Ms. [redacted] contacted us regarding the referenced user in the complaint on 11/29 and from that point on, until 12/1- we provided the appropriate steps she should take to followup on the matter. 
After one message exchange with the referenced user on 11/21 via the OfferUp platform, the...

communication was continued outside of OfferUp's in-app chat by exchanging personal information. 
Our Posting Rules state to: "Use the in-app messaging system for all communication." We also have a comprehensive Trust and Safety section in our Help Center that encompasses various articles to help guide users as to what steps they should take when interacting with others.

     To this date December 10th 2015 no one from offer up has contacted me!! When I made the police report the officer never came. I put a report into 911 however. I have emailed offer up several times with no response yet. I lost almost 300 dollars and would like some kind of compensation or information on the user.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: Nothing is being done to help me. Offer Up is allowing a seller to rip me off and no one is going anything and the Revdex.com is a joke. There was no way for me to know the issues the item had defects until I got it home.  You are allowing and condoning liars and scammer to work on your site. Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:there was no contact made with me..only through Revdex.com...in addition there tactics of pushing the electronic funds is shady the fact that there is a 9% surcharge is not advertised, you have to dig in the policies to find it or find out soon as you get the bill...just a crappy program all the way around..

There was no way for me to know  until,I got home, and I contacted Megan D[redacted] regarding the tablet immediately.  I spent 5 days trying to get it to work.  I deseve a full refund because it is the right thing to do and since she is avoiding me she knows she is wrong.[redacted]

OfferUp is a person to person marketplace that now allows payment through the app in some locations. 
If a Buyer wishes to use the payments feature and the Seller agrees to the terms of this service, the disbursement of funds to the Seller's account generally takes up to 5 business days. This...

payment is controlled by our processing partner, not OfferUp. As this transaction took place on a Saturday, the payment would disbursed by the following Friday.
