After reviewing the response from the complainant we have to
reiterate our original position on this matter. We feel we have done
everything possible to resolve the situation. Unfortunately we can
not come to a conclusion that is agreeable by both parties at this
time.

We here at One Stop Moving and Storage take every complaint very serious.
We pride our self's on providing a world class moving experience for our
customers. After reviewing the complaint file in this manner we are absolutely
shocked by the complaint. Upon reading the complaint is the...

first that we
have ever heard in this matter. We haven't received and communication from
the customer in question. We work very hard to maintain not only or Revdex.com
rating but our reputation as well. We always make a valid attempt to resolve
any concerns or complaints brought fourth by our customers. Unfortunately
we were never giving a chance to resolve this matter which is very disturbing
and shocking. We have procedures in place to assist with damages the customer
in question here has not filed a claim for damages at all. We quoted the
customer a price for the move and also gave a Do Not Exceed to guarantee the
price didn't exceed 1,396.00 our crew worked 14 hours on this move so its hard
to imagine that items were left behind. We look forward to resolving this issue
with the customer in question.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The problem is they cancelled the job two days after I told them I was going with them . Secondly their proposal to do the job as quoted was after the fact. I gave them a deadline to tell me if they would do the job. They called me and told me they would try to get me with another company of unknown reputation. They let the deadline pass which was several hours after they had cancelled me. They knew I would need to work quickly because I needed to complete the move this past weekend and that when the deadline past that I would need to go with someone else. After I told them I had gone with someone else and that I was filling a Revdex.com complaint they let me know that they would now honor their commitment. I told them it was too late because I had contracted with someone else and I would need to honor my contract unlike what they had done to me. 
If they truly are the company they are trying to portray to you they would have never cancelled me and when I complained about it they should have immediately said they would honor their contract. They would not have argued with me and tried to tell me that the move should cost several thousand dollars more. They are unscrupulous as far as I am concerned.

This letter is in response to complaint number [redacted]. We
here at One Stop Moving & Storage take every customer
complaint very serious...

and we always do our best to resolve
matters as best we can. In this particular complaint as with any
complaint we understand that we were unable to bring a
satisfactory solution for the customer in question. As noted by
our Revdex.com rating we have never and will never bait and switch any of
our clients. We advised the customer that we would not be able to
perform the job in question 30 minutes after we received his credit
card information. After the customer relayed his disappointment we
gave the information to our owner and he advised our staff to
honor the quote in question. At that time we contacted the
customer to advise we would honor the contract, the customer
stated that he had already found another company. Once again we
would like to apologist for any inconvenience this situation may
have caused but we maintain we did everything within our power to
correct the situation.

I recently moved from LA to Del Mar California. My experience with One Stop Moving was great. My move was very complicated and involved two trucks and placing some of my items in storage. All of my belongings arrived in pristine condition.

reputation and our great standing with the Revdex.com.

claim serious and always attempt to resolve the
situation with our customer satisfaction in mind. In this
particular situation we understand their was some damages during
the movie which was a very challenging move due to the layout of
the residence. We advised the customer that we recommend that she
should not attempt to place those items upstairs in her unit due
to the size of the furniture in relation to the very small and
curved stair case at hr new location. Per the request of the
customer we made an attempt to do so which resulted in some damage
to the location. Upon learning of the damage we sent out a very
qualified employee with years of construction experience. Our
employee repaired the damage to the ceiling and went to a local
hardware store to attempt to replace the floor threshold. The
threshold in question was never properly installed as we advised
the customer by showing her the imbalance between her laminate
floors and the tile floor in the kitchen. Even after advising the
customer we still made an attempt to replace the floor threshold
but we were unsuccessful in finding one that matches her floor. We
acknowledge that we did cause some minor damages and we have
contacted the customer to try and reach a mutual decision. The
customer stated she would like her furniture looked at by a
furniture repair specialist and would like to have a floor guy
repair her floor although all damage claims are handled by CSI Pros we are in the process of resolving the issue
with the customer.

Since the time of the last rebuttal we have done everything possible to resolve this matter with a satisfactory solution. We have rein burst the client for material purchased to repair the ceiling damage. We also contacted CSI Insurance to allow the client to add additional items to her original claim. We have completely closed out the claims for the damages. The customer has been mailed check for damages. We have a release form signed by the customer acknowledging that we have done as promised. We sent a additional repair guy to the customer home to survey the threshold board. He agreed with the initial review that the threshold board was not properly instal during the initial instillation. Both repair guys and the customer have not been able to find a suitable replacement. We here at One Stop Moving take every claim very seriously and we are willing to do everything in our power to satisfy our customers. Attached is a signed copy of the release form.Thank You

We have reviewed the rejection from the customer in question and we at no point plan on or have we attempted to lie or misrepresent the facts in this case. We can only go by the information we received from the client and the workers on the job. We prefer not to say the customer or  workers or lying about the fact, we would rather spend this time to come to a resolution that will satisfy the parties involved. We look forward to hearing from the customer with a suggested solution to resolve this matter.

We here at One Stop Moving value each and every customer. We value every move and treat every item with extreme care and professionalism. In this particular matter we have done all that we can do to satisfy this customer under the terms of the agreement that we have in place. The customer choose to...

have only the basic insurance that we offer which is 0.60 per pound. As when you rent a car they offer you min. insurance and full coverage and we have a similar procedure when covering damages during a move. We offered the customer  well above the standard industry rate of 0.60 per pound. Unfortunately we have not been able to reach a satisfactory conclusion. We still look forward to assisting the customer and making some arrangement that will be fair to each party.

[The fact of the matter is their position is untrue.  There so called
reviews maybe, or not be where they are due to the fact they want their/your
survey immediately after delivery... Its not until you have had some
time to go through your belongings that you start discovering all of these
items damaged.  I also took pictures of the items as I found them as the
pictures also provide time and date of when they were taken in the Meta data of
the file.  I'm attaching them for all to see.  I didn't take photos
of the refrigerator at the time so if anyone would like to see the damage on
the front from where it took some abuse I will gladly take a few.  The
statement of 50 dollars is out of context given the price of it new one and
just ridiculous.... that isn't even reasonable and you can clearly see in the
photos where someone tried to screw the screws back in after it was ripped off
is what it looks like and sprayed with foam so much that it is literally
rolling down on the inside on the hoses.  The Mitre saw being a sturdy
machine was clearly impacted so hard a corner is crushed the pictures are what
they are proof.   There so called insurance company that is so good at
what they do offered only 36 dollars which for these types of damages is just
insulting to say the least and that is personal.  If the
manager Personally moved these items how is it then nothing like this
was noticed, the only reason could be is so that when someone is in the
position that we are they can try and claim it didn't happen while they had our
property how could they not notice that a chair had its leg completely broken
snapped.   If they will not even take responsibility for a chair they
surely wouldn't want to for more expensive items.  Which is why we choose
to contact Revdex.com as we knew from their insurance adjuster message that we would
get no where.

We would first like to apologize for any misunderstanding in this matter. Our recorded show that the customer was double bill for her storage charges. Once we were notified of the mistake we immediately issued a full refund to the card. I personal called the customer and advised that the funds...

were returned to the original card. I left the customer a voicemail advising that the funds have been returned. The complete process from the time of the call until the funds were returned was less than 48 hours. We were notified of the charge July 12 the return was process on July 14th. We have been in business many years and we have maintained a great standing with the Revdex.com and or customers. Once again we are sorry for the mistake but as per our company policy we issued the customer a refund immediately.

I really appreciated the service I received from One Stop Moving. I recently had to move from my home of 27 years after the death of my husband so it was a very emotional time. The crew at One Stop Moving made my move very simple and easy. [redacted] and the other guys came in and handled all my furniture with care. The guys worked very hard and they were very pleasent.

Here at One Stop Moving & Storage we take great pride in the work that
we do. We pride our self on providing a world class moving expereiance.
Even with the pro-cautions we have in place damages do occur. In
reference to this particular case we maintain that we did not cause any
damages to...

the elevator in question. Upon arriving at the location or
workers proceeded to use the elevator at the location, after the first
trip in the elevator I our employee noticed the elevator was not
operating correctly. Our foreman stated the elevator was moving very
slow and that they would use the stairs instead. At know time did any of
our workers force open the elevator. Per our workers at the job site
they only use the elevator once and it was still working after they used
it. After reviewing the invoice from the elevator companies invoice the
elevator tech states elevators normal operations are ok additional bolts
put in per customers request. After reviewing all the fact in the case
we advised the customer we are not responsible for the damages. We value
all of our customers and we look forward to finding a satisfactory
conclusion to this matter.

1.  Again, OS Movers have promised to schedule both a flooring contractor and furniture repair specialist to correct the damage they did to my home BUT they have not followed through.
     I believe this is another stalling tactic meant only to settle with Revdex.com.  The two damaged thresh hold laminate boards can be purchased at any flooring company and replaced or as I stated to OS, 
     I would accept payment and arrange the repair myself.   The furniture damage they did needs to be repaired or I should be financially compensated.
2.   OS states in their response that the ceiling repair was done by an experienced workman.  I have attached a photo ta[redacted] AFTER his repair attempt to show the unsatisfactory result.  In addition,
      I was notified that my bed could not be moved upstairs only AFTER the ceiling and walls had been damaged. 
3.   My main complaint is that [redacted], the "manager" after viewing the damages, told me NOT to file with the company insurance provider, CSI.  He promised me for months that all of the damage -
      floors, walls, ceiling and furniture would be repaired by licensed contractors hired and paid for by OS Movers.   When the promised repairs were never scheduled by OS,  I attempted to file a
      claim with CSI and was told it was too late and that I was only allowed my one original claim for loss of my telescope.  (I did NOT accept the proposed settlement of that claim for a mere $14.00).
      [redacted] lied to me and the company is still lying in their response.  The damage and loss occurred Dec. 3, 2013 and I am still waiting for a resolution over 4 months later.

[That is a complete lie.  The workers used the elevator about 5-6 times before they broke the latch.  Then they complained they had to lug up the furniture/boxes up the stairs.  If they want, I can have the elevator repairman rewrite what was done and what was wrong.
he wrote a quick note saying he put the bolts in the the elevator was then working.  He spent 2 hrs on it.]
