Company Is a JOKEWoke up on a brisk morning to a brick in my back window on my Infiniti QCalled my premium insurance company to get it taken care ofhours later and a couple of headaches, Finally someone answer`s ONE of their customer claims line.(funny how every review states that this company has the worst customer answer time and service) Finally answered, I immediately began the whole verification process, Then was told because I have full coverage insurance, that this would be no problemFurthermore, I was given the information of a company in Pinellas Park( Datillos Collision) where they would service my vehicleI just so happened to call the company while still on the phone with Ocean Harbor, to make sure that the information that this representative of the company was giving me was true and forthcomingOF COURSE, IT WAS NOTThe representative for Ocean Harbor told me that I would be able(SInce full comprehensive coverage was on the vehicle) to walk in to the store, they would fix it for free with a claim number, and would be on my merry wayI called the company and they told me that they're just a BODY SHOPMoving forward, The gentlemen which they referred me to advised me that this company gives the run around to almost every customer that he deals from this so called insurance companyWhile still on the phone with both companies, I was greeted by another representative from Ocean Harbor that told me I was on the phone with a "Trainee"(Im pretty sure companies have to disclose that, WHICH THEY DID NOT) The new representative (***) then told me that the information that I received from the first representative was False(LOL)(at this point, I am starting to believe all the reviews, because this is the TOTAL RUN AROUND)I was given the number then to Satellite Auto glass and told that I would have to pay for the damages(go figure, a deductible) even though I have Full Comprehensive Coverage, and they would cover the restOnce again, I asked ***(The new, not trainee representative) if she minded if I call this company just to make sure that the information that I was given, was true while she was on the line, she obligedGreeted by Satelite Autoglass in under minutes, of course the representative told me that with Ocean Harbor they, "Per the Request of Ocean Harbor" MUST go through a Verification Process to make sure I`m covered, and that this process is very extensive and long and although being on the phone with both companies, there was nothing I could doWhen I asked *** she confirmed such information, and when I asked her why she did not inform me of this said information, well you can guess where this is goingI proceeded to find out how much the actual back window would be, then realized I should not have even bothered with the company in the first placeProbably would have saved myself a lot of headache and time if I just realized that I would have to pay for it anywaysObviously I`m going to keep paying the high service monthly because it is unlawful to drive in the state of Florida without insuranceVery curious as to how they`re going to respond to this, should be entertaining

I am here to tell you the OCEAN HARBOR CASUALTY INSURANCE COMPANY never answers the phone I have been calling them to find the progress on a claim for a week and finally after calling every day they were open I get in touch with someone Meanwhile my car is not drivable and got towed by another company I had to push it into a parking lot The towing company is charging dollars for a tow and dollars a day storage They promised to pick my car up on Thursday February 16th and that was the day after the accident (WedFeb 15thbecause you can only report a claim from 8pm to 4pm I was on hold for minutes before someone answered on Thursday and she only got done with half my information before she said she had to call me backShe also promised to have someone come and get my car on by the end of the day on Thursday I find out my car was never picked up by them at allThe next day (Friday February 17th I called several times never talking to ANYONEWhen I call I am immediately put on hold for at LEAST min Sometimes an hour and a half before I give up ! time I pushed a button and it gave me a recording that I could leave a message So I leave a message and get no call back Around 4PM I get a call, with no prior call that said they were picking up the car, saying "This is Ocean Harbor Insurance and your car is not where you said it would be" I said That is because you were supposed to be there yesterday and it was towed by another company So my car has been in impound from FRIDAY FEBRUARY 17TH until today WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY because they were closed SATRUDAY SUNDAY AND MONDAY dollars a day in impound and for towing They are saying they will not pay for that I have to use the dollar towing allowance that is included in my insurance It was their fault my car was towed because they told me they would pick it up on Thursday and they did not Now I have to pay for any additional towing This could have been avoided if they would have picked up my car when they said NEVER USE THIS COMPANY They dont answer the phoneand they try to find every way possible for YOU to pay the expenses I also asked for a supervisor and the girl said im transfering you to a supervisor now This "supervisor" said she could do nothing about my car being towed even though it was their fault I said YOU ARE A SUPERVISOR AND THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO She promptly said she was NOT a supervisor So I was lied to I asked for a supervisor again, and when I told her I thought it was their responsibility to pay for the tow because they were late picking up my cari heard a clicklike she hung up I end up getting transferred to a voicemail from a guy named *** no title whatsoever so I didnt know whether he was a customer service repa manager or supervisor NOTHING I left a message for him to return my car and he has not returned it

I was hit by a driver in Clearwater, FL covered by Ocean HarborAs in every review I've read NO ONE answers the phones and you are on hold for a minimum of minutes After days I got in touch with someone You are told you will be contacted by an agent within hours Well that doesn't happen Then after that you will get an adjustor in 3-business days Again that didn't happen I have contacted the Florida Office of the Insurance Commissioner regarding these problems

I have been a client with company for nearly a decadeI have tried to work along their conditions because I thought that was the price of low-cost auto insuranceI made it a habit to pay my premium ahead of every month to avoid jumping through their finicky hoops to make a simple paymentIt worked well until recentlyI had sent my payment as usual but was told I was due for cancellation for nonpaymentThis was soon after I had sent another payment for the upcoming monthThey did not acknowledge my timely payment but my bank statement said otherwiseI was given no other choice to make payment for the full amount to maintain my policy activeThat same week, before the due date of my latest payment, I signed up for coverage under another companyOcean Harbor required me to physically walk into an office and cancel my policy and I didSomehow, they found the missing payment I sent them and mailed me back my checkHowever, when I checked to see when I was going to be refunded the excess I paid for my policy, they still had me as ACTIVEI had to call my local office to re-send, that's right, re-send my cancellation documentsThis is despite the fact, confirmation of the documents being received was sent to my agent the first time...over weeks agoToday, they confirmed they have my cancellation on recordI expect a full refund of the payment I made in excess to my policyThe reps are nice but the operation on which this company is based is severely flawedI am actually saving more money with my new company and making payments are a lot more convenientLesson Learned

I regret to say that this insurance company has to be the most difficult company I have ever dealt with. Their hours of operation alone is very inconvenient to anyone who works regular office hours. Every time I called my agent [redacted] she could not help me right then & there, she always said she would call me back and never did or told me to call back another time. Whenever I asked the agent for her email address she refused to give it to me. Overall, I always felt as if she was dodging me. I gave a $500 down payment and when I had questions about the policy premiums she was always too busy to answer any of my questions. I truly believe that I have been taken advantage of and feel helpless in that I cannot receive information about my own policy. I would not recommend this agency nor recommend anyone to do business with [redacted] to anyone. Secondly, I would even go as far as to recommend that this agency gets audited to ensure that they are properly following laws and regulations.

I recently was involved in a hit and run called the day after it happen the message stated they were busy but to leave a message and someone would call back in 24 hours 2 dats later I call bqck and get thru to regina which completes my claim she stated someone will follow up in 24 hours they seem to like that timeframe but never follows thru so 2 days later I get a call from april she stated some would come out to appraise the damages I got a call on monday 5 days after she someone would call me they call on monday at 8:27 in the evening to say they would be out on wednesday at 1:00 pm still waiting a hour and 30 mins later called twice this insurance company seems to have some shady business going on and need to be audited
