I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Of course you would explain away your companies bad actions. Just to be clear, I did NOT give Mr [redacted] permission to hard run my credit as I mentioned several times previously. And as I also mentioned previously, I did sign paperwork, but Mr [redacted] and I had a verbal agreement that he would not run a hard check against me. I don't care anything about your apology to me because it is disingenuous. As a business, you are accustomed to writing off customer complaints so long as you don't have to take responsibility for your actions. I am not asking for money (yet) all I want are those credit checks erased from my report. I'm prepared to file a suit against your company if no action is made on my report. I already have a friend lawyer on speed dial. You should not get away with breaking verbal agreements with your customers.

In reference to the above customer Mr. [redacted], we set-up the appointment to have all the work done on his vehicle, the vehicle was dropped off the night before for the bed-liner to be installed and the floor mats, key cut and...

programmed and dents to be removed. The dent-man unfortunately was not able to do the dent the day we had planned to do the dent, it was a day later when the dent man came in to repair the dent that was on the hood of the vehicle, after the dent was fixed we put gas in his truck and had his truck delivered back to him. In reference to the truck he was driving it had been thru our shop and detail and to my knowledge it was a clean truck and there was not leaks or signs of oil leaks on our lot also we have sold that truck and have had no complaints from the current customer that has purchased that truck, also that loaner truck that was traded in was traded from a close friend that don't even smoke. We feel that we have went above and beyond to help this customer. We also do apologize for any confusion that he may have and hope everything goes good for him.

We have been in constant contact with the customer for final resolution, but I am  not sure this is going to take care of the problem.  We have offered to take care of all concerns he addressed on the we owe and he doesn't seem to be very happy with...

that.  Today is December 19th, and our last contact with Mr. [redacted] was on December 18th, and we had made arrangements since we do not have a body shop to set him up with Columbus Body Works.  Columbus Body Works is a very reputable  business and closer to him.  In his letter he now states that his air-conditioning is not working, and that would be a warrantied item and that should be taken care of by the manufacture.  I received a letter today sent priority mail stating he wants to arbitrate.  I don't have anything more to offer so he needs to let you or Opelika Ford know if he wishes to proceed. Then why did Opelika Ford keep my Truck all day ?
A great inconvience to me. And I told you the door was leaking before I left the Truck. And there's still that stalling out issue.

To whom it may concern. Yes,I did come in your office and fill out a credit application and a privacy notice, at that time my sale's Burke said you guys were to run my credit with Chrysler. and it did not get approved. Burke or any of your other finance department explained to me you was going to run my credit with 10 + other banks. if Chrysler didn't approve me or the first 3 banks you ran my credit with, without my knowledge why would you keep running it over and over, no is no, and as I told Burke when I left Saturday after I came up with a bigger down payment I would come back when I was ready.  that does not mean to keep running my credit all day Saturday and still on Sunday after you have already told me I was not approved, Maybe when you are doing a deal you should explain to your customer if your not approved with one bank we will run it with 10 other banks, instead of here sign this it gives us permission to run your credit with our CHRYSLER department, and after Burke told me it wasn't approved he said we could try our ford department to see about getting approved and I told him I would wait,so there for as my sale's man and the finance manager they should of not even tryed to keep on and keep on running it. Burke knew when I left there I would come back when I saved up some money, so why would you keep trying to approve me? this is illegal, you never told me not one time Burke or Your finance manager your company was going to run my credit over and over and over.

8.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI', sans-serif;">Customer’s Statement of the Problem:Took my Ford 1999 / F-550 to the Opelika dealership for service, diagnosis and repair 3 times for the same problem - losing power. Dealership allegedly diagnosed problem each time, charged me heavily for it, but their repairs never corrected the problem I was having. They stated they replaced the wiring harness on the first visit. Upon the 2nd they replaced the fuel pump. I have proof they did but I kept experiencing the same problem - losing power. The third time I took my vehicle to the dealership they kept my vehicle for approximately 2 weeks if not more. During this time they failed to stay in contact with me after specifically asking them to do so during their diagnosis. After becoming concerned and impatient I visited the dealership, spoke with service personnel who advised I needed $2000.00 worth of fuel injections and labor. I was not comfortable with their finding, paid a alleged $100.00 diagnosis fee, had my vehicle removed/towed from the dealership and delivered to a certified AAA repair shop in Auburn, Alabama. At the recommended AAA shop they re-diagnosed my vehicle to advised I did not have a injector, wiring harness or fuel pump problem, but a turbo issue. They replaced / rebuilt my turbo, stayed in touch with me during repairs and service. Most importantly, my F-550 runs great like never before with much power! [redacted]. Opelika Ford was quick and polite with taking my money , but was unprofessional, unjust and untruthful with service and repairs. I have saved my receipts to hopefully prove it. In a nutshell, Opelika Ford made alleged repairs (replacing parts) to my vehicle that possibly had nothing to do with correcting my problem. They don't have to worry about me anymore. I am done with them for good.

WE ALSO REPLACED THE INJECTOR HARNESS THAT RUNS UNDER THE VALVE COVER. CUSTOMER PAID FOR REPAIR OF HARNESS UNDER VALVE COVER AND VALVE COVER GASKET
WE TEST DROVE VEHICLE AND FOUND VEHICLE OPERATING PROPERLY

CUSTOMER RETURNED AND STATED WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD VEHICLE LOST POWER AND SHUT OFF AND COULD NOT RESTART –
WE PERFORMED DIAGNOSIS AND FOUND FUEL PRESSURE TO BE AT 0 PSI. WE RECOMMENED REPLACING FUEL PUMP DUE TO NO FUEL PRESSURE, CUSTOMER PAID TO REPLACE FUEL PUMP.
WE TEST DROVE VEHICLE AND FOUND VEHICLE OPERATING PROPERLY

CUSTOMER STATES LOSS OF POWER HARD TIME STARTING, TURNED ON THEN THE VEHICLE WOULD SHUT OFF AND LOSS OF POWER
PERFORMED DIAGNOSIS AND WITH FORD IDS SOFTWARE LAPTOP WE FOUND CYLINDERS #1 AND 7 SHOWING MISFIRES/SKIPPING, AND DTC’S P1247, P1670 –
DTC P1247 IS LOW TURBO BOOST CODE, TECHINICIAN RECOMMENED STARTING WITH REPLACING 4 FUEL INJECTORS FIRST AND A POSSIBLE DIESEL FUEL INDUCTION CLEANING. REVISIT TURBO BOOST CODE AFTER FIXING SKIPPING ISSUE
CUSTOMER DECLINED REPAIRS AT THIS TIME AND ELECTED TO PAY FOR DIAGNOSIS
 
WE DO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT WE FAILED TO KEEP UP PROPER COMMUNICATIONS WITH THE CUSTOMER. ON HIS LAST VISIT WE DID HAVE VEHICLE FOR THREE WEEKS AND DID NOT COMMUNICATE TO CUSTOMER PROPER UPDATES OF OUR FINDINGS IF ANY.
CUSTOMER VEHICLE EVEN THOUGH HIS CONCERN WAS LOSS OF POWER, THE VEHICLE HAD A DIFFERENT PROBLEM ALL DIRECTLY CAUSING TO HAVE A (LOSS OF POWER SYMPTOM)
THE FUEL PUMP WAS THE MOST SIMPLE SINCE THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT EVEN START AT ALL AND WHEN TESTING THE FUEL PUMP IT HAD NO FUEL PRESSURE.
THE HARNESS WAS REPLACED NOVEMBER OF 2013 DUE TO (DTC CODE P1294 INJECTOR DRIVER CIRCUIT OPERATION) THE VALVE COVER GASKET LEAKING OIL OVER THE HARNESS CAUSED THE HARNESS TO FAIL (ELECTRICAL SHORT) WHICH IN TURN CAUSED LOSS OF POWER DUE TO THE FUEL INJECTER HARNESS CIRCUIT FAILURE

I purchased a new ford truck back in 2009. I was mentally abused by the salesmen who was nice at first I got approved for the truck, then after I was approved he got nasty toward me accusing me of not being truthful about the income. I was threaten with the police and that they was coming to get it. His manager wasn't pleasant to deal with either he was rude and nasty and saying they was coming to get the truck back but eventually everything worked out and I kept the truck. Nobody deserves to be treated this badly, of course I went to get the free oil change and of course the manager and salesmen was not friendly. I never been back their but later I kept receiving e-mails about getting a new truck. This new salesmen led me on about, being approved for a ne truck. I was just crazy to see about trying to get a new vehicle threw them then he came back and said the manager said no. It was the same manager who was so rude and nasty toward me. It was my fault for trying to do business with them but the salesmen led me on. I will never buy anything else from this ford place again or get oil changes there.
