I was not fully reimbursed for the issue I had if anything I have been rip off and from being given a faulting washer from the start that was not able to be fix and had to fight to get that fix and now to get a New Warrnety that when I did not get full use out of it ! and the cost at the time I bought it was $I will not give this company another $for a total of $the can give me it at full cost or meet me at half for $other then that I will not pay full cost for a new warrenty for the washer there needs to be some equal ground hereThis is the worst business I have ever had with a company

Our delivery manger spoke to the customer and offered to send a different delivery crew back to deliver his new appliances or at the very least hook up his old onesHe demand a time that we were unable to meet on such short notice we offered to send a crew back at the end of the day which he did
not wantOur delivery manger sent him an email stating that per their conversaition that he cancelled his order and refunded his credit card

As I mentioned in my response I mailed the customer copies of the invoice for the contract as well as the terms of the contractalong with the touch up paintApparently when *** mailed the original paint he accidentally sent the wrong color

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Thank you for your note, but as I mentioned in my email to you on Jan5, 2015, I will not consider the matter closed until I receive the proper shade of toupaintI have been in touch with *** at the Orville Home Appliance location where I purchased the applianceShe has been diligent in following up on my concernsHowever, as a customer I still have the right to complain about what I perceive to be shoddy business practicesYou state that in your correspondence (The Revdex.com publishes the details of complaints received by our officeThe text of your complaint may be publicly posted on Revdex.coms Web site ) From the initial response I received from both the sales rep and service department, I am convinced Orville's deliberately sold damaged merchandise at full priceHere is whyWhen my wife and I noticed the scratches and dents, we went back to the Webster, NY location of Orville's Home Appliances and sought out the representative who sold us the unitWithout hesitation, he pulled out a sales form and instructed us to contact the service department, whose number was on the sheetThe sales rep was very helpful but gave the impression this problem was a routine matter with himThen when I called service, the representative got defensive and evasiveHe initially doubted me, then said his delivery people took pictures of the front of the refrigerator and found nothingI said the dents and scratches were along the left side, then forwarded a picture of the damageHe said he would contact me when he received the picture and respondWhen I heard nothing that evening, I contacted him the next dayHe said nothing about the picture I sent, then claimed he tried to email me but the email address was rejected I sent three more emails to them without any responseSince I charged the purchase, I next contacted my credit card companyThey said they could not withhold payment until the product was returnedThat was not a practical solutionI then worked out some small compensation, but even with that, it was an ordealThe service manager agreed to a free five year warranty, but never once mentioned the warranty is stored electronically and the customer never receives a hard copy "official-looking" document stating what is covered in the warrantyI had to visit *** to learn that I spent way too much time trying to figure this company outThey are the most unprofessional business I ever dealt withAs I told ***, I am sorry I ever walked into Orvillehere I was trying to patronize a store proximate to my community and I all got was griefAgain, I feel I am nearing completion in my complaint against Orville, but still have the right as a customer to voice my concernBy the actions of the Orville employees, I remain convinced the merchant sold me a defective refrigerator at full price, then followed up with very poor efforts to resolve the matterThis is no way to run a business and I feel they and the general public should be aware of this company's practicesThank you

When a customer purchase's any extended warranty the repair or replace option is the extended warranty company's decision not Orville'sThe contract has been completely fulfilled if the extended warranty company choose's to buy a new appliance for the end userIn this case the extended warranty
company had the original purchase price of the washer at $the amount that the buyout was forAs mentioned in the complaint our store manager provided the replacement washer at no additional charge(normally $597) Therefore we will not be able to provide an additional extended warranty at no cost

Hello: I think the issue MAY be settled. After I sent my complaint to you, I decided to try another approachI went to the Orville location in Webster, NY where I purchased the refrigerator and talked to the managerPreviously, I spoke to the sales rep there who sold me the
productHe just gave me the phone number of the service department, located in Lancaster, NY and intimated this was the only method of settling a disputeThe service manager there was evasive but eventually he and I agreed that Orville would waive a $delivery fee, give me a free five year warranty and send me touch up paintHow the piant covers dents is beyond me, but seeing I was getting nowhere with these people, I agreedHowever, after a week and a half , the service manager, *** ***, was not responding to my emails, so I grew concerned and decided to contact you.Mr. *** claims he made good on his compensation but never offered any proof about the status of compensationI had to call my credit card company to find out the delivery fee was waived;.When I stopped by to speak to the manager at Orville's in Webster, she said that Orville's does NOT provide a hard copy of a service warrantyInstead it's kept electronically in the systemWhen I asked for something more tangible, she produced an invoice saying I had a five year warranty included in the sale of the unitI had no idea where that came fromNot once did the service department respond in any manner to say the warranty is only stored electronically or even if they agreed to providing itI still have no idea what is specifically coveredWhere the touch up paint is, is anyone's guessOrville's says it will try to re-sendI won't hold my breath. In summary, yes, they made some adjustments to my concerns, but Orville's never acknowledged what they did and when they did itThe burden was on me to make calls and run around to see what compensation if any was madeTotally unprofessionalThis is a lesson learnedSome compensation may have been made, but the Orville's Home Appliances method of doing business may never be resolved. Thank you

Good Morning,I see that our sub contractor and field inspector have failed to get this repair done in a timely manorWe have a confirmed appointment with *** *** and *** *** for Friday 3/27/to repair the threshold Orville's has also offered an exchange of the range because
of the delay on the parts coming in for it.Thank You,*** ***

Our office has explained to Mr.*** that the warranty company NOT Orville's make any and all decisions as to repair or replace any non functioning unitWe have been working with the extended warranty company as well as the manufacturer to get this situation resolvedOrville's would
never be petty enough to intentionally delay a process as the consumer thinks for any reason!! We will continue to work with the extended warranty company and advise the ***'s as any update's become available

Dear Revdex.com,I am still not satisfied with the response from Orvilles They did send someone out ( a sub contractor) and they did look at the problem and again nothing has been done!!! I just wan the door threshold that was damaged by the delivery of a stove I purchased back in October of fixed!!Please fix the threshold !!

The Manufacturer provided a year warranty on all functional parts and laborUnfortunately that warranty has expiredWe also offer at point of purchase an extended warranty that would have covered any out of pocket expense's that our customers may incur should the need for service arise. At
this point any repair's would be at the consumer's expense*** *** can be reached @ 1-*** to request further assistance

our records indicate several attempts to try and contact Mr. *** to schedule service for his dishwasherunfortunately we have not been able to obtain any records of service history he claims to have hadWe would be more than happy to make a request for replacement if we can support the
claim when *** has no history of service we do not have the ability to get the dishwasher replacedif the service history can be sent to us from whatever company performed the service we will forward the records to *** and ask again for replacement. Our last conversation with the consumer was yesterday when we again attempted to offer assistancewe were asked to stop calling them as they would be calling *** direct

We certainly regret and apologize for the negative experience Mr. *** has had with our delivery department and delivery Manager ***I will mail a copy of the service contract as well as touch up paint today

It is clearly stated in the delivery agreement that Orville's Appliance cannot be held responsible for damage to old appliancesHowever the sales manager *** has made several attempts to contact the customer to remedy the situation with no responseWhen the consumer calls back I am
confident *** will remedy the problem

This company is missing the entire pointI bought and paid for a new clothes washer and dryer, when they came to deliver such their employee gave me a lot of problems and when I said something to him he then refused to bring in and hook up my new appliancesHe had already disconnected my existing appliances and left me without anything workingThe manager wanted me to let this individual back into my house after he showed a great deal of disrespect for me and was causing a great deal of problemsI took three hours off of work to accommodate this company and the delivery, therefore I did not ind it unreasonable to tell the manager to get someone else within two hours to hook my existing machines back upEven now this individual ants to make it seem like it was my fault that his guy walked off the job and that his guy shows a great deal of disrespect for customersI have read through some of the many complaints listed up here on this site and it seems like quite a few people have issues with the customer service from this companyI honestly wish that I would have check them out on the Revdex.com before dealing with them because then I wouldn't have been in this predicamentI had to pay a plumber $to come in and re-connect my dryers gas line and hook my washer back upI also had to go to *** and purchase another set which involved my time and gasThis company is being unrealistic by thinking that it made things right by refunding me my money for a washer and dryer that they didn't give me

Revdex.com spoke to the consumer on 4/29/who stated it was fixedHowever, her husband had to put on a bottom threshold

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I have received the documentI am asked to have this document taken to a notaryI do not believe this is proper customer service for me as the customer to go out of my way to take time off work and go to a notary, have it signed then return it to the company who did not attach any address, or paid postage to send back

I have spoken with the representative from *** and they are going to have an independent company exchange my dishwasherAs far as this case goes hopefully everything will be taken care ofAs far as Orville's goes, their Manager *** and their service department is the worst I have ever dealt withLike I stated before, I spoke with *** numerous times and explained that having someone come out and rebuild a month old dishwasher times is not acceptable and his reply back to me was it is not their problem and to you was he was not aware of the situationWill never go back there again!

Dear ***:Orville's has received the estimate and approved the claimOrville's policy is that before any claims are paid the consumer must sign and return a notorized release formThis is in the process at our corporate office and as soon as we get the signed release form back a credit can be
issued.Sincerly,*** ***

I'm not sure why Mr*** is even checking the water temperature on the washer., I don't read anything that mentions a complaint about the performance of the washerAfter all of the technicians and the engineers at Samsung say the unit is working as engineered we accept that to be
true. Although we feel replacing the unit will be a complete waste of time we are attempting to offer a replacement or buyback to shop elsewhere if still not satisfied with Orville'sWe want everyone to be completely satisfied with there purchase. My office will continue to attempt to communicate with Mr*** to discuss the details of our offer for resolution
