First, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience that the customer may have experienced. It is never our intention for our customers to be less than satisfied with our services. Delay at Delivery: Per our Estimate and Bill of Lading governing this
move, we have up to business days from the customer’s selected first available date to deliver the shipment. Although we work very hard to meet our customer’s requested piand delivery dates, sometimes it is not always an option for a variety of reasons which makes the logistics of the moving industry complicated and unpredictable Loss/Damage: We have contacted CSI our claims service provider to initiate a claim file for the customer and allow them to file a proper claim as required by law. The customer was assigned a unique claim id # of and they were sent login information on 12/19/in order to file a claim online The customer has submitted their claim for review 12/19/Since this move was an interstate move it is governed by federal regulations which allows up to days for the processing of the claim. We regret the customer is not satisfied with the services they have received and will offer compensation based on our legal liability through the claims process We regret that the customer found it necessary to file a Revdex.com complaint, but we trust that the above explanation enables them to better understand our position in this matter

I used this company several times for moving purposes! They are professional and work in a timely mannerI would definitely use them againThey made sure that all my belongings were secure and well taken care of!

Olympia Moving and Storage cancelled my move that night before they were to move me and made an excuse that they had been audited by the ICC and they have frozen all operations This is 100% and I would not use this company because they are not reliable and left me with out any time to react to find another mover

We had items that needed to be moved to different floors within the house and to the garage Olympia was wonderful from start to finish! Can't say enough about the professionalism of all involved - especially our movers, Juan and Angel! Can't imagine using any other movers next time we need something!

known fact that having all your personal belongings packed into a metal truck and moved as close as a block or as far as a coast-line is a stressful experienceWe take great pride knowing that we can ensure a stress-free experience
During June of 2015, specifically the last week, a series of unfortunate events had unfoldedIt began with mechanical failures and escalated to a lack of personnelOlympia possess a fleet of sixteen trucks that are allocated specifically to local relocations; four of which had unplanned lift-gait failures and an additional three trucks which broke down and were beyond immediate repairOn June three full crews didn't show up to workWhether it was illness related, lack of energy, or any other personal reason, we were still out twelve employees
*** *** was, unfortunately, a client that we had to cancel onA call to Mr*** was made describing the situation that unfolded before usWe reached out to *** June 29, at 10:AMMarks estimated arrival window was 12:PM - 2:PMIt should be noted that Olympia explored countless possibilities starting at 5:AM that morning
To make matters worse, one of our relocation consultants, *** *** reached out to *** *** when he resubmitted his information onlineMr*** called Mrs*** *** inquiring about her request for movers at 11:AMMrand Mrs*** had gone on MovingCompanyReviews.com and submitted their information, which in turn went out to a handful of movers; us being one of themUnknowingly, the email went to *** *** who then called and realized the significant error
During the last week of June, Olympia suffered from a situation it had never before been inAfter cancelling on Mrand Mrs***, Olympia had to go on and cancel on multiple other individuals and familiesOlympia Moving was completely booked until July and was therefore not able to assist those cancelled on in the coming days
If Mrand Mrs*** are to ever consider using Olympia Moving in the future, we'd like to offer them 10% off a local move or 5% off a long distance move

Sadly, I do not buy Olympia's excuses what so ever as there are years of reviews where tmhey did they same thing to other families but the majority of those were interstate moves so my husband felt comfortable securing a contract with themOlympia can keep their pathetic 10% discount as I would never risk trying to use them again.ci would also like to point out they did not contact us to let us know WE contacted themI wish them all the best and hope that they hold themselves to higher standards than they currently doI will NEVER use them nor recommend them to others and strongly discourage anyone I know who might be interested in them

We were really impressed with Alan and his team They took great care with our stuff and worked around other workers at the house Without us saying anything, they recognized that we had painting going on and did not place the furniture against the wall All four were very friendly and a joy to talk with Thank you very much for a great experience!

while our rep was in mid-sentence Shuttle: If there is a doubt about access, it is not up to dispatch to determine the need for a shuttle. The driver is solely responsible for the truck, the contents, the safety of the other movers and the customers, the safety of the surroundings. If there is anything that happens, it falls on the driver’s shoulder. Further, we did NOT charge the customer for the shuttle service as it should have been. The money for this service hardly covers the rental of the shuttle truck and some of the additional work the movers have to perform. The movers have to take time to rent the shuttle, they drive back to the destination unload the shipment from the tractor trailer onto the shuttle. They then drive the shuttle to the destination and unload again. They must repeat this process until the shipment is delivered. The movers do NOT like to have to perform this unpleasant service as it takes much time and delays the rest of the route Delivery Time: The customer’s 1st available date they selected they would be able to accept their shipment was 07/26/16. They were delivered on 08/08/16. That is well within the timeframe agreed upon with the customer; it is the very same timeframe we discussed with her when facilitating the move It is in writing on the original estimate. Overcharge: The customer states she was overcharged since she did not ship as many pieces as she had listed for the estimate Regardless of this, we reserved the volume in the tractor trailer to accommodate her shipment at the size she had informed us. When you purchase a move you are purchasing space to be reserved for the transport of your items. However, if the customer disagrees she can address this concern by filing a claim We have contacted CSI our claims service provider to initiate a claim file for the customer and allow them to file a proper claim as required by law. The customer was sent login information in order to file a claim online and up to date no claim has been received The claim login information sent to the customer allows filing a claim for loss, damage, delay, overcharge, and complaint. All the above can and must be compensated through the claims process as required by federal regulations. For further assistance with filing claims the customer may contact CSI directly at *** or via email at ***. Please provide Claim ID *** when contacting CSI. We regret that the customer found it necessary to file a Revdex.com complaint, but we trust that the above explanation enables them to better understand our position in this matter

Forget *** *** *** * *** and the others Olympia was on top of everything with helpful quotes, great follow through, no surprise charges, careful moving staff and reasonable fees I know because I have rehired them for jobs well done!

RUN as fast as you can from this company My husband and I have moved around the world with the military and now with his current jobOlympia moved us miles and caused extensive damage to the bottom of our dining room hatch, the bottom can no longer support the weight of the top The damage was caused when one man tried to carry this bulky, lb plus piece and dropped it on the concrete patio My husband and I watched this happen, so there is no doubt how the damaged occurred The mover even apologized, but that does not fix the furniture There were other minor dents and scratches to other pieces My estimate to have everything put back to the condition it was in before these movers touched the items would be in the hundreds of dollar range, I have been offered $cents Several of the items they damaged were not reimbusable because the moving crew and insurance company determined, it was wear and tear No adjuster from the moving company, nor the insurance company has seen the damage, this was determined based on photographs Also, the weight estimates were not even close to the actual weight of the item, which meant they could pay us less The lead crew member also asked me to sign some paperwork, to his dismay I read the paperwork Mixed in with the paperwork was a blank inventory page, which stated that Olympia were not responsible for any damages I showed this to my husband, and obviously refused to sign This made the mover very unhappy I truly wish I had taken the advice of other web reviewers Worst move in years, and the shortest move, need I say more I

The best movers ever - seriously couldn't believe how fast, careful and professional they were!
Would most certainly use them again

I do not accept this response because this is not a "gesture of good faith"This is an extremely unprofessional business that continues to slip though the cracks of the Revdex.com by worming their way around their poor customer service tacticsReason that I agreed to the "good faith gesture" was because I could not afford my furniture and belonging held hostage under a cut throat company as such as Olympia MoversTo this day, the owner has not returned my call, and I was never given a date to when my merchandise was to arrive; however, I received a phone call from someone in Florida stating that they are ready to deliver my furniture without hearing from the company themselvesThe movers came and delivered the merchandise but claimed they could not find the screws to put our belongings together; therefore, they left without finishing the jobAn hour later, my family and I see all the screws and tools needed to put it togetherOne mover who barely spoke english approached us to ask for a tip! When he realized that he was not well understood; the movers proceeded to leaveThis nightmare is just awfulCustomer service was so terrible and unprofessional that Olympia Movers do not care because they pride themselves on "Grade A" from the Revdex.comAlso, looking over the contract, we were told that the estimate would be $6,with the weight of 12,lbsWhen I went to the scale with the movers, it weighed 10,100; yet, my total payment was well over the difference of the accurate total rateThis company is a scam

HOWEVER, we would like to answer some questions for the customer:
Packing: The customer signed a packing sheet which details every item that was used to pack their shipment Gesture of Good ***: The customer must understand that discounts are not required and if they are provided, they are normally determined through the claims processAs a customer courtesy we offered the gesture of good faithYes, it is called a gesture of good faith because there has not been a legal claim filed, there is not any legal evidence to prove that Olympia violated any DOT regulations or breached any part of any contract, or even operated business in an inappropriate waySo, yes, it is considered a gesture of good faith unless there is evidence that we are legally liable to compensate our customers in some way
Hostage/Delivery: The customer's belongings were not "held hostage" as they accuseThe federal law states that deliveries must be within reasonable dispatchAlthough we aim to deliver within 1-business days, moving companies (as well as DOT regulations) still allow additional time in case of any mechanical failure, weather, or many other elements which are beyond our controlPer our tariff and the information on the bill of lading we have up to business days to deliver , starting from the customer's 1st available date they said they would be available to accept their delivery (as do most other movers in this nation)These terms were agreed upon to which the customer's signature attestsThe customer said the 1st available date they could accept their delivery was 06/30/The customer was delivered on 07/07/to which their signature attestsThis is well within the estimated business days
Service: Olympia provides superior services to all of our customersThe customers filled out customer surveys about the excellent service they receivedOne was at the pickup and the other at deliveryBOTH specifically have "excellent" marked for all questionsOlympia did not "omit" anything to make a sale There is not any part of this information that is not available to our customers on their shipping documents or in the original estimate which are ALWAYS sent to the customers via email with plenty of time before the moveThe customers are sent this information on the estimate to allow customers the opportunity to read this information before they are asked to sign in agreement or even before they pay any money towards a depositWe feel it is insolent to review every line of every document with customersWe trust that customers read, comprehend, and if necessary ask questions before they sign their name to any legal document, agree to any terms, and especially before they pay any money to any person/company
Assembly: We regret that the movers were unable to locate the hardware for your tableThis IS part of our service to disassemble and reassemble basic itemsHowever, if the hardware was packed away where the movers could not see it that is a situation which is beyond their controlThey are not allowed to open boxes to look for missing hardware

My experience with Olympia Moving could not have been more positiveI was contacted buy phone and email before the moveOn the day of the move I was contacted minutes before they arrived, and the men who showed up were extremely courteous, professional, and efficientI STRONGLY recommend Olympia Moving, and will definitely be using them again!

Worst moving experience in my life...Olympia was a no showI can only assume they diverted to a bigger job? My daughter was moving out into a Chicago high-riseEverything was all setWe had everything coordinated and scheduled between Olympia and the buildingUnfortunately, Olympia never showed upWe were left high and dry by these guys

It was the 1st time I ever used a professional mover and I was pleasantly surprised of how the crew of 3 moved all my belongings.

I had a positive experience with my move, they made it easy. I had one minor issue with the charges and they were very professional while taking care of the issue. My items were stored for 4 months with no issues. Overall I had a great experience. I have to thank Roy for his assistance.
