Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I've attached a couple more picturesThe picture was taken less than minutes after the truck leftNo one else came or left my property after the truck was there including myselfHad someone answered the phone when I called immediately after the truck left there would be do denying by One Call PlumbingIt is clear in the pictures that the tracks are from rear duals and the fact that One Call plumbing is denying this further shows the integrity of their business or lack thereof.... Further, One Call Plumbing failed to address the rest of the complaint regarding the failed appointments, "scheduling mishaps" and no call answering/returnsThese issues with this company are well documented on previous complaints/reviews on the Revdex.com as well as other business rating modelsIt is obviously an issueMight consider changing the name to No Call Plumbing since this is how the company operates consistentlyI look forward to the response to this as well as repair or compensation to damage done to my lawn

On 10/3/we were contacted by Ms*** for an estimate to replace her Terra Cotta piping. On 10/6/we went to her house & gave her an estimate to replace a portion of her line At that time, it was evident that sewage had been seeping into her yard for quite a while She stated
that she would review the estimates she had & would be in touch Later, that same day, she called into the office & stated that we were the lowest estimateShe requested that work not be scheduled for 2-weeks due to money issues On 10/7/16, we called her & told her we could do the work on 10/26/16.On 10/26/16, we arrived on site & issued her a contract stating the minimum would be $& the max $ These amounts were derived from the original estimate prices with sales & municipal tax added She signed the contract & we performed the replacement of a portion of her Terra Cotta sewer line The ground by that time was so saturated with sewage that our machine was sinking At the end of the job, we explained that the ground was graded as best we could due to the terrible condition of the soil and was definitely "rough grade." It is also written on the contract The original estimate was for $- $ Since the entire line was not replaced, sales & municipal tax was added She was charged the MINIMUM + = $and she paid by credit card Due to our machine sinking, she should have been charged the MAXIMUM There was roughly a $difference between the MINIMUM & the MAXIMUM If we would have spent more hours trying to grade the yard better, it still would look the way it does because we were working in SWAMP & MUD There's only so much you can do We figured with the savings, she could have the yard graded better when she had the rest of the line fixed There was nothing we could do then due to all the MUD and our pricing reflected that, as did the contract Not only did we write it on the front of the contract, it is also listed on the back of the contract and estimate. We also stated on the contract that her line still needed to be tied into the main She still had a portion of Terra Cotta sewer line from where we left off to get to the main She did not have sufficient funds to replace the whole line at once. The contract clearly stated that the yard is ROUGH GRADED At the conclusion of the job, Ms*** signed the Certification portion of the contract - this is a separate section that is executed once the work is completed It says: This is to certify that the above described project has been completed to my satisfaction. Her signature appears there. She was charged the minimum price due to the ROUGH GRADE of the yard. We had not heard from Mrs*** for 1/months She called in on 4/3/& the message she left with the answering service was that she was waiting on her yard to be fixed Tara R*** returned her call & at the time, Mrs*** said nothing about the sewer line not working, she stated that she wanted the yard fixed, that her contract stated we would be back in the spring to fix the yard, reseed it & straw MsR*** pulled the contract & the estimate & at that point, Mrs*** admitted that the contract did not say anything like that, but that's what she was told MsR*** told her that she would discuss it with the owner & if he intended to go back to her property, MsR*** would call We were not going back to the property She called in again on 4/10/17, again the only message was that she is still waiting for her yard to be fixed Again...nothing about her sewer line not working. On 4/20/Mrs*** called into the office stated that the section of sewer line that we put in was broken She stated that the City had been out & ran their big jetter & told her our line is broken That same day, one of our technicians went to her property & ran the video drain camera It showed that our line was clear but the old terra cotta piping that she had not yet replaced was not working Sewage was coming out of the clean out that we installed near the end of our line Her neighbor was there & said that sewage had been coming up for days & we needed to do something about it When we didn't, the neighbor - with Mrs***'s permission - told us to get the F--- off her property, get our *** equipment & get in our *** truck and leave On 4/24/we took our copy of the video drain that was done on 4/20/to the Marion County Health Department and they stated that they would get with the City of Fairmont to see what was going on.As for the condition of her yard, she had raw sewage seeping into her yard for atleast weeks before we replaced a portion of the line The work was done in late October, right before a rainy Winter That combined with all the rain we had plus raw sewage coming out of the clean out, not to mention the drainage off the hills in her yard...that is why her yard looks like it does As for the small pieces of terra cotta pipe we missed when we cleaned up back in October, that was an oversight on our part & we collected those pieces on 4/20/17. We stand behind our work Mrs*** is definitely not telling the whole truth here As far as the pictures she submitted - they are all of the same exact thing The raw sewage can not come out the clean out in the yard if our line is bad. This complaint is dated 4/11/and RAW SEWAGE is still coming up in her yard because she won't replace the rest of her line So for atleast weeks & who knows for how much longer, she is going to let the raw sewage build up in her yard I guess in the hopes that we will replace the rest of the line for free so she will stop contacting the Revdex.com That's not going to happen which is why we went to Marion County Health Department to assist in the matter.I have attached the call logs proving that she did not indicate there was a problem with the line, only the yard I have also attached the contract #where she signed the Certification at the bottomTo point out the Certification section for you, I put asterisks near the "Certification" and circled the area of the contract where is says the yard would be rough grade This was only done to draw the Revdex.com's attention to the area Also attached is Contract #- which was our original estimate.Respectfully,Joshua R***, President

We did go to the *** residence on 4/4/18; however, Mr*** tried to get the technicians to do more work than what was quoted. When the technicians told me what he was trying to do, they were instructed to leave the residence. Mr*** was not charged any money for that visit. The tire
marks were not caused by our vehicle, as you can see in the photo, there are different tire tracks. He is trying to attribute the one he circled to One Call Plumbing. Since our vehicles have dual wheels, the marks he circled in red would have been closer together. Additionally, what he claims are the "dual wheel" tracks, are not actually dual wheel tracks but rather separate tracks since the track on the left continues for several feet whereas the track on the right stops after approximately ft. In order for those tracks to be attributed to our vehicle, one of our back tires would have had to be removed while driving. Since we did not remove a tire off the rear, it cannot be our vehicle

Regarding our customer service, here are the facts:We were first contacted by *** *** on 3/28/at 11:AM. We went to the residence the following day 3/29/18, performed camera service & gave an estimate to repair the issue.*** *** called in on 3/30/at 4:PM stating that he wanted the repair work to start on Monday, waiting on confirmation. On 4/4/*** *** called in at 11:AM wanting an ETA for work to start today. The call was returned & the men arrived at the residence at approximately 1:PM.These are the only calls that came through our office. All of our office calls are recorded & documented. If Mr*** is calling a number other than the ones we publish, I cannot track those & therefore cannot verify the accuracy of his information.Proper protocol to any company would be to call the office. Mr*** had the number because he or someone in his household called it on 3/28, 3/& 4/4.We are sorry Mr*** did not have a good experience, he could have cancelled (by calling the office) at any time

On Wed, Apr 6, at 3:PM* *** *** ***> wrote:Ms*** Please excuse my tardy response I did not see the earlier emails from youMrR*** sent workers to the house and they worked for many hours until the problem was solvedThe water pressure has been restored to its original pressureI am very pleased with the resultsOne Call did a wonderful job and I and very grateful to have it fixed.Thank you so much

First, let me say that yes a complaint has been filed with the WV State Attorney General’s office since One Call Plumbing does business in both PA and WV. As for advising each agency a complaint was being filed, I am under no obligation to notify an agency that I have filed a complaintYes, I signed the invoice on January 30, in “Good Faith” on the word of the Foreman (John) they were returning on Monday Feb 1st with gravel to fix our driveway as well as the neighbor’sSo when talking “Good Faith” maybe he should be aware of the conversation with his foreman and the promises made by him and his crewAgain, let me state the water line was fixed by your company NOT the water company and they can verify this is the truth since they were onsite when the work was done. As for my not standing out in the cold you are correct, however, my husband was overseeing the jobAs for the utility companies coming after him, why would they when the Gas and Water companies had representatives on the job site making sure the gas and water lines were repaired properly by his companyHe did not notify the water company regarding the neighbor’s issue, she and my husband have been in touch with them. As for not hearing back from her and assuming the issue had been resolved, she spoke with him on Feb17th when he advised her there was a meeting with us on Friday Feb 19th. We were not aware of a meeting and neither was the water company. She waited for his arrival and then contacted his company and was advised he was running a machine in *** at a job site Mr*** NEVER stated we had another estimate!! We needed this issue resolved, contacted his company, his workers came out looked at the job, gave an estimate, we asked if a deposit was required and was advised by his Foreman that NO we seemed like nice people and we could pay at the endYes, the check was dated 1/28/16, I left the check for my husband when I left for work since the job was to be completed that day. As you can see from the attached contract/invoice the date paid is 1/30/(paid in full) and Mike S*** (employee) signed that he received the check on that date with the check numberNot sure how MrR*** states our driveway is 90% dirt and 10% gravel since to my knowledge he has NEVER been to my house or surveyed the damage caused by his company. The driveway was cleared with a snowblower so that is another misconception on his part. We were never asked about paying extra for gravel as you can see from above his foreman advised they were bringing gravel the following Monday with no mention that an additional $was requiredJanuary 30th once the water line was installed, John (foreman) advised they would return this spring to landscape, reseed the lawn and install the section of privacy fence that was removed during the digging. There was no discussion a cost would be involved, therefore, it should have been part of the original contract that the property would be fixed back to the original conditionOn February 22nd, gravel was brought. When I got home from work, Matthew (employee) was spreading gravel with a rake at the neighbor’s driveway. I introduced myself to Matthew and inquired if there was more gravel on the truck for my driveway. Matthew stated that was all the gravel he was told to bring and to fix the neighbors driveway and not mine. Matthew stated he has worked for the company for months. MrR*** is using diversionary tactics by attacking my and my husband’s character rather than sticking to the issues and trying to negociate an agreement that satisfies everyone. As the President of a company, I find him to be very unprofessionalAs for the rest of the durogatory remarks made regarding me and “maybe I can * another company”, I am certain as a Preacher, his congregation would be appalled to read his responses regarding this situationIn conclusion, this going back and forth with the “he said” “she said” is a waste of everyone’s time. If MrRyan did not run his company and his workers through threats and intimidation, they would be more upfront. He is unaware of what his foreman and crew are advising and promising the customersIt is time to mediate and negociate a settlement that all parties can come to an agreement

Problem: this is a follow up complaint, originally submitted 3/30/17, which "one call plumbing" agreed, with message from Revdex.com, to come on 4/11/and fix water leak, which they did come, and relayed"if any further leaks, call"...only the outside was dug up and "fixed", within one week, we had water in our basement, again, we called "One call plumbing", and relayed "will be there the next nice day to reseal the inside", which now is 5/11/17, and water is still evident in our basement,...today, 5/11/17, we again called "one call plumbing" with response "we will send someone today between and pm", with again, a no show, no call, We called "one call plumbing " at 645pm, and "josh" from "one call" relayed "will call you back in minutes", now again, fruitless,...TranslateFinish the JobThe contract guarantees...want water problem fixed in timely, professional manner., without further damage to home, propertyWe want the problem fixed, did not have this problem before this company came to "fix" sewage problem

We did install approximately ft of pipe, Ms*** is failing to add the fittings & cleanouts to the total amount of pipe used If you add that to the or ft, the total is @ ft of line There was never an agreement to come back in the Spring, she tried telling the Office Manager that the contract said we would be back in the Spring Once her contract was pulled Ms*** admitted that it did not state we would be returning in the SpringThe problem is in her old line that has not been replaced Our portion of line is functioning I am not replacing or fixing the remainder of her old line that we told her needed replaced As far as "crest of the hill", there are a series of hills in her yard We originally were going to the "base of the hill" but because of the condition of the pipe we had to tie into, we had to go a little farther We went past the crest of the first hill. There is nothing preventing Ms*** from having her old line replaced and her problem will be fixed The new company would simply tie into the line we installed at the cleanout I don't know why she would say that she can't have the rest of her line fixed The line we installed was not filled with mud when we were there Sewage was coming up out of the cleanout in her yard and will continue to come up because it flows through the portion of line we installed but then it can't go any further because her old line that she did not replace yet is compromised in some manner, it is either blocked or collapsed I don't see how she could possibly think that I am responsible for the portion of line she chose not to replace It says right on her contract that the rest of the line needs replaced

We did go to the *** residence on 4/11/and dug down to the foundation in the area originally excavated We sealed the portion of outside wall we exposed Apparently that did not resolve the issue so on 5/12/we went again to the residence and sealed the inside wall I don't know what more we can do

It is true that while doing a job at the neighbor, we hit the waterline of Ms*** The water company was onsite when the line was hit (pretty sure this was 1/29/16), it was not marked even though we called in digs on the property we were working atThe water company employee said he
would fix the line since it was not marked He did & we assisted Normally they do not fix a service line; however, this situation was different because the line was not marked When I spoke with Ms*** on 2/8/16, I was unaware that the water company employee actually did the repair Normally when that happens, the water company goes to the residence & informs them & flushes the line if necessary I was made aware that the water company did the repair by my Foreman on 2/9/ At that time, I placed a call to the water company, told them briefly what happened I left my name & number & They said they would look into it & would send someone out to the *** property I never said I was meeting with the water company, why would I need to meet with them? I never heard anything further from the water company.Within the next days I will go to the *** property & clean any screens that need cleaned I will not be paying for any faucets, as there would be no reason to replace bathroom faucets simply because there was a water line break As for the driveway issue, that was addressed with the complaint from the ***s The *** chose not to pay the additional money to our company to smooth out & gravel the driveway

In response to the complaint from Mr***, I have attached the contract which notes nothing about repairing their driveway and additionally contains the signature of his wife, *** on 1/30/stating that the work has been completed to her satisfaction If they were so dissatisfied, I
doubt she would have signed the acknowledgement It is true the neighbor's lines were hit during the digging; however, we corrected the issue A dig request was called in; however, no one was aware that the neighbor's lines ran through the ***'s property Therefore, those lines were not marked The neighbor's water line was repaired by the water company (who didn't even know the line ran through there) and the gas line was repaired by us at our expense Again, neither line was marked, nor did the property owner (Mr***) inform us that the nieghbor's lines ran through his property The ***'s water line was completed on Saturday 1/30/16, contrary to his statement. It should be mentioned that Mr*** informed us that they did have another contractor give them an estimate, that estimate, according to Mr*** was more than double our estimateIt is true that we did not begin the job on the date we anticipated, the area was blanketed by approximately feet of snow that had fallen on January & 23, The ***'s did not secure a date by putting any money down on the contract In fact, they would not pay any money until the job was 100% completed. The ***'s did not want to pay any more money than what they ended up paying We were not at our maximum estimate price - we told them we could bring in gravel; however, that would increase the price - it would have been the maximum, which was approximately $more than what they paidThey did not want to pay that.Mr*** states that he is waiting on a call from us, I'm not sure why, his call was returned Mr*** first called in about his driveway on Wednesday February 3, That is the only day he called & his call was returned by the Foreman He informed Mr*** again that if he wants gravel, he will be charged for it Mr*** declined.I am repeating myself but find it necessary to do so since the main complaint seems to be the driveway issue I can not stress enough the FACT that they had the OPTION to pay the maximum (roughly $more) and have us bring in gravel but they chose not to exercise that option They knew what they were doing, they are trying to take advantage of the complaint process in an attempt to try to get something for nothing

We will go to the residence tomorrow 4/11/17, as long as the rain holds out We need the ground to be dry when we dig so we don't create a huge mess of the yard We will excavate an area approximately ftat the house where we previously excavated & put sealer on the foundation in
that ft area
