Southeast Air Systems tried to overcharge us for a unit and when we decided not to buy their unit, their free quote became a $89.00 charge. They mislead us telling my wife to sign a form but that we wouldn't owe anything. Now while we were trying to resolve this through the Revdex.com, they started adding late charges and have threatened to place a mechanical lien on us all while were trying to resolve this issue. Anytime you call or try and discuss this with them they become vindictive and try to punish you with invoices and threats. We do not have a unit with them nor have they performed any services on our current units, but yet they keep harassing us with a $89 bill plus a new $20 late charge. Stay away from this company.

Southeast Air & Mechanical Systems, LLC continues to hassle us for a charge we do not owe. We called Southeast Air and Mechanical Systems, LLC along with two other companies to come look at our air system to see what it might cost to fix or replace. When we called and asked for someone to come give us a quote, no mention was made of a service charge to us by Southeast Air when the appointment was set. The technician came out and we told him what we thought the issue was as a prior company's bid told us what it appeared to be to them. The technician performed no work and agreed with us. He explained it would be a better idea to simply replace the unit due to age and never gave us a repair quote. He said he would get us a free estimate on what it would cost to replace. Their bid was for $5,139.00. We decided to go with another local company as they bid to replace our unit with the exact same unit offered by Southeast Air for $3,900.00. Not long after we had our unit replaced Southeast Air began to call us threatening to charge us a $89.00 service fee if we did not purchase from them. We never agreed to a $89.00 fee and no work was performed. The other HVAC companies we worked with are not badgering us like Southeast Air. Seems to me they are trying to punish us for buying elsewhere.

Desired Outcome

We do not have any unit with this company, nor was any work completed and we never agreed in writing or verbally to a service charge for a quote on our unit. Stop calling us and sending us a bills.

I am writing in regards to a notice I received on . This customer owes the attached billing and has signed for the debt acknowledging it was owed and that they will pay it. We have only contacted the customer trying to collect the money owed to us. On the day in question, we were contacted for a service call. Our technician went out inspected the unit and found the txv valve to be bad. We then quoted the customer on a new unit, per their request. All service calls are billable at $89.00 per hour and every customer is quoted that in advance. We are not in any way trying to punish the customer for choosing another company, we are merely trying to collect the money acknowledged by the customer that is owed to us. I received the invoice.
