I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.   Despite the fact Orogold finally agreed to refund my money, it took more effort than most consumers would have put up with.  Many people, if they took the time and energy, would have given up by now.  My complaint is not solely based on their refund policy.  Their general business practice is questionable and their sales staff use high pressure tactics to lure you into their store.  Westfield Shopping Mall management has fined Orogold for violating the terms of their lease because they stand out in the walkway of the mall to prey on unsuspecting mall guests.  None of the sales staff or management ever disclosed a NO REFUND policy.  I find that very deceptive.  Perhaps they can legally get away with posting a tiny sign by the register, but their failure to not fully educate their customers is troubling. Most retailers will refund products if the consumer is not happy.  I watched numerous women get lured into the store and then watched the high pressure bully tactics.  Their prices vary depending on how wealthy the customer looks.  Their prices are not printed on the products, which I find very deceptive.  The sales staff raise or lower the price depending on the level of resistance by the customer.  The whole experience was shocking to say the least.  If you review other Internet sites, you will see Orogold has been compared to scams operating outside of the US but have a US address for "show."  I realize there is not much Revdex.com can do since my complaint would be more accurately categorized a "BE AWARE" only now.  I am trying to warn un-suspecting women to stay away from the Orogold company.  I also doubt their products have 24k gold in them as they claim.  I don't have the financial resources to hire a lab and test their products but I have been told they have the same ordinary ingredients as inexpensive drug store cosmetics.

RUN!!!!!! EXTREMELY high pressured sales pitches, you can hardly get away without making a purchase but BEWARE, NO REFUNDS!!!! That's right, what kind of skin care line does not allow returns, one that cannot stand by their product!! I was never informed at the time of purchase that there were no returns or refunds and was asked if I could read when I came back to discuss returning the product. I pretty much but the product to get away from the store and then was not able to return them, so I think I am stuck and might as well use them until I read dozen or so bad reviews of how the products effect people's skin and sometimes cause rashes.

Let me tell you I was treated like an it and less than a person when I went back to the store, I truly have NEVER been treated like that as a consumer! I would not send my worst enemy to this company's stores.

The OroGold website conveniently modified my poor review on their website, again what a terrible company!

Review: My boyfriend was invited to try an exfoliator by [redacted] at Orogold Cosmetics. He purchased the product for me and with the purchase came a complimentary facial. I went to the mall today for my facial. I met [redacted] who seemed very nice, she shook my hand and began explaining the products she would be using. I noticed she did not wash her hands prior to touching my skin and there was an odor coming from her as well. I ignored it because I didn't want to be rude and I was interested in the products they had to offer as she claimed they are organic and FDA approved. I purchased additional products and left the store. As the day went on my skin began to feel irritated and a rash began to form. I texted [redacted] because this is how we have been communicating as the store number is incorrect at the mall directory and she demanded that I send her photos so I did. She said it's rare and has never happened to previous clients. She told me that her brother was the owner of the store so I asked her if they could provide a refund because I will not be using the products due to the allergic reaction I had and she stated that what she used for the facial is not in the products I bought so it should be fine. I told her that I do not feel comfortable using the products and will not be using them. I do not believe she is a licensed aesthetician so I shouldn't have let her touch my face anyway but I did. And also the retail cost of the products I purchased was $662 but purchased it for $252 which is a great deal but also questionable. I believe they are falsely advertising and they accepted my boyfriend's credit card number when he wasn't present. He texted it to me and accepted it. That could have been anyone's number I was using. As I was leaving she stopped me and said that the product she used on my face retails for $5000 but for me she can offer $500. Should have known this was a scam.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund for the products that were purchased.

Review: April 7, 2015 I was lead into OroGold by the owner named [redacted]; whom was very delightful. He wanted to do a demo of the product, 24k Muliti Vitamin Peeling along with 24K Multi Vitamin Day Moisturizer applying the product to my forearm. I have acne prone skin along with blemish scares; I've taken acutane along with other medications provided by a License Dermatologist due to my breakouts. [redacted] is very smooth with his sale assuring me this product will work removing acne scares and outbreaks within 14 days. I stressed the importance of my skin being sensitive due to fear of product not working for me along with the price of this product. [redacted] assured me, "don't worry you'll love this product and I'm the owner if you don't like I will take care of you". [redacted] provided moisturizer 100% off and charged $180 for Peeling, before taxes. [redacted] had me initial the receipt stating; "if you don't like bring it back in 14 days". This sound too good to be true, a product for use and return if it doesn't work. I returned to OroGold April 14 and told [redacted] that this product is NOT showing any results and I may return product. [redacted] stated "why you say that, you haven't used product that long, you must use 3-4 weeks for results". I stated, "i don't have 3-4 weeks as I cant return it after 14 days". [redacted] said; "dont worry...I'm the owner I'm always here". I told [redacted] I would use the product for 1 more week and if it does not work I will return it. [redacted] said, "no problem". Well today (4/20) I pack up both products and retrieve the receipt..guess whaT..IT STATES; 14 DAYS FOR EXCHANGE ONLY! How slick is [redacted] and dishonest. This product has clogged my pores (moisturizer) and there's been no CHANGE in my skin, its worst!Desired Settlement: I spoke with [redacted] and of course his policy of refund doesn't exist; he double talks the customer for them to lose track of business transactions. Aside for the 1st day of sale when I came into his store 7 days later and mentioned returning product he NEVER mentioned exchange only. Why would I add this product to my face for more clogging; it saddens me because he seemed so genuine. I dont like dishonest people all for a DOLLAR. Desired resolution: REFUND $194.40 to credit cardThank you
