Orlando RV Reviews (%countItem)

I feel compelled to write this long review in hopes to save other consumers from being taken advantage of.

RV one now Orlando RV sold me a unit... First sign, they let me drive off the lot with no brakes and we almost had a horrible accident. Second, they sold me the RV with an extensive amount of water damage causing black mold to come through the walls I did the right thing and called my insurance and they told me that there's no way this was only in the year I've owned it. The back wall was so soft that his hand almost went through it. Third, the shower leaks and floods into my living area and my master bedroom into the undercarriage causing.. yep you guessed it more water damage. I took it in and the staff was rude, ran my battery completely dead so I couldn't expand the unit.. and surprise the warranty they sold me (turns out RV one owns it) won't cover anything.

I contact RV one upper office to see if they would make it right yep you guessed it again! absolutely not! I purchased this RV to save money for a down payment on a house for my family.. outcome I ended up doing a voluntary repossession... After rebuilding my credit from a divorce I lost everything in. Unlike RV one I would never sell something to someone that is a health hazard and just downright dangerous.

I will say the employee in the upper position I dealt with was very cordial but her hands are tied and she could not help me at all.

I hope this review helps future customers, and tiny living it amazing when you're dealing with honest people and a honest company. RV one / Orlando RV is not. 1st time RV buyer boy did I learn!

Orlando RV Response • Mar 21, 2019

The customer purchase a used 2015 RV and returned to service over a year after purchase from us.

The leak from was diagnosed coming from the shower door. Water was getting out when in use. Because of this being neglected it caused extensive damages. Extended Warranty, not owned by Orlando RV, declined coverage.

Leak was found down the back wall. This was diagnosed as lack of roof maintenance. We offered to reseal the roof but the customer refused to pay and left with the unit.

In closing if the water leaking from the shower doors was addressed soon the damages would not have been so extensive. And if the roof was properly maintained the damages would not have been as extensive.

This company of course would reply in this manner. Consumers already know.

Buyers Beware. The finance department uses unnecessarily strong pressure tactics when trying to close the deal. Comments like "I will loose my job if you do not sign right now". Other unethical and potentially illegal tactics like "I can give you a 1.5% better rate if you buy the extended warranty". I took my business elsewhere.

Orlando RV Response • Mar 06, 2019

These comments as stated are not anything I have ever witnessed. We do not speak to customers in this way.

I have reached out to Mrs A in the hopes to resolve these feelings.

The interior of our Keystone Vapor Lite 29ft Travel Trailer has been falling apart since we purchased it. We continue to have service work done but the same continues to happen. The interior, the trim and the wood continues to buckle out and the doors the hindges fell out of the wall because there is nothing there to support the screws. We bought ours from the RV show in 1/2018 but didn't pick it up until 3/2018. We have only used our camper 2x last year because it has been in the shop for repairs. (We had 21 places that needed to be repaired along with seamtape and moldings) I would like to know WHY this keeps happening and is anyone else having this issue. I love the camper I think it is poor workmanship.I am taking our camper back to the dealership to have the same repairs done AGAIN.I would like my warranty to be extended since I have had problems since dat ONE!!FOOTNOTE: Now our furnace isnt working either
Product_Or_Service: Camper

Desired Outcome

Other (requires explanation) I would like for my warranty to be extened for another year or replace the camper since some of the repairs that were done before have to be done again!

Our Vice President of Customer Service has reached out to this customer.

Orlando RV does not have the authority to extend manufacturer warranty. We can only provided service.

The phone number to the factory customer service was provided.

If you do decide to shop Orlando RV do not purchase the extended warranty they swear is the best. I know I am not the first to say this either. We purchased a travel trailer from them and purchased the extended warranty but when we tried to make a claim because of damage that occurred due to a part failure that was clearly covered in the contract we were constantly denied. We had a independent RV mechanic look at the issue and give an estimate to First Extended in which they tried changing the wording so they did not have to cover it. When I called them out on it they just kept making different excuses or just flat out denying with no explanation. What our issue was that we did not know until the damage was noticeable is that the P-trap under the shower was leaking and causing damage to the floor. It started under the shower and we did not notice until it spread outside of the bathroom and the floor started getting soft. At first they trying saying the P-trap was "over-tightened" by the manufacturer which was proved to be false. After that we were packing up the camper to take to the RV mechanic and the slide out broke. Keep in mind this is a 2014 model we only owned for a year so we should not be having this many issues. The First Extended contract clearly states slide outs are covered but it was denied as well saying it was a manufacturer defect. Once again this was made up by First Extended. Long story short, after months of battling with First Extended they told me I need to take it up with Orlando RV. I went to the dealership and was directed to Geraldo who had only been working there for 2 weeks. He passed some emails along and I finally got Laura R. After she defended First Extended over email a few times she finally said they were going to send a third party inspector out to give a second opinion. I was supposed to have an answer within 48 hours which turned into weeks. They decided after the inspection to fix the slide out and the P-trap but not the floor. When I stated that in the contract when a covered part (P-trap) damages an uncovered part (floor) the uncovered part has to be repaired as well. I was told by Laura that First Extended was fixing the P-trap as a "goodwill" to help the situation and that the damage was excessive and had been going on for awhile. Like I said it started under the shower so I guess I should have taken off the access panel daily and made sure it wasn't leaking. All they do is pass blame onto the customers. Either way RV One and First Extended are owned by the same people so it makes it easy to purchase but impossible to make a claim. They will do whatever they can including lie to not cover. DO NOT FALL FOR ORLANDO RV AND THEIR AMAZING EXTENDED WARRANTY.

Orlando RV Response • Nov 08, 2018

Our finance departments only sell third party programs , First Extended is owned by the A rated carrier *** , contracts are also backed by the A rated carrier Virginia Surety .

All of our products sold in finance have provided value to thousands of customers when was used properly.

Extended Service Plans do not take the place of proper maintenance ,or the requirement to take immediate action when repairs are needed, especially when dealing with water damages .

In this case, a leak was left un-treated for over a year causing damages to spread throughout the unit resulting in the need for significate repairs .

Per our warranty administrator ,

Slide- was presented(cause of failure) and confirmed as, slide bracket detached from wall , no component failures or parts needed to repair , labor only .

Only action needed was re-securing the bracket . Adjustments are not covered under the terms and conditions of this service contract .-This repair was originally denied .

P Trap - was presented(cause of failure) as a manufacture defect , no other determination was made regarding cause .

Manufacture defects are not covered(Excluded) under the terms and conditions of this service contract .-This repair was originally denied .

Floor repair/Replacement -Floor Deteriorated in multiple areas due to long term water damages , Damages were confirmed as a Long Term Leak with no remediation .- This repair was denied and is still denied .

Mr. S contacted our finance department regarding this matter and was referred to work with management for further assistance .

Members of our management team reviewed the claim at length with the administrator to be sure claim was adjudicate properly .

After reviewing the claim records with the administrator , it appears proper claims protocol was followed .

Due to the customers escalation , First Extended was willing to contribute to the repairs needed for both the P-Trap and Slide , but could not assume responsibility for the deteriorated floor .

Mr. S was still unhappy with our efforts , our final recommendation was for Mr. S to submitted the water damages to his property and casualty insurer .

Customer Response • Nov 09, 2018

This is a made up statement that it was leaking over a year because there is no proof of that. The leak started under the shower then spread so I would like to know how you see a leak that is hidden. They constantly denied the claims without inspecting until about 2 months after asking for it they finally sent an inspector out. So its my fault First Extended did not respond within a acceptable time limit which in turn caused more damage. The inspector said the P-trap and slide out should be covered is all I was told but they would not allow me to see the report. Funny how the floor is denied because its an expensive fix. When they decided to fix the P-trap First Extended ultimately admitted it failed. Since the P-trap failed and is being covered why wouldn't it cover the floor that it damaged? Orlando RV is constantly taking the side of First Extended and not the customer they sold the policy too.

This dealer sold us an RV under false pretenses with extensive water damage.
After seeing this RV we fell in love with it. We talked numbers with the finance person and ended up being able to purchase it. We signed paperwork Friday and they gave us an apt to come back Monday for demonstration. This is in Orlando we live in Miami so we made arrangements to stay an extra day to get this done. After we signed we wanted to see trailer again and the sales person tells us by the way this was used for RV shows that's why you'll see some damage. We then inspected the trailer and found numerous cosmetic problems that needed fixing. The dealer guaranteed they could have it fixed by Monday 3 pm when we came for pick up. We get there Monday , go see trailer and most of the things we said we're not fixed not to mention we see a water leak stain inside. We keep looking and we find more. On the walls you can clearly see the stains plus the paper lifting. We ask for manager they take us into Cindy delaneys office we explain the issue and tell her we want this deal cancelled because of the issue in the trailer. She was very rude , not sympathetic at all and tells us because we signed its now our problem. She said they can fix it but we said we payed 44k for something new and now we find out has damage especially water damage. At this point they have two workers on the roof. Resealing it. If there is no damage why are they sealing ? So she had no solution for us but 1. We were stuck with this loan and damaged trailer or 2. She sells us a new model 2019 for more money. We then show her the new model online for 40k she refused to price match even after all the problems. We then tell her we will be contacting our attorney and leave. As we were outside another sales man comes out trying to help us. He agrees with what we we're saying and tries to help us out. My husbad got on the phone with our attorney and as that's happening she's standing at the window sees my husband on the phone. And at this point I'm sure the sales person told her we were talking to attorney she comes out and says she canceled the loan. When apparently in the beginning she said it could not be cancelled at all. This dealer sold us this trailer under false pretenses with severe water damage claiming it was new. And the manager has no customer service ! Very rude and claimed we couldn't speak to owners because they were her brother in laws. I feel bad for whoever buys something there I pray they look at what they buy real well!

Desired Outcome

I would love to hear from the "actual owner" of this dealer so he can fix the issues especially with his manager, Cindy D.

Orlando RV Response • Jul 11, 2018

I am sorry this customer feel this way.

The camper they purchased had some warranty issues that need to be handled. The technicians were working to resolve the unresolved issue. This should have been handled prior to pick up and I am sorry it was not.

I agreed to reduce the price for the 2018. And got very competitive on a 2019. Could not do the pricing they wanted but I was able to get very close. And offered to pay for a hotel in addition to allow us to get the 2019 ready. All money has been refunded.

I will have the our Vice President of customer service reach out to this customer. In the hope to resolve any outstanding issues she is mentioning.

Customer Response • Jul 13, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I am truly appalled at this response! Now I know this company has no ethics or morals. For starters there were no warranty issues the trailer had severe water damage that they were trying to cover up at the last minute and thank god it wasn't handled before we got there because we would've taken a trailer that was messed up to begin with. She never offered to pay for anything much less our hotel so Im in shock that is even being said and you never even bothered talking price with us for the 2019 so not sure what competitive price you are talking about .

Its sad when your own employees have to go try and calm your customers down because they know what kind of business is being run there. We are first time trailer buyers , we were so excited and happy for this purchase. If she would've come at us with a different tone we would've left there that day with a trailer, not that one but another one. Even the 2019 if we would've had to pay a little more. SHe was so nasty and now to read this response is even more infuriating! I dont want the VP of anything to contact us I want the owner so he understands how his manager is running his store even if its family!

Orlando RV Response • Jul 17, 2018

The Vice President of Customer Service is someone that the owner put in place for anyone unhappy with customer service.

I did offer to pay for the hotel this was offered to the husband over the phone by the sales manager. And I also reduced the price and that was offered to the husband over the phone by the sales manager.

I am very sorry the customer feels this way. I would like to resolve the issues. I encourage this customer to call me or return the call from our Vice President of Customer Service.

Service Department is horrible, and was told lies prior to sale to address my concerns.
First, I had a technical issue at a campground less then 30 minutes away from the dealership. The service departments response was I should go to a uhaul. They don't service the hitch as they put it on, but buy it elsewhere. After haggling with no resolution I told them never mind I will handle it myself. Not one phone call from anyone to see if my family was ok and off to our next stop. I Explained I would not remain in Florida and my concerns are with warranty work. The manager assured us their website and dealer would handle everything. Now that I have a warranty issue accross the country, I'm told to contact the manufacturer directly. Lies to get the sale. I've only been contacted by the regional VP, after I responded to a auto generated email telling them I was so upset. She has calmed my nerves, but now with the new issue it's back to the way it was before.

Desired Outcome

At this point, come pick up this trailer and refund 100% of my money...and I'll go buy from a dealer who cares about their customers.

I have been in contact with the customer since the customer took ownership of the RV. I personally made arraignments to have the hitch replaced for the customer at no charge in his current city in New Mexico and that assistance was declined by the customer. No other warranty issues have been reported by the customer since he took delivery of the RV. I would be happy to assist this customer with any warranty issues that he may have now and in the future.

Customer Response • Jun 15, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
There was a new warranty complaint placed thru the Rvone website. It was in regards to the emergency brake trailer system that came loose twice. This complaint had nothing to do with the hitch, except the way it was handled prior to the r*** VP reaching out. I was left stranded and nothin was done about it. The new service request I returned the phone call of the service man who called, no answer and left a message that email was my preferred method of contact. Ultimately I was told by the service manager that he suggested I use the Jayco extended warranty, instead of them. When purchasing the unit I told them my concerns of traveling and warranty, and the manager Cindy said I could contact the dealer or use the website RVone...and it would be handled. I have an email from Thomas Kenkins saying since I'm so far away I should contact Jayco directly. This was a concern prior to purchasing and I was lied to about their service. They said they had techs all over the country. The attached photo proves their was another service request, to which the person responding to my Revdex.com complaint lied and said there wasn't any further issues. I demand a full refund if this is the integrity and service they give, and they should have to come get the trailer. I would like to purchase elsewhere.

Customer Response • Jul 02, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
All communication was via text. I have a mental disability and they were made aware of this prior to buying and along the way several times. I am retaining outside counsel and previously requested this complaint come to a close. I am no longer allowed to give evidence in support for this case.

Orlando RV Response • Jul 02, 2018

After receiving the customer's last response I reached out to him to discuss the issues that he was experiencing. I tried to assist him by scheduling an onsite service appointment for him to get these issues resolved while he was in NY but he made unreasonable demands in addition to having the warranty repairs made. When I was unable to meet those demands he began cursing and getting very angry. We are willing to work with him to have his warranty issues resolved but we must follow the guidelines set forth by the manufacturer in order to do so and the customer must understand that and work with us in a positive manner to get the repairs completed.

I bought and RV trailer from this place on 22 apr 18 and they broke the fresh water tank valve and threads and I have not been able to use the rv.
On apr22 2018 I perchased an RV travel trailer from RV Orlando hence there paperwork date and finance. 2 weeks later I was able to show up to do the walk through demo and 1 the guy doing demo went to drain fresh water tank and snapped off the valve and threads, they said they would fix it but gave no date to how long or what there fixing just the constant the parts on order. even not usable for its perpose they told me to take it. Now 11 may 18 we still get the run around of the parts on order. first payments on 24 may 2018 and I cannot even use the trailer for its perpose its just a yard display now.

Desired Outcome

Being that they broke the item. I believe they should expidite the part install it and pay either the first months payment since i cant use it for its intended perpose or refund me the exstended warranty charge i paid and ill fix it and no further biusness with them.

Orlando RV Response • May 17, 2018

The customer contacted me earlier this week and made me aware of this situation.

I am in contact with the customer and working to resolve issues.

I feel the customer feels confident in our handling of the issues.

We were purchasing a trailer, but another salesman came over and said it was sold; we were promised identical except color. It was not.
We were in the process of purchasing a trailer from Orlando RV on May 4, 2018, Keystone, Hideout. While we were having the sale written up, another salesman came over and stated that unit was sold. The salesperson stated they had another one with the same equipment , but different interior colors in storage. We accepted purchasing that one. When we came to pick it up, it did not have the one major thing on my list--a spare tire mounted on the back bumper, nor was it ready. The salesperson, Terry, was not there and no one knew anything about it. On May 8, I received a phone call asking for information about the size of the tire so they could get one for me. I had to drive to where it was stored, take the photos of the tire and sent it to them on May 10. I received a phone call on May 10 that the trailer we bought did not come with a spare. But the one they showed us had one and they stated they were selling us one with all the same items on it. So my complaint is that they showed us one thing, took it away and they sold us something different and they refuse to supply us with the missing item, the spare tire on a wheel with the rack to hold it to the bumper.

Desired Outcome

Mail us the spare wheel with the tire on it and the rack that holds the spare tire, like the one that was on the trailer they were selling us, before they sold us one that was supposed to have the same gear, but it was not with the unit when we picked it up.

Orlando RV Response • May 11, 2018

I had a conversation with the customer. To better understand why he thought he was to get a spare tire.

I agreed with our customer. We ordered his tire and currently have it on order.

Customer Response • May 11, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I am happy that Orlando RV has agreed to order the Spare tire on a matching wheel with the rack that holds the spare on the back bumper and even include a cover. They stated today on the phone to me, May 11, 2018 that when it all comes in, they will ship it to me. Upon receiving the above items, I will close the case with the Revdex.com.

Orlando RV Response • May 14, 2018

I am sorry for the miscommunication. The option was not on the MSRP, or purchase agreement and the customer left stating perfect post demo. So when he called the service adviser he did not see this as a option. So he had to declined to order at no charge.

The customer called me and expressed concern and was clearly upset. I approved and ordered the tire.

I fail to understand why there is any issue with the resolve.

Refund for extended warranty I did not want and cancelled before I took possession of unit 0n 17Nov2017.

Picked up RV on 11/17/2017. Over last 2 months I hav had numerous phone calls and emails with Damian, Chandy and left many messages. 2 weeks ago (01/04/2018 I was told a check was cut and sent for $3371.68 to be credited to my account. Still no check.

Desired Outcome

refund of $3371.68 immediately.

Orlando RV Response • Feb 20, 2018

This customer has contacted Orlando RV about his warranty refund.

The customer cancelled his warranties on 11-16-17 and the cancellation was approved on 12-26-17 and a check was mailed to US Bank shortly after. Mr *** felt that the check was taking a while to post to his loan account. So he requested that another one was resent to US Bank on 1-18-18. On 1-19-18 another check was cut and *** directly to US Bank for processing.

Office Manager updated the customer on 1-19-18 and let him know that the check was *** and set for Monday 1-22-18 delivery. The office manager has not heard from the customer since.

After the check is mailed to US Bank it is in their hands to post the check to the customer's loan account.

Orlando RV has little to do with refunds from the Extended Warranty Company. They are a seperate company. We try to do all we can.

I recently purchased a AirStream Trailer . They told me everything was checked out when I picked it up Come to find out nothing was checked out . Door does work properly the hot water heater does not work. When I dropped it to be fixed they said it would be done in one day . When I came to picked it up the next day. They said it would be another week . Everything that comes out of the swervice peoples mouth is questionalbe (putting it politely) I just want our Airstrean and not a bunch of

We purchased a used rv from them and purchased a 4 year extended warranty on this rv. From first day had problems with rv. We had to replace the brakes on this rv, tried to use warranty but it was declined. When we contacted warranty company they said rv over mileage. When we told them it was a 4 year warranty, they told us to contact selling company. We did they said it was their mistake and they would reimburse us. We sent them copy of repair work and the warranty contract. This was 3 months ago. Every time we call to find out when we are going to paid back, we are told it is being processed.

Desired Outcome

Billing Adjustment To be repaid immediately, no more excusses!

Orlando RV Response

Orlando RV does not approve or deny extended warranty claims. The Extended Warranty company is a different company than our company.

However, I looked in the situation. And have been advised that:
The transaction has been processed. And Laura R is waiting for a check number and check date. Laura will follow up with the customer when she has this information.

I am sorry for the inconvenience but it sounds as if everything is moving forward to resolution.

Signatures forged on paperwork that we had never seen.
We traded in a camper for another one. We agreed on the bank and signed all paperwork. We got a bill in the mail about a month later from a bank we had never heard of or were not told about. We then concluded that the bill was for the camper purchased at Orlando RV. Call the Bank and asked to see all paperwork submitted from Orlando RV. Upon review of the paperwork, my wife and I found three separate documents with forged signatures on them that we had never seen before. Went up to Orlando Rv/RV One and confronted manager. The finance representative's signature was on one of the documents that had our forged signatures. The manager we spoke with at Orlando RV/RV One was very obtuse and flat out denied any wrong doing on their part.

Desired Outcome

Admit to and apologize in writing of wrong doing or accept return of product and issue full refund.

Orlando RV Response

Good afternoon,

The following complaint was received and we have looked into and per the Store Manager and the Finance Manager all internal and proper documents where authorized by the customer.

We apologize for any confusion and look to resolve the situation and answer any questions.

We have reached out and communicated with the customer and will be glad to meet with the customer with the goal of satisfying their questions.

When we discussed the issue with them they stated they would be back in contact with us.

We also welcome any further questions we may assist with.

Service issues not being resolved.
Buying a brand new R.V. from Orlando RV One has been a far cry from being recreational. It has been a total nightmare with the lies and shoddy work.
I was first advised by R.V. One that I would be able to take my camper to any dealers that sell Keystone; which would of been great, seeing that I live a 150 miles away from R.V. One. This is a lie. Try it they'll tell you to get lost!
To start my brand new camper has issues with cooling. It does not cool at 15-20 degrees below outside ambient temp. In the sun with no shade we are lucky to get a 5 to 8 degree differential in temp. I have been to Orlando R.V. One with this issue many times and I have pictures showing them the problem. Their answer was to put another a/c in the rear. I should not have to do this. The air ducts in the kitchen are for decoration I guess as there is no air coming out of them and this is ignored as well.
The refrigerator is not cooling consistently and food goes bad because of the temp differentials and they know of this and I have pictures yet I'm completely brushed off.
The latest problem is a hole in the shower/tub which was not found on the dealer acceptance form. Once I found this problem Orlando R.V. One claimed the manufacturer would not cover the problem. Unreal.
The dealer now has my R.V. to correct the shower/tub issue they agreed to correct. Also a list of other items it has been in service for in the previous months with no resolutions. Now the dealer claims a problem occurred with the shower/tub and another reschedule will have to occur. Again!!
What about the other problems that they totally ignore. An LP gas problem, trim falling down on the ceiling, air flow, refrigerator and they say just to come pick it up.
This is an all event and come and get it the service department tells me. Unfortunately it's not that easy to stop my life and pick up an R.V. that has been at in the service department 5 or more times since May of 2017. There is room on the property to sell but not to fix.
I have made a huge mistake and desperately regret this purchase. The stress this has caused me has been unimaginable. I just want these issues to be addressed, fixed and not be blown off.

Desired Outcome

From our very first service appointment a trim piece on the ceiling was to be repaired and as of date it is still hanging there. All issues to be addressed and fixed.

I am sorry that our customer is not happy with the service provided. We will work with to improve his satisfaction.
Our Vice President of Customer Service is working directly with Mr Harris. She has the corrected tub surround on order, the incorrect color was sent in error. We need to run a test on the fridge. The trim piece will be fixed. Lastly, the AC's are running as designed by manufacturer.

Our VP of Customer Service will remain in contact with*** until his RV is completed.

Customer Response

yes I would like to follow up with the progress of Orlando RV horrible experience and hopefully anyone that might be reading this summary will sure shy away from this dealership. Yes I was contacted by a company Rep named Jen C. She claims she is the Regional VP of customer service. Let me tell you, if this lady worked for me I would fire her.
She calls me wanting to know what is going on. I tell her all about the staff not doing anything to fix the RV, the A/C that does not cool, the refrigerator that does not cool. At first she seemed to be interested in helping the situation. Then after I talked with her , no return calls on an update after the camper has been sitting at the dealership for over a month. She says "call me with any question you might have", so I did, no answer.
See she like to screen her calls. Because I called her on a unidentifiable line and she picked up the phone. Then immediately patched the phone over to the worthless staff at the service dept at RV one. Then it was the same old conversation, nothing getting done, were running tests on the freg. How about some results. totally worthless. I would like to protest in front of there business I am so aggravated with these people. Just today I called and no one returns my calls. NO ONE.

I am telling whoever is looking to purchase a RV, Stop, turn around and RUN, don't walk, RUN from these it's.

Orlando RV Response

We are replacing the heating element in the fridge. We are confident that will resolve the issues with the fridge. The remainining parts for the tub surround are on order we are waiting for them to arrive for install. This will resolve the issues with the RV.

I am sorry the customer is having difficulty reaching people to help. I believe the service manager and Jen have been in communication with our customer. And I am in the dealership all week and weekend. I am always available as well.

We hope to have issues resolved with in the week and getting the unit back to the customer.
