Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Of course you would explain away your companies bad actionsJust to be clear, I did NOT give Mr [redacted] permission to hard run my credit as I mentioned several times previouslyAnd as I also mentioned previously, I did sign paperwork, but Mr [redacted] and I had a verbal agreement that he would not run a hard check against meI don't care anything about your apology to me because it is disingenuousAs a business, you are accustomed to writing off customer complaints so long as you don't have to take responsibility for your actionsI am not asking for money (yet) all I want are those credit checks erased from my reportI'm prepared to file a suit against your company if no action is made on my reportI already have a friend lawyer on speed dialYou should not get away with breaking verbal agreements with your customers Regards, [redacted] ***

I purchased a new ford truck back in I was mentally abused by the salesmen who was nice at first I got approved for the truck, then after I was approved he got nasty toward me accusing me of not being truthful about the incomeI was threaten with the police and that they was coming to get itHis manager wasn't pleasant to deal with either he was rude and nasty and saying they was coming to get the truck back but eventually everything worked out and I kept the truckNobody deserves to be treated this badly, of course I went to get the free oil change and of course the manager and salesmen was not friendlyI never been back their but later I kept receiving e-mails about getting a new truckThis new salesmen led me on about, being approved for a ne truckI was just crazy to see about trying to get a new vehicle threw them then he came back and said the manager said no It was the same manager who was so rude and nasty toward meIt was my fault for trying to do business with them but the salesmen led me onI will never buy anything else from this ford place again or get oil changes there

Customer’s Statement of the Problem:Took my Ford / F-to the Opelika dealership for service, diagnosis and repair times for the same problem - losing powerDealership allegedly diagnosed problem each time, charged me heavily for it, but their repairs never corrected the problem I was havingThey stated they replaced the wiring harness on the first visitUpon the 2nd they replaced the fuel pumpI have proof they did but I kept experiencing the same problem - losing powerThe third time I took my vehicle to the dealership they kept my vehicle for approximately weeks if not moreDuring this time they failed to stay in contact with me after specifically asking them to do so during their diagnosisAfter becoming concerned and impatient I visited the dealership, spoke with service personnel who advised I needed $worth of fuel injections and laborI was not comfortable with their finding, paid a alleged $diagnosis fee, had my vehicle removed/towed from the dealership and delivered to a certified AAA repair shop in Auburn, AlabamaAt the recommended AAA shop they re-diagnosed my vehicle to advised I did not have a injector, wiring harness or fuel pump problem, but a turbo issueThey replaced / rebuilt my turbo, stayed in touch with me during repairs and serviceMost importantly, my F-runs great like never before with much power! [redacted] ***Opelika Ford was quick and polite with taking my money , but was unprofessional, unjust and untruthful with service and repairsI have saved my receipts to hopefully prove itIn a nutshell, Opelika Ford made alleged repairs (replacing parts) to my vehicle that possibly had nothing to do with correcting my problemThey don't have to worry about me anymoreI am done with them for good FIRST VISIT FOR MR [redacted] WAS ON 11/05/RO# [redacted] 123,MILES, CUSTOMER STATED VEHICLE HAD A ROUGH IDLE AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON AND VEICLE DOES NOT HAVE FULL POWER – WE RAN DIAGNOSIS AND FOUND MULTIPLE DTC CODES, P0264, P1316, P1294, WE REMOVED DRIVERS SIDE VALVE COVER AND REPLACED VALVE COVER GASKET WITH NEW DESIGNWE ALSO REPLACED THE INJECTOR HARNESS THAT RUNS UNDER THE VALVE COVERCUSTOMER PAID FOR REPAIR OF HARNESS UNDER VALVE COVER AND VALVE COVER GASKET WE TEST DROVE VEHICLE AND FOUND VEHICLE OPERATING PROPERLY ON 5/06/RO# *** – 125,MILES CUSTOMER RETURNED AND STATED WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD VEHICLE LOST POWER AND SHUT OFF AND COULD NOT RESTART – WE PERFORMED DIAGNOSIS AND FOUND FUEL PRESSURE TO BE AT PSIWE RECOMMENED REPLACING FUEL PUMP DUE TO NO FUEL PRESSURE, CUSTOMER PAID TO REPLACE FUEL PUMPWE TEST DROVE VEHICLE AND FOUND VEHICLE OPERATING PROPERLY ON 10/13/RO# *** – 126,MILES CUSTOMER STATES LOSS OF POWER HARD TIME STARTING, TURNED ON THEN THE VEHICLE WOULD SHUT OFF AND LOSS OF POWER PERFORMED DIAGNOSIS AND WITH FORD IDS SOFTWARE LAPTOP WE FOUND CYLINDERS #AND SHOWING MISFIRES/SKIPPING, AND DTC’S P1247, P– DTC PIS LOW TURBO BOOST CODE, TECHINICIAN RECOMMENED STARTING WITH REPLACING FUEL INJECTORS FIRST AND A POSSIBLE DIESEL FUEL INDUCTION CLEANINGREVISIT TURBO BOOST CODE AFTER FIXING SKIPPING ISSUE CUSTOMER DECLINED REPAIRS AT THIS TIME AND ELECTED TO PAY FOR DIAGNOSIS WE DO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT WE FAILED TO KEEP UP PROPER COMMUNICATIONS WITH THE CUSTOMERON HIS LAST VISIT WE DID HAVE VEHICLE FOR THREE WEEKS AND DID NOT COMMUNICATE TO CUSTOMER PROPER UPDATES OF OUR FINDINGS IF ANYCUSTOMER VEHICLE EVEN THOUGH HIS CONCERN WAS LOSS OF POWER, THE VEHICLE HAD A DIFFERENT PROBLEM ALL DIRECTLY CAUSING TO HAVE A (LOSS OF POWER SYMPTOM) THE FUEL PUMP WAS THE MOST SIMPLE SINCE THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT EVEN START AT ALL AND WHEN TESTING THE FUEL PUMP IT HAD NO FUEL PRESSURETHE HARNESS WAS REPLACED NOVEMBER OF DUE TO (DTC CODE PINJECTOR DRIVER CIRCUIT OPERATION) THE VALVE COVER GASKET LEAKING OIL OVER THE HARNESS CAUSED THE HARNESS TO FAIL (ELECTRICAL SHORT) WHICH IN TURN CAUSED LOSS OF POWER DUE TO THE FUEL INJECTER HARNESS CIRCUIT FAILURE IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME AT ###-###-#### EXT [redacted]

Revdex.com, We have been in constant contact with the customer for final resolution, but I am not sure this is going to take care of the problem We have offered to take care of all concerns he addressed on the we owe and he doesn't seem to be very happy with that Today is December 19th, and our last contact with Mr [redacted] was on December 18th, and we had made arrangements since we do not have a body shop to set him up with Columbus Body Works Columbus Body Works is a very reputable business and closer to him In his letter he now states that his air-conditioning is not working, and that would be a warrantied item and that should be taken care of by the manufacture I received a letter today sent priority mail stating he wants to arbitrate I don't have anything more to offer so he needs to let you or Opelika Ford know if he wishes to proceedThank you, [redacted] General Manager, Opelika Ford, and Opelika CDJR

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] Regards, [redacted] To whom it may concernYes,I did come in your office and fill out a credit application and a privacy notice, at that time my sale's Burke said you guys were to run my credit with Chryslerand it did not get approvedBurke or any of your other finance department explained to me you was going to run my credit with + other banksif Chrysler didn't approve me or the first banks you ran my credit with, without my knowledge why would you keep running it over and over, no is no, and as I told Burke when I left Saturday after I came up with a bigger down payment I would come back when I was ready that does not mean to keep running my credit all day Saturday and still on Sunday after you have already told me I was not approved, Maybe when you are doing a deal you should explain to your customer if your not approved with one bank we will run it with other banks, instead of here sign this it gives us permission to run your credit with our CHRYSLER department, and after Burke told me it wasn't approved he said we could try our ford department to see about getting approved and I told him I would wait,so there for as my sale's man and the finance manager they should of not even tryed to keep on and keep on running itBurke knew when I left there I would come back when I saved up some money, so why would you keep trying to approve me? this is illegal, you never told me not one time Burke or Your finance manager your company was going to run my credit over and over and over

I went through the purchase process on a vehicle with Opelika Ford starting 5/concluding and scheduling pickup in the evening on 5/11/ I have a purchase agreement with Sales Manager signature dated 5/10/2018, I provided loan approval documentation, copy of ID, proof of insurance etcthroughout the day 5/11/ The Sales manager had answered questions about our taking delivery of the vehicle and we scheduled pick up with our salesman the afternoon of 5/11/ One hour and fifteen minutes into our drive to the dealership and just prior to arrival at the dealership(an hour earlier than expected i.ewe were not late picking up the vehicle) we were informed it had been sold I was told it's "first come, first served" yet the customers buying the vehicle when I arrived had only started the transaction that day and documentation I have in hand(purchase agreement) with signature of Opelika Ford Sales Mgris dated the day beforeIn this instance, they were not true to their word Copies of supporting documentation availableThis is unethical and unprofessional to say the least I don't recommend doing business at this dealership

Had a great experienceEveryone was so friendly and experiencedThey made the whole buying experience easy and less stressfulI will be back

***,
I am sorry that it has taken this long to handle this complaint I was under the impression that it was resolvedWhat this gentleman is looking for is not out there for himWe have sent it to two different body shops because we do not have our on
location and the car looked perfect by all professional opinion that looked at the carThat was not good enough so we had a professional detailer pick the car up and detailed , and waxed the car and it was beautifulThe $he is looking for diminished value is not the caseIt will not affect the value one dollarThe car will not show up on car fax because it was touch up and was not turned over to any Insurance Company, and buy the way we provided the customer with a new vehicle to drive while we were trying to take care of our customerWe have done all we can do and all we are going to do pertaining to the paint on his carWe will continue to service his vehicle or take of anything else that is covered under the Manufacture Warranty

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***I was suprised on how thorough in the response they wereI received a phone call from the business - Service Dept- on Thursday In their verbal and proposed apology during the call I "NOW" realize and understand their response with this matterThankfully, with the help of Revdex.com, their professional attention is at handRespectfully speaking, as I recall stating this before, I would like to be refunded the larbor charges; specifically for two visits (1st & 2nd)According to the business response, they actually performed and worked on my vehicle in their alleged attempt to honor their suggested maintenance and repairs thereofWith a received refund I will find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolvedRegardless of the outcome, I am grateful and appreciate you Revdex.com!!!!!!!!

To whom it may concern,
In reference to *** ***'s issues with his Ford F150., first I would like to explain our process for vehicle PDI and new vehicle deliveryWhen the carrier brings the vehicles to our dealership the driver and the pre delivery inspector go over
the vehicle from bumper to bumperAny damage to the vehicle is noted at that time and reported if any damageAfter the vehicle is sold we have three more checkpoints, demonstration drive2.Clean up departmentAnd actual delivery where the customer and salesperson inspects the vehicleIn none of these processes was the vehicle found damaged or running strange or sluggish*** *** brought vehicle into our service department they inspected vehicle and found no mechanical issues with the vehicleAt this time there had been over miles put on vehicle, and our professional opinionIt looks like there was a seat belt or some hard object close in the doorWe do not have a body shop, so we offered to send to and outside body shop to help with the issue, he refused the only time he could come would be after hours which we have no control over the body shop hoursThe possibility of buying his vehicle back we see no reason why Ford should buy it back.
Thank You

Revdex.com: the business had completed the repairs to my vehicle to my satisfaction. I have no further issues with the business at all. I feel that they did go above and beyond to try and rectify the issue that was caused by the first body shop.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

To whom this may concern,
Mr. [redacted] the General Manager contacted  Mr. [redacted] , and invited him to the Dealership to try to find a resolution to his complaint. After talking this out they came to a mutual resolution,a and Mr. [redacted] left the Dealership Very satisfied . For any...

other information on this situation pleas call.
Thank you [redacted]

We
apologize that Ms. [redacted]...

feels like she had a bad experience at our
dealership.  When she came in we did have
an outside sale going on which Mr. [redacted] was a part of.  Ms. [redacted] came in looking for a particular
vehicle that we did not have at the time so Mr. [redacted] showed her a vehicle
that just came in on trade.  This vehicle
that Mr. [redacted] showed her was still dirty because it had not been through our
detail department yet since it had just been traded.  She did not like that vehicle and Mr. [redacted]
kept in touch to let her know if we got anything in that she might like.  While Ms. [redacted] was here she gave her
information for us to run her credit, and all credit applications are signed by
the customer granting us permission to do so.
Once we pull someone’s credit that has poor credit, we only submit them
to the lender that we think we might be able to get a deal bought and when we
are turned down by that lender we then submit to other lenders.  Again, we apologize for any misunderstanding
that Ms. [redacted] may have had during her time with us here at the dealership.  As to her request about removing the inquires
on her credit, we are unable to remove anything from her bureau.  If you should have any other questions,
please feel free to contact me!

In reference to Mr. [redacted] concern's, Opelika Ford has not attempted a repair. Mr. [redacted] brought his vehicle into our service department for inspection and it was determined that the issue with the doors was caused by an outside source, and is not warrantable . Mr. [redacted] stated to us  that it was worse after King Ford had tried to adjust  the doors. The vehicle can be repaired, and we will be happy to assist the customer to make this happen. This issue does not warrant buy back. If Mr. [redacted] would like we would be glad to take pictures of his vehicle to sent to Ford Motor company for review.
Thank you

Revdex.com, or whom this may concern,
Here at Opelika Ford, and Opelika CDJR we  are sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused you. Being two new stores in the community, we try our very best to serve our customer...

with the up most respect, and had we been told to only send Mrs. Kirkland to one lender that's what we would have done. In this case Mrs. Kirkland had less than perfect credit and was going to need some help, and by the way not only did she fill out an online application , but she filled a hard copy application when she arrived at our Dealership. After reviewing her deal file I see that she did fill out and sign the PRIVACY NOTICE TO CUSTOMER that I have attached to this e-mail. This was a request from the customer to secure financing. I am afraid there is nothing we can do at this time, and nor do I feel that we have done anything that should warrant making any corrections to Mrs. Kirkland's Credit. Thank you for notifying us that we had an upset customer, we will work harder that every customer under stands that when securing credit that in most cases there credit will be sent to more than one lender. If you should have any further questions please fill free to call me.

Thank you,
