Revdex.com spoke with [redacted] from the company. He stated that the consumer's car was tagged on July 29th for expired tags. The driver did get the date wrong on the sticker. The sticker was to have said Thursday July 31st instead the drive put the date August 1st. Once the company tags a car, the consumer...

then has 48 hours to correct the problem or the car then does get towed.

Revdex.com spoke with [redacted] from the company and he stated that the only way a car will get towed from the lot is if a parking pass is not showing. If they are a visitor, there is a place for visitor parking. If they are a resident and their pass was not visible, they can tow.

I have reviewed the message received from the business.  It contains their assertion they did not tow improperly.  There was no offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and as there was no attempt to address my concern by the business, I have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[They made no offer.  They towed improperly and required cash payment which is contrary to law that states they must accept at least two forms of payment.  I am not satisfied with their response.  Terrible business practices.]

After speaking with [redacted] from the business he states that this apartment complex has marked visitor’s spots and if a car is parked in a residential spot without a pass is in improperly parked. If a resident of the complex calls and states that an unmarked car is in a resident spot the tow...

company will come out and tow that vehicle, since the spots are meant for those that are residents of the property. This vehicle did not have a pass on it so it was towed. The business did say that the management of this complex has changed a few times and no new guidelines have been given to the business, so they must go off of the information they have. This fee will not be refunded as they were following their protocol of towing unmarked cars.

They did not want to refund any money for the mistake that THEY made.  I understand that they tow 48 hours after the car is tagged.  It's just wrong to tow a vehicle on July 31st when the sticker says that it will be towed on Aug 1st.  The only solution is a refund of fees paid.

Review: In the event of my car being towed from my apartment complex, On Demand Towing caused front end damage, and side damages to my car. Damages include front end undercarriage damage from passenger to driver side (done by wheel lift), side scratches near the back door on driver side, fog light damage, and front end dent on driver side.

I contacted On Demand Towing for insurer information, and they refused to provide that information. My attorney called and not only did they again refuse to provide insurer information, they hung the telephone up before being verbally abusive, I quote.Desired Settlement: Repairs to the damages stated that were done to my vehicle to be covered by the towing company.

Review: I took my vehicle to the establishment approximately January 12,2016 for performance issues. My vehicle was skipping, puttering and not staying on when initially starting. I was told on the following day that three fuel injectors was bad and they would cost $50 a piece. I took the money the next day. A week and a half past, I got another call, the mechanic said I needed to replace the remaining 3 injectors. I took the money the same day. Waited for a call to say my vehicle was ready. It took another week and a half to get that call. I went to pick my vehicle up on January 29th, started my vehicle, it was the same as it was when I dropped it off. I was told it was "a cold start". I knew that wasn't true and he was just telling me something, so I took my vehicle to the Jeep dealership. I was told by it was my PCM harness which made sense since the mechanic at ON Demand originally installed a new PCM on my vehicle just that past December. I called the mechanic that did the injectors and told him it was never the injectors and how could they rectify this. I paid $300 for parts that wasn't needed. He said he would talk to the owner and call back. He never did, I called him and he told me the owner said there was nothing he could do. My vehicle isn,t driveable. I feel taking advantage of.Desired Settlement: They can have the fuel injectors back and replace them with some from a jeep from the junk yard. I want my $300 refund for parts that wasn't needed and did absolutely nothing to resolve my truck performance.

Review: OnDemand Towing tagged my vehicle for towing(for expired tags) on July 29,2014. They towed my vehicle on July 31,2014. I picked up my vehicle the same day and paid $125 for the towing fee. When I got home I noticed on their towing sticker that they put down that it would be towed on 8-1(Aug 1). I called them about this on Aug 1,2014 and they said that the sticker said that it would be towed on thurs and that the date was an error. They seemed very unwanting to talk about it further. I feel that the mistake was in their error and that the vehicle should have not been towed until the next day. The only solution to this would be a full refund of what I was charged($125). I do have the receipt and the towing sticker in my possession as proof and I will seek legal assistance if needed. I just thought that this would be a simpler solution with less additional fees for them. [redacted]Desired Settlement: A refund of what I was charged($125).
