I hired On Time Moving & Storage to move my belongings from Jacksonville FL to Atlanta, Ga, instead of using the company that my job offered in order to save costSo glad that I didFirst of all, I was given an exact day and time when my goods would be delivered to Atlanta instead of a 4-day range, and worry about where my belongings could possibly beSecond, the movers assigned to me were very nice and professional, and they always showed up on time, and worked in a timely mannerThey packed for days, and then transported my household goods to Atlanta early the next morningThird, there was not a single item broken, scratched, dented or misplacedThe movers packed my things and placed them in my new home in such a way that made it very easy to unpack without feeling overwhelmedI highly recommend On Time Moving & Storage because you get quality service for less than half the cost of some major moving companies

As far as damages inside the
boxes, we can not be responsible for items inside of boxes that we did not packWe do not know the condition of the items that were insideNo mover or movers insurance can ever cover items not boxed by the moverThe bins and boxes were packed improperly and overloadedThe dishes and fragile items were placed in boxes that were meant to hold light itemsAs was discussed when the estimator did the estimateAll containers have to be taped or sealed properlyIf a bin was to accidently fall over the lid should have been sealed so nothing would fall out and no damage could occurLarge boxes are meant to hold light items not heavy fragile itemsSome of the boxes were poorly taped and falling apart so the guys had to retape themto try to keep them together

I am so glad I found Joseph and Chris and the whole crew at On Time Moving and Storage Leda is a real sweetheart and kept me updated on everything before hand and even called after the move to see if everything was ok I have had some really bad experiences from other companies (broken stuff, scratched furniture and stolen stuff) I have never had to move in August & never realized how busy it is for movers in the summer however they worked me into their busy schedule last minuteThe guys were on time and very polite I had to move me miles away from one apartment to another because of a smoking issue with the property I am a non smoker and had just moved into the complex months ago My stuff was in perfect condition when I got to my new place( they wrap everything so NO DAMAGE to your furniture) I will never use anyone else and highly recommend On Time Moving and Storage in St Augustine Fl

I told myself after this move was complete I would absolutely go write a review as there seems to be so many negative reviews on moving companies I just (weeks ago) moved my mother from FL to MA after my father had passed I must have gotten quotes from moving companies and the phone calls came in for weeks after trying to get my business Even had one company bad mouth another company when they asked who I chose I never realized what a competitive and cut throat market this was On Time Movers helped us have a perfect move They came exactly when they said they would, they kept in constant communication with me and even delivered the load early They are not brokers - *** in fact sent me photos of all his trucks with their logo on it All the guys that picked up the items and dropped off were so incredibly nice and polite! They worked with me on the estimate and stuck to it! Thank you very much On Time Moving!

A quick recap On 11/he was given an estimate for moving $The estimate was based on an hourly rateOn 12/we showed up to move himWe sent the crew back out again the following day to finish up the small amount that was leftMr *** was not onsite the crew was there by themselvesThe second day the crew was only there a total of hrsIf he would have been onsite like we asked him to there would have been no problemsThis was the only job the crew had so they had all day to finishWhen finished the bill was paid $well below the estimateMr *** then called the office the following day saying there were items left behindThe crew did leave behind a few things they were unsure off Misc paperwork, A rack of fruit with the fruit still in it, Paper towels, A couple of boxes that were open and half packed by ***, A few misc kitchen items (things that should have been left without consent from the *** that they go)We offered to have another crew come get the itemsHe said he would get them himself as it was just a few minor items no furniture just a few boxes and misc. There were a few minor damagesHe was sent a claim formHe refused to fill it out and when he finally did he marked thru items and rewrote sentences in the claim form and refused to sign any claim formsWe received his final claim form on Wednesday the 8thYes the same day he submitted this dispute

I'd like to state that this experience has been extremely pleasant and convenient The entire staff that I dealt with over the phone and in person were courteous and professional at all times First, a representative was sent almost two hours to my current home just for the quote prior to any obligations from me I spoke to Leda several times over the phone She was very clear and conciseShe was very patient and took the time to answer all of my questions including the ones she had to repeatI really value the fact that she also made sure I was aware of ALL possible fees to leave no room for surprises I once spoke to Chris and he rendered the same etiquette I was informed well in advance of the arrival of *** and *** Once again, they were both very professional, friendly and handled my belongings as if it were their own They were highly productive individuals *** and *** were in and out in no timeThis was a smooth process for my transition out of stateI would recommend this company, especially all of the employees that I previously mentioned to everyone in need of a great team You have my gratitude and upmost respect for taking care of me!

Worst experience I have had and still having with a moving company To start the day they showed up to move they didn’t bring a big enough truck so they left a whole room of furniture that they didnt on the truckI had to go rent a uhaul at 7pm at night to finish the packing so I could leave that night to drive to my new location Then once the truck arrived at my new house and they unloaded it There were so many damaged items Over $in new appliances damaged and over $in furniture damages Huge dents in my washer and refrigerator Scratches and chips on my expensive dining and living room furniture They lost a leg of a table and a power cord to my TV! This was very upsetting When I contacted them to get this resolved they want to offer me $to make this go awayI am still fighting them to do whats right This is the worst moving experience I have had with a moving companyI do not recommend themPlease be aware of the nightmare I am having with this company!

I moved from St Augustine Florida to Jacksonville Florida and used On Time Moving & Storage Since I was traveling on business I also had them help my wife with packing She had nothing but praise for how everything was handled They were on time and professional and it sure was nice to have the house done and a happy wife when I got home from my business trip Thanks Guys Job Well Done!

If you are in Florida and looking for a moving company long or short search no more this company moved me from JAX to Lansing and all my stuff were fine and there is no extra fees or any of that scams the arrival date was different than I thought but it's fine because they informed meI highly recommend them reasonable price and perfect service

The claim form was submitted last night and a hard copy will go out via certified mail tomorrow. It shouldn’t take 3 weeks to offer a client who entrusted your company with all their belongings cleaning services. The shuttle fee on our contract is $350 (which we had no idea what that was until after the fact).The audacity to suggest that we are going after a check or that we are being dishonest after all the evidence we have, all the stress and loss this company has caused us, is absurd and offensive to say the least. This is my final message through Revdex.com. If we don’t hear from your claims department in a timely manner, legal action will be taken as previously stated. Good day.

I am not trying to make this a back and forth event. I am not saying there were no problems. We emailed you a claim form over a month ago. We need it filled out and signed and sent back. We just got a list of items. We need the actual claim form that was sent to you.       The shuttle fee written on your estimate is $400. The shuttle fee was discussed during your estimate as a possibility. The $350 was after the discount we were offering. It is not some hidden charge. The new place just doesn't have access for a semi.      Believe me we would like this closed out more than you. We have policies and procedures that have to be followed. We first try to repair or fix any problem. Then if that does not work we look into other options. But the claims manager generally will not even contact you without a claim form filled out.

I am rejecting this response because: They are lying. They crew simply abandoned the location leaving behind items they were clearly instructed to transport. The company's claim form required multiple submission as it was insufficient for the number of damages. Further, the crew was not honest about leaving the job site with work completed as they were also dishonest about the assembly of furniture. The simply did not include all necessary and required hardware back and said that their work was done

The customer is yet to finalize a claim form. They wanted us to handle the claims 1 at a time. We do not do anything until a claim form is finalized. When he did fill out a claim form he would mark thru items and change the claim form. The customer left the crew at the house and expected them to...

know what to pack and move. As all moves and people are different it is impossible to know exactly what he wants done.

I am rejecting this response because: The Business is yet again not telling the truth. The quote was for a flat fee/ whole house/ all included move. I was told I could save money by moving some items myself; which I did. I communicated with the Business throughout and until the move Date. We agreed that there wasn't that much packing left to do and [redacted] confirmed that we were doing a 1 day move. The crew arrived and did not know this. Nothing was communicated to them. They showed for packing and not moving! Accordingly, they did not bring appropriate padding for my belongings. However, they assured me that nothing would be damaged. This turned out to be false very quickly as they didn't bring tools to disassemble anything and did not pack hardware without losing many parts. Due to their unpreparedness, the move took excessively long making them come back on the next day and I was getting billed for their lack of planning and inability to conduct the move as planned. There were many hours of work left to do and I had to step out very briefly. During those moments, the crew simply abandoned the work site. They left many items despite being clearly instructed otherwise. Photographic evidence has already been provided to this business. There was nothing unsure about any items they left behind. They were told clearly to move everything except the couch and items containing liquids. The bill was below the estimate as I did about 1/3 of the work myself. The business did not offer to come and get the items. They are not honest in their response regarding the items they left. I already showed that to the business with photos. They "offered" for me to pay for their neglected work. The Business did offer to come and make repairs to the homes. The offered a day that did not work. I offered two alternatives to which the business did not respond. WHY DIDN'T THEY RESPOND??I filled out the claim form. The claim for was insufficient for the number of items. Multiple forms were needed. Hence, I cross out the sentence part "which is to be considered as a full release and discharge from any and all claims and demands accruing prior to this date, and particularly for any and all claims and demands rising out of the transportation described in the foregoing." This was done on form 1 and 2, but not on the third and final form. I think anyone who understand these words would understand the reason for doing so. Nothing else was re-written which can be shown as evidence by the email trail. All forms were signed. The third and final claim form was submitted on February 23rd. I can also provide email evidence if needed, but the business is dishonest about the dates again as they are surely trying to tell me that the documentation wasn't submitted within the appropriate time window. The complaint was filed on 3/8/2018 because the business hadn't responded to the final claim form (again), even after a reminder was sent to them on 3/4/2018. Therefore, their response "Yes the same day he submitted this dispute" is yet another dishonest response. In another email after the Revdex.com complaint they requested 1 single form to be filed. I did that including an excel file with the detailed damages/costs. I don't know why or how a business cannot handle multiple forms of their own, but I now expect them to handle this professionally especially considering their repeated dishonesty and disrespect by [redacted].

There was minor mold on a some things and a few items were bad. We immediately offered to have a crew come in and clean they said no.  As far as major water damage NO. We are in a raised, dock high warehouse with raised containerized storage. Water coming in our warehouse...

would be impossible. We believe a box may have had liquid in it and leaked out. Almost everything could have been easily cleaned. There may have been a few pieces that would have needed to be replaced.     As far as charging extra money for the delivery, yes the apt complex was very cramped with tight turns. Our semi truck could not get there. The shuttle charge as we call it is written on the estimate. They even took $50 off of the shuttle charge trying to be nice.     At this point we have tried to fix the situation multiple times. I believe legal action would be the best route.
