face-to-face contact with anyone from Oakes ??" EVER (my husband interacted the transaction on the day the tree was removed)? I have called and emailed periodically because I had not received any response, nor had the fence received any obvious attention, as a result of my prior communications.As of 6:am this morning, the fence is still out of alignment and in need of adjustment; just as it has been since 8/and no different than the photo supplied to them with the September email.I checked with my neighbor last night, on the other side of the fence who also had tree work done, thinking they may have been communicating with her in errorShe reports no inquiries or contact whatsoever from Oakes regarding our fence.If Oakes will provide dates/approxtimes of purported interactions with me at my home, I should easily be able to detail my whereabouts elsewhere to assist in confirming the inaccuracies of the response.? If there is additional information that would be helpful, I’m most happy to provideIn summary, the response doesn’t line up and adds a new dimension to my frustration and concernThank you for your time and attention

I remain on record with concern regarding the initial Oakes response of November 8 and the inaccuracies therein regarding visits to my home to fix the fence that did not happen, conversations with me that did not occur, and their assessment regarding my state of my being in spite of no interaction with me whatsoever.  The only thing I can agree with within that response is that we will not be doing business with them in the future!
