Thank-you for getting involved to try to help meSo far, I have been powerless, insulted, and monetarily damaged They say "we have done everything we can do to satisfy this customer" Obviously, there is a huge difference between the words "can" & "will" These people snapped the leg off a treasured antique table The restoration expert (that quoted a modest price of $to repair it) said the breakage occurred by them putting too much weight on the table Therefore, their insurance company offering me $dollars is really all they are "willing" to do to satisfy this customer, they "can" easily satisfy me by merely fixing my table, which they are not "willing" to do!
The day of the more, I discovered the broken table, a broken decrotive stand up globe, broken lamp, lost items, and they were understaffed, and I was forced to stand in the middle of the street to direct traffic The foreman of the crew said that the broken items were totally their fault and for me not to worry about it, that they would take care of it, and it was a "no-brainer" They wanted cash payment, and gratuity I fed them lunch, I paid them and trusted the foreman at his word I decided to ignore all the other broken items, misleading pricing practices, poor performance, etc....and just focused on getting my table fixed They want to hide behind the "moving insurance I didn't buy".....if I buy a plane ticket, do I have too buy insurance so that my arm isn't broken during the flight?
I strongly believe these are bad people, using scrupulous business techniques Bait & switch on pricing, and when they have all your worldly belongings in their truck, and then tell you that the quoted "not to exceed price" is going to have to be double, they have you stuck and powerless Again, I am choosing to ignore all that I just want my table repaired.......$
I feel like a weak sell out for only asking for that, but this has been going on since late June I work hours per week, single father of 2, and I do not have time to fight this I know the difference between right and wrong I've sent them dozens of e-mails pleading to just "fix my table", and I would go away quietly
If you need a reference on me, I do a lot of business with Gregg Cantor from Murray Lampert Build, Remodel & Design He did my remodel, and I sell him advertising I am a year San Diegan, and I have run radio stations in the media community for years This is the first complaint I have ever made I've never sued anyone before I am not a "litigious Kook", I am a violated customer, and just want some justice.....oh yes, and my table fixed
Again, thank-you for any assistance you can provide I am trying to give the system a chance to work and use the remedies at my disposal

serious and we always do our best to resolve
matters as best we canIn this particular complaint as with any
complaint we understand that we were unable to bring a
satisfactory solution for the customer in questionAs noted by
our Revdex.com rating we have never and will never bait and switch any of
our clients
We advised the customer that we would not be able to
perform the job in question minutes after we received his credit
card informationAfter the customer relayed his disappointment we
gave the information to our owner and he advised our staff to
honor the quote in questionAt that time we contacted the
customer to advise we would honor the contract, the customer
stated that he had already found another companyOnce again we
would like to apologist for any inconvenience this situation may
have caused but we maintain we did everything within our power to
correct the situation

It is unfortunate that this move has escalated to this pointFirst and foremost the customer has not paid the remainder of their bill which is $and has since disputed the first half of their payment which was also $It was further explained that the claims process would be handled
once the move had been paid for. Miranda is not actually our customer and she did not set up this move*** *** set this move up on 7/09/on behalf of *** *** And expressed an urgency that the items be picked up the following day from her sons storage unit*** also signed and emailed back a credit card authorization form because the items were to be stored for an indefinite amount of time until her son could secure a new residence in Maine Our crew arrived at the unit on July 10th and began the process of inventory and took inventory of every item that was in customer storage, padded all items, and loaded them on the truckIn can be noted that all items were picked up as isOne Stop Moving and Storage was not hired for any packingJust picking up and loading into the truck then bringing back to our storage***s items were pre packed prior to our arrivalThere for they carry the term PBO which means packed by ownerWhich further emplies we cannot be held responsible for the contents or the claim of what those contents are because we have no visible proof of what those contents are. There was a second pick up at a residence where a few more items were picked up under the same terms. The items sat in our storage for two months per request of customer tell (storage receipts are on file) securing a new location. Our office received the call from *** *** that *** had found a home and then our long distance department made every reasonable attempt to get a truck available to deliverUnfortunately the destination, Rockport Maine, is not an easy thorough fair and that is where the delay beganWe try for two weeks to days for a delivery window but we were unable to meet thatIn conversation with *** we agreed to ship via freight in hopes for a better result.On 8/23/Write Way freight came to our storage to pick up the itemsThey individually weighed each item in order to give One Stop a price for shipping since they charge buy the weightIn the end their inventory matched exactly as ours. Upon delivery it is very likely that the freight driver pulled an empty 5x5xcrate off of his truck from a prior shipment in order to pull ***s shipment out and then forgot to put the empty back on the truckThis is conceivable due to the stress of the driver truck being broken down which *** had mentioned was happening. In ShortWe have documentation and cross documentation showing what we picked up and what we shippedThere was no glass table and there were actually only boxes.We are still awaiting payment in full of $we are already in negative because we have paid the freight company to shipOnce paid we would be more than happy to move forward with the claims process.***s mother, was the one who set this all up and she was emailed a copy of the quote which has the account number as well as the balance

The quote was done on the phone with ***I gave her a complete accounting of the item we were movingFurther, I moved months ago with exactly the same items using Amazing Movers, one of you recommended vendors and the bill was $550. 2. The 5% discount was given, however 5% does even come close to the difference in moneyI was also threatened by the movers that they wouldn't take my things off the truck if I didn't payI had no choice. 3. We have been discovering items missing, damaged and not assembled properly as we've been trying to get things organizedJust last night, a mirror that should have been secured on a dresser was just set thereWhen we slightly moved the dresser to plug in a lamp, the mirror fell damage the wall and almost injuring my wifeThe buffet top was not secure and the screw were missingAn antique curio is missing it's shelvesI went to find a gallery painting to hang in our living room, it's missingOther art is damagedBoxes that should've been upstairs were left in the garageA backyard refigerator was left in the garageWe have a complete messI have pictures of the damage to our wall, furniture and art and of the clearly marked boxes left in the garage.4. I think this company should not ever be recommended by anyone, especially the Revdex.com. I have called numerous times asking for my missing items and haven't had a returned callI've left messages and spoke with ***

My family of recently moved for the first time in over years and used One Stop Moving and Storage to help us pack and move our items Due to the amount of items we had to move and pack (some fragile, some big, some had to be packed last, first, etc) this took a lot of coordination with the sales/office staff to make sure all went well and was accounted for *** and *** (the office people I was working with) explained all the insurance coverage and procedures in case something broke and was very thorough in explaining how the movers would prevent boxes from going missing and breaking In the end, none of it was needed because nothing was lost or broken, but the fact that their office staff could explain the liability and insurance information to me in a clear way made me feel reassured Overall, this was a great experience for me and I would recommend them again

reflected by our many repeat customers and referrals that we receiveThis case is a very unique one based on the facts that I can personal attest to the move in questionThe customer in question contacted our company somewhere between 60-days after their move to report damages which is usual not a problem at allAs the manager I handle any customer complaints of damagesWhen the customer called to report the damage to their saw and kegerator I advised the customer at that time that I found that to be very odd due to the fact that I was personal there when his saw and kegerator where moved not only was I there I personal moved both items myself with no damage at all to either itemThe customer’s response was “Which mover were you?” I advised I was the manager that only came to the job because we needed to load the saw into a separate truckThis truck only had two items in it the saw and the kegerator which I had unloaded firstAs stated earlier not only did I personal move the kegerator the customer offered to sale it to me for $ stating that he never uses it and would like to sale the itemAfter I advised the customer that I knew for 100% certain that the items he claim to be damaged where not damaged we haven’t heard a word from them until nowOur claims are evaluated by an independent company (CSI Pros) with years of experience analyzing claims and they also found this claim to be unverifiableThe claim has also been amended to add additional items that were never before brought to our attentionWe treat every damage report very seriousWe fully understand that damages are possible during a move but we completely disagree with the statement made in this matter

Due to an oversight the check was not sent until 2/21/2018. The release form was signed by the customer stating that we have resolved the issue based on the $110.00 settlement agreement.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The problem is they cancelled the job two days after I told them I was going with them . Secondly their proposal to do the job as quoted was after the fact. I gave them a deadline to tell me if they would do the job. They called me and told me they would try to get me with another company of unknown reputation. They let the deadline pass which was several hours after they had cancelled me. They knew I would need to work quickly because I needed to complete the move this past weekend and that when the deadline past that I would need to go with someone else. After I told them I had gone with someone else and that I was filling a Revdex.com complaint they let me know that they would now honor their commitment. I told them it was too late because I had contracted with someone else and I would need to honor my contract unlike what they had done to me.  If they truly are the company they are trying to portray to you they would have never cancelled me and when I complained about it they should have immediately said they would honor their contract. They would not have argued with me and tried to tell me that the move should cost several thousand dollars more. They are unscrupulous as far as I am concerned.

I moved from downtown San Diego to North San Diego (Carlsbad)
Manuel and his crew were amazing, they even helped me to load my car since it was raining and I had hard time doing it.

Overall great job by the guys. I had a extremely large and difficult two day move and they did the job very fast and efficient. They worked hard the whole day they even worked when I asked them to take a break very pleased with the service.

I used One Stop Moving and Storage for the 2nd time and always had an awesome experience! the movers wrapped my furniture in moving pads and packed my entire kitchen in only 1 hr. the price was very reasonable and they also gave me 20 free boxes!
overall experience was great, will use them for my next move this summer!
